on today's episode Elon talks about the challenges of Tesla bot production we investigate the new Cyber Roadster the Cyber cab is spotted in the real world the Cyber truck gets a bulletproof upgrade and a new Tesla partnership could save money in the world all at the same time Elon Musk has revealed something new about Tesla's ongoing effort to bring their Optimus humanoid robot to mass production which is basically the entire point of the Tesla bot business model musk isn't necessarily trying to create the most amazing robot in the world he's aiming for a very good
robot that can be produced at a very high volume and sold at a reasonable price Elon has been saying recently that he thinks there could be at least as many Tesla bots in the world as people if not more robots than people and he seems to think that could happen relatively soon which brings us back to the biggest limiting factor on the Tesla bot production Elon says that Optimus is already doing some tasks in the Factory and the scope of its ability is increasing rapidly which is great news the robot is going to need to
be doing useful things before anyone is going to want to buy one Elon then explains the challenge right now saying the toughest part by far is improving the design of Optimus for ease of manufacturing and tooling up a complex supply chain so it can be made in significant numbers now if Elon is correct and the hardest part is going to be the manufacturing then Tesla already has a pretty significant advantage over their competition everybody is making a humanoid robot right now a new one pops up pretty much once a week but none of these small
robot startups have Manufacturing in their wheelhouse they can make one robot that does back flips that's cool but they can't make millions of those robots meanwhile Tesla has spent the past decade figuring out how to manufacture millions of electric cars per year that's not something that any other major automaker has been able to do the Chinese have come pretty close but that's largely by copying innovations that Tesla already made years ago so we have to imagine what could be possible if they achieve a similar manufacturing dominance in the world of humanoid robots which will be
significantly easier to build than cars they are smaller less moving Parts less materials all of that yes it is far-fetched to imagine billions of robots but it's not crazy to think that if any company can actually follow through on delivering enough usable robots to actually make an impact on the world then Tesla has the best shot at it I want to talk about something that could completely transform how you manage your time and boost your productivity akif flow if you were juggling a busy schedule like most of us you know how crucial it is to

around in broad daylight no this is the Cyber Roadster and it is 100% not Tesla or Elon Musk approved this is a homemade car if you can believe it built by one man David Andrea also known as cyber holigan David has been documenting the entire 2-year process of building this insane Custom Vehicle somehow we've completely missed this until he finally revealed the finished product but this thing has been in the works for 2 years he started out with a totally wrecked Tesla Model 3 Performance as a baseline then Frankenstein together parts from other W Teslas
and a bunch of custom fabricated pieces to create something that he considers to be the love child of a cyber truck and Lamborghini which honestly I think he nailed it the style of the Cyber Tru with the proportions of a superar this vehicle is 80 in wide while only being 46 and 1/2 in tall then it's painted with a 12 layer metallic candy apple red finish he's even dialed in the genuine Tesla Style with the doors that don't quite line up properly now not only is the Cyber Roadster street legal and ensured Dave has somehow
managed to get all of the advanced Tesla features like autopilot to work just fine if you missed out on this build don't worry the Cyber holigan YouTube channel is already teasing Dave's next build which is going to be even more cybertruck inspired and will probably come out even more insane moving on to to a more official Tesla concept vehicle the new Cyber cab is being seen out in the real world for the first time this amateur video caught a cyber cab driving on the roads around Tesla's gigafactory in Austin Texas and knowing that this vehicle
doesn't even have a steering wheel or pedals it's obviously self-driving around the factory site I'm pretty sure these are private roads or at the very least access is restricted to Tesla employees you see the Cyber cab approach a gate house and the arm raises to Usher it through which the Cyber cab appears to register almost instantly and it smoothly makes its way through the checkpoint so that's great news even better news is that you don't even have to go snooping around the Tesla gigafactory to see a cyber cab up close you just need to be
in San Jose California this is where Tesla has put a cyber cab on display at its Santana Row showroom judging from amateur video the Cyber cab looks just as good in the showroom lighting as it did at the unveiling event at Warner Brothers Studios one thing I did notice was is that they seem to have finished the wheels on this prototype because there seems to be an actual cover over the sidewall of the tire and not just gold paint shout out to Miriam Al sulon for the very nice detail shots probably the first well-lit real
world photographs we've seen of the Cyber cab and its features speaking of features do you remember when Elon Musk said that the cybertruck windows would be bulletproof well the Cyber truck does come with some very tough glass but it's not actually bulletproof or even Steel ball prooof unfortunately but now there is good news for all of the violent criminals and Hyper paranoid people out there a company called armored cyberg glass has developed the first bulletproof glass upgrade specifically for the Tesla cyber truck for the low price of just $40,000 you can make all eight of
the cybertruck class panels resistant to multiple gunshots from a variety of bullet calibers now shooting the armored window is still going to ruin it but the five layer window is going to contain the bu and all of the shrapnel from the impact so probably not a worthwhile upgrade for your average driver but we'd imagine that all of those police departments that have been considering cyber trucks for their vehicle Fleet just took notice maybe Secret Service as well Elon and Trump are friends now so do we see the president rolling around in a black bulletproof cyber
truck now here is a story that could potentially save you a bunch of money Monta is a software company designing applications specifically to manage Electric vehicle charging for corporations have you ever driven a company car well there's typically a reimbursement for expenses on gasoline which is easy to track but as corporate fleets integrate electric vehicles and employees are charging at home things get a little more difficult you can't just submit your electricity bill for reimbursement Monta software is an answer to making corporate EV fleets easier to manage and this powerful software network has just integrated
Tesla wall connectors in a new application that will automate home charging reimbursement this is a first in the world the Chargers can be fully integrated through the platform easily and within minutes as can be seen in this video but what does this mean for Tesla well it should help them tap into more of the B2B market and will ease the employee and Fleet Management workflow for many fleets worldwide just this Autumn Monta announced its expansion to the US so this service is now available worldwide here's CEO and co-founder of Monta Casper rasmason talking about the
benefits with six out of 10 new cars being company Vehicles businesses are increasingly seeking efficient solutions for employee charging reimbursement we are excited to integrate with Tesla's wall connector which is one of the most popular models in the market we are making it easier to transition to electric vehicles and accelerating the green transformation across Europe in addition to home charging reimbursement corporate customers and their employees can also use Matta to access half a million public charging points across Europe corporate fleets hold the key to reducing 74% of new car emissions the company car market continued
to lag behind in electrification last year with battery electric vehicles making up just 14.1% of corporate sales compared to 15.6% in the private Market according to a 2024 report for the third consecutive year businesses are falling behind in EV adoption despite having the financial resources and benefiting from substantial tax incentives
