life sentences are one of the peak punishments in the justice system convicted individuals are cast into a world where time stretches infinitely Behind Bars isolated from society they must grapple with the Mad realities of confinement forever and these convicts went ballistic upon receiving their sentences swiftly realizing that life as they knew it was over forever Shand Del Jackson shandel Jackson was 19 years old when he was convicted of first degree intentional homicide and robbery involving Nathan Potter chandelle reportedly expected the mandatory Life Center sentence but hoped he'd have the possibility of parole the judge shattered this hope when she sentenced him to life without the possibility of parole this instantly prompted a tantrum from shondelle it eventually took three adults to subdue him amidst tears from both his family and the family of the victim the victim 21-year-old Nathan Potter was a student of the University of Wisconsin Milwaukee he was walking home to his Riverwest apartment just a mile west of the University campus on the 6th of July 2009 when he was attacked by Shondell and his 20-year-old accomplice d Eric Thomas in a bid to Rob him he was shot to death by shondelle because he had no cash on him the pair of Thieves were caught and arrested a month later and Thomas wasted no time in letting them know Jackson was the murderer Jackson was charged with felony murder and displayed a total lack of remorse and empathy during his appearances in court he was captured gesturing to the victim's family and even smiling at them as he was being led away after one of his hearings John Potter the victim's father in his court address urged the judge to deliver punishment worthy of the senseless crime that had been committed citing that there is nothing that can be said to bring back our Nathan but that the punishment would certainly prevent another senseless loss of life at chandel's hands it took the jury only one hour to deliver a guilty verdict and this apparently didn't rattle Shondell as much Judge Rebecca dallot however sentenced him to life in prison and upon hearing that he didn't have the possibility of parole shawnell lost his ability to smirk and smile he was captured trying to turn around and gesture to the victim's family once more but authorities were prepared this time and made efforts to stop him he was wrestled to the ground as he cursed at the judge and became violent the officers even employed pepper spray to subdue him and he was eventually LED away from Court while the ambience of the courtroom remained maliciously tense both families were in tears one side remembering their loss and another coming to terms with losing theirs members of the Jackson family for some reason started hurling insults at the victim's family with when even saying I hate you I hate you all strange dant right dantri was all smiles rolling his eyes shaking his head and smirking as the impact statement was read by Courtney CLE on behalf of the victim's mother Karen CLE the victim Michigan high school student Jordan CLE was fatally shot in the middle of his head on the 6th of October 2016 during an attempted robbery the asants were 19-year-old Jarius Ellison 18-year-old Delano Gracie an 18-year-old danta Wright he was found dead near Pine Lake Village Cooperative in Ann Arbor by a maintenance worker working at a condominium complex Wright calmly admitted in court that he had slain the 18-year-old High School football athlete when he and his friends were were trying to rob him at gunpoint he went into the details even stating that he had shot him in the top by his head during his hearing he had just accepted a plea deal and faced 25 52 years in prison and chose to address the court after the impact statements by his family to say that I just say I just want to tell y'all I'll be home soon or I'll be Keon I love my family the courtroom reacted in shock from the careless and unprepared speech while the judge asked him if that was all he wanted to say Wasau county trial court judge David Schwarz proceeded to explain that in all his two decades of presiding over cases he had never rejected a sentence agreement and said watching you sit there smile laugh shake your head like this was no big deal I'm very tempted to just say I'm not going to accept this sentencing agreement and we'll go to trial he went on to say that if he was convicted of felony murder that he would go to jail for the rest of his life for the rest of your life that means you'll die there that's what I'm tempted to do assistant Wason County Prosecuting Attorney John Vel then asked for time to consult the CLE family about actually going to trial wri's face straightened up for the first time as he waited through the recess to hear if the C were as annoyed as the judge the family decided that they wanted Schwartz to sentence their son's killer through the agreement so that they could move on and attempt to forgive him wri's defense attorney David Goldstein apologized on his behalf stating that his client asked him to and attributed the 17-year-old's behavior to his age fear and behavioral problems wri's family who reportedly encouraged his behavior in court would later support this with his mother antronette cardar telling new stations that he does not understand exactly what's going on because of his mental conditions which no one brought up during the proceedings and how no one had administered his medications to him since his incarceration she further went on to say that laughing and smiling was how he handled everything since he was a child dant right's two accompli Delino Gracie and Jarius Ellison also pled guilty and were sentenced to 15 40 years for their roles in the tragic event Erica buts Circuit Judge Dedra Jefferson was still reading out the sentence and as such the court finds it appropriate