you've got to recognize that it's a done deal Jesus has already done it healing is provided for you it is the children's bread the Lord would no more deny you healing than he would deny you salvation and you ought to no more give in to sickness than you would give in to adultery or lying or [Music] stealing this is a great honor uh for me I've been trying to get Bill to come here and of course Randy came here back in 2014 wasn't it 17 18 anyway Randy's been here once I've ministered with him once
I heard bill for the very first time today but I've heard about him for a very long time and I've been trying to get him to come and so Randy got him to come that's the way we did it so uh anyway hopefully this will not be the last time you know Randy made mention of this and uh it might need it might could go without uh explanation but I just want to say this over in 1 Corinthians chapter 12 it says uh in verse four now there are diversities of gifts but the same spirit
and there are diversities of administration but the same lord and there are diversities of operations but but it is the same God which worketh all and all and I tell you one of the problems in the body of Christ is that we uh we get in our lane and think that anybody who's not exactly the way we are is wrong and I tell you this isn't healthy in the body of Christ the Lord wants us to operate in unity and I'm just thrilled to have them here I admit that I'm Different I don't know who
I identify with some people put me in the faith camp but the faith Camp has called me an a cult for a long long time and some people put me in a Grace camp and uh uh Grace Camp called me a cult because I teach too much faith and so I don't know where I fitus and uh you know I one of the best things that ever happened to me is right after the Lord changed my life I mean I was turned on radical I got drafted and sent to Vietnam and I just spent um
18 months just studying the word 10 to 15 hours a day and when I came out I was a Baptist when I went there and when I came out I wasn't a Baptist anymore and they told me they didn't want me and so anyway I've been somewhere in between the cracks all of these times but I really respect these two men and their organization and I just am thrilled to have them here and uh I do things differently I don't know why I do things the way I do and I'm still green and growing so
I'm not through changing but u i just encourage those of you that are a part of this ministry and stuff to embrace this it's a different operation it's a different way but it's the same Spirit and the fruit is good and that's what we're all after praise God you know I've got a brother and he's my older brother and he hadn't always liked me he told my mother that we were a cult and that she needs to gets away from us but you know what he was my brother and I've always loved my brother and
I never got upset with him even when he was telling people I a cult and then he came here and now that he's seen what God has done he says maybe I was wrong or maybe I was too strong he never has said he was sorry but he did say maybe I was too strong and and it doesn't matter to me he still my brother and if we're brothers in the Lord Lord we need to love each other and receive from each other and I'm just thrilled to have you guys here I hope you'll come
back that'd be awesome Amen all right so I want to share with you out I've got a lot of things that I'm thinking about and I'm not sure exactly where this will go but I want to start right here in Matthew chap 11 I won't go into the whole background of this but this is where John the Baptist actually had doubt about whether Jesus was the Christ which uh was a major deal for him because he was the one that God anointed and he actually saw a visible sign and an audible voice that this was
the Christ and yet he came into doubt and he came and asked Jesus about his doubt and I got a great teaching on that I'm not going to teach on that but I want to go down here in Matthew 11 and in verse 11 he says verily I say unto you among them that are born of women there hath not risen a greater than John the Baptist notwithstanding he that is least in the Kingdom of Heaven is greater than he man that's a radical statement I mean this is including Moses David Elijah anybody you want
to mention John the Baptist was greater than them and yet if you are least in this new covenant in this new kingdom you are greater than John the Baptist therefore greater than Moses Elijah you've got more power and authority they didn't have a clue the things that we've been talking about and all of this and uh Brian I don't see him but Brian was up here teaching and um without me going into a full explanation the Lord spoke to me on the 5th of uh March that we he said some of the people in this
room will be telling people about the third Great Awakening and I said wow you mean we're going to have a third Great Awakening and he said nope it's already started it's already here and so this is what my television programs are about this week and I'm sure that Brian didn't know that but man he was saying some of these things about we're already in it so my point is that we have power and authority that the Old Testament Saints it says that they long to find out the day that you and I live in that's
amazing there are many of you that think man I'd a lot rather have what Moses had Elijah had or somebody else but those people long to have what you and I have this is what Randy and Bill and all of us are trying to share with you is that Jesus has already done it he's given us this power and they've been talking about not praying prayers asking for things but instead just commanding the disease and the problems to leave and yet most people approach God as a beggar not realizing what they've got and so if
