[Music] until you have had the taste of finishing you will not respect yourself until you follow through until something is done tears and struggles and pain and you go through it anyway and you show up and you continue to fight on no matter the circumstances after a while something begins to wither inside of you every Champion has felt it every president has felt it every King has felt it every lion has felt it every winner has felt it every Soldier has felt it every Victorious person has felt it the urge to quit don't you give
up on your dream I don't care if you don't have the money and you don't have the help and you don't have the family for it and you don't have the background for it and you don't have the friends for it don't you give up on your dream don't you do it don't you do it don't you do it it may take you twice as long you may have to take courses and classes you might not read as fast you might not move as quick you might not have as much but don't you quit don't
you quit don't you quit you do make a difference you do make a difference you do make a difference as weak as you are as tired as you are as many mistakes as you made you do make a difference there is something they would lose if you were not there there was something that they would miss if you were not there you do make a difference you do make a difference I would rather aim for the stars and not hit them than to not aim at all I would rather go after it and not get
it than not go after it at all I'd rather try and fail than not try at all I don't want to live with the idea wonder what would have happened had I done more with my life I'm going to go for it come hell or have water I'm going after my [Music] destiny I lost a lot of stuff I lost a lot of friends I lost a lot of strength I lost a lot of Courage I lost a lot of time I lost a lot of money but I was still believing broke I was believing
lonely I was believing betrayed I was [Music] believing get up and get busy get busy making things happen you don't stop because you feel that this is all you have left you keep going you keep working at it no this is not it get up keep going do something with your life you must visualize the steps that lead you to the thing that you want it's your turn there's nothing wrong you don't owe nobody nothing it's it's your turn you shouldn't feel guilty it's your turn it's your time you blessed everybody else you said everybody
else for Success you compromise you for them and look where you are it's time for you number one thing that's going to change your life the only thing that will change your life change your business change change your money change your relationship is you must raise your standard there's a way out here somewhere there's a solution what it is that you're seeking that you have the capacity to whatever comes up to handle it to face it and rather than feeling powerless you begin to feel powerful the only thing that changes our life long term is
when we raise our standards that all of us in life have things we want we don't get what we want we get what we have to have some of you are not successful because every single time you run up against a trial every time you run up against a tribulation you stop stop complaining and do me a favor if you want to make a difference all you got to do is one thing this is how you get started you want something different listen to me all you got to do is make a decision that's it
and for those of you who been making the wrong decision all you got to do is make the right decision but if you want to make a difference make a decision are you hear what I'm telling you how you address it is you face it you face it every day you face it every single day of your life where you say okay like if you're fat and need to lose weight it's patience it's patience in this fact of accepting who you are right now I'm fat I don't like myself excep in the fact if you
lose three or four pounds that's a huge accomplishment you have to live in your own world you cannot judge yourself that's why social media all these things are horrible you can't judge yourself off of the so-called competition that we have made up in our mind the things that how people look how people act how smart someone is this is a race that you run completely alone sometimes you have to do what you don't want to do so you can live like you want to live all right so do me a favor like count the cost
so if it's going to help you reach your goal even if you don't like it do it [Music] anyway if you want to live a life that has meaning and value in a sense of direction spend as much time as you possibly can to answer the question why am I here [Music] I'm telling you right now if you are going to birth your dream your calling your passion and the second half of your life you can't draw back when life gets tough you've got to stand up to it and push do do you have the
courage to act outwardly on what you see inwardly or will you die dreamer will you die on the verge and on the edge and on in the land of Coulda would have and should have it takes courage to be successful it is far easier not to be successful misery will always have company success breeds contempt if you don't want to make waves be mediocre be normal and fit in and if you're more concerned about people than you are God then neutralize everything he put in you just fit in with everybody else dress like them walk
like them act like them eat like them go where they go think like they think do what they do and once youve neutralize your unique you don't need courage it takes courage to be different it takes courage to go where you've never gone before for some of you it took courage to come to this conference it takes courage to get you outside of the bo it takes courage to be successful it takes courage to win people don't talk about people that don't win if you win they're going to talk about you do you have the
courage to stand there till the storms keep raging and the people get to talking and you stand there and say I've come too far to turn around do you have the [Music] courage there's no losing there's no failure and there's no problems only solutions so to me what failure is failure is the mother of all success if it wasn't for Michael Jordan getting cut from his ninth grade basketball team he wouldn't have became Michael Jordan see if you're always winning then you don't really understand what it is the win you you got to take those
losses you got to take those hits there's got to be the valleys the Peaks the UPS the Downs it's never about making it guys it's always about maintaining it be excited about your destiny so that you can endure the process that brings you into promise because there is a process before promise and if you don't have at least a vision of the promise the process will discourage you it takes courage to be exceptional it takes courage to be wise it takes courage to be rich it takes courage to be educated it takes courage to be
