that offer the best service good customer service is being knowledgeable about the company's products and services so you can quickly answer customers questions and it is also about going above and beyond for the customer to meet their needs so they return to the business again in the future a company like yours can only be successful if employees like me deliver outstanding service to ensure you stay ahead of your closest competitors can you describe a time you went above and beyond for a customer in a previous role a customer called to inquire about a product they
expressed an interest in a high ticket price product but I wanted to make sure they got the product they needed as opposed to getting a quick sale I asked the customer questions to determine their requirements and after answering my questions I decided that a cheaper product was more suitable to their needs I explained why the product was better for them and after they agreed to purchase it they thanked me for helping them save money and they left a positive review online how do you handle difficult or rate customers whenever dealing with an Irate or difficult
customer I will always remain professional and remember that I am a role model for your company I would remain calm and composed and listen carefully to the customer I would ask them relevant questions and quickly apologize if the company was at fault I will ask the customer what I can do to solve their problem and act quickly so the right solution ution is provided to meet their needs okay next question why is good customer service important good customer service is important because businesses like yours have competitors good customer service attracts positive reviews which helps build
trust and it also helps reduce advertising costs because it encourages repeat business good customer service is also important because customers will tell lots of people if they have a bad experience which is not good for business and finally good customer service helps build long-term relationships with customers because they will keep coming back to buy the company's products and services tell me what are your strengths and weaknesses my strengths I believe are perfect for this customer service position I have a deep understanding understanding of how important good customer service is to a business I always communicate

number one I will listen to the customer carefully and demonstrate active listening skills step number two I will ask the customer appropriate questions to clarify the problem step number three I will apologize to the customer if the company is at fault step number four I will then offer a viable solution to the complaint and confirm the customer is satisfied and finally step number five I will follow up with the customer several days later to ensure they are still happy tell me about the time when you received excellent customer service I recently booked a meal at
a local restaurant for me and my partner the online booking process was easy and I quickly received an email confirmation the day before the meal I received an email reminder with directions and details of parking nearby when we arrived at the restaurant we received a warm welcome and we were quickly taken to our table the waiter was efficient they constantly L checked to see we were satisfied and the food was excellent with a good choice available the restaurant staff were all smartly dressed friendly nothing was too much trouble and we were offered complimentary drinks at
the end of the meal the service was so good we have booked to go back there again in several weeks time okay Richard why should we hire you for this customer service role you should hire me because I understand how important good customer service is to your business I am ready to work and will be flexible in my working hours you should also hire me because I am a good teamworker positive and friendly and will always act quickly when dealing with your customers and finally you should hire me because I am a fast learner and