you feel like you are the least Saint in this Auditorium if you think well Randy and Bill and these other people man they they're powerful but if I just had some of that power if you are the least Saint in here you've got more Authority and power than any of these Old Testament people and here's what I was wanting to share with you in verse 12 it says and from the days of John the Baptist until now the Kingdom of Heaven suffereth violence and the violent take it by force you know I was confused about
that for a long long time wondering what does this mean but here's what I've come to believe that the Lord was saying here and this is one of uh one of the things I want to share with you right now there's so many things I'd love to share about healing but uh one of the things is you've got to get violent in your attitude towards healing that it has been purchased for you it is not optional and in instead of approaching the Lord and asking as a beggar God would you heal me you've got to
get this attitude that you have this provided for you and you have to get a anger against sickness and against disease and I find that most Christians most Christians that I deal with are passive I actually have lots of people come up to me in my prayer lines and I've had people before tell me things wrong with them and name 15 or 20 different things and I've actually told people before why did you let that happen and the average person well I don't have any control over this that is a wrong attitude healing is not
something that has yet to be accomplished it is a done deal by the stripes of Jesus you were healed first Peter 2:24 Jesus has already done his part he's seated at the father's right hand and I'm going to say some I Minister sometimes by a shock but it's because it's not hard to tell people what they need to know the problem is getting past all of these barriers in the religious traditions and stuff so sometimes I'll just say shocking things and and to get your attention but if you'll stick with me I'll explain it before
it's over but Jesus isn't healing people today he healed you 2,000 years ago by the stripes of Jesus you were healed 1 Peter 2:24 it's a done deal and it's just a matter of reaching out and taking what God has already provided for you and you have to have this attitude that God I'm not just asking but you have provided it I'm honoring You by believing that you've done it and now it's mine I reach out and take it in the name of Jesus and as has been said Randy talked about it in the uh
lunch thing Brian talked about it earlier but it's not that we're commanding God but Isaiah 45:1 concerning the work of my hands command you me the way I look at it is like electricity electricity has been generated and put into this building but if I was to call up the electric company and say hey we're going to have a kingdom Foundation uh conference could you please turn on the electricity did you know that they won't turn it on for me they generate the power they deliver it to me but it's at my command and if
I want to turn this power on I have to turn the power on I have to flip the switch and when I flip the switch that's not me commanding the electric company to do something we've already got an agreement and they've delivered it to me it's at my command and so in a sense yeah I'm commanding the electricity I flip that switch and I command the electricity to come on but it's not because I'm the source I could put a light bulb in my mouth and it'll never light amen I'm not the source of the
electricity but it's at my command and this is what we're trying to say is that God has already done his part and as New Testament Believers we've got more power and authority than Moses than any of these people it's at our Command but the average Christian is going to God as a beggar and saying God I've got all of these problems you know the scripture says that when you pray you don't use these vain repetitions that the Lord knows what we have need of before we ask out of Matthew chapter 6 and yet the average
person uses prayer to tell god what the doctor has said as if God didn't know and we tell him that God it's really critical you've got to do something that's not the way you approach God for healing you got to get this attitude that Jesus you provided healing for me and there aren't enough demons in hell to take from me what Jesus has given me that's the attitude that you've got to have James 4: 7 says submit yourselves therefore unto God resist the devil and he will flee from you and the word resist means to
actively fight against saying dear devil please get off of my case is not resisting the devil and let me you know I've got so many things I'd love to share I'm trying to cram a bunch into this but um you've got to get angry at sickness and disease you know I'm not saying this for any other purpose than trying to illustrate what I'm saying I many of you don't know me and you won't understand my motive but I'm telling you that the only reason I'm saying this is just to illustrate but I don't believe in
getting sick I don't get sick it's been 53 years and I've had two coals and that was because I totally exhausted myself one time I talked 41 hours in one week and 40 hours the next week and I got a cold and the next time I came back and it been 72 hours without sleep on an overseas trip and my uh drain was plugged up on a pond and I broke the ice and got under there and unplugged it after being awake for 72 hours and I got a cold I've had two colds in 53
years I don't get sick I don't believe in getting sick you can't make me sick and some people think that's arrogance some people think it's uh wrong they say well you just wait well I've been waiting 53 years and I don't get sick but the reason I'm saying that is I had uh Daniel amads who is the guy that runs our healing school and by the way this is our normal healing school this afternoon we have a healing school every Thursday afternoon uh but instead we're having this conference but um anyway Daniel Amstead traveled with
