so about over a year ago I did a video about Deli Ali updating on where he was at his part of his life before is very popular overlap interview with Gary Neville and in that interview as we all know I'm sure you've seen if you haven't then go see that I think it's important to know and it's been honestly very quiet since that interview of the updates of De Aly and because of the fact that I almost feel some kind of responsibility that I kind of gave a sort of a view about how his career
was going in some of a negative way not to potentially dig at him of course but just to give the reality of what was happening to his career at a time and I still as a person I I I feel some way about that and of course clearly of you know you guys probably know the update my personal life you probably never really know what's actually happening behind the scenes so to give a recap of Del Alli and kind of what's happened to this point so of course as you know about Del Alli rolls up
for the ranks at MK Dons made a name for himself and got that big move to toam hotsa and for multiple Seasons having fantastic fastic campaigns becoming one of the Premier League's rising stars and became a big part of the England national team as well now in his latter years at Spurs he had many issues with mainly injuries and form and maybe different sort of cohesions and tactics with certain managers at a time Jose Mourinho for one sadly and of course as you all know that infamouse interview with the all the enough in totenham hotsa
about Juno having that kind of onetoone Heart to Heart of De Ali and when most people think about Del Ali now they think about that clip and I think that is unfortunate and getting a move over to Everton and then again not playing too much due to more injury he then went over to basas and then didn't particularly do amazing over there as well and then came out the interview with Gary Neville with the overlap going into his own personal battles and what it's really been like for him and it was very heartfelt and I
can't lie I felt awful when I do these videos I never do it to particularly dig out a player it's to give just the reality outside perspective of what's been going on but again that's the key thing it is an outside perspective and I always try to be very fair and 50/50 of everything I say to give the good and the bad as well I never like to be all one side but in this precise matter I do want to give an update on how Del Alli is doing so please comment down below your thoughts
to Del Ali he is at the age of 28 and as it currently stands he is a free agent however he is still training at Finch farm at Everton football club which is very kind of Everton to do that the response by footballers fans on social media has been fantastic and most importantly Everton football club as well with the fans creating banners offering support and Sh support for Del Ali which I think is fantastic comment down below your thoughts on where do you think Del Ali may be in the next year or so as he
is only 28 and like subscribe and M designs for the best football prints all made by myself oh yeah and 177% off all items used called Halloween and let's get into daily the alley [Music] summer of 2024 has been a summer of complete uncertainty for Deli Alli largely because his contract will be running out and as it stands it did run out back in June and kind of into July as well the main issue lied with the contract that he sign with Tom hota led to some Clause agreements in there meaning that Everton who already
are in pretty dire Financial Straits would have to pay ton mser a good sum of money if he triggered those closes however despite him still training at Everton football club because he's not actually got a contract he's not able to play any competitive minutes at any level not even under 21s even though he's being tra like he's a still contracted Everton player and he's still um using the facilities which right now he has got an injury so right now I don't believe he's playing too much football as he's just still recovering which is very kind
at Everton it does mean that right now as far as we're aware he's not being paid from a contract cuz we believe it should end at the end of July now in terms of publicly the only thing we got from Instagram from De Ali is some Naruto anime like animation which is pretty cool actually but then that was back in the early August and then on the fourth of July some pictures of him on the grass training again not with any club just training I guess individual private training which is cool however that is again
3 months ago now it has been since February 2023 since the last time Dey Ali has played any football like any football and it's been a long journey back for him due to all these consecutive injuries that he's been receiving and we did receive an update back in August about late August about him training with the Everton team and that there was predicted that he could be actually back in Action potentially part of our first team squad or at least in the under 21s around early September obviously we're now in mid- October so what's happened
there well Shawn D in oppressor came out out with a question from Del Alli saying the following revealing that juny sessions with the first team squad he picked up a quote unquote slipback which delayed his return to further Fitness quote he's just making sure that he's right he's had a little bit of a slip back with his Fitness so he is just in that Total Recovery period he's been out that long it's just about making sure everything is right now of course as a Burnley fan that of course has had sh Dash as a manager
I know how he works he would not bring a player back nowhere near even being close to being fit you've got to be D fit you've got to be ready to go through brick walls so the idea of Del Ali playing for sha d as Everton is for for me almost impossible to think of unless if we're on about next season completely because right now there is still the hope that Everton would be open to offering him a contract however due to their financial situations of course they can't just give away a contract willly nilly
they've got to make sure this is actually an asset for the team to help the club there's one little detail that's important to add though which I don't know if it's really that relevant here however there was a clause which meant that Everton had to all Spurs about 10 million if Deli Ali reaches 20 appearances for Everton now because that contract is now over you that that expired if they announc on a new contract you'd imagine that that would no longer be valid you'd imagine so so I don't think that should now be a factor
of him signing a new contract with Everton if that did come to a situation however it does appear that Spurs are kind of still pushing for that if that's possible or not I don't know and the last thing we heard from daily Ali at all which I believe is from his Sky Sports appearance that he's got a notification on his phone each time that counts down each day to World Cup 2026 which I mean fair enough that is some aim to go for it is important to say that the probably won't be the same play
that he was before that type of agility and balance you would get from a typical number 10 now that he's now 28 his body would have definitely changed since that time so what kind of player would Deli Ali be I'm not fully too sure as players typically get older they go into deeper and deeper positions due to them not being as agile or fast as he once was now he's not old by any means but because of his injuries you'd imagine that he would be off the pace compared to what he used to be as
a typical number 10 but I do like to see a world where he has a kind of comeback similar to let's say a Ross Barkley where where he also was kind of downplayed and rough off basically and took a a humble transfer going to Luton Town for Ross bar seen as a bit of a downstep after his time at France and now he's back at Aston Villa beaten Bayern Munich in the Champions League in football things could happen quite fast it's just what role would Del Alli now be playing in that's now the main question
so that is the update on Del Alli and of course a little segment here in terms of how people guess talk and like interact with footballers and kind of how they like respond to them online of course we saw Brennan Johnson which is absolutely on fire for Spurs right now and he closed off his Instagram and all that now I can see a good amount of people on one side of the argument just think what a bunch of nonsense who gives who cares it's only social media close her eyes whatever and I get that completely
however I do think it's important and valid that most these footballers in the top level most them are quite young you know in the early 20 18s 19s so again I think just to kind of say close your eyes it doesn't matter is you know I get why people may say that I just think that it's just quite naive and in the future for myself my own real retrospective look on things I always try to aim on trying to give a fair argument for every single player or club that I do and I hope that
I've come across that way and especially when it comes to people when I've done videos about for football YouTubers or podcasters I always try to be fair and if I am maybe a little bit more or like needly with one or two other people usually I know of them and usually I know that that's kind of like a thing that they are just used to and they they kind of expect and they can deal with um but that's something that I always try to kind of find a a a healthy balance with but yeah that's
just my own perspective on that but this is the update on Del Alli and my in my own opinion can I see him playing football in Premier League in in the near future I personally don't think he will but I think it is fair to say that he could make play football overseas I think somewhere in France or Syria I I think that's not really a bad choice and I think he may actually enjoy that actually you know a bit of Sona a bit of just different culture I mean the world is oyer right he's
only 28 so if he can take this season to completely get back up to speed but a start of 25 26 he could be there available and sign for a new club and I really hope that he could find somewhere that he can call home and actually play some football again cuz I think after the last what 3 years it's been now dead alley I hope he gets that at least so comment down below your thoughts like And subscribe and I'll see you guys next time see you
