yeah uh I want to come in because I got bits and pieces of it one thing uh Christians should never do is either water down the Bible or try to make it more palatable in order to appease people I'm not saying this about the sister because my duty is to preach what the Bible says to the best of my ability whether someone likes it or not that's between them and God but I do not have a right to try to twist the Bible or water down to appease a person because if we that we're not

going to end up with Christianity we're going to end up with a religion that's created by the person's whims and desires so when a sister says I don't like that and I want to say this honestly you're not in a position to re re reject something because you don't like it your preference doesn't mean something is true or false so when you keep saying I don't like it that's that's your preference but to be honest and I say this respectfully I don't care about your preference because you're not God you don't know all things and

you can't determine what's absolutely right or wrong let's take Adam's attempt of trying to appease you with circumcision you said you don't like circumcision why because uh didn't didn't God create the people the human beings perfect so what why you confusing preall with post-fall you have to explain thaty as first of all first of all I also said I also said I have not read both the books meaning the Old Testament or the New Testament but as far as I understand a God who creates human or who has created human beings he must have created

them perfect so what I don't understand is why is circumcision necessary of boys IGN my response sister see this is what you did again you confused pre-fall with post-fall pre-fall before man sin and postf fall when man sin why are you taking commands that are given after the fall man when creation is now tainted corrupted and Fallen what I'm trying to understand that is yeah well I'm get there sister I'm asking the questions so you can understand you need to think a little more deeply uh circumcision serves many benefits we're talking about a situation that's

now mankind has sined creation has been tainted and it's been corrupted it's not in its ideal environment so number one you don't confuse and say this when I say confused the condition of the world before sin entered the world with the condition of the world after it entered that's number one number two you wouldn't say to me and I'll explain the logic of circumcision that since God created a perfect world that if someone then cuts open your stomach and removes your appendix somehow you don't like that because the removal of the appendix is for your

safety because now in a fallen World your appendix can be ruptured and kill you dead so would you think that was evil for the surgeon to cut you open remove the appendix before it poisons your blood and kills you death no because so this is what I'm trying to get at in a perfect world your appendix would not rupture in a world where there was no sin you wouldn't have cancer for them to cut open and remove from your body or a brain tumor but we're not in a perfect world anymore we're now in a

fallen world where sin has now brought damaging effects spiritually noetic Psy ologic emotionally and physically so the story of the Bible is God now restoring mankind to bring them back to that ideal situation and undo all the damage that sin has done this is why the Bible is a story of redemption well if you're not Fallen then there's nothing that would need Redemption so I just want to be clear instead of assuming and I'm not saying you I'm just saying speaking General well why circumcision go and see the logic of circumcision why God instituted circumcision

and he pretty much tells it he gives it away when he says on the eth day right there it's in Genesis 17 and if you read from nine all the way to 14 he says this is the sign of the Covenant between you and I where every male it's a male not female unlike Islam where they even circumcise females that's in Islam but put that aside in the Bible males are circumcised on the eth day now the 8 day has many significances let me bring out some number one and this is just a medical fact

now I'm not saying they knew it back then I'm not saying this this is why they did it but it is amazing that now in light of advances in medical Sciences the eth day is where vitamin K reaches its Optimum optimal levels in the body of a baby and vitamin K functions as a natural blood clotting agent preventing excessive bleeding so number one is that a coincidence that of all the days God chose he chose the Eighth Day for circumcision when that's when this is a fact of science it's not my opinion as your body

starts producing vitamin K it reaches its optimal level on the eth day is that a coincidence sister no but how would they have known that 4,000 years ago they didn't no no idea they didn't know it but God knew so God created the body in such a way that on the eth day the body of a newly born baby the vitamin K in that body has now reached its optimal levels and don't take my word for it just check it out so here's the medical benefit of doing it on the E day and only males

keep in mind only males now why did God have them do this physical act the entire theme of the Old Testament is these physical actions that God's people are doing are meant to point to a greater reality a spiritual reality that Jesus fulfills and I'm I'm not exaggerating Sabbath why do they do Sabbath it points to Jesus why did the priests have to be unblemished you may think it's cruel but I'm going give you God's wisdom in Leviticus 21 it says if there's a priest who has one foot higher than the other or a crushed

testicle or some physical deformity he cannot serve as a priest because of the physical deformity now you may oh man cruel God discriminates against people with physical deformities no that's not the point the point is that the priest is a picture of Christ a priest cannot be spiritually blameless unblemished therefore what God does is he makes sure that priests who serve will be physically unblemished because their physical Perfection points to Jesus being spiritually unblemished so that physical requirement was meant to point to a greater spirituality priests can't be sinless but they can be physically unblemished

