cut an end an M Dash in Microsoft Word if you have a keyboard with a numeric pad the quickest way is just to go to control alt and then the minus key you can also go just hold the alt button and then type in zero one five one zero one five one when you let off of the ALT key the M Dash will pop up if you're on a Mac you can hit command M I'm on a Windows machine so I can't do that but it's command M on a Mac if you don't have a
numeric keyboard because you're using a smaller laptop or something like that inward under your insert tab you've got this option here symbol click the symbol drop down go more symbols and you'll have an M Dash here so mine's already selected because I've scrolled down to it but it does take a bit of scrolling to get to it you'll notice but then once you add the M Dash you just click on it or click on it up there and hit insert and then close it'll add it an advantage to this is once you've done it if
I go to symbols now notice it's in my recently used option so you can go mdash here now or more symbols and it'll be under your recently be used another way is type A word out whatever your word is don't hit space or anything after it press the hyphen key twice dot dot and then type another word I'm just going to go word again and now when I hit space it'll turn those hyphens into an M Dash and finally if none of these work for you in the show notes below I'll have it in there
