all right guys so I'm not going to show you all of this workout cuz I'm with a client right now uh but what you just saw right there was squats I think it was 120 for a double worked my way up to 140 for a double uh and then played around with the chains new addition to my gym so what that's going to do is uh make the top part of the motion harder and what we were doing before was a pulsating spots so you literally only go half rep uh and that works on the

about this topic a lot but it gets asked so much that I thought I might as well do an Instagram post about it a blog post about it and a YouTube video about it so yeah let's get into this I am in such a great mood [Music] today all right guys so just finished up with a client got my pre-workout here I think today we're going to go for a 190 pull for a single um conventional and then just hit a bunch of back volume so let's jump into it [Music] now [Music] Mario got your
[Music] back all right guys just hit 170 so looked back at it looked okayish went a bit slow which has bit disappointing I think I'm going to go for 185 rather than 190 um you know it's just about knowing knowing myself I guess and knowing what I'm capable of I'm really not going for a heavy session today it's more hypertrophy so 185 is what we're going to work with today still getting pretty close to the end of the bar though I mean they had no more 20 plates so had to start using 15s and then
move on but come on I'm getting pretty close [Music] all right guys so failed 185 good thing I didn't go for 190 or that would have been really embarrassing um one thing that I used to be really really good at doing is hyping myself up and getting really mentally into the Zone when I was running the conjugate program I could seriously get myself hyped I just block out everything and it would be like tunnel vision nowadays it's a bit different which is kind of disappointing um I don't know it's just like I'm not as confident
even like deadlift I don't care if it's 100 kilos or like 190 kilos like I always thought I was going to hit the deadlift always I never thought I'd fail a deadlift and I did I I I had never failed a deadlift until pretty recently so guys that's pretty disappointing but um you know I guess we move on to the rest of this workout do a bit of hypertrophy and get out of here purchase this track [Music] today purchase this track [Music] today I've always had it pretty easy the three things I'm best at legs

wrap my thumb around I just wrap it stess like that um and you just feel the contraction a lot better so give it a go next time you're doing back let's jump back into [Music] this Mario got your back purchased this track [Music] today apart from the deadlift as like an accessory isolation movement this has to be just like my favorite exercise seriously guys try it make sure you really lean back um and twist superate in as you uh as you come down much in my opinion much nicer contraction then uh pull down give it
a go and let me know how you find it let's get back into the workout [Music] Mario got your [Music] back all right guys so just got home finished up my workout I'll be honest it really wasn't that great but here's the thing guys I don't care about the good workouts look guys the [ __ ] workouts the workouts like today are where I learn where I can improve where I can analyze and see what I did and make sure I never do it again and you know obviously it's not straight trajectory not every session
is going to be amazing especially when you're filming but there's a couple takeaways and number one that's I'm going into a workout mentally I need to dial in I need to go to another place and number two guys I feel as though I'm hitting a plateau and one thing that I sto doing is tracking my weight I would track my weight every Sunday morning you know first thing in the morning and you know see my progression I'm not doing that now guys I haven't done that for like 2 months and that's ridiculous how the hell
am I me to quantify my My Success my progression you know it's not even like I'm taking progress picks I I've got nothing to compare against so guys that's my bad you know that's something I got to work on uh and I think I'm actually going to go right now to check out my weight so let's do that all right guys so we are weighing in at 79.5 kilos with let's see what my body fat uh 14% body fat right now so I'll be honest guys to me that is pretty bad news I think the
last time I tracked I was at like 80.5 so I think I've actually either lost muscle or my water retention right now is really really low I'll have to check my stats again but I'm going to start tracking from now and I'm going to get back on course mark my words I need you guys to understand that pretty much everything I say is just me relaying stuff I'm a sponge I soak it all in and then I relay it back to you guys that's pretty much how my life goes obviously I've got my own thoughts
I've got my own ideas uh you know the the way I go about things and I have my own thought pattern which I express to you guys but one person that I always look up to is a guy called Gary Vayner trck and if you haven't checked out his videos I seriously recommend you do if you're uh you know in YouTube Instagram if you're just an influencer one word that he uses is hustle and I love that word half a year ago I didn't know what it meant and even to this day I'm starting to
really figure it out I absolutely love the word hustle because it's the the whole idea of it is the thing I live for the thing I enjoy the most you know the climb the struggle which you have to get through um so guys just that word hustle I love and I always end off my videos by saying have a great day and you know it's nice to be polite and have good manners and whatnot but you know have a good day doesn't have as much of an impact or it doesn't have as much meaning as
the word hustle does to me hustle means a lot to me so I think I'm going to end off my videos now by saying hustle hard because you know whenever I comment on people's videos Instagram I always say keep up the hustle because I want you guys to achieve what you want to achieve I want you guys to continually put the work in to get to where you want to be so uh you know have a saying have a great day that's cool and whatnot but I want to leave you guys with a message to
