hey guys what's going on welcome back to my channel if you're new here hi how are you normally on my channel i do embroidery htv and dtg but i just recently got to the epson f570 submission printer and i am loving it so in today's video i'm going to be trying to celebrate t-shirts for the first time so so far all that i've submitted are tumblers as you've seen this is the two most recent ones i made just testing it out still obviously has things to learn i've had this up and running for what three
days now um so first time doing shirts i'm gonna be using aj blank's sublimation shirts um making a shirt for riley and roman my two children um see how they turn out i know a few things i've watched liz from copy powered homes video i've seen a few things that um ashley from country monogram has embroidered not embroidered has sublimated she put this really cute shirt off so she did like 385 degrees for 60 seconds so i'm gonna try that out and see how the colors look if i'm liking it and if i don't then
i'll just change to 400 degrees for the second shirt so try it out see how it goes we never know hey but yeah super excited to try this and if you're excited for this video please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to the channel so um i have a video premiering in about 10 minutes which is the video on the tumblr so i'm gonna try to multitask between the videos alright so i'm gonna go ahead and open photoshop and open the design i just bought from etsy it is a png file um i
do use the color profile adobe 1998 1998 1988 something like that um it gives me the best print colors that match for my epson f570 sublimation printer um so this is a little bit bigger than what i like for a three t-shirt so i'm making it a little bit smaller by adjusting the width and height just so that it fits okay on the two two or three time and decided which size i make for my son yet hit okay and i'm just going to go ahead and drag and drop it onto this 24 by 10
inch uh canvas that i do have because i have the 24 inch roll on my uh epson at 570 sublimation printer now i'm going to go ahead and choose the next design which is for my daughter's shirt um this one is a little bit big as well i wasn't sure what size to make i'm used to embroidery which everything is eight by eight but with the sublimation printer i can do pretty much any size so i'm gonna go ahead and make it about um 10 inches wide or tall whatever and let it make it like
proportional and i'm gonna drag it and drop it on the same canvas that i have the other design on um move it down just a little bit to make sure it's not getting cut off at all and then all we do from here is print these are the settings that i use to get the best print quality um my printer is obviously the epson sc500 i move the design only to the bottom and i like to make sure that it is purpose textile paper because it is a shirt and not a cup if it's a
cup you do rigid then when i go to the print settings and i go to the print settings option and i need to change that as well so that it matches and i like my level to be max quality with a fine detail and that's pretty much it for here i leave all this the same you can like pause the video if you need to see the exact settings um and i also want to make sure photoshop manages the colors and then i'm gonna click print [Music] all right so here are the prints i feel
like this might be big a little big but it's a size 12 shirt so we'll see if it's too big or not and then this seems like smaller than i thought um this is for roman sheppard again he's i'm tripping but he's he's only um size two two or three two so i'm just cut straight down the middle and then tear the edges as liz says because you better not be setting me up i mean i'm just ruining this i'm never my life she says you tear them so that you don't get the the lines
the straight lines from the transfer so we'll see [Music] practice with my children first before i sell stuff and obviously this sonic design is not for sales it's just for my child because he is obsessed with sonic and i got both of these designs off of etsy now this is the one i'm concerned about let's cut too close i should have spaced them out some more [Music] oh no don't do that that was a close call how am i [Music] supposed [Music] see this is for those that are skilled skills i never never done this
and yes you can save this i don't i don't have the sheets i only have the rolls of transfer paper so technically a normal person wouldn't be just you know hoping this i could really use this but i'm still in the trial phase of trying to figure out what i'm doing so yes i know it's a little bit wasteful but i'm trying to figure this out for now and then i want to become a pro like liz and ashley [Music] and sally then we will see i'm gonna do that lint all over this all right
