as we started 2024 we wanted to challenge ourselves could we build the world's first AI agent that completes a real valuable job end to end and we did that we built bch the bdr agent that completely replicates the role of a business development rep it was able to Source leads handle the responses resolve objections and even book meetings for the sales team to take later this is a really challenging experience but it was what we needed to do to figure out what product had to be built to really enable AI agents to make an impact
in the workforce the thing that differentiated relevance was this actually felt like a person working in the business with us so users of the relevance platform will have seen we built a lot of features we made our agent runtime really powerful the ability to build agents that could manage sub agents the communication protocols between them features like our flow buildup where you could teach your agents how to follow processes based on a company's sop really in-depth debugging like our task view UI and even things like our override mode that lets you mock the input and
output of tools so that you can debug tasks over and over again tweaking different parts of your multi-agent system we built batch scheduling so that you could run your agents on hundreds and hundreds of tasks every week we built something called the agent contract where you could control the Cadence of how your agent works you could tell it to only process x amount of tasks a day or you could even tell it to not work on weekends we built approvals and escalation so your agent can keep humans in the loop they can alert you when
they don't know how to handle a situation and you can teach them how to handle it next time by responding and then having that ritten into knowledge for the agent to reference later on top of this we built hundreds of Integrations we built agent triggers from crms and emails we even built our custom agent web hook so that you can trigger your agent from any other system I could keep going on about the vast amount of features that the relevance team built this year to enable agents like both to actually complete real work and go
to production for hundreds and hundreds of companies worldwide as one of the co-founders of relevance I could not be more proud of the work our team has done this year but what I'm more excited about is what we're going to be doing in 2025 cuz now having spent all of that time building the really deep features needed to maintain a production ready multi-agent system we're now ready to take this to the next level and we're going to do that through two different focuses first of all we've been working on a secret project a new way
to construct your multi-agent systems based on what we've learned about building agents like bch secondly we want to make it easier for you to create the next bch we're going to release heaps and heaps of the templates that we use internally at relevance sunny our customer support agent Lemar our life cycle marketing agent Ellie our enrichment agent anything that we've built internally we're going to share with you so that you guys can deploy it at your company or even better create whole new multi-agent systems that we haven't even thought of to do that we're going
to be focused on build building features that make it way easier for you to build agents and I can't wait to share that progress with you over the next couple of months on top of that we're going to make a commitment to better customer support and growing our community we're going to bring more people into the relevance team supported by agents like Sunny to help us connect way more frequently with our users understand What's blocking you what problems we can resolve and what features to build next we're going to try and build more and more
