so is this the time to sell paler has the moment finally arrived to trim your position given the fact that the stock is now at almost $115 $120 $110 doesn't matter the stock has gone absolutely AP [ __ ] crazy over the past few weeks and everybody's wondering what should they do with their portfolios now you're all up a lot and all of a sudden the idiots who told you that this is a $5 stock looking dumber and dumber but that's not the point because gloating and taking Victory Labs although at this point I should
make a career out of it because I've been right for so many times about it but that's not the point it's not going to make you money the big question I think a responsible investor need to ask himself right now or herself for that matter and by the way my community probably has about 40% female 60% male which is one of the most Diversified communities out there for investing but the question I think is okay as a responsible adult given what just happened assuming I am 5X 6X 7x even 4X on the stock depends on
when you started buying what your cost average is is a time to trim a little bit off the top and taste some profits or should we just stand and absolutely not touch because this thing is going to 500 what are you talking about okay so let's just settle in here and let's break it down very very simple and logical non-emotional way okay so a stock is not your partner a stock is not your family member there is zero emotion when it comes to selling or buying a stock it absolutely has nothing to do with feelings
emotions attachments or loyalty all this [ __ ] should not be part of the vocabulary of talking about buying or selling a stock and P is no different people think I have some sort of a sentiment like I'm in love with no no no it's not the point the point is that you have to look at it in a called fashion okay what's the amount of risk you have on the table what's the amount of upsite you have available for you and make the right decision now given the fact that the stock is now what
1,300% up over the past few years it has a lot of people a lot of money it has made me generational money it has made a lot of people very very wealthy but now the point comes to ask a responsible question and it's not Blasphemous to ask that question I see no issues with asking one simple question hey is this the right time to start trimming a little bit I mean it's a fair question to ask and the answer depends on what you are and what your perspective is and I'll explain if you have a
shorter term Horizon with regards to paler obviously given the recent Spike you want to W you beak a little bit I mean obviously if you're you know if you're here for the next two or three years and maybe paler catches a 50% drop it may very well do so it's a very very volatile stock earlier today I tweeted that uh it's more volatile than Grandpa's balls during a tornado I mean it really is so you know if you have a shorttime horizon maybe you take some off the top maybe you der risk a little bit
if you are a long-term Horizon very very long-term Horizon let's say 10 15 years into the future and you absolutely don't care about pullbacks and drops and you are in it for the long journey well that case you probably are not that you know that emotionally attached to here 30% drop here 40% drop I mean we've seen an 80% drop in 2022 and we held through it so it's not going to be our first rodo right so the question is what are you are you more of a Trader more of a long-term investor maybe something
in between and you have to ask yourself how much risk are you willing to take on now obviously obviously no stock is going to continue going to the Moon parabolically non-stop without a correction every stock is eventually going to correct no stock just goes up in the straight 90 degree line it does not happen and the correction with paler is you know it's kind of normal it's logical it's bound to happen at some point now some people are going to be on the train tracks trying to collect pennies before that happens that's fine some people
have sold in the 80s and the 90s and theyve D risked already and some people looking at this setup right now saying well I got lucky it has gone up so insanely high so insanely fast maybe it's time to drisk a little bit and prepare now the answer is based on your risk tolerance okay it's very very simple if you ask me me personally Tom Nash the Uber long-term investor with a 20-year Horizon with absolutely no room in my life to stress and emotion well I'm saying to myself look Tom the stock has run up
insanely could it drop 50 60 70% sure it can in fact it is probably 50/50 it might drop 50% pener can be in the 60s and the 50s and the 40s in a couple of weeks easy maybe in a couple of months easy it's a very volatile stock it's can easily drop by 50 60% like this like nothing right but the question I'm asking myself do I care if that happens what my strategy is right so I know that if that happens my strategy is that it opens up opportunities for me to buy this stock
