there are five highly profitable poker hands that you should absolutely be playing at the poker table and today I'm going to walk you through stepbystep examples showing you exactly how to play these hands in the most optimal way these are the five hands that have given me some of the highest winnings throughout my entire professional poker career and I think these hands will drastically improve your winnings as well and if you're folding any of these right now it might be costing you money so without any further Ado let's jump into it down from 5 to
1 here we go here are the five highly profitable poker hands that you should be playing all right guys hand number five is Ace for suited now guys this is an absolute perennial favorite of mine this hand is extremely underrated by many beginners and let me just give you a few of the plethora of ways that this hand can absolutely crush your opponents at the poker table number one it can make the straight specifically the wheel straight you have the ace deuce 345 straight this is called the wheel straight in poker it is extremely well
hidden for example if they have a hand like pocket eights or pocket jacks or pocket aces even they're never going to put you on a strong hand instead they're going to be jumping for joy because they think this is the dream flop for them but we're going to flip over the bad news because we flop the street and that's going to be a pattern by the way with several of the other hands on this list that the reason why many of the hands that I'm going to discuss today are so powerful is because it gives
the other person a very strong hand guys always remember it takes two to tango and poker if you want to win a big pot they need to have something big too so let's move on here this hand can also make the nut flush and this is going to be another pattern you're going to notice a lot today is making nut hands now for some of you guys who are new to the Game of Poker a nut hand in poker just means the best hand possible or one of the best hands possible and anytime you have
an ace in your hand and any other card and they are both the same suit they will make the best flush possible barring the extremely unlikely situation where somebody has a straight flush let me give you an example you've got the ace four of diamonds and the Flop comes down with the seven of diamonds King of Diamonds and 10 of diamonds you have the unbeatable nut flush in this situation if they have any king or any 10 or any lower you absolutely have them drawing dead and that's another slang term which just means they have
almost zero or completely zero odds to win the pot and in this situation where you have the nut flush and they just have a pair or a lower flush they have almost 0% chance to win the pot and finally of course ace four anytime you have an ace in your hand you can make the highest pair which is always a good thing in poker if the Flop comes down with the Ace of Hearts nine of Spades and three of clubs we will of course have top pair and even if they have a hand as strong
as pocket king Kings pocket queens or pocket Jacks we are a massive favorite to win versus those hands literally almost a lock in poker so how do you play this hand well number one I'm often raising with this hand before the Flop I should mention that I always suggest raising first into the pot anytime you the first person in the pot I recommend always raising it let the table know hey you're in charge of this pot they're going to be a guest in your pot I also love Bluff R raising with this hand because this
puts tremendous pressure on them to have a strong hand we can often Bluff them out of the pot later but let's move on to hand number four now highly profitable hand that you absolutely should be playing and that is 67 suited so guys a hand like six seven of Hearts is another hand with big potential and I should mention by the way throughout this video when I say a hand is suited it just means both cards are the same suit and it doesn't matter if their hearts their clubs their Spades their diamonds it's all the
same so I'm choosing Hearts here but six seven of Spades or six seven of diamonds is awesome too so what is so great about this hand well number one it can make several Straits anytime you have two cards in poker that are right beside each other they can make multiple multiple Straits let me walk you through several of the straights that this hand can make if the Flop comes the 34 five you have flopped the nut straight that is the best Straight possible if the Flop comes 4 58 you have also flopped the nut straight
best Straight possible 589 is also the nut straight if you have 67 and if the flop comes down with the 8 99 10 you have flopped the straight but this is not the nut straight it's important to remember that on that board Jack Queen has flopped a higher straight and the unlikely Hand Jack 7 has also flopped a higher straight but I hope you guys see the unbelievable value of this hand three out of the four Straits that a hand like 67 can make using both cards are the nut straight incredible potential and once again
if they have a higher overpair they never going to put you on a hand as strong as a straight here if they have a hand like pocket Queens for example and the Flop comes down with a 34 five you are once again over 90% to win the pot a virtual lock to win the hands but the other beautiful thing about this hand six seven of Hearts six seven of Spades is it can make a flush so if the Flop comes down with the Ace of Hearts eight of hearts and two of Hearts you have flopped
the flush with six seven of hearts and also crucially this hand can make a very sneaky well hidden trips if the Flop comes down with the 669 once again if they have an overp pair they're never going to put you on that six and this is how I've been able to win some really really massive pots over the years against weaker players who in particular can't fold an over pair so once again similar strategy with this hand how should you play it I would recommend raising first into the pot as always with this hand before
the Flop and then I often will use this hand as a bluff re raising candidate this is an excellent throwaway hand if they re ra me back I can just fold it because this hand is essentially a bluff but this hand has massive potential after the Flop and that's why you want to specifically be bluffing with hands like this all right guys moving on to highly profitable hand number three and that is pocket eight now pocket eights is a proven winner in poker in any scenario this is like the Swiss army knife of hands guys
