Close [Music] your eyes for a moment. Imagine holding in your hands a letter, old, fragile, its paper yellowed by time. You can almost feel the weight of history pressing against your fingertips.
The ink is fading, yet its message carries a living power that pierces through centuries. This is how it felt for Neville Goddard on a quiet January day in 1965 when he stumbled upon letters from his mentor Abdullah. Letters forgotten in the folds of an old Bible.
Letters that once read would unravel mysteries most people spend their entire lives chasing. Abdullah's words were not simple. They cut to the core of life itself.
The creatures are never guilty for the apparent errors they commit. The Lord himself orders all actions and he alone performs everything that is accomplished. Do you feel the weight of that?
Everything you have ever seen, everything you have ever experienced, every joy, every heartbreak, every so-called failure and triumph was orchestrated by the very life force animating you right now. You may think you are navigating this world with free hands, but there is a deeper rhythm playing through you. Abdullah was saying there is no blame, no condemnation.
Every movement, every role is a divine orchestration. At first, these words might sound like heresy. How could God be responsible for the shadow and the light?
How could the same power create the heartbreak and the healing? But listen closely. If there is evil, I, the Lord, am the only one who am evil.
Abdullah quoted from Isaiah 45:7. This was not about a God outside of you. It was about the God within, the I am, breathing life into every moment of your existence.
And if you resist this truth, it's only because you've been taught to worship what you do not understand. Abdullah then guided Neville to a scene from the Gospel of John 4. Jesus speaking to the Samaritan woman.
Woman, believe me, the hour comes when neither on this mountain nor in Jerusalem will you worship the Father. You worship what you do not know. We worship what we know.
For salvation is of the Jews. What does that mean? Not in the literal historical sense, but in the spiritual sense.
Abdullah revealed that the word Jew or Yahudah contains within it the very name of God. Yad he vow with the insertion of a single letter Dalit the D. That one letter changes everything.
Judah, the fourth son of Jacob, is always listed fourth among the 12. Yet in the book of Revelation, he is the first to be sealed, the first redeemed. Why?
Because Judah, Yehuda, symbolizes the praise of God. The state of consciousness that recognizes the child, the Christos within. Abdullah was saying, "Salvation comes from those who awaken to this presence.
Not those born of a particular bloodline, but those born of faith as Abraham was. Those who hold the promise even in the darkest hour. who refused to condemn the world for the roles it plays.
Neville realized the child Abdullah spoke of was not a historical figure but the eternal principle of creation itself. Always think of Christ as the child. Abdullah said the child is the mouth, the king, the creative word of God.
And here is the key. The entire universe obeys this child. Every event in your life, every circumstance is compelled to manifest what the child commands.
Now pause for a moment. Let this truth wash over you. Your world is not shaped by chance or by the opinions of others.
It is shaped by the voice of the child within you, your own imagination. And the question is, what is your child commanding? Neville remembered Proverbs 8.
The Lord possessed me at the beginning of his ways before his works of old. When he marked out the foundations of the earth, then I was beside him as a little child, and I was daily his delight. Can you feel it?
The wisdom of God personified as a child laughing and delighting in creation. This is not some distant theology. It is the breath moving through your lungs at this very moment.
It is the still small voice that whispers when the world around you is in chaos. It is your own awareness, your own I am speaking life into being. Abdullah told Neville, "The child is the one who experiences the emotion of delight.
It is the creative power itself that feels joy that calls forth life. And when you awaken to this, something shifts. You stop condemning others for their roles.
You stop blaming yourself for your so-called mistakes. You begin to see the divine play unfolding. But there is more.
Abdullah spoke of two births, two awakenings. First, the child is born. You hold it in your hands, a symbol of your rebirth from above.
Then comes the sun, a gift from God himself. Isaiah said, "For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given.
" These are not the same. The child represents the first awakening, the awareness of your own creative power. But the son, the son is spirit.
Flesh and blood cannot inherit the kingdom of God. Only spirit can. And when the son is given, it is the unmistakable proof that you have inherited God's nature, that you and the father are one.
This is not about religious dogma. This is about your own consciousness. There is a part of you that has always existed, a self beyond the story you are living right now.
You may think you were born at a certain time in a certain place to a certain family. But Neville knew the self you truly are has no beginning and no end. He experienced it firsthand.
He entered states of consciousness where the world stood still, literally. People, birds in mid-flight, the very wind itself frozen as if someone had pressed pause on reality. And in that stillness, Neville realized it was his breath, his awareness animating it all.
He could release it and the world would move again. He could withdraw it and the world would collapse into stillness. Can you imagine?
To see that everything you believe to be solid and separate is nothing more than the projection of your own inner life. This is why Abdullah's words rang so true. How could you condemn any man when you are animating it all?
When you awaken to this, you can no longer see yourself as a victim of circumstance. You are the source. You are the child whose voice the universe obeys.
And as you recognize this, you begin to call forth new realities. Not through effort or force, but through the quiet authority of your imagination. Perhaps you've been living in fear.