me for a while for about a week or two and he was asking he says how is it that you don't ever get sick and after traveling with me he says now I know he says you hate sickness I hate sickness there's a lot of people that tolerate sickness let me put it to you this way as long as you can stand to be sick you will but when you get to where I'm sick and tired of being sick and tired and you do it not in your own strength and power but you're doing it
through the power of the Lord I tell you that this attitude is something that um you know Brian was up here again talking about all of these revivalist and you can name every one of them TL osbor Jack Co every those people were were violent Smith Wigglesworth I ministered in a place over in England where Smith Wigglesworth used to preach a lot and I ministered there and we saw some great things happen but Smith Wigglesworth he was constantly being criticized as you're angry you're mean he would yell he would hit he would poke people and
people said things like well why do you do that and he says I'm after the devil I can't help it if your body gets in the way w one time he had a little baby now I'm not telling you that you just do this but he had a little baby and I forgot what was wrong with it but he took this baby and he kicked it from the stage to the front row and did you know by the time it hit on the front row it was well now I'm not saying that you have to
do that but you have to have that attitude you have to have this attitude that you know what sickness isn't an OP option so many people see healing as being optional but it's a part of what Jesus died to produce we had those scriptures quoted already this morning uh talking about Psalms 103 verses 1 through three put healing and forgiveness of sins in the same scripture you have been healed of sickness just as much as you have been uh forgiven of sins and the body of Christ for whatever reason has taken salvation and has divided
it into forgiveness of sins and then into healing and prosperity and joy and peace and all of these things but Jesus purchased all of that in his one atonement and if you would get as committed to being healed as you are to standing against sin it would be it'd be 90% of the battle now there's other things you need to know but that's a large part of it is just having this attitude you know I am absolutely committed to not committing adultery and I am just as committed to never being sick I won't get sick
anymore and I'd go commit adultery it's quiet in this Presbyterian Church many of you well that's not the same thing I have nothing to do with sickness again I I'm going to say some things I hadn't got time to explain it but Satan can't do anything to you without your consent and cooperation that's the reason he didn't come through a mammoth or through a tiger or a lion to Adam and Eve and command them to eat of this fruit he had no power to force them to do anything he came and attacked the word of
God got them to doubting what God Said said and they had to entertain his doubt and unbelief Satan's only power against us is deception and you may think well I didn't ask for cancer well you didn't pray and say oh God give me cancer but I believe somewhere down the line you've been believing a lie you believe well I'm only human I'm just a man One Day at a Time Sweet Jesus that's all I'm asking of you that's wrong you aren't only a man or a woman you are wall toall holy ghost on the inside
you've got the same power that raised Jesus Christ from the dead Ephesians chapter 1 verse 19 and if you knew your power and authority as Jesus said that you are greater than Moses greater than Elijah greater than any of these people if you knew this power and authority and if you were thinking that way you wouldn't have uh entertained those thoughts that bring sickness and disease such as well I'm only human and I have no power and cancer is incurable all of those things are lies I can guarantee you all of these men down here
have seen many people healed of cancer and of things that are incurable and yet we've been raised to believe only what we see and not raised to believe what the word of God says but Satan somewhere has to teach you how to submit to sickness I think one of the reasons that Adam lived to be 930 years old is cuz he didn't know that it was at 40 you were over the hill nobody gave him a birthday cake with black balloons and diapers and stuff like that he it took 930 years for Satan to convince
them he didn't know that there was a flu season he didn't know that there was an allergy season he didn't know these things you have been taught this stuff this is the reason Jesus said You shall know the truth and the truth shall make you free if you understood who you were what you have what Jesus has done for you I guarantee you the truth would set you free truth will overcome cancer I'm not saying that cancer isn't physical but it's not only physical and as a man thinks in his heart so is he Proverbs
237 and I can guarantee you you get your thinking straightened out and you will experience heal healing in your body and part of the wrong thinking there's a lot of things but part of it is our passive attitude that we have that I can't control healing I can't do these things and so we just live a life and when uh you know covid comes around everybody else goes to talking about it just exactly the same as the people that don't have Christ Living on the inside of it you've got a promise that no plague will
come nigh your dwelling and yet many Christians were just as afraid of covid as the people that didn't know the Lord am I saying that you're a bad person no but I'm saying you're dumb amen I said it in love but you just Dumber in a hammer praise God Jesus said no plague will come now your dwelling and yet we're so afraid that we wouldn't even leave our house and do things something's wrong with this picture brothers and sisters we need to get an attitude that Jesus you purchased this for me and I am not
