What's going on, guys? Welcome back to a brand new video. Today, we're going to be talking about season 3 and what you need to know about it.
All of the confirmed information coming in directly from Call of Duty. So, if you do find the video informative or helpful, don't forget to hit that like and subscribe button. And you're probably wondering, why am I talking about the season 3 update this early on?
Well, because season 2 reloaded is actually very short. It's only 3 weeks long. According to the battle pass countdown timer as well as the weekly challenges, season 3 is expected to launch on April 2nd.
This means that we are just 2 and 1/2 weeks away from this update. And as you guys know, Call of Duty will always do the marketing, the reveal, and the blog the week before, so on the 26th. So, we're literally around a week and a half away of knowing all of the details, and all the information about this update, which is why I wanted to talk about it here today.
Now, the first thing that we have is there's a couple of things already confirmed to us because this information comes from Call of Duty. Plaza the map is officially returning. We did have prior leaks to this, but because they talked about it in the latest CODPOD, it suggests to us that Plaza is officially going to be coming back in the next big update, which obviously going to be a multiplayer map.
The last time we saw it was in Black Ops 2. And it's also a map that we don't currently have in Avalon because a lot of the remakes do come from Avalon. So, this is like a fullon remake that's going to be coming in.
Now, the next thing that we have is a ranked play update. So, rotational resurgence is going to be available with the launch of season 3. Now, what this means is that they will be rotating between Havens Hollow as well as Rebirth Island.
I've seen a lot of you guys say that you do want ranked resurgence, but you want it available in Rebirth Island, and currently it's only in Havens Hollow. Well, they're actually going to give you the option of being able to play both of the maps with the season 3 update. So, that's like one of the ranked play updates they're doing for the war zone side of things.
Before we continue, a quick word from our sponsor, Mitch Cactus. It's one of the biggest and most reliable names in Call of Duty that can help you complete the mastery camo grind, unlock the weapon prestige camos, and they even offer exclusive DLC content such as the Muller Milk operator, monster energy rewards, and much more. And they also have over 20,000 verified reviews on Trust Pilot, so you know that it's 100% safe and legit.
They even have offers outside of Call of Duty for Battlefield 6. So, if you're interested, be sure to use code Trizel to save 5% off. It's for a limited time only.
Now, one other thing that they did confirm way back during Call of Duty next is that Fortunes Keep was going to get a map refresh and return to War Zone. Now, the problem is they never confirmed the date to us. So, I don't think it's going to be in season 3.
My guess would be season 4 because they just gave us the Avalon big map map. They gave us Blackout and then they also have the intention of turning Avalon into a battle royale map. So big map rotation is a thing that Call of Duty has on their mind and that's probably going to be sometime in season 3.
They also don't confirm the date for that but because they started talking about it. It suggests that that's going to be what they're going to focus on with War Zone. So instead of giving us a new map in season 3, they're going to update the existing things that we have.
for example, Avalon, the rotation that they're going to be implementing and things like that. Going on to the next thing that we have is we do got an update to carry forward. This was a little interesting though because there's a couple ways Call of Duty has been doing carry forward when it comes to BO7 is first off, they bring new maps or I should say remaster maps from Black Ops 6.
Now, as many of you guys wanted, you said stakeout. They confirmed stakeout was just not going to happen. But if you follow the pattern of the maps that they've released so far, there's two that could be coming in the season 3 update, and that is the return of WMD, which we don't have yet in BO7, and then also Hienda.
These are two maps that were remastered during the life cycle of BO6, and they do this carry forward update every reloaded, and they bring it back. So, these are the two maps that are remaining, and I think we're going to probably see that in season 3. Now, alongside this, there's also another update to carry forward.
They mentioned, and that is specifically for zombies. So, they said that classical weapons are scheduled to be coming in for zombies, and they said they're going to be bringing them in a quote unquote unique way, and there's going to be a handful of them. So, we don't know exactly which weapons they're going to be picking.
Probably the most popular, such as the PBSH, the Olympia, the MP 40. These are weapons that just make sense to have in a zombies mode. And then they also said a unique way.
So, I don't think it's going to be as simple as it's just going to be on the wall and then all you have to do is purchase it and you'll be able to use the weapon. Maybe there's going to be hidden Easter eggs or something involved just because of the fact that they said it's going to be coming in a creative way. And once again, because they recently spoke about this, you can expect it to happen in the season 3 update.
Now, the next thing that we have here is going to be Blackout. So, Blackout content will continue in season 3. They're going to be doing a lot of updates.
They've already started talking about updates they're going to be sharing and doing in terms of right now for season 2 reloaded. For example, a lot of people are not happy with the fact that solos and duos is not available in this mode. That's something that they've mentioned.
There's also things like redeployment, activities, loot and equipment, UI updates, and then current bugs and situations that are going on. But in my opinion, I think the most important things are obviously the operator orders. There's a chance that that's going to get updated.
More operators are going to be available. This is something that they could continuously update and add for the long haul. So, right now there's three operators.
You can get a couple of animated camos, a weapon blueprint, and they have these nine challenges. Now, on top of this, I think maybe in season 3, maybe in Reloaded, they're going to do another update, bring in more operator orders for you to complete with different operators, paying more homage to other Blackout characters, specialists, and operator skins that we've seen in the past, just like they did with Zero or the OG Dempsey Boot Camp, and then they can continue that forward. I think that is a good way to gain replayability for Blackout and have people stay playing this mode.
And then, going to be a big event overhaul update starting with season 3. They've said that they've heard us. They acknowledge the fact that we don't want leaderboard events and that the way that they're currently doing events just does not work.
And they said because it takes time for them to create these events, they're going to start this overhaul with the season 3 launch. But here's one thing that I know for a fact they didn't say is they never specifically stated no more leaderboard events. They just said we know how you feel about them and they're going to be implementing more challenge based events or XP events and then so forth and going forward.
Now I believe that leaderboard events are still going to be a thing probably with all the new zombies maps. They're going to continue releasing these leaderboard events but they're just not going to be as frequent. If you guys recall with like the start of season 2, every single event almost was a leaderboard event and that got a little overwhelming.
Players were sick and tired of that. Now, I think maybe in season 3 we may see one or two throughout the entirety, but they confirmed to us there's going to be more challenge based ones and then there's also going to be more escalation directive style events. So, this is going to be the mastery camo events that you can do in every single mode to get a mastery reward for that particular mode.
But then when you complete all of them, you'll get like that ultra mastery for completing the entire thing. They really like the feedback they got from that and it looks like that's going to continue on with season 3 having another one. Now, at the moment, this is most of the information that has been confirmed to us.
There is a lot of other things that you can obviously expect with the season 3 update because there's going to be a battle pass involved. There's going to be new brand new multiplayer maps, potentially ones that we have from the campaign. There's going to be all new modes that are going to be coming in.
Potentially a crossover. I mean, I just refuse to believe we're going to go two seasons in a row without a single crossover because season 2 we didn't get anything at all. So, season 3, we may end up starting to see something.
And then it's going to continue into other things like War Zone getting stuff, Endgame probably getting more bosses, and then one thing that I personally believe is that we're going to get our first look at Modern Warfare 4 sometime during season 3. I don't think it's going to be like a full gameplay reveal. We're just going to get the confirmation of the title because this is around the time where they're like, "Hey guys, the next Call of Duty is actually going to be called this.
" And we have the name MW4 just because of the previous leaks that we have. But Call of Duty never said the name of it. Just called COD 2026 as of right now.
So with season 3, to go over. But anyways, it's been your boy and hopefully I'll be seeing you guys again. Peace.