this hand can be played profitably in almost all situations and the biggest reason why is because this hand does not necessarily need to improve to win the pot a lot of lower pocket pairs we're going to talk about one coming up in a second here but a lot of lower pocket pairs like pocket 3es pocket fours pocket fives they're largely throwaway hands if you don't hit your three of a kind which is also called a set on the Flop however a hand like pocket a is good enough in many situations to still be the best
hand let me give you an example once again if the Flop comes down with the Jack of Hearts seven of Spades and three of diamonds and you've got pocket eights pocket eights is still going to be the best hand most of the time on this flop they're going to have a lot of hands that totally missed for example like a ace King Ace queen king queen queen 10 maybe they'll have a hand like a 109 for a gutshot straight draw or they could just have a lower pair they could have a pair of sevens they
could have a hand like pocket fives as we mentioned before so what's the best way to play this hand well raise pre flop as always and this hand is an excellent Bluff catcher after the Flop so so even if you don't hit your set on the Flop you don't catch your eight this is a perfect hand I will often just check it on the Flop especially versus an aggressive player let them Bluff at it and call them down all right guys let's move on to my number two most highly profitable hand that you absolutely should
be playing and that is Queen 10 suited and this is a longtime favorite hand of professional poker players like myself for one simple reason and that is that it can make the Broadway straight plus plus giving them an excellent second best hand guys as I talked about before it takes two to tango in poker if you want to win a big pot yeah you often need to make a big hand or find ways to Bluff them out of the pot but specifically most hands in poker when all the chips go in the middle usually one
person has a really strong hand and another person has a really strong second best hand so that is why Queen 10 suited is so unbelievably powerful and let me explain to you right now with a simple example so you've got the queen 10 of hearts and the Flop comes down with the Ace of Hearts King of Spades and jack of diamonds we have flopped the nut straight on this board the Broadway straight to be exact now if they have a hand like Ace King or Ace Jack both of those hands have hit two pair on
this board and if our opponent holds this hand they are silently fist pumping inside they are absolutely convinced that they have the best hand here but actually they don't because we flop the the straight and there are also many other great second best hands on this flop a hand like Ace Queen for example Ace 10 king queen is Happy on this board King Jack is very happy King Jack is two pair as well I think you guys get the idea this is a really crucial thing in poker guys you want to try to flop big
with a hand like this I know you're not going to flop the straight every single time of course but the beautiful thing about this hand is when you do hit a straight with this hand there is a very strong potential that your opponent has an excellent second best hand and that is absolute rocket fuel for your win rate because that's going to lead to a very very big pot with you holding the hammer being the massive favorite to win the hand so how do you play Queen 10 suited as always raise it up before the
Flop and then play it cautiously after the Flop often I'm not really looking to hit just top pair with his hand so I will play it cautiously I often use it as a bluff catcher in situations like that but if you can flop a straight or make a straight on the turn or river this is a beautiful hand so do not sleep on Queen 10 suited all right guys let's move on to my number one most highly profitable hand that you absolutely should be playing and that is pocket twos or Ducks as some people call
it guys pocket twos is a tiny hand with massive massive potential I have won tournaments with this hand I have won massive pots in cash games over the years with this hand and I'm going to explain to you why right now there is one simple reason you play this hand and that is to hit a set now a lot of people get a set and trips mixed up in poker they are both three of a kind but they are not the same thing a set is when you hit three of a kind on the Flop
when you have a pocket pair like pocket twos let me give you an example right now you've got the deuce of Spades and the deuce of hearts and the Flop comes with the ace of diamonds Deuce of Clubs and Queen of Spades boom we have hit our set on this board and let me tell you we are 96% to win versus most of these hands Ace King Ace Queen Ace Jack king queen and queen Jack all of these hands once again are excellent second best hands the person who has this if they have this hand
they are absolutely jumping for joy they are absolutely convinced they have by far the best hand and in most of these situations they have exactly 4% to win the pot we are a virtual lock to get all their money even versus Ace Queen here we still have 83% Ace Queen has a few more outs just because it's top two pair but I think you guys get the idea anytime we are over 80% or 96% versus both of these hands this is literally in a nutshell how you win at poker you are absolutely set up to
win a massive pot here so guys the way to play Pocket twos like a lot of these baby pocket pairs is super simple I do always raise if I'm first into the pot as always but if I'm not first into the pot I will often just call Pre flop and my entire focus is on hitting a set yes it's only going to happen 12% of the time most of the time you're not going to hit a set and it is important that if they make a strong bet on the Flop and you didn't hit your
two that you just thrw your hand away but guys these hands are like the slot machine you're just looking to hit that set on the Flop especially versus weaker players who can't fold a hand like Ace King on a board like this this is absolute money if you can hit your set all professional poker players literally make a living off of hands like this all right guys like and subsscribe if you found this video helpful and if you want to know my entire strategy to absolutely smash the small and mid-stakes games make sure you grab