going to let the devil steal from me you know my uh when I was a kid I threw up I guess like anybody else did but man when I got hold of the word of God I hate throwing up I hate it my wife is the kind that if she feels bad she'll stick her finger down her throat and make her throw up so she can feel better not me I threw up once right after we first got married now it had nothing to do with me getting married but that came out wrong but anyway
I threw up one time since Jamie and I have been married and after she saw me she says now I know why you don't like throwing up cuz man I'm one of these toilet Huggers I mean it's just miserable so my point is that if I ever get an upset stomach I'll get up in the middle of the night I'll pray in tongues I'll fight like it's the plague and I don't throw up it's been about 40 uh 47 or 48 years since I'm thrown up I don't get sick I won't get sick and many
of you I don't believe that well then it won't work for you but I'm telling you I believe it and this attitude this attitude is a positive thing if you can Channel it in the right way look over here in Ephesians chapter 4 let me share a passage with you that is often misquoted or misapplied rather Ephesians chapter 4 in verse 26 it says be angry and sin not let not the sun go down upon your wrath neither give place to the devil some people interpret that as well God knows that we're human and you're
going to lose your temper sometime or another so God makes allowances for that but just make sure you get it confessed before the sun goes down this is not putting approval on anger as long as the Sun is up what this is saying is there is a righteous type of anger be angry and sin not there is a anger that isn't sin did you know that God gave everybody the capacity for anger there's not a person in here that can't get angry God gave that to us this isn't just for a few people every one
of us have the capacity for anger the sad fact is the scripture says that we wrestle not against flesh and blood but against principalities Powers rulers of the darkness Etc we use it against people instead of the Demonic powers that are behind things so there is definitely a wrong use of uh anger but God gave you the capacity for anger and here is a command to be angry and sin not and then he says and let not the sun go down upon your wrath what this is saying is don't ever let it settle don't ever
let it become dormant don't ever become passive you have to stir yourself up or you will sink to the bottom every time you have to be angry at sin and sickness is a result of sin you need to hate sickness not hate people who are sick but hate sickness you need to hate this stuff and I tell you we become complacent towards it one of the reasons that overseas you see so many people healed relative to here in the US is because overseas they haven't embraced and made friends with sickness the way that we have
we have so many drugs we have the uh Disabilities Act so that you could be in a wheelchair and you can still function and get around and you have all of these things you have uh Social Security and Welfare that'll take care of you if you're incapacitated but overseas those people if you can't function you die or you have to become a beggar or something those people are motivated it's we have made allowances for sickness and and now there are so many people that live live with sickness I'm not asking you to raise your hand
on this but in my meetings often I would I would bet I would uh venture to say that well over 50% of this group are on some kind of medication something like that again I'm not condemning you but I'm saying we use these things and it allows us to cope and so we can tolerate it we can live with it that's not hating sickness you need to hate this stuff you need to fight against it be angry and sin not don't let it go to bed keep it stirred up and when you do that I
tell you what that just makes a huge difference if Satan can find somebody who's complacent who's passive he takes advantage of things like that but you can get to a place to where you have this power and authority Authority and again there's so much more than just what I'm sharing right here you need to know who you are in Christ you need to understand your Authority that you have you need to recognize it's not you that's doing it it's God's power but nonetheless it's at your command it's on the inside of you and you have
to get this attitude that I refuse this in the name of Jesus I tell you I've done this so many times and again I'm not using myself for any other purpose except just to say that it's working for me but I have had I've had just about anything happen to me that could happen to anybody else and yet I've got this attitude that when Satan comes out against me if he rears his head if some sickness or disease or something happens to me man I attack it I get angry in a hurry I am not
going to live my life with problems and I don't believe I have to because Jesus has purchased my healing for me and because of that I have seen Satan flee from me I've got doctor reports of being healed of incurable diseases I believe I had a heart attack one time I don't know for sure but uh anyway I had two guys on the other side either side Bob Nicholls and and U I forgot the other guy's name he's now gone to be with the Lord but anyway he walked into a airplane propeller and it messed
his face up and he got healed both those guys were standing on either side and boy they prayed over me and I mean God's healing came back into me me and and has totally healed me of all of that and I've I've seen great things I was running not very far from where this building is I was running this has been 25 years ago and I was running out here in the snow and I was going down a real Steep Hill that was nearly as high as this uh ceiling and I was going across it
instead of straight down it and every time I'd take a step you know you'd slide a foot or two there was snow on the ground and anyway with my left foot I was I ran like that and I got a tree root caught and right here on my leg and it snapped my ankle boom like that and it hurt and I rolled all the way to the bottom of that hill and I was 8 miles from home 20° and snow on the ground and I just said I am not I I hit the ground got
