you and I actually spoke about 9 months ago and you told me that you have like 11,000 unread emails I don't read many emails my team will attest I think I have like 11,000 unopened emails right now have you got under control yet I think it was at like 20,000 and then now it's like it's done it's at 0 you asked me for a good email that you were able to book a meeting you booked a meeting with this is the one this is the one email that ever booked and when was it sent to
you it was may 10th 2022 it's almost been a year she responded to a sales email a couple of things one is is that this was 100% j'mony we shower the company because we love them Clari Clari a customer of lavender subject here was 30 minute meals and meetings Nadia saw your Twitter post on a fishing team more than big team completely agree so I'm assuming you tweeted about having an efficient team is much more powerful than having a large team right this is exactly why Clary made Accountant Activity Engagement Analytics so your sales and
marking teams can be uncilowed and see exactly where the top of funnel is converting to revenue and where marketing efforts need to be placed think resource allocation and planning and a super efficient team interested in learning more PS did spring cleaning last weekend as well feels so good okay so why I love this one is that there was connection that was made right away I felt connected to that email and the reason why is because it brought up a problem most sales and marketing teams experience and marketing leaders find challenging so being siloed so right
away I'm like you know what that is connects to me because yeah we're always worried about being siloed and our job is to break and smash those silos so automatically I'm like yes that's awesome next I loved it because he brought up the problem that they're tools solving for in a very precise way and also in a contextually relevant way by relating it to something I recently shared and I posted so I posted something about like you mentioned efficient teams and big teams and also he brought it up in the subject line because I had
posted about 30 minute meals by the way if you know me I'm all about 30 minutes anything I'm about 30 minute meetings I'm about 30 minute meals I'm about 30 minute interviews so the fact that he called that out was like oh my gosh that's awesome and then PS did spring cleaning last weekend as well so I also did a post about spring cleaning and he mentioned it on the PS so I loved that I felt connected it was short and sweet and over indexed on product features or bullet points or stats no if anything
didn't already talk about the people I don't want to know all of that I'm not gonna really read it and honestly it's probably not gonna hit any of the points that I would probably you know that would inspire me to purchase software so I don't really like emails with all of that and then lastly addressed a better future so resource allocation and super efficient teams so all of that ruled in one got me excited I booked that meeting damn it I did yes I'm glad to hear it Clara a great company you could tell this
was written by lavender with lavender as well you can tell it's short and if you want to steal this approach you're looking at first line something very personalized the second line is tying the personalization into a pain point of relevance see that that first line isn't just completely relevant to the rest of the email it's not like hey I saw your Twitter post so it's more about like it's a Twitter post about efficiency and that's what clary's helping with and then there's an interest based CTA it's not like hey do you wanna book a 30
minutes on the demo with me next week it keeps it nice and light and I love the PS where there's a little bit of sprinkled in extra personalization that would have been really hard tie in to clary's thing but they found it they related so they included it in the email and it did a little bit of better job standing out and it's different than other because sometimes people will just take a social post and not really wrap it in they won't really build a story with it whereas this was definitely well done I felt
like it was it tied all the right pieces together it was short succinct and fun
