four hidden Christian symbols in the inauguration you missed did you catch it that subtle gesture during the inauguration or that carefully chosen phrase symbol one the president submitted to a greater King using the Bible it's no coincidence that every president swears their oath on a Bible but did you know that the choice of the Bible itself often carries deep significance for example example some presidents use family Bibles passed down for Generations others like Abraham Lincoln used Bibles with key inscriptions about Justice and humility here is the Royal law these are the Lively Oracles of God
in other words even though Trump is President his authority is under someone greater God no one is higher than Jesus he is the king of kings and Lord of lords what an amazing picture of Jesus first lady Melania Trump stood next to the president holding two Bibles as he raised his right hand to take the presidential oath which Chief Justice John Roberts issued milania Trump was holding her husband's personal Bible which was given to him by his mother and the Lincoln Bible that President Abraham linol used to take the oath of office in 1861 why
Trump didn't use the Bible for his oath the shocking truth what happened did Trump really take the oath without a Bible and if he did does it even count stick around because we're about to unravel a story of constitutional quirks political intri and yes a little bit of Internet chaos social media was flooded with tweets and comments like no hand on the Bible does this mean he isn't President when wait if Trump didn't swear on the Bible is this legit everyone had questions everyone had opinions but only one thing is for certain this moment is
already won for the history books for centuries the squaring in of US presidents has been a symbolic ceremony blending law tradition and personal beliefs from Lincoln's iconic Bible to Barack Obama's dual texts the Bible has been front and center a testament to the faith many Americans hold dear but in 2025 something unexpected happened as Chief Justice John Roberts began the 35W oath the Bibles weren't where they were supposed to be and Trump well let's just say his left hand stayed right at his side the internet exploded from political analysts to Everyday viewers everyone noticed the
break in Tradition some joked others speculated and and a few even declared that Trump wasn't officially president but here's the thing while it's shocking to see a president skip the Bible tradition the truth might surprise you legally Trump didn't do anything wrong let's dig into why first let's clear something up the US Constitution doesn't require a Bible for the oath of office article 6 Clause 3 states that no religious test shall ever be required for any public office and when it comes to the presidential oath the Constitution only asks for a promise to Faithfully execute
the office and preserve protect and defend the Constitution of the United States believe it or not some presidents have skipped the Bible all together John Quincy Adams for instance swore on a book of law emphasizing his commitment to the Constitution so technically Trump oath without a Bible was perfectly valid so why did this happen was it a calculated move a misstep or something else entirely here's what we know chief justice Roberts began the oath before milania Trump could bring the Bibles to the podium Trump focused on Roberts's instructions raised his right hand and kept his
left hand by his side it wasn't planned it was just a case of timing think of it this way ever rush to join a meeting on Zoom only to realize your camera's off yeah it's kind of like that sometimes things just happen but to be clear placing hands on the Bible is not a Biblical standard but a George Washington tradition the tradition of taking the presidential oath with one hand on a Bible has been around since George Washington's time and was followed by Mr Trump in 2017 but it's important to know that using a Bible
isn't required at his first inauguration George Washington used the altar Bible from a nearby Masonic lodge and even kissed it after taking the oath most presidents have followed Washington's example Franklin Pierce in 1853 didn't kiss the Bible breaking that tradition in some rare cases when a Bible wasn't used presidents have chosen something else that symbolizes a higher power for example lynon B Johnson after John F Kennedy was assassinated used a Catholic prayer book found on Air Force 1 when Theodore Roosevelt became president after William McKinley was assassinated in 1901 he didn't use a Bible at
all honestly there are many different opinions about Christians swearing on the Bible the common view is that Christians should try not to take these kinds of Oaths in the usual way by the usual way we mean using something special or sacred and swearing to tell the truth by it like a Bible your mom's name your dad's grave or even the name of God or Jesus for example saying I swear by my dad's grave I'm not lying to you something like that when people take an oath by calling on something sacred the idea is that they're