Perhaps you've been waiting for life to finally work in your favor. Hear this now. You are Yehuda.
You are the praiser of God. The one who knows the child. And when you know the child, you know that nothing in this world can stand against you.
Not because you are fighting it, but because you are the very breath that sustains it. And so Neville understood the stories of scripture were never about ancient people in distant lands. They were about you, about the journey of awakening from the sleep of separation into the knowing that you and the father are one and that every person, every event is playing the role it was commanded to play in order to awaken you.
The question now is, will you awaken? Will you recognize the child within you? Will you allow the son to be given?
When Neville's world froze before his eyes, he understood something that could never be put back into the box of ordinary thinking. He was no longer reading scripture as if it belonged to ancient history. He was living it.
He realized that the world, the entire phenomenal world was animated by his own inner being. That stillness was not a trick of the senses. It was the revelation of the eternal truth Abdullah had hinted at in those letters.
Everything you see is moved by a deeper reality. You think about that for a moment. If the world you perceive with all its movement, pain and joy is being animated by your awareness, then nothing can truly stand against you.
How could it? There is no out there separate from you. And this is why Abdullah said, "No one is guilty.
No one is to blame. The Lord alone orders all actions and he alone performs everything that is accomplished. " In that moment of stillness, Neville felt the weight of this truth.
He could not condemn the actors on the stage of life because he saw that they were fulfilling roles written by a higher hand. The same hand that animated him. Can you feel the freedom in that?
The world is not plotting against you. It is carrying out a script written by your own deeper self. But here's the twist.
You are not stuck in the role you're currently playing. You can change the script. And you do it not by fighting the world but by changing the voice of the child within you.
Your inner speech, your imagination, your unseen convictions. Abdullah had told Neville many years before, "You must always see yourself as already the one you desire to be. Live in the end and let the child speak.
" Neville didn't fully understand at first, but now standing in a world he could freeze and unfreeze at will, he knew. The child is the creative word of God. And the universe, like a vast, obedient servant, can only echo what the child declares.
Now ask yourself, what are you declaring in secret? Are you constantly affirming lack, failure, disappointment? Then the world will reflect it.
Are you quietly, persistently affirming abundance, love, and victory? Then the world will have no choice but to manifest it. This is not wishful thinking.
This is law. This is the eternal principle hidden in scripture. As you sow, so shall you reap.
But sowing does not happen out there in the fields of circumstance. It happens in the silent garden of your imagination. Neville would later teach this with fierce clarity.
Feeling is the secret. Your inner world, the feelings you nurture, the scenes you imagine, the child you allow to speak, these are the seeds of your outer reality. You cannot plant weeds in your inner world and expect roses in your outer life.
And here is the most liberating part. You are not at the mercy of your past. You can choose right now to awaken the child and give it a new command.
No one can do this for you. No one can stop you because the child, the Christ within you, is the only true authority in your life. Abdullah knew this.
He lived it. When Neville was a struggling student in New York, uncertain about how to travel back to Barbados, Abdullah didn't lecture him about lack. He simply said, "You are already in Barbados.
You went there and you are now there. Walk as if you are already there. " And Neville obeyed.
He lived in the end. He acted as though the trip was already accomplished. And soon events in the outer world rearrange themselves to make that journey inevitable.
Do you see the outer world follows the inner, never the other way around. This is why Abdullah's letter spoke of Yehuda, the one who knows the child. If you are Yehuda, you no longer worship what you do not understand.
You are not running to mountaintops or temples looking for God. You know the temple is within. You know the child is the creative voice and you know the world must respond to it.
But Neville also understood that there is a second even greater awakening. It is one thing to awaken to the child the awareness of your creative power. It is another thing entirely to receive the son.
Isaiah's words rang in his heart. For unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given.
The child is born in you. You feel the first flicker of awakening. The recognition that you are the creator of your world.
You hold this child in your inner hands and nurture it. But then when the time is right, something happens that you cannot cause by effort. A son is given.
And this son is not born of flesh and blood. He is spirit. When you receive the son, you know with unshakable certainty that you and the father are one.
that the God you once sought outside yourself is your very own being. That the Christ within you is not a metaphor but a living reality. Neville experience this and he knew the promise had been fulfilled.
He was no longer merely a man trying to use divine law to fix his circumstances. He was the law itself in action. He had crossed the threshold into the kingdom.
And yet even with this awakening, Neville did not retreat from the world. He continued to teach to remind others that they too were Yehuda, the knowowers of the child. He told them, "All the horrors of the world are necessary until you awaken.
But once you do, you will see that everything is ordered and correct. This is not always easy to accept. Look around you.
The world seems chaotic, full of pain and injustice. How could all of this be ordered and correct? But Neville knew what you will know when you awaken.
Nothing is out of order. Everything is serving the divine purpose of bringing you to the full realization of who you are. As the poet William Blake wrote, "Do not let yourself be intimidated by the horrors of the world.
Everything is ordered and correct and must fulfill its destiny to attain perfection. When you awaken, you stop seeing life as a cruel joke or a random series of events. You see it as a perfectly written play designed to bring forth the Christ within you.
