the only type of person who can't go to heaven there are two types of people who can't go to heaven are the truth God is merciful and loving beyond the borders of human comprehension as much as possible God has done everything within his ability to ensure the salvation of all humans ultimately God gave His only begotten son Jesus Christ to die for the sins of humanity however no one can be saved except through faith in Jesus Christ Ephesians 2 verse 8 and 9 says for by grace are ye saved through faith and that not of
yourselves it is the gift of God not of Works lest any man should boast the grace of God is for free in other words everything you receive from God you receive it by grace you cannot earn it and you don't deserve it there is no other medium of Salvation except through faith in the finished work of Christ Romans 10 verse 9 and 10 says that if Thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead Thou shalt be saved for with the heart
of man believeth unto righteousness and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation when we believe Jesus in our hearts we become righteous and when we confess him with our mouth we are saved anyone who will be saved must be humble to accept this fact this led me to the understanding that man or a woman who is full of Pride cannot be saved simply because at its very core salvation is a free gift of God we are all sinners condemned to death according to Romans 3 verse 22 to 24 and Romans 6 23 all have
sinned and come short of the glory of God and the wage of sin is death Romans 6 23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our lord Romans 3 verse 22 to 24 his righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe there is no difference between Jew and the Gentile for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God and all are Justified freely by his grace through the Redemption that came by Christ to Jesus a proud person believes
they can enter Heaven through legalism a proud person believes that they can follow the law and as a result of them following that law they can't enter Heaven a proud person always pays their bills and cannot accept the gift of salvation every sinner is condemned to death death is the one and only Wage of Sin salvation on the other hand is just the free gift of God it is not something we deserve deserving is a reward if we deserve salvation then the death of Jesus Christ was in vain if we deserved salvation then we could
take the credit for our entrance into heaven ourselves and for all eternity we would be in heaven patting ourselves on the back about what a wonderful job we did to enter Heaven if we deserve salvation then it means that we can work it out on our own but the truth is we will be in heaven because of one man Jesus Christ what we deserved was hell and if the truth be told I deserved it I mean the Life I Lived deserve the full wrath of God but proud men believe they cannot humble themselves to see
that they are a sinner that needs saving to see yourself as a sinner requires humility to see yourself as a sinner that cannot save himself requires humility we cannot save ourselves we were dead in sin until Christ came when Christ came he credited righteousness into our account and took our sins to the cross he died on our behalf he gave us his own identity and took our thoughts on himself Isaiah 54 17 says no weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment Thou shalt condemn this
is the heritage of the Servants of the Lord and their righteousness is of me saith the Lord after Christ has done all this a man thinks he does not need Jesus then such an arrogant and proud man cannot go to heaven because he failed to acknowledge Grace or receive Grace an arrogant man or a proud man or woman always pays his bills and doesn't want anything free therefore an arrogant man or a proud man or woman cannot conceive Grace cannot understand Grace or even receive it meanwhile the basis of us going to heaven is simply
the grace of God and no one of us is going to heaven out of their own good works going to heaven is not a reward of your good works yes you can be rewarded in heaven for bringing souls to Christ there are crowns in heaven for this but for you to enter to be saved or for you to enter Heaven it is simply through the grace of God the free gift of Grace it is pride for anyone to reject Christ or think that morality can save him or her God does not define righteousness by our
morality he gives his righteousness on those that believe and accept Jesus Christ as their lord and savior Romans 3 verse 22 this righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe there is no difference between Jew and Gentile it is unfortunate that as freely as God wants Humanity to be saved people want to get saved by their efforts what effort can a dead man apply we that are dead in sin can we save ourselves from it God has chosen the way of salvation for us and that is the only option we have
it is pride for us to reject Christ and seek out another medium for salvation Paul lamented over the Jews because they have Zeal to serve God but their Zeal was not according to the knowledge through which a man can access the salvation of God in Christ Romans 10 verse 1 to 3 reads brethren my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israelis that they might be saved for I bear them record that they have a Zeal of God but not according to knowledge for they being ignorant of God's righteousness and going about to establish their
own righteousness have not submitted themselves unto the righteousness of God it is easier to access God through faith than through works the fact remains that our works are only meant to be the fruits of our faith you cannot prove your faith in God by The Works of your hands if you try to do that it is pride you want to prove to God that you can work out your way to heaven and that the provision of his son Jesus Christ as the sacrifice for sin is needless a proud person cannot go to heaven the only
medium which we can access the holiest place where God dwells is not by works but by the blood of Jesus you don't have a covering from the Judgment of God if the blood of Jesus is not speaking for mercy on your behalf morality does not take anyone to heaven it is only faith in Christ that does the Bible says in second chronicles 7 verse 14. If my people which are called by my name shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their Wicked Ways then will I hear from heaven and will
forgive their sin and will heal their land now focus on this phrase shall humble themselves and pray and seek my face it takes humility to totally depend on God through prayer when we wake up and go about our day without praying to God it could mean we can handle the matters of the day without the help of God we put God to the side and say don't worry God I have this day covered I am the captain of my own ship and I will order my day today over the years you have heard me say
this verse God resists the proud if there is one thing you don't want and I don't want is to live a life with God against us you must fight pride and defeat it before it defeats you to resist Pride you must clothe yourself with humility God resists the proud just the same way he resisted the devil but he gives grace to the humble and exalts them [Music]
