hi I'm Carol hin and we're going to do things a little bit differently today because we've had a week the people in the south of the United States in Florida North Carolina Georgia and the surrounding states they've had a big week and I've entitled this when life becomes too big and my desire today is to share encouragement with you if you live in Florida North Carolina Georgia the surrounding area or if life has just become too big for you in your house in your business in your relationships this is for you and so I'm going
to do things just a little bit differently now on my website if you want a power pack five which we've been doing every week you can go back to number 61 all the videos are there and so there are over a no there's 65 scriptures five each week and you can study those out but today we're going to take a little different direction we'll get back to those uh Power Pack five scriptures eventually but right now I feel like this is what the Lord would have me tell you today so tough situations it can be
disheartening and it can be discouraged most recently of course Florida and I have some skin in the game because my only two siblings and their families live in Florida so I spent last week tracking them encouraging them doing what I could do for them but also praying for them because I could do that from my home in Nebraska maybe you haven't been through hurricanes and tornadoes but you've experienced a marriage that's falling apart a loss of a job or a diagnosis that's just overwhelming and too big for you my advice to you and believe me
I know what I'm talking about I know what I'm talking about my advice to you is don't spend one minute grieving over your situation we have the 30 second prayer and yes it works in the grocery store if you can't remember an ingredient that you need for dinner that evening you forgot your listed home yes you can pray the 30 second prayer and God will give you a thought you did not think he will will remind you but also when you're in the middle of a tornado a hurricane and you're not sure if your house
is still standing you've evacuated and you're not sure if your house is still standing you can pray the 30 second prayer father I commit all my emotions to you I commit my thoughts to you I commit of course this decision to you I mean this situation to you and all the decisions I'm going to have to make when I see what's going on I commit that all to you father cause my thoughts to agree with your will so I know what to do and what not to do and the minute you pray that powerful 30
second prayer and I wrote a whole book on that that powerful 30 second prayer will bring all your thoughts maybe there's a tornado going on in your head it'll bring all those thoughts down into a place of peaceful order and then you can make a wise decision and guess what God will help you do it so here's the good news no matter that is good news no matter what you're experiencing remember this God still has a good plan for you it's a Redemptive plan a plan to prosper you and bring you through through God has
a good plan even after a disaster and he wants you to know what it is he wants you to know what it is and he'll help you to know what it is this is not the time in the middle of a disaster and I'm talking to my family in Florida or wherever you are this is not the time to say God why there's plenty of time for that and in my situation six years ago I I didn't spend one second asking why I just prayed the 30 second prayer and say father I need your help
help me to make this decision I was standing in I see you and I said father I need your help I didn't question God I knew after 14 years of having a meeting with God every day I knew he was would answer me quickly and he did and I have no regrets and joy has returned to my life and he'll do the same to you in a crisis situation so don't spend time asking why you can do that later and I did but I didn't blame him but I said father what could I have done
differently and he showed me a few things that's the duty of having an intimate relationship with the Lord your our reactions should be immediately when things happen what am I going to do about this God what am I going to do where do I go from here father give me your instructions cause my thoughts to become agreeable to your will so I know what to do I'm going to read to you from the passion translation in Psalms 120 to all the way to Psalms 135 that are there are 15 chapters and the subtitles to every
one of those chapters is a song of the stairway so they were rising up they weren't slumping down they were ascending to God and I'm going to read just a few of those chapters to you just the highlight lights cuz they I promise you they will encourage you it's a song to take those psalms can take you higher and that's where we want to go when we're down on our hands and knees wondering what to do when we turn to the Psalms and and ask God to help us he I'm going to give you some
of the things that those psalms say Psalms 120 I was desperate desperate for you to help me in my struggles and you did I'm reading this from the passion translation Psalms 121 I looked up to the mountains longing for God's help but then I realized that my true help and protection is only from God Psalms 123 I look to you my god with passionate longing to please you and discover more of your mercy and Grace and you know when we're in hard times we need God's grace Psalms 124 the same God who made everything my
Creator and my mighty maker he himself is my helper and my Defender that's good to know Psalms 125 excuse me I am un shakable when I put my trust in the Lord your wraparound presence surrounds me protecting me now and forever maybe you're curled up in your bed today maybe your heart is broken today you can say those words to God I am unshakable when I put my trust in you lord your wraparound presence trust uh uh surrounds me protecting me now and forever uh Psalms 126 I've seen you work and I've seen you bring
me out of a hard place before now Lord Do It Again restore me to my former glory maybe he saying restore my property to its former glory restore my marriage to our wedding day now Lord Do It Again restore me to to my former glory cause your streams of refreshing to flow over me and here's one more and you can read all of those 15 chapters and just pick out those things take your highlighter and highlight the things because when times get tough you can grab your bible and there all the highlighters all the highlighting
is ready for you here's the last one I'm going to share with you for the sake of time Psalms 1127 if God's Grace isn't upon me I will just be wearing myself out God we need your grace praying the 30 second prayer invites God into the middle of your circumstance and as you commit the situation to him the problem to him the overwhelming circumstance to him he promises to number one give you thoughts so you know how to proceed maybe you can't even think straight he promises to establish you so you're not slipping and sliding
all over the place he promises to lead you to a place where you will smile again where you will experience Joy again Ask me ask me he's done that for me and he will cause you to be strong again yes you are on your way somewhere it doesn't matter what you're facing this minute you are on your way somewhere you are ascending above the circumstances so you can be calm before God if you've gotten to to the point in your spiritual walk where you've had a meeting with God I've been telling you about it there's
aund I think there's close to 190 videos on my website you can see the description below and I always talk about having that intimate meeting with God in a business you probably go into a company and maybe you start every day in a in a short business meeting what's the game plan you can do that for your own personal life and you can meet with God take your Bible take your Journal so you know that when you meet with him consistently he'll be waiting there for you and then practice dialoguing with him all day tell
him I don't know what to do can you help me here I'm falling apart God can you put me back together submit to him let him do all of that for you and if God has never given you auth thought you have not thought it has ever given you a thought you did not think you will recognize God entering your situation it will Dawn on you what to do it will Dawn on you don't do that it's going to cause you trouble so the 302 prayer goes like this father I commit my situation to you
please cause my thoughts to agree with your will because remember God always has a good plan he's a good God and he and good is what he does what happened in Florida he didn't have any part in that that was evil and it was destructive and it's discouraging and that's exactly what it was meant to do but we know we have an enemy in this earth life that's why we have to wrap ourselves up in God and be strong and live out this life cause my thoughts to agree with your will so I know what