for cheaper it's going to allow me to dollar cost average at a cheaper price and lower my cost bases in order for me down the road in a few years to enjoy this reduced cost BAS just like I bought in 2022 when the cost basis was $6 $7 $8 $9 and so forth right so the dip if it comes I already know I'm going to use it so I'm not afraid of the dip in fact I welcome it you know what I hope it drops 50% so we can collect some more because I have no
intention of selling at 100 150 200 I'm holding to at least $500 per share so for me a dip is not a bad thing it's just a opportunity to get more shares at a cheaper price so I'm not here you know shaking my boots and trying to figure out whether I should sell the stock or not ahead of the pullback ahead of the correction so that's number one so in my particular case I'm not going to be selling because I'm saying to myself look Tom you can't predict the future I don't know if this stock
goes from here to 110 120 130 150 160 or to 80 70 60 40 50 you know 50 40 you got the DFT right I have no idea when the stock is going to collapse if it's going to collapse maybe it's going to go continuing to the Moon who who knows there's no way for me to know that and since I am humble enough to acknowledge that I have no crystal ball no real ability to predict where paner stock is going to be in the short term there's no point for me to sell to prepare
for a pullback because I don't know if it's coming where it's coming I have a plan if it comes I'm going to use it right but I'm not the only way to think about it and I want to be very very clear and that answer might surprise you I see zero issues with people selling 10% 20% 30% of their paler position just so they can say look if the stock collapses I already took 30% off and I'm already covered and if the stock continues to fly well I still have my 70% in play which means
I'm going to enjoy the vast majority of the bull run so I'm in a win-win position so buying some insurance getting rid of 10% 20% 30% is not a bad thing it's not like I'm going to say oh it's Blasphemous oh [ __ ] [ __ ] that you can do whatever you want right if you're going to sleep better at night if your mental health is going to be better if you take a little bit off the top and you still get to enjoy the rally if it comes why the hell not right if
you want to treat yourself to something nice if you want to buy a new house if you want to do things with your life take a vac whatever the case may be just go crazy do it who who what's the problem even 40% self 40% you still have 60% in play you're still going to enjoy if py goes to 500 a very lucrative return your investment okay so there's no problem there at all now the other thing you have to understand that there's no way for us to know this because look penter is a great
company with a great future they're going to continue to execute but paler is a company which is part of the economy and part of the market if the United States stock market dips drops collapses whatever the case may be because of inflation because of geopolitics because of because of trump whatever I don't know if something happens to the stock market piler is going to get wet more than other companies because it has a very high correlation to the market it has like a three beta which means it's very very volatile so on top of the
paler inherent risk which is maybe they're not going to execute as good as people have priced in into the share right there's also the stock market General risk for this company and yes the company itself is priced to Perfection Perfection completely yeah if paler does not execute perfectly and they don't hit every single Mark the valuation is going to suffer because right now the know the price for perfect ction so far they have delivered that and who knows there's no guarantees in life every stock can go to zero every stock can screw up there's no
guarantees in life paler is not some sort of a God's created stock that can't do no wrong so you know you have to take into account your own situation how bad will you feel if paler drops to $40 per share will you have my mindset where you're going to go and say oh my God it's a I'm a kid in the candy store or you're going to freak out if you're the lad and you know piler at $40 is going to freak you out and make you feel all emotional and depressed and it's going to
hurt your quality of life take 30% off the top and don't care what people are saying who cares paler is very richly valued sorry I just spit all over my phone but you you get the point the valuation is extremely rich there's no debating that so you take some off the top and then if it drops you're not going to feel as bad and if it goes up you're still going to feel okay right still have a lot of it in play Don't Care pay no attention to what other people are saying it doesn't matter
what Tom Nash is saying what some other clowns are saying it's absolutely pointless it's your money it's your decision you know and you have to make the right analysis what's my risk tolerance with this how I'm going to react if it's going to drop and if the reaction is going to be bad and my risk is low right maybe take some off the top but if you like me and you're saying well a dip is an opportunity then there's no point in selling so the question is more about your time Horizon risk dollar and all