i'm very curious to see how the glitter effect turn it out alright so here we have our shirt and i know we need to put butcher paper on the inside [Applause] [Applause] and you're putting this on the inside so that the sublimation ink doesn't go through to the other side at least that's what liz said [Applause] hopefully i'm doing this right all right and then i know obviously we're going to need some heat transfer tape heat resistant tape i mean um and i got this off amazon it's linked below and then of course you need
a lint brush i'm going to start with a fresh roll and you need to lint roll lint roll and lint roll like a thousand times anywhere that is going to be touching the heat press just the whole shirt so just let roll and even if you don't see limps it's there i promise so if you don't let roll enough then you will get blue dots on your shirts so if you press the shirts and you have blue specks and blue things that's because you haven't rolled enough just see like i don't know if you can
see how much lint is on here and you can't even see it on the shirt so i use two full sheets taking this off i'm using another sheet two full sheets anywhere that's going to be touching the plus and not doing this whole shirt for that to bleed blue dots on it alright now let's transfer well no we could put the transfer on so um this one's easy because it's just a sonic so i'm just gonna put it here another one here i guess that's good i never made this in my life so we can
go heat it so the heat press is set to 300 it says 84 35 i'm hoping this doesn't mess up like legitimately seriously hoping this doesn't get messed up but all right how much time five minutes oh shoot you know what i need to put butch paper on here first please hold which paper so my press doesn't get messed up and then the design the shirt i mean and then another piece of butch paint all right that should be good and then i'm wrong whatever see [Applause] let's move fast one two three there's still so
much ink on this oh my god it is more vibrant than i thought it was going to be oh this is hot liz how do you lift this how do you lift this all right oh my thing's burning guys look at the colors oh my gosh it's like super super super vibrant oh my goodness now i see people obsessed with sublimation holy moly that's amazing let me take this piece of burnt butch paper [Applause] and haha i don't see any blue specks so that is so cool and our shirts have like when they're pressed it's
like a silkyish finish i'm not explaining it but that is so cool roman's gonna be obsessed with this but my premiere stream is starting so i'll be back after i'm done with that all right premiere is over so now let's start with a riley shirt put your paper in between so that the gas the ink doesn't go through both sides all right and then we left all right now the design my machine um mirrors my images i don't have to worry about mirroring them all right let's go put it on the heat press it's not
crooked that's my thing i don't know we'll find out heat for 60 seconds it all fast like oh this is crooked rip it off fast like a band-aid oh my gosh was it to be that bright oh my goodness i did not this is totally crooked but i didn't think it was going to be this bright look how bright this is oh my goodness i did not at all expect it to be so like it's like a fuchsia holy crap it's what it looks like wow wow wow that's crazy i got some lint on here
but it's not blue so what is it it's lint though i don't know i saw it on the transfer before so whatever it's for riley but it's super cute i'm gonna give roman his shirt i wanna know what he says so here's a better view of riley's her birthday's in like three months and here's a better view of romans like the colors are just crazy to me like that's that's that's very very vibrant that's so cool that is so cool like super cool well that is it for today's video i'm sure it was pretty quick
quicker than i thought i thought you know it was gonna be a little bit harder than this just to be honest but once you watch a lot of videos i guess you just figure out what you gotta do in the process um i see why a lot of people do sublimation because the time it takes you to make a shirt is like nothing like compared to embroidery it's it's literally you have a shirt you print it and you heat it for 60 seconds so like start to finish i think e sure is maybe like four
minutes that's it and like if i can like put a bunch of designs and like before i go to bed or like when i'm getting the kids ready just push print i come up here they already done printing all i got to do is just cut rip heat and i'm done like that's just i see why y'all do sublimation wow wow wow wow that is so cool that is so cool well thank you guys so much for watching if you did enjoy this video please give it a thumbs up and consider subscribing to the channel
we're trying to get to 200 000 subscribers don't know when we're like 184 000 um so it's march so hopefully by the end of the year we can get to 200 000 hopefully so yeah thank you guys and i'll see you the next one bye [Music] you
