[Music] Did you know that in the Bible Jesus talks about children? Yes, He liked them very much and He loves you very much! When He was here on earth, He always showed that He wanted to be close to Children.
Hi, this is Aunt Anabelle. And today's story is about Jesus and the children. And it's there in the Bible in the book of Matthew chapter 19.

Jesus went around several cities talking about God's love. Wherever He went, people wanted to meet Him. He healed many sick people, made the blind see, helped men and women.
Parents also wanted Jesus to pray for their children, and the children were curious to see him. Once, Jesus was in the region of Judea and on that day Jesus was already tired from walking around the city to teach the people. Then he sat down for a while to rest.
Jesus' disciples knew He was tired and stopped with Him to rest too. But soon many people came to hear Jesus and be close to Him. Parents also wanted Jesus to pray for their children and the children were curious to see him.
But Jesus' disciples thought He was too tired to see the children. So they tried to stop the children from coming near Him and said, "Jesus is tired, come back another day. " But do you know what Jesus did?
Even though he was a little tired, He asked the disciples to allow the children to come to Him so He could bless them. And He even said: "Why are you complaining about the children being here with me? Let the children come, I like them close to me.
The kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like them. " Then the children ran to Jesus. They played with Him, sat on His lap, heard His voice and were blessed by Him.
The children were very happy to see Jesus. They were happy because they felt his love for them, and they also loved Jesus. But do you know what we learned from this story?
Jesus loves all humanity so much, so much so that he died on the cross for each one of us. But with children Jesus has a very special love, because He knows that children are pure, true and simple. Jesus showed his disciples the importance that children should play in their ministry.
He said, "And whoever receives such a child as this in My name receives Me. " We should not be a respecter of persons because Jesus loves everyone equally. He even says that people who enter the kingdom of God have to have a heart like children.
It doesn't matter if they are young or old people. Knowing that Jesus loves us is the most important thing in our lives. And He values a heart like ours that is sincere, spontaneous and that sees life in the simplest way possible.
Jesus taught us that we must always maintain a heart like this, and that only depends on us. So let's pray? Dear God, I thank you for your infinite kindness and for loving and caring for me and my entire family every day.
May I always seek Your Presence with simplicity, trust and Love. Help me to live according to Your will. May I never lose the ability to love, forgive and trust You fully.
