Jeffree Stars found himself in some drama once again but this time it's not just him that's involved tan Mojo Brooke and James Charles are all talking about this same morphe drama and the fact that they were done Dirty by this once Famous Brand we are going to spell on everything that is being said okay so you probably know morphe like the OG Beauty brand that was everywhere thanks to collabs with influencers like James Charles and Jaclyn Hill and many more well morphe was on top of the world until they weren't flashback to early 2023 things started spiraling when morphe dropped the bombshell that they were closing all their Us stores like effective immediately employees were blindsided with some saying that they got zero notice before showing up to Locked Doors the whole thing was super shady and the brand faced even more backlash for this but wait it gets even crazier just a week later a morphy's parent company Forma Brands was like oh by the way we're filing for bankruptcy yep chapter 11 baby they owed between 500 million and $1 billion turns out the influencer clabs and glittery palettes weren't enough to keep them afloat then in March 2023 morphe got scooped up by its lenders in a deal worth $690 million they were like we're going to keep the ship running but we're scaling back so goodbye to the US stores and later in 2024 they asked their UK and Amsterdam stores too now morphe says that they're focusing on wholesale and online sales so you can still get their stuff online but it's not nothing like how it once was that's for sure and influencers have been speaking out more recently about how they are very bitter over the fact that morphe still owes them money money they will probably never see thanks to them filing for bankruptcy but Jeffree Star really was the one who got the conversation going recently when he sat down with Brook and tana on their canceled podcast and now more than ever people feel like they can speak out or at least vent about how they feel about morphe it seems when Jeffrey was uncancelled he revealed just how much money he still owed after working with morphe over the years morphe still owes me money me too well what let me stop the bankruptcy I'll never get my 1. 6 million yeah that's how much they owed me before they filed how does that work you're doing a collab with morphe they owe you this money obviously I've got I got paid several times and then the next payment was the 1. 8 they decided Well the new CEO fell into ccel culture right Lisa that was that was way past that yeah yeah and you know whatever and at the end of the day they owe me and a bunch of people money so we're never going to get it they file for bankruptcy and they I can't believe that's allowed but I guess there's nothing you can really do about it but then it's like they're just moving forward paying other creators to do that's yeah how does that make sense there's no like back pay situation he went on to call them out even further when on Tik Tok live morphe Cosmetics owes me $1.
6 million still and I'll never get it because the court granted them bankruptcy so all of their previous debts are now irrelevant so I will never get my money and I hate morphe forever how about that so because they were granted Baker see you can't sue them isn't that awful trust me you guys you don't think I would have already fought tooth and nail in a damn port for my money so my amazing collab that I created that was in Ulta that made them so much money I got big payments from them right so let me say like when we're talking about money I made a lot of money from morphe it was a beautiful partnership it really was and then the see came in and said oh gosh and got all scared and weird and didn't even have a conversation with me and he pulled the plug on the brand morphe and I were so close I was about 35% my brand Jeffree Star Cosmetics was 35% of their entire sales and then we did a collab and it was phenomenal it did so well and the final balance of 1. 6 million um I'll never get from them and we already know Jackin Hill was done Dirty by morphe when they filed her bankruptcy since as a result her brand went down to jacn Cosmetics operated under Forma Brands the parent company of morphe in January of last year Forma Brands filed for bankruptcy and Jaclyn Cosmetics was intertwined in all of that and obviously the brand suffered ultimately leading to its closure even though Jaclyn never said this to be the case though and stood by being the CEO and the founder of her brand till the very end just saying that she was closing Jaclyn Cosmetics because she was ready to close this chapter of her life cuz I mean Jacqueline revealing morphe oh her money would probably reveal far more than she wants to admit to the public right now but someone who is willing to also call out morphe is James Charles as he recently took to social media to call them out soon after Jeffrey did by posting a Tik Tok saying me watching everyone post about their old James Charles pallets meanwhile morphe still owes me $2. 2 million and he was responding to comments on the situation someone said someone educate me what I never want to buy morphe again he said you shouldn't someone else says this is making me so angry and he said imagine how I feel LOLOL another person said you better get those 2 mil and he said most likely never will because they filed for bankruptcy it actually makes zero sense Celsius even commented on this video and said sips Celsius and James said do you want to do a brand deal my rate is 2.
