welcome back gareth of channel profits here today i have two fantastic evergreen faceless channels in the self-improvement niche that are making some serious passive income these channels are only uploading one to two times per month and even with posting gaps of eight and nine months on each channel they are still making upwards of fourteen thousand dollars per month in ad revenue alone although pinning down exactly how much they are making has been difficult due to the breaks i still wanted to show you these channels for that very reason so you can see what's possible when
you've built an evergreen youtube asset yes they have the size but this shows how good evergreen self-improvement content is some of the videos are getting thousands of views per hour after over two years as always i'll link to the channels in the video description along with more free youtube training if you would like to discover more about building channels for profit the first channel is called better than yesterday they use whiteboard style explainer videos with voiceovers they currently have over 1.9 million subscribers and even with the slow uploads are gaining about 50 to 60 000
more each month their channel is basically growing itself now there is no fixed type of content that is working better for them but the videos with the most views are on motivation and productivity hacks it's difficult to see exactly how much they are making in ad revenue due to their infrequent posting and what socialblade shows us but based on their daily views of about 70 000 i would estimate they are making about 12 000 per month other than the ad revenue they don't appear to be monetizing their channel in other ways if i was to
increase their channel's profit it would be by adding affiliate links to the video descriptions and building a newsletter to recommend more products and services there are so many things they could be selling in the self-improvement niche anything from productivity apps online courses and self-help books their audience is a huge growth space with people crying out for more with a little work i feel like they could easily 10x the income of this channel the second channel is called improvement pill they also use whiteboard animation style of videos though the professionalism of their content has gone up
recently so it looks like they're investing in growth again after taking a break the channel is a beast with over 3 million subscribers they also took a seven a month break and still got fifty to sixty thousand subscribers per month and nearly ten million views and they have only uploaded three videos in the last two months they are currently making nearly fifteen thousand dollars in ad revenue per month though i think this could be higher these guys are much more savvy than the last channel when it comes to making money they have a lead capture
page to build an email list with this they could market affiliate self-help offers each week this would dramatically increase income if they are sending regular emails to keep the list active next they have some sponsorship in videos and have selected really good partners that will also be paying them affiliate income this includes better help a therapy website which is a perfect match for their audience they have a skillshare course on storytelling that will be bringing in a small amount of reoccurring income and last but not least they have a patreon though i'm not sure how
active this actually is if i was to increase the channel's profit i would be streamlining what they are already doing it feels like they are trying many things but not doubling down on anything in particular having a random storytelling course is a waste of space most of their audience won't care about this only people checking them out like me so they should create a separate channel for this i would focus on building their list and finding sponsor or affiliate offers for each video you want to condition your viewers to take a few select key actions
