Hello everyone! Did you have a good day today? Where do you live?
The United States, the United Kingdom, South Korea, or Japan? I live in the U. S.
I went to Korea with my husband last April. Korea was still so busy and pretty and there were so many delicious foods and there was always something new. Have you ever been to South Korea?
If you've ever been to Korea, have you ever been to a Korean cafe? I love coffee, so when I was in Korea, I went to a lot of cafes. From now, I want to talk about why I think Korean cafes are the best.
First, there are tons of cafes in Korea. Because there are so many cafes, it's so easy to get to one. If there's a cafe next to your house, you can take a short walk.
Even if your favorite cafe is a bit far away, you can just hop on the subway or bus. If the weather is nice, you can also take a walk. You don't have to drive.
Even if you don't have a car, you can safely walk to the cafe. Imagine this. It's three in the afternoon and I want to go to my favorite cafe.
Pack your laptop in your bag. Leave your house and take the bus. Look outside.
The sky is blue and you can see so many people. I'm listening to my favorite song. It's already time to get off the bus.
When I get off the bus, a short walk away is my favorite cafe. This is how easy it is to go to a cafe. Second, Korean cafes are very diverse.
There are many cafes in Seongsu-dong that used to be old factories. There are also cafes in Hapjeong-dong with lots of pots and plants. I've also been to a hanok-like cafe in Insadong.
You could be drinking coffee while reading a comic book or playing computer games. There are cafes where you can play with cats, dogs, and even raccoons. That's a lot of variety, right?
Korean cafes don't just sell coffee. They also sell experiences and memories. My husband and I also made a lot of fun and special memories at those cafes.
Third, Korean cafes are really pretty. I feel like all the cafe owners in Korea are designers. There are many cafes with a modern and contemporary atmosphere.
The lighting is warm and the chairs and tables are clean. You'll see a lot of pretty pictures and big and small potted plants in the cafes as well. So when I go to a cafe, I always take a lot of pictures of the cafe.
I think I have more pictures of cafes than I do of my husband, lol. I think if I drink coffee in a beautiful space like this, the coffee tastes even better. And I think that's why I also want to go back to that cafe.
So there you have it, my reasons why I think Korean cafes are the best. I hope you can relate to me. Thank you for listening.
See you next time.
