I just don't. You're a Kennedy. Your last book sold two million copies.
No one's censoring you. So, I don't like that kind of instinct. It's not my It's not my kind of Right.
But they But they but they won't treat what he is saying about CO with No, of course not. No. With what?
But they should. Yes. Like like many people who've written about CO, including the US government, they got a lot wrong.
He might be getting stuff wrong. Sure. But he's not a nut.
Yeah. I mean, he's not a nut and he's not a nut about CO either or vaccines. Bill Maher goes after yet another woke idiot here live on Real Time with Bill Maher.
This time for attacking right-wingers and people inside of the Trump administration for being lunatic conspiracy theorist is why Bill Maher was forced to shut down this woke idiot. It's just this common misconception, this common thing. It's not even a misconception.
It's just a straightup lie that left-wingers and Democrats say about people who support Trump and people in the Trump administration that they are all conspiracy theorists for calling out what is actually happening in the government. Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher puts this woke idiot in his place for his lies about Donald Trump, about RFK Jr. and about the rest of the people inside of Trump's cabinet.
Let's check it out. So, you have a chunk of people and when you we talked about this in the main show, this 70% of Dem of of Americans don't want Joe Biden to run again. 50% of Democrats.
There are people looking for alternatives and I really wish it wasn't Robert Kennedy, but the DNC right now is, you know, lining up the troops and going to prevent him from doing any damage. They're not going to have debates. There's not going to be no primary debates.
He's just going to be pushed aside. If he's running as a Democrat, if he decides to then run as a third party candidate, you have a Perau situation. And why don't you like him?
Why don't I I mean, you said you wish it wasn't him. Why? Yeah, I wish it wasn't him for a variety of reasons.
I mean, you know, Kennedy said something in 2013 that uh you know, frequent guest on the show, Matt Welch, just just tweeted about was, you know, he thinks that, you know, climate deniers should be put in jail. There should be regulations against people denying climate change. His past is checkered with this stuff.
It's not just the vax stuff. I don't get into those issues. I don't know a ton about it.
That's not my area of expertise at all. You know, he said too many nice things about Hugo Chavez in Venezuela as his brother Joe has to. It's just a very weird and he's becoming more conspiratorial, too.
The sort of they are censoring me all the time. I just don't You're a Kennedy. Your last book sold two million copies.
No one's censoring you. So, I don't like that kind of instinct. It's not my It's not my kind of Right.
But they but they but they won't treat what he is saying about CO with No, of course not. No. With but they should.
Yes. I mean like like many people who've written about CO including the US government. They got a lot wrong.
[laughter] He might be getting stuff wrong but he's not a nut. Yeah. I mean he's not a nut and he's not a nut about CO either or vaccines.
Well, the thing about this is that, you know, and that, you know, they always anytime Bill Maher starts to push back, you know, they they bow down to to daddy Bill Maher and, you know, he's he's gonna he's going to try to back down a little bit on this topic that he's talking about with RFK Jr. where, you know, he's trying to say he he is trying to tell Bill Maher here that RFK Jr. is a nut for the things that he's saying about jabs and and the beer bug and all that stuff.
And when Bill Maher says, "Well, he's not a nut. He's he's no more nutty. " Maybe he's wrong about a few things here and there when it comes to it, but he's no more nutty than the US government or the world governments are and the way that they they handled the the co situation.
And he says, "Well, yeah, of course, you know, blah, blah, blah. " And and also the statement that he made to Bill Maher here about RFK Jr. and people not being censored because your book sold whatever it was 1.
5 million copies or whatever it was that he said. That's just pretty stupid because there's many documentaries and things that have been banned off of a lot of lot of streaming platforms, but then one streaming platform will let it slip through and then it just goes viral off that, you know, or it gets on Amazon and that, you know, and the the um the documentary goes viral from that, whatever. But also like if he's not being if it's not allowed to be promoted the things that he's saying in his book and things like that is not allowed to be referenced as a a source which it's it's not you know it's it's not allowed to to promote that that kind of stuff on YouTube etc.
then then that is censorship. If if people are being silenced on certain platforms because they disagree, the platform disagrees with their opinion or the their their facts that they're bringing and then their assessment of those facts, then that's censorship. You know, that's kind of the definition of censorship.
Just because a book sells a lot of money doesn't mean a person's not censored. Right? There's Nick Fuentes who's banned off of every major platform and the guy still sells a ton of merch.
Is he not being censored? The guy is debanked. no fly listed, you know, and and like whether or not you agree with him, that is censorship, but he still makes money off of his merch sales and things like that, but he's still censored.
It's just a nonsensical argument. It's hard to tell these days. It's hard to tell because you could get kicked off of Facebook, of YouTube, of all this stuff for saying that this came from a lab in Wuhan, not from a wet market in Wuhan, but the lab that did bad viruses that was down the street.
That peak got people like lots of people, not just like a one errant person that was kicked off once. No, this was very, very common. That was all of these things you couldn't say then, which are now conventional wisdom.