promise to be truthful might not be strong enough on its own by swearing on something holy like the Bible it's supposed to make them more serious about telling the truth because they don't want to disrespect the sacred thing they're swearing by do you see what that means it's like saying maybe you're not really planning to tell the truth but if we connect your truth telling or lying to something as important as your mom's name your dad's grave or the Bible you'll think twice about lying that's why I believe the Bible has been used in courtrooms
a long time ago most people in the culture respected the Bible as something holy hardly anyone would want to disrespect it by swearing on it and then lying right afterward for someone to put their hand on the Bible swear to tell the truth and then lie would mean they were treating something sacred as if it didn't matter at all and the reason people with this view want to discourage Christians from taking that kind of oath is because here is what Jesus said in Matthew 5: 33-37 again you have heard that it was said to those
of old you shall not swear falsely but shall perform to the Lord what you have sworn but I say to you do not take an oath at all hither by heaven for it is the Throne of God or by the Earth for it is his foot stol or by Jerusalem for it is the city of the great king and do not take an oath by your head for you cannot make one hair white or black let what you say be simply yes or no anything more than this comes from Evil and then James picks it
up above all my brothers which is quite a statement do not swear either by heaven or by Earth or by any other oath let your yes be yes and your no be no so that you may not fall under condemnation now as soon as those verses are quoted like that usually it is pointed out from the other side well wait a minute God himself took an oath in Hebrews 6: 13-18 and Angels Take Oaths in Revelation 10: 5-7 and Paul at least five times heightened his seriousness in telling this Truth by saying he was speaking
in the presence of God or Christ Romans 9: 1-2 I say the truth in Christ I lie not my conscience also bearing me witness in the Holy Ghost I feel deep sadness and constant sorrow in my heart now let me respond to that by saying yes it's important to consider those points but none of those examples as far as I can tell lessen the seriousness or relevance of what Jesus says in Matthew 5 or what James says in James 5 what Jesus wants is for his people to be completely deeply and simply committed to speaking
the truth he doesn't want them to rely on things like fear of disrespecting a sacred object to back up their words in fact Jesus says that if you add anything to yes or no it's probably coming from evil one of the first rules God gave to people is this you shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain Exodus 20:7 there are lots of ways people break this command one way is by using God's name as a bad word or just to make a point God no I won't do that saying things
like that is disrespectful and shows that the person doesn't really understand how holy and special God's name is we should not use God's name at the end of big or crazy statements as if saying God's name makes what we say true for example saying something like it was the biggest fish in the lake I swear to God is not a respectful way to use God's name it's better to avoid phrases like I swear to God God's honest truth or God as my witness in these situations some people think saying I swear to God is okay
in serious situations for example when making wedding vows or other big promises it's seen as thoughtful and acceptable God wants us to take our promises seriously and keep them when we make them let them praise your great and awesome name he is Holy Psalm 99:3 God's name should be praised not used carelessly or as something we say without meaning the Bible talks about vows around 30 times and most of these are found in the Old Testament the books of Leviticus and numbers mention vows a lot especially when it comes to offerings and sacrifices breaking a
vow especially one made to God had serious consequences for the Israelites one example of this is the story of jeffa it shows how dangerous it can be to make a promise without thinking about what might happen jeffa who was known as a brave and strong man made a quick promise to God before leading the Israelites into battle against the ammonites he said that if God helped him win he would give to the Lord whoever came out of his house to greet him when he got home God gave him the victory but the first person to
come out of his house was his daughter jeffa remembered his promise and gave her to the Lord judges 11: 29-40 there's a lot of debate about whether jeffa should have kept his vow but that's another topic what this story teaches us is how unwise it is to make quick promises without thinking it helps to have a little background to understand jesus' words simply let your yes be yes and your no no back in jesus' time religious leaders taught that you had to keep a promise if it was made publicly using God's name but if the