up running yelling in the name of Jesus and ran eight miles home and the next morning I it was black and blue but within a day it was back to normal and I'm just fine amen and you've got to have that kind of attitude that Jesus I believe you you have purchased this for me and in the name of Jesus I am not going to live this way you know the third chapter of the book of Acts is where Peter and John were going into the temple at The Hour of Prayer and they saw a
man who had been lame from his mother's womb the fourth chapter reveals it was uh 38 years he had been lame and when they saw him he begged for an arm they said Silver and Gold Have I None but such as I have give I Thee in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk and they reached down and grabbed the man by the hand and lifted him up and immediately his feet and ankle bones receiv received strength and he went walking and leaping and praising God did you know they didn't even
pray a prayer they didn't even say oh God we know that we are nothing and that we have nothing and that we can do nothing but that you could heal this man would you stretch forth your hand and touch him and heal him they said such as I have again I hadn't got time to explain all of these things but I'm not saying that it's me in myself in myself I can't heal aat in myself I'm nothing Jesus said without me you can do nothing I agree 100% with that but I'm never without him and
he lives on the inside of me and through him I can do all things and I have the raising from the dead power on the inside of me it's not out there someplace that I have to pray it down it's on the inside of me see this is what so many people Miss they come to Bill Johnson they come to Randy Clark they come and they say you guys are anointed would you pray for me but what you don't realize is you got the exact same power that's on the inside of them now you may
not have the same Revelation that they have you may not know how to use it the same but that's totally different you know I can compare this to running a marathon unless you've got some physical problem something's wrong with you did you know every person in here has the ability to run a marathon but you don't have it today you would have to train you would have to exercise yourself and I tried to run a marathon one time and I did it too quickly and um anyway it's long story but I wound up hurting myself
and so I most I ever ran at one time was a half marathon 13.1 miles but the point is you have to train I I didn't realize how long it took I thought maybe in two or three months I could do it it takes a year to train for a Marathon at least and so my point is every one of us could run a marathon but you may not be able to run it today every one of you can do what these men can do but you may not be able to do it today because
you haven't renewed your mind you haven't developed it but you've got that same power on the inside of you every one of us have this power and this is what Peter and John were saying such as I have did you know that would get them kicked out of nearly any church in the United States today if you came in and say I have the power of God and I will heal you most people would just explode but it's absolutely true matter of fact Jesus in the 10th chapter of the Book of Matthew he when he
commissioned his disciples he says go heal the sick cleanse the lepers raise the Dead cast out Devils freely you have received freely give did you know he didn't tell you to pray for the sick that's right there isn't any command in the New Testament for you to pray for the sick there aream examples of it I'm not saying it is wrong to pray for the sick it says over in James chapter 5 if anybody's sick let him call for the Elders of the church and let them pray over him but there isn't a command for
you to pray for the sick there's a command for you to heal the sick there's a difference you can pray a chicken prayer where oh God would you you reach forth your hand and touch this person and if they get healed awesome and if they don't well it was all up to God but when you start saying I have the power and stuff it puts you on the spot and not many people will do that and there are conditions to this even Jesus couldn't heal everybody in his own Hometown because of their unbelief and so
you know what Randy was sharing last night trying to build your faith and stuff it's so important that you got to get the person you're praying for to operate in faith but nonetheless we have the power of God and yet we are acting like we don't we come before the Lord and we just ask and wait to see if anything happens and if nothing happens then uh you just think well God didn't heal me the truth is you've already got that raising from the dead power on the inside of you it's already there it's just
a matter of you activating it you know let me share this passage with you out of Ephesians chapter 2 and verse 8 I'm giving you a shotgun message just all kinds of stuff I'm cramming into this but in Ephesians chapter 2:8 it says for by grace are you saved through faith and that not of yourselves it is a gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast this says you're saved by grace that's God's part through faith that's your part not one or the other you're saved by a combination of the two Grace
and Faith is like sodium and chloride did you know sodium will kill you if you eat enough of it chloride will kill you but you mix them together it becomes salt and you'll die without it did you know that Grace by itself will kill you if all you do is talk about well it's just up to God whoever God wants to heal it's Sovereign and God whatever you want to do it'll kill you if that's the way you approach Salvation And if you said God if you want me to be saved I'm ready save me
