the tension was unbearable old grievances resurfaced but in the quiet months of caring for their mother they began to reconnect one evening as they prepared dinner together Tom looked at Lena and chuckled remember when we used to argue over who got the last piece of cake Lena laughed yeah and you always cheated they both knew they would never be the same as before but perhaps this was a chance to bury the hatchet and start fresh family feuds now let's have a look at three Advanced Expressions at odds with someone is in conflict with someone Lena
had spent years at odds with her older brother fullblown is like intense a petty argument had escalated into a fullblown feud and bur the hatchet is to end a conflict and reconcile or make up perhaps this was a chance to bury the hatchet and start fresh all right well done for getting this far first of all you're over halfway through the video and that was the third out of five short stories now the penultimate One Number Four The Magic of the big screen and this of course is related to cinema mark had always loved movies
but nothing compared to the first time he set foot in an old-fashioned Cinema The Velvet seats the scent of freshly popped popcorn and the grand red curtains made him feel like he had stepped back in time as the lights dimmed and the opening credits rolled he became lost in the moment forgetting everything else the film was a masterpiece every shot meticulously crafted every word of dialogue brimming with meaning when the credits rolled he sat still unable to move it was as if he had been transported to another world for 2 hours and now he was
reluctantly returning to reality from that day forward Mark knew that Cinema was more than entertainment it was magic beautiful again let's go over three Expressions to step back in time is to feel like you are experiencing the past the red curtains made him feel like he had stepped back in time lost in the moment is to be fully absorbed in what you are doing and transported to another world he became lost in the moment is to feel like you have left reality and you've entered another realm it was as if he had been transported to
