The COWS are SICK | Reality of FARMING.

I don't want to do [Music] this it did come to a point where we thought we were going to lose JB so it did get kind of scary that was wild um [Music] if you're new here welcome if you're not welcome back so as some of you guys know we have not been posting as we normally do and there are a couple reasons but as you guys know by the title this is more of a reality of the hardships on our farm now we kind of tend to post some fun farm videos all kinds of

stuff like that aesthetic videos but sometimes there comes to a point where we have to show you guys what hardships are really like on our farm from weather to sick cows to losing a cow it's it's been awful since the weather has been so nasty lately we have had to keep the cows in because we have to prevent them from being sick in the rain and the cold so it normally takes us all day to work but this morning we're going to milk Elias and then we're going to try to let all of our cows

out in the pasture since it's not raining at the moment and we'll go from there my mom's going to milk Elias so everyone ate their breakfast everyone is good to go I'm going to start bringing Maple down first hello [Music] w [Music] and There She Goes by favor oh she says hello [Music] so before we start the barn stalls I'm going to go clean out JB and glorious Hut and I'm going to go clean out our Brown Swiss calves pens [Music] all right here's JB and Gloria they ripped down one of their hay Nets that's

lovely did they break it no they didn't break it okay good so as you all know by the thumbnail of this video and the amount of poop on the walls in this Hut JB and Gloria have been sick um they came down with pneumonia and lots of diarrhea we thought we could leave them out cuz they're beef cows and beef cows are more harder you know but come to find out they're not as resilient as we think it did come to a point where we thought we were going to lose JB so it did get

kind of scary but I'm happy to say they are now on the men's um glor they are feeling much better so getting all the poop off the walls is definitely going to be a project for when nice weather comes around yeah she's feeling [Music] better her sandpaper tongue oh my gosh anyway as of now I am going to start mucking out their pen but first i'm going to move them to the holding pen so that so that they kind of stay out of my way while I do this [Music] [Applause] like I said they tore

down their hay bag not even sure how they did that cuz the other one is up so that's weird [Music] it's raining now very lightly and I forgot to mention the only thing we're dealing with now with JB and Gloria is they're coughing [Music] okay I think I'm going to go grab some straw and then I'm going to start filling hay [Music] bags he has the option to go sit inside but instead he's out here in the mud [Music] thank you Angel she's standing in her water [Music] [Music] even though we are going through some

pretty tough times right now the best thing that we do is we really try to stay positive and we just thank Our Father in heaven for absolutely everything he's given us we thank him that we have a barn to put the cows in that we have fresh hay just little things we really try to stay thankful for and it really makes everything better so just always remember to stick to the positive side even when things go wrong normally the weather right now during these months it's supposed to be cold and snowing but it's like April

right now where we live I got my hay bag I'm going to show try to put it up there I'm very short so we'll see how this goes oh also B is joining me [Music] so that was a bit harder than it looks so now that hay is done I'm just going to go grab straw and then I'm going to redo their water and put some more electrolyte in it that's why it's blue [Music] I'm going to do a couple flakes [Music] [Music] [Music] all right everything is done I'm going to start bringing those two

love birds back in what in the world [Music] [Music] [Music] right and I'm going to go start the Cals pins almost got stuck bringing that over here oh my goodness [Music] [Music] okay what are you doing they will eat anything and everything it's just crazy even my face [Music] [Music] prosperity's pen is officially done all right now I'm going to go dump all the stuff in my pole behind and then me and my mom are going to come in the barn and we're going to start cleaning out stalls [Music] [Music] [Music] oh [Music] [Music] so

we did a couple things off camera we got all the shavings put in the Stalls because they did need extra shavings so we're just going to go from [Music] there get her up up up and they just walk right in good girls they know where to go they know where their stalls are [Music] now I am just filling Angel's trough getting that out of the way and then we're going to go out and medicate JB and Gloria and we're going to go from there [Music] all done medicating the beef cows so we've been outside all

day working again and it's going to rain tonight so that's another fun thing anyway I still got to give pigs a straw because their bedding is kind of wet from the rain so yeah [Music] so right now I'm about to go and give pigs straw for their bedding in the rain so let's go I don't want to do this but here we [Music] go well uh that was wild um get in your hood hurry it's wet like a daddy in the back yeah um we have more work to do tonight a lot more work and