no he's already provided he's already done his part and he told you if you would confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead you shall be saved you have to reach out and take it see that's what faith is Faith is your positive response to what God has already done yesen that's a mouthful right there most people think faith is what you do to gain a positive response from God that's not right God by grace that means it had nothing to do with you matter
of fact J John chapter 1 says Jesus came and he was full of grace and truth and we have received of his fullness the grace of God was poured out through Jesus 2,000 years ago before you and and I existed your need your faith the things that you do don't motivate God at all it doesn't even affect God people will say faith moves God again if I'm saying something wrong this is their meeting forgive me amen so uh you stick with them this is their meeting but it Faith doesn't move God God's not the one
that needs to move he's not stuck Faith moves you and it moves the devil God by Grace has already moved and supplied everything that you will ever need but does that mean that you're automatically everything's fine and see this is what people do if they if they get hung up on just grace alone they'll go to talking about how it has nothing to do with your goodness your prayer your fasting your you don't do anything it's all up to God and there is certainly a truth there but what that'll do it'll make you passive and
the Bible says in Titus chap 2: 11 that the grace of God that brings salvation has appeared if you look it up in the Greek it means it's already appeared unto every man teaching us to deny ungodliness and worldly lust God's Grace has come unto every person that ever lived did you know Grace came to Hitler Grace came to every everybody Jesus Paid for Hitler's sins the same as he paid for your and my sins but you aren't saved by grace alone you're saved by grace through faith as far as we know Hitler didn't respond
positively to what Jesus did instead he did it his own way and and rejected all of that and so it that salvation didn't apply to him even though it was provided Grace provided it but you have to respond positively to it and if you don't understand this you'll fall into you know there's a ditch on both sides of the road out where I live I live on a dirt road and you got a bar ditch on both sides and if you start into one ditch and overcorrect you hit the other ditch one ditch isn't better
than the other ditch you aren't going to get to where you go if you don't drive down the middle and so there's one ditch over here if people only talk about Grace and it's just up to God it's not your prayer and it's not your fasting and all of these things and there there is a truth there but if that's all you do and you just totally leave it up to God you'll never see the healing power of God manifest because it's not just God's grace it's grace through faith and so that's one ditch but
then the other ditch as you get over here and start talking about faith and you say man you got to believe God faith moves God your faith makes God do this and whether it's said this way or not most people believe that God responds to your actions of Faith that's not true God does everything he does for you by Grace he he provided healing for you 2,000 years ago before you ever got sick your actions don't make God do anything he by Grace has already done it your actions here's another way of saying your faith
or your actions only appropriate what God has already provided by Grace if he hasn't already provided it by Grace your faith can't make it happen you can't make God move all you can do is appropriate what God has but you've got to have this attitude that I'm talking about to where you know what's yours and you know that God gave you the power of attorney and that you have the authority to command him not command him in the sense that you're greater but turn on the power that's already been delivered to you and you've got
to understand that and understand that when I'm acting in faith I am not making God do something I am making my flesh submit I'm making the devil flee I'm casting out demons and things like that but you got to get this attitude you know I had a woman I I'm from Arlington Texas is where I grew up and I had a woman in Arlington Texas that started a bible school and she had about 10 people 10 ladies in her Bible school and anyway they took Mark 11:23 and 24 verse 24 says whatsoever things you desire
When you pray believe that you receive them and you shall have them and this woman desired to have Kenneth copelan as her husband and so she claimed Kenneth Copeland as her husband and she dealt with Gloria Copeland being married to Kenneth by saying that you know I can have whatever I say and so they cursed Gloria and commanded her to die and they were just waiting on her to get out of the way and they actually had a wedding ceremony in this Bible school where this woman married Kenneth Copeland in the spirit and and then
she was just waiting on Kenneth Copeland to get out of the way I mean Gloria so that she could marry Kenneth now most of you when you hear something like that you say Ah that's wrong why not it says whatsoever isn't that a whatsoever why can't you claim somebody else's mate why can't you command your enemy or the person that's standing in the way of your blessing to get out of the way you say that it's wrong but why it doesn't it say whatsoever things you desire When you pray believe that you receive them and
you shall have them see the answer to this is people don't understand that your faith doesn't make God do anything faith can only appropriate what has already been provided big difference and God did not provide murder and adultery in his atonement so you can't make that happen this is why you can't take mark 11:24 and say I go rob a bank and I confess with my mouth and believe in my heart that I will not be caught in the name of Jesus that's why you can't do that is because God didn't provide thievery for you
