This is a guided meditation for self-confidence. Take a moment to make your body comfortable. Be sure to have good posture yet keep your muscles relaxed whether sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes, if you like. And as always, bring your attention to your breath. Just take natural and comfortable breaths.
And if you like, occasionally take a deeper rejuvenating breath in. And on the breath out, allow your muscles to relax even further, releasing any of that remaining tension that you might be carrying. Think of your breath as a soothing rhythm a natural flow that keeps you anchored in the present moment.
And as you continue to breathe, start to imagine a warm glow enveloping your body. Think of a favorite color, maybe a glowing blue or a bright glowing orange. See this glowing light surround you in the space that you are in.
This light represents your self-confidence. Your inner strength. Think of it as a gentle and radiant energy that resides within you.
And with each breath, you feel that light glowing expanding. Surrounding you with nurturing and comforting presence. And as you are here with this, focus on that natural and gentle breath energy.
Shift your awareness inward. Connect with all the sensations of your body. When you recognize any of those areas of tension or discomfort With each exhale, allow that glowing light to gently melt away those tensions.
Enjoy this time and allow yourself to feel evermore at ease and relaxed. Allow this relaxing breathing exercise to remove any of your doubts or insecurities. Letting them go over and over again as you connect with this idea of self-confidence.
And now that you have arrived here in the present moment, think back on a time in your life where you felt truly confident. Maybe you did a courageous act or had a personal achievement. Maybe you can think back and find a moment when you embraced your authentic self.
And if you can't think of something specific right now, that's okay. Just to visualize the idea of confidence. Bring forth those emotions and the sensations associated with it.
Immerse yourself fully in this experience of having self-confidence and fill yourself with a deep sense of self-assurance and belief in your abilities. Let this idea of confidence infuse every cell of your being. Feel confidence radiate from within you, like that warm gentle and bright glow that surrounds you.
Know that you are deserving of confidence and that you possess the power and strength to achieve your goals and dreams. In the days to come, pay attention to any self-critical or negative thoughts that may arise without judgment observe these thoughts and let them pass by like clouds drifting across the sky. Remember that thoughts are not always reality and you have the power to choose which thoughts to engage with and which to let go.
Continue to keep that focus on your breath and that comforting glowing light surrounding you. And again with each inhale, imagine that focus on your self-assurance feeling the power within yourself and then with each exhale, release any of that self-doubt or fear. Feeling your power on the inhale releasing the fear on the exhale.
Embrace the truth that you are capable resilient and worthy of joy, worthy of success. Worthy of love for yourself and from others. Throughout each day, remember to take moments to offer yourself words of encouragement and compassion.
You can silently repeat affirmations such as "I am strong". "I believe in myself" "I am confident" Whatever affirmations you choose, feel them resonate deeply within your being, reinforcing your inner strength and self-confidence. As we near the end of this meditation, take a moment to express gratitude for yourself and your journey.
Recognize the progress that you have made in your life and the challenges that you have already overcome. Trust in your ability to navigate life's uncertainties with grace and confidence. Now, if you like, you can either prepare to end this session today or take a few more minutes and practice those affirmations or practice breathing exercises, feeling that confidence, feeling that inner power.
Whenever you choose to end this session, just slowly stretch out your body starting to move your fingers and toes. Allowing the comforting warmth of self-confidence to stay with you as you continue through your day or night. Remember the wonderful strength that you have.