that each be sentenced to the State Department Corrections for a period of life you will get credit for any of the time that you shrill sounds erupted throughout the courtroom swiftly drowning out her voice the families of the defendants began to wail while the ladies who just received life sentences collapsed to the ground Erica May butts and shenita Latrice Cunningham had just been sentenced to a period of life for the death of three-year-old Serenity Richardson which took place in November of 2009 the child's mother esia Richardson had been best friends with Erica butts and even made her the Godmother she had brought her child to visit with butts and her partner at the time Cunningham for a period of 2 weeks the couple unfortunately subjected little Serenity to days of beating until she succumbed to her wounds 911 responded to an emergency at 207 Conger River Drve in Somerville on the 3rd of November 2009 at about 7 p. m. after a call was made by but's mother following a call to tell her that the child's breathing had become shallow that day by the time paramedics reached Serenity she'd been dead for some time but had been placed on ice and exposed to bleach in Desperate attempts to revive her assistant solicitor Elizabeth Gordon said the baby's injuries reflected weeks of torture a duration that matched the amount of time the helpless child had spent with her aggressors she told the court that there was not a plane of her body that was spared save the souls of her feet the women explained that they beat the child because she had a potty accident and that they didn't know that their ferocious attacks would end the poor Girl's Life the prosecutor noted that a significant pelvic injury could have caused Serenity to lose bladder control to which judge Jefferson added that the women most likely frightened the potty trained child into urinating uncontrollably Yia Richardson during her address stated that was very very angry and asked the judge to give her remorseful best friend the maximum sentence alongside her lover judge Jefferson seemingly obliged sentencing the two females to life in prison both women were peeled off the floor and wheeled out of the courtroom after slumping to the ground upon hearing their fate amidst The Wailing of their family it took more effort to get butts out as she cried hysterically and appeared to hyperventilate her family also had to be escorted out of the courtroom before the distraught Richardsons could leave Kimberly Kesler on anyway so I can say whatever the I want this 53-year-old woman constantly acted out in court begging the question of her being mentally competent to stand trial the judge ruled that she was and sentenced her to life without the possibility of par role but why in May of 2008 mother of three and talented hair stylist Jolene Cummings went missing a few hours before her birthday and Mother's Day with her last known location being the Tangles hair salon in Fernandina Beach Florida where she worked the last person to see her alive was her cooworker Jennifer cybert Cummings who is apparently suspicious of cybert had told during a faceof at the salon that she knew she was not who she claimed she was and that she had every intention of exposing her 34-year-old Cummings grossly underestimated cybert and after going to to work on a certain Mayday she was never seen again investigators began to look into her disappearance and soon met with an uncooperative coworker the authorities got a call on the 16th of May tipping them off to the location of Cummings Ford Expedition which had been abandoned in the parking lot of a Home Depot store in Uli CCTV footage from May 13th at 1:17 a.
m. captured a person dressed in black parking the car and walking away this person was Jennifer cybert cybert who had called to tell the police that she couldn't be associated with the investigation because her ex-boyfriend was a stalker as well as a computer expert who would track her down if her name appeared on any official report was tracked down and arrested detectives found large amounts of blood at the salon and later confirmed that it belonged to Jolene cybert voluntarily gave up her identity to the police saying when you run my fingerprints through they come up as Kimberly Lee Kessler I am 50 years old and I've been running for over 25 years Kesler stopped the interview when asked Cummings saying you may not like the answer but I would like to retain legal counsel surveill footage behind Tangles showed Kesler throwing heavy trash bags into a nearby dumpster before leaving for late night shopping at a nearby Walmart she was also captured purchasing 30- Gall trash bags an electric carving knife cleaning gloves and a bottle of ammonia Upon returning to the salon kler threw more bulging trash bags into the same dumpster a garbage truck picked up that dumpster later and its continents were never retrieved Kesler who had planned an executed numerous searches on murders without bodies and followed up with 457 searches of the name Jolene Cummings after her murder was charged with Cummings murder in September of the same year Kessler then went on a hunger strike in jail going from 19 196 to a near skeletal 74 lb to prove incompetence for trial she was often times wheeled into court emaciated and ranting she was also charged with battery after she stripped down and spread feces on herself the cell walls even threw it at guards Kesler was mostly relegated to another room due to multiple disruptions and verbal outbursts including shouting on numerous occasions that her defense attorney Jordan Beard is joling cumming's cousin the court did not believe that she was mentally incompetent and found her guilty of first-degree murder in December of 2021 she was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole Daryl Brooks frankly MrBrooks No One