promise was just part of a normal conversation and mentioned things like heaven Earth or Jerusalem it wasn't seen as binding people found a loophole they could lie or stretch the truth in everyday talks and make themselves sound more believable by saying something like I swear by Heaven this is true since they didn't use God's name directly they couldn't be held accountable Jesus challenged this way of thinking in fact all you need to say is yes or no your your words should be enough without fancy phrases to back them up Psalm 15:4 describes a righteous person
as someone who keeps an oath even when it hurts and does not change their mind what Jesus teaches in Matthew 5 agrees with this truth promises are serious even if they're said casually or in private during a normal conversation A promise is a promise God doesn't see any loopholes that let someone break their word his teaching in Matthew 5 doesn't mean you shouldn't make serious promises like wedding vows or legal agreements the lesson for Christians is clear think carefully before making a promise to God or to others since we can make mistakes or act immaturely
we might make promises we can't keep on top of that casual promises like I swear by all the angels in heaven aren't needed your word should be enough a simple yes or no should do symbol two God gets the glory with a testimony imagine this millions are watching cameras are rolling and the world holds its breath as Donald Trump takes the podium and to all the millions of people watching he shares a testimony that shows the glory of Jesus Yes you heard that right in this pivotal moment Trump Trump credits his life and purpose to
God but what does this mean for America and what does it mean for you over the years Trump had occasionally mentioned his faith he talked about praying for guidance and relying on God during difficult times but on this day those mentions would take center stage in a way that no one expected he said just a few months ago in a beautiful Pennsylvania field at Assassin's bull ripped through my ear but I felt then and believe even more so now that my life was saved for a reason I was saved by God for believers this was
a powerful reminder that even in the darkest moments faith can light the way Trump's testimony was about more than just his personal faith it served as a reminder for America to reflect on its foundational values regardless of one's political beliefs the influence of his words is undeniable symbol three a prayer against the spirit of the Antichrist about 55 years after his father's prayer Franklin Graham steps in and delivers a prayer and his introduction actually covers something that only a few people understand Franklin Graham makes a powerful reference to Daniel he says thou has said blessed
is the nation whose God is the Lord as the Prophet Daniel Prayed blessed be the name of God forever and ever for wisdom and might are his he changes the times and the seasons he removes Kings he raises up Kings he gives wisdom to the wise did you catch that he mentioned that God sets up Kings and changes times and Seasons this is in direct opposition to a man that Daniel also warned about this man turns Franklin's prayer on the head this man will not be set up by God but by Satan and this man
changes the times and the seasons Daniel refer to this man as the little horn this little horn is described as an evil man who will control everything he will have a loud mouth and eyes that draw people in he will use radio and television to gain power over the world the Bible says he will try to do what they tried in the French Revolution he will change laws times seasons and even the days of the week one thing he will do is get rid of the 7-Day week Sunday will Disappear Completely during the French Revolution
they tried a 10day week to remove Sunday and this man will do the same he will also change God's law all of God's laws which teach us how to live and treat each other this man will change because he is Antichrist he wants to make his own laws for people instead of following Christ's laws the Bible also says he will fight against God's people Christians will go through terrible suffering during this time but praise God he promises that this suffering will only last for a short time 3 and 1/2 years God says I have limited
those days I've shortened them 3 and 1/2 years and they are finished that's as much as I will allow him this time of 3 and 1/2 years is mentioned in Revelation many times sometimes it's called 3 and 1/2 years sometimes 42 months and sometimes the same number of days it is a set time when God's people will face great trouble Revelation also tells us that people will need a special number on their foreheads to go into a store and buy food this number will likely be connected to an account but without it you won't be