in the atonement and if you understand this properly it takes all of the struggle out of Faith because Faith isn't something you do to get God to move faith is just your positive response to what he's already done faith is just how you appropriate it when I was a kid I got born again when I was 8 years old and the week before I got born again I went to a vacation bible school at our church and my family was like a skunk we had our own Pew right down here on the front row and
that was our Pew and I sat on the front row all the time but because of vacation bible school we had 600 kids in this thing and they put me in with my group and I was on the very back row of this Auditorium 600 kids in there and there was a man who took a dollar bill out and this this will tell you how long ago that was and he held this dollar bill up and he said I'll give this dollar bill to the first kid who comes up here and takes it and I
thought of all of the times to be at the back of this room and I mean instantly there was 20 or 30 kids around him just jumping and saying I want it I want it and he just kept his hand in the air and he said I'll give this dollar bill to the first kid that comes up here and takes it and we were all wondering well all of them want it and he just kept repeating this over and over and finally it hit my Lightning Fast mind what this guy was talking about and I
got out and I ran down and I pushed through those other kids and he had his arm up like this and I grabbed his arm and climbed up his side and I grabbed that dollar bill and did you know when I did it he says now all of you wanted it but that's the first kid that came up here and took it and he used that to illustrate salvation Jesus paid for the sins of the whole world but you have to reach out and take it by faith your faith doesn't make Jesus die for you
he's already died for you 2,000 years ago before you and I were born before we had ever sinned he commended his love toward us in the while we were yet sinners Christ died for us you you didn't do anything to earn God's grace if you can do anything to earn it it's not Grace but you do have to respond if you don't confess him as your lord then you will not receive that salvation that he's provided it doesn't apply you have to mix it you have to mix Grace and Faith together and anyway the reason
I'm saying all these things is to is to illustrate this attitude that's how you got born again you didn't come and just say father if it's your will save me if if that's the way you'd approached salvation you'd have never gotten born again but you heard somebody Proclaim that it's a done deal Jesus has already died for your sins he's already dealt with them it's not a matter of will he forgive you he has forgiven you will you accept it and because it was presented to you that way you reached out and took it and
I can guarantee you that there's sometimes that you don't feel saved sometimes that you may have wondered about man was I really changed and yet you just go back to what the word says and you stand on it and you maintain your faith the scripture says in Colossians 2:6 as you have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him that means the same way that you got saved is how you get healed you need to have the same attitude you need to say I know that I was healed you know that you
were saved and you don't doubt it you just stand on it and You' got to do the the same thing with healing and yet you know if people came forward for salvation here today and if somebody came down here and says I want to be saved and if I had a word of knowledge and I said man God showed me you've committed adultery what makes you think God had save you did you know that most people would just cave right then like oh man I don't deserve salvation but if they had heard the gospel correctly
that wouldn't keep them from getting saved they say that's the reason I need to be saved I know I'm a sinner and they would go ahead and push beyond that but you let a Christian come down for healing and I have a word of knowledge you gotten a fight on the way to church you got into an argument and the average Christian had just totally cave like oh now I know why God's not going to heal me Y and it's because you are relating to God on the basis of your own work your own effort
somehow or another feeling like you got to deserve it but you that's not how you got saved that's also not how you get healed you've got to recognize that it's a done deal Jesus has already done it healing is provided for you it is the children's bread the Lord would no more deny you healing than he would deny you salvation and you ought to no more give in to sickness than you would give into adultery that's right or lying or stealing you got to have a an attitude and re recognize that God would never deny
you and then you put those two things together and you get this attitude that just literally that it drives the devil away you resist the devil and he will flee from you I had a man come to me one time says I've done that I resisted the devil and he didn't flee from me and I said so who am I supposed to believe God or you God says you resist the devil and he'll flip well I resisted the devil the word resist means to actively fight against it's the same thing you got to become violent
you got to get to a place to where I will not settle for less than what God has given me I've got a book entitled living in God's best and the first half of the book is all about the number one reason that people don't live in God's best is because they can settle for second best as long as you can live without God's best you will as long as you can live with sickness you will as long as you have coping mechanisms and and that's enough you will but man you just need to get