And here is the great paradox. The moment you stop resisting the play, you gain the ability to change it. Because resistance feeds the very thing you want to escape.
But acceptance, the quiet knowing that all is well, aligns you with the child's voice. And the child's voice is law. Neville would say, "If you could but believe it, the unseen hand of the universe is always helping you.
" So here you are listening to these words, perhaps feeling the stirrings of something deep within you. That stirring is the child. That whisper is the Christ within calling you to remember who you are.
You are not your failures. You are not your past. You are not the labels others have placed upon you.
You are the eternal I am. The breath of God in human form. And the breath of God can call forth new worlds.
So close your eyes again just as we began. What do you want to experience? What reality do you long to step into?
Don't think of it as something distant. Feel it now. Imagine it now.
Hear the child's voice. Declare it as already accomplished. It is done.
Because when you feel it in the present tense, the world must rearrange itself to reflect it. This is why Neville would often say, "Dare to believe in the reality of your assumption and watch the world play its part. Everything you desire already exists in the unseen.
Your role is simply to assume it, to feel it, to let the child declare it. And when you do, the sun will be given. The veil will lift.
You will know that you and the father are one. And in that knowing, fear dissolves. Doubt dissolves.
The illusions of separation dissolve. You become the quiet center around which the entire universe moves because you have remembered the truth. You are Yehuda.
You are the one who knows the child and the child's voice is the voice of God. Now imagine standing at the edge of everything you once believed about life. You see the old structures, the fears, the doubts, the reasons you thought you could not succeed beginning to crumble.
And instead of panic, you feel a stillness, a quiet certainty. You know that the child within you has spoken and that its word will not return void. This is where Neville stood when he realized that life was not happening to him but through him.
And it is where you stand now. The curtain is lifting. The roles you and others have been playing are revealed for what they truly are.
Masks, costumes, characters in the divine drama of awakening. And so you stop condemning. You stop blaming.
You even stop blaming yourself. You know now that the horrors and the joys, the setbacks and the victories were all part of the play designed to awaken you. And because you know this, you are free.
Abdullah's letters whispered this truth decades before Neville experienced it fully. No man is condemned. No man is guilty.
They know not what they do. Can you hear the echo of Christ's words on the cross? Father, forgive them for they know not what they do.
And yet even as he spoke those words, Christ was not asking for mercy from a distant God. He was acknowledging the truth. Abdullah would one day pass to Neville and Neville would pass to you.
The world is animated by a deeper self and no man can step outside the purpose that self is decreed. But here is the miracle. You are that self.
You are the author of the play and the actor within it. You are the breath that animates every scene. And now that you know this, you can choose a new scene.
Do you see how powerful you are? You can speak life into the areas that once felt barren. You can call abundance into the places where you once felt lack.
You can bring love into the relationships that felt broken. Not by trying to fix the world, but by changing the voice of the child within you. Because when the child speaks, the universe obeys.
Neville once said, "There is no power outside of the imagination of man. Everything you behold, though it appears without, it is within in your own wonderful human imagination of which this world of mortality is but a shadow. So what will you imagine?
What will you dare to believe? Will you persist in the old assumptions of fear and limitation? Or will you rise now and say, "I am that I am.
I am the abundance I seek. I am the love I desire. I am the health I long for.
I am the freedom I crave. " Do not wait for evidence. Speak it now.
Feel it now. Because the moment you do, the unseen begins to rearrange itself. The world shifts.
people, events, even so-called coincidences begin to fall into place. And as you live in this knowing, you will receive the son. You will experience the promise that has been whispered to humanity for millennia.
Unto us a child is born. Unto us a son is given. The child is your awakening to the creative power within you.
The son is the full realization that you and the father are one. When that day comes, you will no longer ask, "Does this work? Will I ever manifest my desires?
" You will simply know. You will know that everything is already yours. You will know that nothing and no one can stand against the voice of the child.
You will know that the same power that created galaxies lives in you and that it has always lived in you. And from that place of knowing, your life will become a gift to others because you will see them as they truly are. Divine beings playing their roles in the grand drama of awakening.
You will remind them that they too are Yehuda, the praisers of God, the knowowers of the child. You will speak life into their dry places. You will call them higher, not with judgment, but with love.
And one day, as they awaken, they will hear the same voice you have heard today. The voice of the child, the Christ within, whispering through the wind, "Awake, O sleeper, and rise from the dead, and Christ shall give you light. That voice is calling you now.
Will you answer? Will you allow the illusions of separation to dissolve? Will you dare to believe that everything you desire is already within your grasp?
If you will, then the world must obey. So breathe deeply, lift your head, speak the word of the child within you, and watch as the universe, eager to serve its creator, rearranges itself in your favor. Because you are Yehuda, you are the one who knows the child.
You are the living Christ, the son given. And now you will walk through life with a quiet authority that no man, no circumstance, no appearance can ever take from you. It is done.
And now as we come to the close of this journey, I want you to pause for one final breath. Feel the truth of everything you have heard today settling deep within you. The child has spoken.
