why would you want to see a meditation video in a channel that sometimes seems to be more about tech the answer is very simple the channel uh i started i wanted to share stuff that helped me in the path of like becoming an entrepreneur or also learn about more about myself and when i was studying i stumbled upon a picture of steve jobs sitting in his empty room in his i think one of his houses and we maybe find a picture and put it here it's you see him sitting on the bottom not not much
around him and what the impression was for me is that i thought wow like he's a minimalist in what he's doing and when i read about him i found out that meditation was very important to him very early on before it became like a super trend so studying i thought like why don't i try that and i read about a guy called hinok polanski way back then who was also from my hometown kiel but i didn't have a connection to him and over the course of the years we got introduced by a mutual friend who
then said you gotta meet hinak and i'm like okay sometimes these things just happen in life and from then on the meditation i thought to myself became more this meditation guided by hinak and i learned about this powerful tool of meditation that you can use especially in times of crisis uncertainty creative lack complex projects all the stuff that keeps us from the core and the intuition that we can feel and all these things i'm a fast thinker so for me i really have a hard time to like let the thoughts just be the thoughts it's
not about emptying the mind it's just about letting the stuff go and i cannot explain it as good as hina can so i ask him if we can have a corona conform virtual session about why meditation is important and then also share another round of meditating together and since he's the zen master and i have to learn i gotta dress with my son and set everything up that we can get ready [Music] so this shamu is the traditional japanese working outfit and that's why i also have it in like one at home one in the
studio one at home one in the studio because for me this is a work related tool [Music] hi christopher very nice to see you okay my tea my tea is disappeared very nice to see you very nice to see you too yes too long ago no we see us half a year another yeah in the winter and last summer it's like always half a year yeah so now many things have changed so we have today uh the paths to the inner center guided meditation together thank you so much and it was requested that we do
it for the 25 minutes that we traditionally have in the second 25 minutes wonderful so really good reuters in i would say let's dive into it yes dive in so um the path to the inner center so cows crisis is for the most people the total opposite of being an inner center but why because it touches us very deeply so emotion arises like fear aggression and disorientation and then is the way to find our inner center management is the way to lead in times of peace and order and leadership is the way to lead in
times of chaos and disorientation of crisis leadership aspect has power it's one important point vision and orientation and first we need inner orientation inner vision inner grounding to find orientation outside this is the line of zen first innerspec then external so today i have a very traditional old zen rinzai exercise and um we do together so we today we have two meditations and i want to merge them together because it's a wonderful way to find your inner parts of power orientation your inner center the first is an old way of rinsing then it is the
exercise of counting your breath the first aspect is count your breath to 10. one two and suddenly chocolate white chocolate and then start again yeah if there is a sword if there's an imagination then you go back and you try yeah it's a trial way to count to ten there's a first aspect and the second is soft relax exhalation but in the same time long and deep this is the old exercise of counting breath let's start together [Music] our exercise today is very important that the left hand is together with the right hand and those
under your belly button this is your power center called japan hara now we start watch your breath watch your exhalation start counting your exhalation one two three fall five relax sleep six seven eight nine relax follow your breaths ten count and silence now on your own let's go deeper and deeper and deeper no effort only counting your exhalation count to 10. if there's a sword or a picture start again try to count to ten while counting you be relaxed long and deep exhalation but naturally no effort so so now little more concentration on counting be
relaxed but also focused only counting deep and deeper and deeper three aspects are necessary first only counting second no effort third deep long so once again together one relax two yes alexis counting devotion to your own breath nice and wonderful forecast counting silence is the answer now in your own time be focused be relaxed and long nice exhalation focus counting devotion to your breath deeper and deeper and deeper like this now we open the advanced part it went path the way to inner power and your inner center has three steps first count your exhalation now
the second aspect we want to connect breath and body feeling body experience body perception so watch your body we're sitting here what your body does not mean body as imagination it does not mean body as concept not as a function of your ego but only the truth the being of your body feel your legs your knees your hip your belly like it is naturally only feeling little gravity heavy grounded so now we connect this body feeling with our breast counting exercise feel your body knees hip and belly and your hands under your belly button and
count your breath falling deeper and deeper to the ground of your belly focused one to start very soft focused and let it go relax into silence counting relax follow your breath and feel your body your stomach belly legs knees sitting on chair percussion and one two three four five six seven eight nine then continue on your own focus counting long deep devotion follow your exhalation deeper and deeper silence power clarity follow now feel your body and be focused and counting no effort now stop exercise feel your body a little bit hmm one more so first
one week or better one month every morning 25 minutes the first step and then you can start to integrate body feeling more and more it's very important that the counting the exhalation the focus comes better own self it's not concept of concentration too much so the training is the target of the training is it's in the background and you be silence and fall off power thank you yes so whoever made it up until here now you have an idea that was a 25 minute zen meditation and my foot is usually asleep every time so don't
get up too quick thank you enoch so a question that sometimes comes from my people is that they have the feeling we do the meditation i make it gut feeling wise 15 minutes 17 minutes 19 minutes something like that and the feedback sometimes is they say i cannot get my head empty of thought i still have so many thoughts going around and my answer is usually that's okay this is what comes up this is what the exercise is for it depends there are two ways in a traditional meditation one is effort and focus it's power
the way to horror the way to inner center then it's necessary no sinking totally or the other way is the other aspect is other other exercises wide clouds naturally come and go and then thoughts are welcome i don't touch them i don't fight with them they come and go but now in this exercise focus counting no thinking so first the focus is necessary in the aspects of thinking and counting so more counting wins and thinking disappear this is the point it's necessary to train for a long time this is packed one week or one month
and then connect with the body the connection with the body need that the exercise of breast counting comes by its own it comes by itself thank you i gotta get back to exercise more good
