I Gave My Daughter a Trampoline Park for Her Birthday

This is the largest indoor water park in America.  And today, my daughter Salish has it all to   herself. Okay, say go do whatever you want.

This  whole place is yours. Go, go, go, go, go. It's   your place.

Go. I want to go to it. Salishe it,  Salishe it.

Salish thinks that birthday parties   are boring and so she's never had one. But in 2  weeks, she turns 16 and I want to throw her the   best birthday party ever. To convince Salish that  birthday parties actually are fun.

I'm taking her   to three epic locations and then at the end of  the day, she's going to have to pick one of them   to have her sweet 16 birthday parties. Yeah,  let's go. That was so scary.

In each location,   she'll have to complete challenges before she gets  to see what her birthday parties would actually   look like there. But for now, let's have fun. How  was that?

But before  you do that, you've got to do five of the scariest   rides in the water park. But don't worry, I'll  do some of them with you. So if you're scared,   you can hold my hand.

Say, imagine having a birthday party here.   This would be sick, right? Yeah, it actually would  be really cool.

I'm having so much fun right now.   Well, wait till the end of all the rides. You're  going to have even more fun.

Say, I can't keep  up with you. Obviously, you're excited. Yeah,   we have to do the scariest rides at the park.

This  is one of the scariest lemur leap, but it only has   a fear factor of one. Each ride is going to get  scarier. I'm like legit scared.

What the freak? Even  though I'm freaking out right now,   I know that this is going to prove  to Salish that birthday parties are   actually really fun. That was scary.

This is nothing compared to what we have to face  later today. I'm not doing that again. I just hope   all those rides will make her realize that her  birthday party will be awesome.

When I was 16,   a birthday party at Water Park would have been  pretty cool. It was so bad. He was so scared,   but I got great.

When we finished at the water park  and you've done all the challenges, you're   going to have a birthday party with a birthday  present. Okay. Any idea what that might be?

It's awesome, though. This   next ride is Drgon and Donkey. It's a fear level  four and I have no idea what it does.

We have the  water park all to ourselves. And if you pick this   as your party, you'll have it all to yourselves  with your friends. That sounds so cool.

Not only do you have to climb the stairs, but  you got to wait with the people. For us today,   there's no people watch. This is so awesome.

This  is Shrek's sinkhole slammer, and this is Fear   Factor 5. But you remember how you missed Fear  Factor 2 and you lost to me in the race? Yeah.

So,   that means you're going to have to do one more  ride after this if you complete this. Okay. And   this one, your challenge is you cannot  scream.

Okay. Finally, backwards again. Why are you so scared?

I thank God it's over  for me. That's my final ride. But Salish,   that's one more.

Last time you did it, you thought it wasn't   that bad. Yeah, but that was not a straight  down. Don't look down.

Oh my gosh. Okay. say,   "I'm sorry to say you have to do this, but because  you lost round two, this is the jungle jammer and   is the world's longest indoor drop slide.

" Are  you sure you don't want to do it? I'm positive   I don't want to do it. You do this and then you  go have your birthday party and your present and   then we go on to the next attraction.

Years ago,   Salish and nidal to try a similar ride. I need a  doll up here to support me. Girl power, maybe.

I'm   not so sure. Wait, I don't know if I want to.  But now she's going to do it all by herself.

That was not that bad. So much  water going against me. Like it dropped and   then I was fine.

You know, now I just have the  birthday party. So now I'm pretty excited. Okay,   so that was fun, right?

The first challenge is you got to ride this   whole this whole ride and not spill any water.  Dad, that's not possible. The line of the water   is right here.

I've been on it one time before. But it's fine  because if it spills, it's going right on to you.   Oh, no it's not because I won't be here.

So, we're going to do  a different challenge. If Salish thinks this is   hard, just wait until she has to ride the steepest  roller coaster in the entire world. Salish has to   keep doing challenges on this roller coaster  until she gets one that passes next round.  

But wouldn't this be fun if you had all your  friends back here? This would be a pretty cool   next challenge. You have to use your phone to take  a selfie that you're willing to post on Instagram.

And  your challenge is you have to call your brother   Hudson and have a conversation with him and don't  give away that you're on a ride. That means you   can't scream or sound weird in any way. How am I  supposed to do that?

If he knows you're on a ride,   you automatically lose this challenge. All  right, let's do it. Good luck.

And then you get to see   your birthday party. Let's do it. Hey, say I know  you're super scared.