to a place to where I'm shooting for God's best and I'm not settling for second best and you got to get this attitude and I promise you that right there is 90% of the battle now there's other things you need to know but an attitude faith is as much attitude as it is action you got to have this attitude and know that it is a done deal you know I was going to play a video and I talked too long we got Donna Jones right here where is Donna I saw it right there and I
was going to play her video and ask her to come up but anyway Donna had a brain injury and she just pressed through that thing and we have uh probably 40 or 45 testimonies on our websites of people raised from the dead healed of multiple sclerosis uh healed of all kinds of things and um and the number one at the number one thing is this attitude that God you've provided this for me and I will not settle for less I'm thinking of this one couple bud and Gina Boop they live in Arizona and U Gina
had a massive brain aneurism and I mean they drilled a hole in her skull you could see this hole in her skull and they told uh Bud that he she wouldn't get out of the hospital and Bud he just got violent I mean he called me and I prayed a prayer with him and he would play this prayer with Gina every day and she was in a coma and anyway it's a long long story but she just fought and fought and fought and today she's completely healed she's been right here in this building and giving
testimony I'm thinking of another guy in Michigan who had a car hit him he in between two cars and they wanted to amputate both legs and he did die and go to heaven and he saw the Lord but he he and his wife they just refused they told people if you've got something negative to say go outside they told the doctors this and I I've probably got at least a dozen testimonies a dozen of those testimonies are people who became so radical they tried to be polite they told the doctors I know you're doing what
you're called to do and I appreciate it but if you got something negative to say about my husband or my wife you go outside we will not speak death and did you know when they get that attitude nearly every time those people get well but you have people that are in there and they wanton healing they're praying for it they're asking but they won't stand Satan is going to come and try and stop you from receiving healing and if there's any quit in you he will pursue it until you reach that place I prayed with
a woman one time who had teeth problems and she came on a Saturday night and I prayed with her and she left and didn't feel any different and on uh Monday morning again I'm not against Dennis there's a balance to everything I'm saying but I'll let Randy give the balance I'm not against dentists or doctors if it hadn't been for the doctors all the Christians would be dead so I'm not against doctors but I'm just saying that on Monday morning she got up she was still having teeth problems and she just said am I going
to keep my dentist appointment or am I going to believe God and she was in pain and finally she says I believed I received when I prayed and she canell her dentist appointment within 10 minutes her teeth were well as long as you have a thing and this is where I quit Satan will push you right up to there but when you get to a place to where I'm not quitting I refuse to give in and you get that attitude I tell you what that is 90% of the battle right there is just getting violent
the violent take the kingdom by force and I tell you brothers and sisters we got a lot of wimps in the body of Christ Christ that won't stand up to the devil or to the government or to anybody and they just give in I'm encouraging you that you need to find out that you have the same power the power that makes Moses and Abraham and all of these people jealous of what you and I have if you're the weakest Saint in here You' got more power than all of them and you need to find out
what you've got find out your Authority find out how it works but then you need to get angry that's right and you need to say I've had all of this I'm going to take and you go to resisting the devil you know when I first got turned on to the Lord I didn't understand any of the things that I've been describing to you but I got this attitude I don't know how but somehow I just knew that God provided healing for me and I have seen I don't know hundreds of thousands of people heal great
things my own son my own wife raised from the dead my son after five hours dead in a morg stripped naked with a toe tag on a white boy turned black they called me and we spoke and he rose from the dead and he's alive and well today praise God but I just got this attitude about healing and I didn't know very much but you know a a blind squirrel will get a nut every once in a while if he doesn't quit I just got to a place where I'm not going to quit you know
Brian was saying that I saw saw you now I didn't see you earlier when I was talking about you but uh he was talking about how he prayed for 2,000 people before saw the first one heal now see that's an attitude of that he just wasn't going to quit and you could take every every one of these healing evangelists that Brian talked about and every one of them had this attitude that man healing was theirs and they just refuse to give in and I tell you you gota you got to have that kind of an
attitude if you got any quit in you Satan knows it and he will push you right up until that point and you've just got to make a decision that I'm not going to back off of this it's mine amen there's much much more than that but I tell you that's something that most people are missing so I just encourage you that you need to get in and find out what Jesus has done for you second Peter chapter 1:3 says all things that pertain unto life and godliness are given unto us through the knowledge of him
that has called us to glory and virtue and so healing is one of those all things and it comes through the knowledge of him if you are fighting sickness you got a knowledge problem someplace does mean you're a bad person but you don't understand something amen we need to renew our mind and I believe as we do that we're going to see great healings come to [Music] pass