knowledgeable it takes courage and I'm just wondering in this weak watered down mediocre society that we live in today in this reality TV world we live in today I'm wondering if there's anybody left that's got the courage to say after all I've been through and all my ancestors have been through and all my parents have been through I didn't come through all of that just to fit in with Nory I have the courage to go after my dream do you have the [Music] parents let me tell you something you already know the world ain't all
sunshine and rainbows it's a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are it will beat you to your KNE and keep you there permanently if you let it you me or nobody is going to hit as hard as life but it ain't about how hard you hit it's about how hard you can get hit and keep moving forward how much you can take and keep moving forward that's how win it is done don't allow your emotions to control you we are emotional but you want to begin to discipline your emotion
if you don't discipline and contain your emotions they will use you whatever experience you're having right now it has not come to stay it has come to pass not to stay just to pass it's just going through the time is now the time is now to express and for people to believe in themselves the time is now for it to be okay to be great if you want to begin to move into your own personal greatness if you want to begin to really enjoy a happy successful healthy life you've got to be willing to go
against the tith you've got to be willing to harness your will and say in spite of this I'm in control here I'm not going to let this get me down I'm not going to let this destroy me I'm coming back and I'll be stronger and better because of it you have got to make a declaration that this is what you stand for you're standing up for your dreams you're standing up for peace of mind you're standing up for health you want it and you're going to go all out to have it it's not going to
be easy when you want to change it's not easy if it were in fact easy everybody would do it but if you serious you go all [Music] out but like I always say life is 10% what happens to you it's 90% what you do about it the first step is getting completely and brutally honest enough to say I am tired of myself when you say I'm sick and tired or being sick and tired that's the facilitator of change that's when you're ready to say these words no more excuses no more excuses I believe that self-discipline
is the definition of selflove that when you say that you love yourself that means that you have Behavior towards yourself that is loving it's like you say to yourself hey man look I know you want to eat that pizza and it'll be really good you know but I love you too much to let you eat that and I think the word discipline has kind of gotten a bad name we think about it in terms of punishment I'm not I'm not talking about discipline in that way I'm talking about discipline in the sense that you you
forgo immediate pleasure for the exchange of long-term self-respect if you find your passion you're going to have this tremendous energy it's sustainable energy but momentum requires you always do the next thing to keep the momentum going and the reason you get yourself in a passionate in place is so that you change your life and the only thing that changes your life is making a decision so while you're in this passionate State that's where you make decisions a decision is the first step decision is like a war I got to do this or that all right
I'm going to make myself do this but commitment is when you now after you've decided you commit to do this for the long term whether it's hard or easy doesn't matter you're doing this it takes it from this moment and it carries it in the future even when things are difficult the only way that commitment and the energy and the momentum continues is if you take immediate Massive Action is the Cure All if you're having a difficult time with something your relationship isn't where you want it to be your finances are not where you want
to be your body's not where you want to be your business is not where it want to be you need to take Massive Action and if that doesn't work try something else if that work try something else keep going with massive action and you will find the way because it will give you [Music] momentum I don't want to be an icon I want to be an idea you know I want to represent an idea I want to represent possibilities I want to represent magic right you're in a universe and 2 + 2 equals 4 2
plus 2 only equals 4 if you accepted 2 plus 2 equals 4 2 plus 2 is going to be what I want it to be there's a a Redemptive power that making a choice has you know rather than feeling like you're effect to all the things that are happening make a choice like you just decide what it's going to be who you're going to be how you're going to do it just decide and then from that point the universe is going to get out your way a person's strengths are often their biggest weaknesses and so
that also means that their weaknesses can be their strengths so me I am weak in all those ways that I listed I am weak but I don't accept that I don't accept that I am what I am and that that is what I'm doomed to be no I don't accept that I'm fighting I'm always fighting I'm struggling and I'm scrapping and I'm kicking and clawing at those weaknesses to change them stop them some days I will some days I don't but each and every day I get back up and I move forward with my fists
clenched toward the battle toward the struggle and I fight with everything I've got to overcome those weaknesses and those shortfalls and those flaws as I strive to be just a little bit better today than I was [Music] yesterday the only thing that I can see can never really look at yourself the only thing that I see that is distinctly different about me is I'm not afraid to die on a tread note I will not be outworked period you know you might have more Talent than me you might be smarter than me you might be sexier
than me you might be all of those things you got it on me in nine categories but if we get on the treadmill right there's two things you're getting off first or I'm going to die it's really that simple right so let's go back to the question about what if people block me out it's there going to be two options yeah I'm going to get back in or I'm going to be dead you're not going to outwork me it's a it's a very it's such a simple basic concept is the the guy who is willing
to hustle the most is going to be the guy that just gets that loose ball the commodity that I see the majority of people who aren't getting the places they want or aren't achieving the things that that they want in this business is strictly based on hustle it's strictly based on being out workor it's strictly based on missing crucial opportunities I say all the time if you stay ready you ain't got to get ready everything you're going through is preparing you for what you ask God for you just got to quit tripping while you in
the process because the process is necessary you may not see it now but when he get you on the other side of it you're going to see exactly why it went that way and you going to be okay with it but quit tripping during the process oh Lord why me you ain't the only one oh Lord why me you ain't the only one oh Lord why I lose my job you ain't the only one unemployed oh Lord why he leave me you ain't you ain't first chick got left this might this might not even be
