I I actually guarantee you nine times out of 10 you're not depressed you're just a prophet you're a prophet you you you think you're depressed because you're you're going through every day like what's going on with me I can't sleep I can't eat I can't do anything you're you're actually called with an assignment on your life and you can't sleep until you fulfill your assignment oh what do you mean okay let me let me let me just explain this N9 out of 10 of the prophets in scripture struggle with suicide they wanted to die Elijah
wanted to die Moses said kill me now Jeremiah said Blood Out the Doctor Who said to my mother that you have a male child uh prophets throughout scripture just were like I can't do this anymore I I simply can't take this you see why because the Bible says the hand of the Lord was Heavy upon me so I sat alone in the assembly there's a reason you're sitting alone at church while everybody's smiling you're really down you're like I can't do this I I I don't want to go to church anymore I just want to
sit at home it's not because you're not called to church it's because when God's hand is heavy on you when you feel that hand upon you it actually can cause if you don't Ste it it well it can cause all kinds of things you can be in a wonderful job and in $100,000 or $500,000 6 figure salary a year and still be totally depressed why because the Bible says Moses was in the palace but but didn't didn't desire the luxuries of the palace but much rather chose suffering among his own people that's what the hand
of God does it gets your parents to look at you like you're absolutely insane for rocking the boat of your entire family to go and follow God right it it it just sounds ludicrous but there's a word for it in in the Hebrew that's giv me great pieces called the masah now I'm not saying Everybody by the way who's who's depressive the prophet I'm saying chances are somebody actually you haven't actually come into a good school where you can be trained how to Steward the weight of God that they call it's called the Mah the
burden of the Lord when it sits on you woo it's heavy it can it can it's called the the Jeremiah said you're not actually allowed call it the burden of the Lord anymore but it was a weight it's a weight of God's hand that most prophets feel it's not an articulation it's like being pregnant with something that you can't quite explain to others you're sad but you can't tell your husband why or your wife why they're looking at you why are you so sad we're having a great time can't you just enjoy yourself this service
is amazing everybody's saying amen everyone's saying hallelujah but the only one sitting there sour faac and sitting alone in the assembly why because when God's hand is heavy upon you it's called the Mah if you don't Steward that msah well it can lead to depression it can lead to Suicide or ideation it could lead to the the the feeling of wanting to quit you know Moses said have you Mass me with the weight of all these people if that's how you're going to treat me just kill me now and what often happens is it's like
Jeremiah God puts a burden in you and then that burden has to become articulate speech it's like is raising our children you know you you have a child what what do you say to your child when they're crying you say stop crying right exactly say use your words same thing with God the mature prophets know how to turn that just feel into words you'll never find relief until you find rhetoric let me say that one more time you'll never find relief until you find rhetoric until you find the words the expression you won't find relief
Eli who actually said this to job let me speak so I can find relief I become like a bursting vent that's what the Messiah does keeps you up at night I'm telling you as a prophet it keeps you up at night because until you actually say what the Lord's told you to say or you found the expression for it you you won't have a peaceful home you won't have a peaceful marriage you won't make a peaceful spouse until you've expressed it and that's the weight of God so you got to Ste that well you're not
press you may just be a [Music] prophet