And what we know about medicine is always changing on a day-to-day basis. I mean, just last year, they got metabolism wrong. They came out with this big report that said, "We'd always thought it was slow down in age, and it doesn't slow in age.
" That's kind of a basic part of our health. And that, and you can read stories like that almost year to year, they also got depression wrong. Oh, it wasn't the serotonin.
Okay, I'm not saying it's corrupt, although there is [laughter] quite a bit of that, too. Somehow when the when it's the Sackler family with the opioids it's like oh see corporations and pharmaceutical companies but when it's co oh no they must have everything on the up and up. Okay but say it's not mostly that they were trying and they did a great thing they came up with a vaccine which many people most people needed and have saved millions of lives.
That's true too. Robert Kennedy may not agree with that, but but your point is entirely correct, Bill, which is I think a lot of people have forgotten how we got to be successful in the West. And it is pretty crazy what Bill Mahar is talking about.
I I didn't even know that until Bill Maher just said it. If if metabolism actually doesn't slow with age, I don't really understand like that. That's exactly what everybody has been told.
I've been told that so many times, right? Everybody who has been, you know, young, which is everybody. I don't know why I just said that, but everybody, you know, at a young age is told like, "Oh, enjoy it now.
You know, eat eat what you can now because when you get older, you're not going to be able to eat like that because metabolism slows down. " So, if that is true that your metabolism actually doesn't slow down with old age, that's pretty crazy. That's that that's pretty wild because it's kind of common knowledge.
common knowledge is is a bit of an understatement for how we treat that that what we think is a fact, right? Everybody thinks it's a fact that your metabolism slows down with old age or or just with age. So, if that's true, what Bill Maher just said that that is not true, let me know in the comments because that's that's crazy.
If so, if that's really not true, that's massively different from what the the majority of the population believes. And it it's true what Bill Maher is saying. You know, a lot of these people just believe these certain things to be facts.
And why do they believe it? Well, because that's what I'm supposed to believe. And when somebody comes around like RFK or somebody like that in the Trump administration comes around and questions these things that we believe just because we're supposed to.
I mean, everybody attacks him and he's shunned from the scientific community, etc. Right? And it's only he's only shunned.
He's only attacked because he believes something or he's challenging a belief that other people have that they believe just because they're supposed to. And he's not supposed to challenge that because he's not supposed like there's no reason why. And and that's what these lefties they either don't understand or they don't want to understand because it's not good for their pocketbooks to understand.
Part of that is freedom of speech and freedom of research, right? Especially in science. In science, right?
Especially in medicine. We need people to be able to talk about the facts. And when you have some kid who works for Twitter in the Philippines censoring a Nobel Prize-winning scientist in his speaking about his area of expertise, I think we've lost the plot.
Right. And one my final point on this is the number of people that are wearing t-shirts that said, "I believe in science. " Science became this thing that was the conventional wisdom coming from the government, from the CDC.
I believe in that. That's what they're talking about. You cannot believe in science.
Science is a process. Science is always changing. And when people thought I could believe in science, they thought it never moved.
And they were surprised what it did. And that's the thing. The left, the far paranoid COVID left talks about science like it's religion.
The science. Yeah. [applause] While they're doing things like wearing masks alone outside.
Yes. The science. [laughter] Yeah.
It's it's really idiotic. And it's great that people like Bill Maher are now calling that nonsense out because Bill Maher, you know, he he is a left winger and to have people on the left who I'm not saying that he needs to completely convert to the right wing. You can believe whatever you want to believe, but whenever you start to treat science quote unquote like science like Bill Maher is talking about as religion when science is ever changing, right?
Like there's not a religion like Christianity. The Bible is the Bible. People can try to change it all they want, but you know, the original teachings of the Bible will always be the original teachings of the Bible.
And there's not going to be like a new study that comes out that says, you know, Jesus comes out and says, "Oh, actually, I changed my mind on that, guys. " Like, that's not going to happen. with science that does happen quite often where they come out and say, "Oops, my bad.
Actually, that wasn't correct. " You know, we originally said that the jab was going to stop transmission. Oops, just kidding, guys.
The jab actually doesn't do anything for a transmission. Um, it it it's actually just going to make you not catch it, but you can still pass it. And then they come out and say, "Oops, actually, guys, that's not true either, but whenever you catch it, it's going to be a little bit worse.
" And then they come out and say, "Oops, just kidding, guys. It actually doesn't do anything. But it's not because the jab doesn't do anything.
It's because there's new strains. So, you have to keep going back and getting more jabs. It's all just nonsense.
It's just nonsense after nonsense after nonsense. And I'm glad that there's people out there like Bill Maher that are willing to call that out who are also on the left wing. Let me know in the comments you guys think about Bill Maher shutting down this woke idiot for going after RFK Jr.
and going after the Trump administration for being conspiracy theorists and liars. Let me know in the comments what you guys think about this whole Bill Maher versus these woke idiots situation.