your last time getting left pull yourself together and quit tripping cuz you in the process God is processing you he ain't through with you if he was through with you you would not wake up in the morning he going to fix it it's a simple process the only reason I'm telling you this cuz this how I made it I just do me I I'm just being me I stay uniquely who I am because you are okay just the way you are because you God Made You uniquely who you are he wanted you to be just
like you [Applause] are take ownership take extreme ownership don't make excuses don't blame any other person or any other thing get control of your ego don't hide your delicate Pride from the truth take ownership of everything in your world the good and the bad take ownership of your mistakes take ownership of your shortfalls take ownership of your problems and then take ownership of the solutions that will get those problems solved you're never ever ever ever going to feel like doing the things you need to do in order to have what you want one of the
things I have realized and and many of us have if you want something out of life if you want to change yourself if you want to acquire something if there's some goal that you want to reach that is really not easy as some people will make us feel that living your dream changing your behaviors overcoming negative habits it's challenging it's hard that living alone is just very difficult and once we begin to come to grips with the fact that living is difficult life is very challenging so how do we begin to nurture that hunger what
are the characteristics or the qualities of people that are hungry what will it take for me to get some of the things that I want and being hungry for those things number one you've got to work on yourself it's very important that you engage in an ongoing process to develop you spend more time on yourself than what you've been spending take ownership of your mission take ownership of your job of your team of your future and take ownership of your life and lead lead lead yourself and your team and the people in your life life
lead them all to Victory you're always going to need to push yourself you're always going to need to parent yourself unless you understand that you've got to parent yourself you got to push yourself you're not going to make your dreams come true you're just not we're not wired that way you weren't born that way you weren't that way when you were gone up and you're certainly not that way as an adult and there's a tremendous amount of Liberation that comes when you accept the fact that you're always going to need to give yourself a push
it's very important you owe that to yourself many of us never realize our greatness because we become sidetracked by secondary activity because you are creating your own production you are the star of your show you are the director you're writing the script and you will determine whether your life is you determine that working on yourself talking to yourself that's so very important the Bible says he who loves to sleep and the folding of hands poverty will set upon you like a thief in the night what you you got to do to get the life that
God want you to have take yourself out your comfort zone if you stay in your comfort zone that's why you will fail action is the foundation key to all success get this concept in your mind first you accept the fact that failure is an event it's not a person that yesterday really did end last night and today is a brand new day God divided your life into 24-hour modules because that's all you could stand optimism is the foundation of success say that with me optimism is the foundation of success back to the statement if you
think you can you can if you think you won't you really won't secondly you need to understand that you are what you are and where you are because you think like you think when you change your thinking you change your action and when you change your actions you change your future change your thought life and you change your world so the question is what are you putting into your mind the old computer phrase garbage in garbage out stop watching 8 hours of toxic television fake News why do you want to torment yourself with that [Music]
garbage everything is impossible until someone does it think about that men couldn't fly for centuries until the right Brothers in 1903 completed the first controlled hour power flight in k k Kittyhawk North Carolina and they flew for about 1 minute in a contraption that no one would get in today but because they broke the thought barrier now you can fly around the world on any airplane you want to [Music] we celebrate Warriors we enjoy the winter we're irritated and frustrated with the whiner and who can use a wimp each of them have earned the title
but each of them have this thing in common they earned the title based upon how they responded to struggle how can we Crown someone a champion unless we've seen them struggle and overcome to be a winner how would we know the Valor and courage of a warrior unless he's endured the adversity of the battle how do you know what the wimp is until you see them put their faith in fear and ignore a problem hoping somebody else is going to solve it the reason that I choose these four characters is because I believe that they
all have something in common with each and every one of us and that is in this life you will have struggle turn on the news and all you're going to hear them report on is struggle there's the global conflict the economic conflict the political conflict there's all kinds of struggles Great and Small in this world some of you in this place today are struggling with questions that you need an answer to and you don't know where to turn others of you are struggling with needs and you're not sure how they're going to be provided for
others of You Are struggling with problems that you're certain are too big for you to solve in this life there is going to be struggle and when they come what will you do what role will you play will you engage like the warrior will you complain like the Wier will you ignore it like the wimp or will you be what God created you to be which is the winner you were bought with the blood of Jesus Christ so that you could stand in this Sanctuary today and declare I am more than a conqueror through Christ
who gives me strength most of this generation quits the second they get talked to you did this wrong you did this wrong or or they get yelled at it's so easy to me to to be great nowadays cuz everybody else is most people are weak this this is a soft generation so if you have any mental toughness if you have any fraction of self-discipline the ability to not want to do it but still do it people have a a hard thing understand I hate to run and and what makes me so crazy why do you
run if you hate it I don't want to take showers and eat either I hate that too that's life man it wasn't until I changed that mentality that I became somebody I hated going to school so guess what I was dumb as but if you can get through to do things that you hate to do on the other side is greatness