able to buy anything God's people the Saints will refuse to take that number can you imagine how hard life will be for families during this time this is the final Beast that Daniel spoke about Revelation gives even more details about what Daniel saw we call this time the big trouble or in Bible terms the Great Tribulation I can't tell you which ruler or country this Antichrist will come from but people often like to guess pointing to world leaders and saying this is him the Apostle John even said there are many antichrists already in the world
but the big one hasn't come yet there are plenty of people who want to act like Christ who want to be saviors to their people some want to be worshiped make laws or change them these are the smaller antichrists but the one we're waiting for hasn't come yet when he does I won't need to tell you who he is from everything I've said you'll already know and you'll realize we're in the final moments however Daniel does not leave us in this terrible State now let's look at something more positive and wonderful the scene shift from
Earth to Heaven just like in the Book of Revelation one moment you're looking at the troubles on earth and the next you're seeing Heaven's perspective Heaven and Earth are connected God is there watching over the Earth controlling it and judging it he decides what happens tomorrow he allows things to happen and he will bring it all to an end there are three things to notice here first the Ancient of Days this is the only time in the Bible where God is pictured as a humanlike figure he is described as an old man sitting on a
throne with wheels but the oldness isn't meant to make God seem weak or scile instead it shows that he has always been there while the beasts rise and fall while human Empires come and go God remains constant what a beautiful name the Ancient of Days In A Hymn we sing Immortal invisible God only wise he is the oldest ruler of Earth meaning he has always ruled these beasts these human powers are just playing their games down here all the while God Is Watching controlling and allowing everything he knows exactly what he will do the picture
of God here is amazing imagine a pile of books and God is opening them and reading from them what are these books they are records of everything people have done on Earth whether or not you keep a journal God keeps a journal of your life did you know that in heaven there's a record written for every day of your life think about what you write in your Journal do you include your mistakes and sins it's actually a good habit if you do when you write that you're just copying what's already written in God's Journal about
you God reads these books to decide what to do with people now let's take the next step God the father gives the kingdoms of the world to Jesus and Jesus comes with clouds of Glory have you ever seen clouds that look Majestic maybe you've flown in a plane above the clouds and seen how beautiful they are when the Sun Shines on the fluffy billowing clouds they look like heaven do you know God's favorite color it's white In this passage his clothes are white and his hair is white as snow white is the color of Heaven
the color of God's Majesty the son of man comes with these glorious shining clouds here's the amazing part the son of man isn't going to keep this Kingdom to himself he's going to share it with his people the Saints of the most high Daniel sees three groups an old man which is a picture of God a young man which is a picture of Jesus and a large group of people which represents the Saints of the most high here's the truth the Saints of the most high those who believe in Jesus will one day rule the
world with him isn't that incredible imagine yourself as part of the government of God's kingdom when the kingdoms of this world become the kingdom of Christ he will share his reign with his people and they will rule with him forever you've probably heard choirs sing he shall reign forever and ever but here's the amazing part we will reign with him forever and ever the Bible says so remember leaders like Hitler claimed their Empires would last for a thousand years but they fell in less than 20 in Daniel 7 we see the Saints will have a
kingdom that lasts forever a thousand years that's nothing compared to Eternity let that TR truth sink into your heart the Ancient of Days says to the son of man the kingdom is yours then the son of man says to the Saints the kingdom is yours in Christ all things are ours there's no doubt about this part of Daniel 7 it's a promise we can hold on to symbol four God's name was spoken seven times in Donald Trump speech the word God Appears seven times in the speech unlike the recent Emmys as the Stars celebrate their
achievements there's one name missing from their gratitude lists God three hours of Glamour laughter and Applause yet the creator of the universe gets zero mentions was this a coincidence or was there a deeper message behind it let's dive in together to uncover the symbolism and significance hidden in this historic moment the first mention was God's sovereignty Trump said I was saved by God here we find the first profound mention of God Trump recalls surviving an assassination attempt and credits his survival to divine intervention I was saved by God he said this isn't just a statement