and them being physically unblemished is a picture of the one to come who will be spiritually unblemished spiritually faultless spiritually perfect even with the animals When God says do not bring a defective animal for sacrifice the animal must be unblemished without physical defect why because the animals are a picture of Jesus as the Lamb of God who is spiritually unblemished a perfect sacrifice to take away our sins so so instead of reading on the surface level this is why I told you earlier read the life of Jesus and then he becomes the lens by which

all of this now makes sense oh wow now I see so then what is the significance of physical circumcision on the eth day now let me show you how it points to Jesus everything is meant to point to Jesus now let me show you how as our brother noted physical circumcision was a sign of a greater spiritual need and reality go to Deuter 1016 and show her Deuteronomy 10:16 so this is why surface level reading it's it's it's Troublesome because you okay why that's where Jesus comes in and then when you see it from Jesus

omy 30: 6 but I got to go through this slowly so you can see and I'm learning the Lord your God will circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants so that you may love him with all your heart and with all your soul and live see what God is teaching mankind you have a spiritual condition a psychological condition that has damaged you and has done great has basically handicapped you so you can't be the way I wanted mankind to be before they sin and therefore you need a remedy you need spiritual surgery see

look what he says circumcise your hearts and the hearts of your descendants why because if you don't get circumcised you won't be able to love me with all your heart your soul and live this is what we call the spiritual condition of man after the fall being sinful because of Adam and Eve they not only passed on physical genetics they passed on psychological emotional spiritual genetics and those genetics that they passed on are not ideal they've been damaged and tainted which is why you see so much suffering and pain and misery and evil because we're

damaged and so Jesus is showing us here that damage can only be remedied by spiritual heart surgery where C I cut off that evil inclin from you so you see now physical circumcision wasn't just arbitrary it's a physical act to remind people there's a greater need you need spiritual circumcision now notice it said eth day eth day now let me tie it in with Jesus e day go to Colossians 2 11-13 so you see how the E day circumcision though physical points to Jesus now coming about and Performing spiritual circumcision on you off that evil

foreskin that spiritual cancer making you a new creation so that you can now dwell with him forever and how did he do it Colossians 21-3 read it for in him you were also circumcised with a circumcision not performed by human hands your whole self ruled by flesh and by the way means here flesh means evil sinful inclinations and desires that have ens snared you that's what Paul means by flesh meaning evil soulish desires that make you act selfishly and make you act in a manner that's not conducive for the well-being of people around you or

yourself finish it by the flesh was put off when you were circumcised by Christ having been buried with him in baptism in which you were also raised with him through your faith in the working of God who raised raised him from the dead see now Paul says when you were baptized in water that's when Jesus performed spiritual circumcision on you so now physical circumcision the reality has been fulfilled in Jesus now notice what your spiritual circumcision signifies you were buried with Jesus see Jesus died when he died though Jesus was sinless the body that he

had that body that he had was to Decay weakness and death it could grow old it could get tired it could die that's why he was able to die but he had no sin but that body was then raised go Jesus raised that body on the third day and made that body now Immortal deathless indestructible that's what we believe about Jesus's resurrection and we believe that Resurrection proves that if we're in Christ that evil sinful inclination is being removed from us until the Lord comes where we will no longer have this sin polluting us and

our bodies will be made deathless but what's the guarantee that's going to happen when we accept Christ and are buried in the water of baptism that burial when your body enters the water it simulates you being buried and then when you come out of the water it simulates you rising from the dead like Jesus's body was buried and then he stood up alive amen so circumcision points to Jesus's death and resurrection and Act of God that brings about a new spiritual transformation Jesus's death and Resurrection is what brings about this spiritual circumcision this new creation

where your evil is removed and you're going to be made Immortal with him so far you with me because I have to make Point yeah now yeah why eth day now let me show you now why the eth day eth day is the day after the seventh day because in the Jewish calendar six days you work seventh day you a Sabbath right and then starts the first day of a new week right that's how the Jews did it God said work six days seventh day you rest and then the first day begins and you repeat

that that new week where you work six days seventh day rest first day you start over again so notice the first day is a start of the work week you work six days you rest on the seventh day and then the first day starts another work week but now technically pay attention the first day Falls after the seventh day does it not seventh days is a Sabbath day right the day after is the eighth day which is the first day of the week right notice that Jesus is raised on the third day which is the

first day the first day of a new creation in which he ushers in spiritual circumcision and spiritual circum cision is brought into being as a reality on the first day when Jesus is raised which happens to be the eth day the day after the Sabbath oh wow and notice that's the first day of a new creation because that first Sunday when Jesus was raised that was now the start of a new creation of human beings transformed because of Jesus's resurrection so that took place on the eth day which was the first day of a new

creation see there's nothing coincidental in this book if you have eyes to see