it's a testimony whether you agree with him or not this moment resonated deeply with millions of Americans who see God's hand in their daily lives then Trump proclaimed we are one people one family and one glorious nation under God here's the second reference a reminder that America's Unity isn't just political or cultural it's spiritual Trump's words Echo the Pledge of Allegiance one nation under God indivisible but are we living up to that promise his speech challenges us to reflect on our role in restoring Unity under Divine principles he then says with your help we will
restore America's promise and we will rebuild the nation that we love we are one glorious nation under God notice the pattern here faith is woven into his vision of Victory he paints a picture of a Nation thriving not by human effort alone but under God's guidance for Christians this aligns with scriptures like psalm 33:12 blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord Trump's words seem to lean heavily on this truth the final mention was Trump saying thank you God Bless America throughout the Bible God often gives special meanings to simple things or ideas for
example in Genesis 9 God makes the rainbow a sign of his promise to Noah and to all people that he will never flood the whole earth again God uses bread as a symbol of his presence with his people numbers 4:7 of the gift of eternal life and of the broken body of Jesus sacrificed for our sins the rainbow and bread are easy to see as symbols in the Bible but sometimes meanings are hidden like with some numbers in the Bible especially the number seven which often has a special importance in the text the first time
the number seven appears in the Bible is in the story of Creation in Genesis 1 God created the heavens and the Earth in 6 days and then rested on the seventh day this became the pattern for the 7-Day week that we still use today the seventh day was made holy for Israel the Sabbath was a special day of rest Deuteronomy 512 so right at the beginning of the Bible the number seven is linked to something being finished or complete this meaning continues throughout the Bible where seven often represents completeness or Divine Perfection for example animals
had to be at least 7 days old before they could be used for sacrifices non the man with Leprosy was told to wash in the Jordan River seven times to be completely healed Joshua was told to March around the city of Jericho for seven days and on the seventh day he was to March around seven times with seven priests blowing seven trumpets in all these stories the number seven points to something being finished or a task being completed by God's command interestingly Man was created on the sixth day of creation in some parts of the
Bible the number six is connected to Mankind in Revelation the number of the Beast is called the number of a man that number is 666 Revelation 13:18 if God's number is seven then man's number is six six always fall short of seven just like the Bible says all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God Romans 3:23 man is not God just as six is not seven the number seven shows up a lot in the Bible for example there were were seven pairs of every clean animal on Noah's Ark Genesis 7:2 the lampstand
in the Tabernacle had seven branches Exodus 2537 Isaiah 11:2 mentions seven special qualities of the Messiah John's gospel has seven signs Proverbs 6:16 lists seven things God hates there are seven parables in Matthew 13 and seven woes in Matthew 23 the Bible also uses multiples of seven in Daniel 9:24 the 70 weeks prophecy is about 490 years 7 * 7 * 10 Jeremiah 2910 says the Babylonian captivity would last 70 years 7 time 10 Leviticus 258 tells us the Year of Jubilee came after 49 years 7times 7 sometimes the number seven brings us Comfort Jesus
as is called the I am seven times in John's gospel other times it challenges us Jesus told Peter to forgive someone 70 times seven times and sometimes the number seven is linked to God's judgment like the seven bowls of the Great Tribulation Revelation 16:1 or God's warning to Israel in Leviticus 26:18 in the Book of Revelation the number seven appears more than 50 times there are seven letters to seven churches in Asia and seven spirits before God's throne there are seven golden lampstands Seven Stars in jesus' hand Seven Seals of God's judgment and seven angels
with seven trumpets in Revelation the number seven seems to mean completeness the seven churches represent the whole body of Christ The Seven Seals show God's complete judgment on a sinful world and Revelation itself with all its sevens is the last part of God's word to us re revelation 22 says God's word is complete but not every time the Bible uses the number seven does it mean something special sometimes seven is just seven we have to be careful not to make up meanings when the Bible doesn't explain them a lot of people are confused about the
Bible what if there was a complete animation of the Bible Well a channel has done that to watch that click here
