strategies and psychology behind these questions you're asked if you learn the strategy and psychology tricks the interviewer is using you get to dominate the interview the whole way so let's get down to business and reverse-engineer the Emirates interview before we start this link in the upper right corner is our masterclass series on joining Emirates it's free it'll always be free and it's a goldmine trust us follow it from the beginning to the very end what type of individual would you not want to work with airlines like Emirates are multicultural cosmopolitan and multilingual be on top
of the situation by describing how grateful you are in being part of a cosmopolitan team that can daily teach you something new whether it's a custom or a way of thinking a tradition or just a habit don't walk down the path of admitting there's a type of person you won't work with it's just counterproductive working in a cosmopolitan multicultural environment is like looking the world in colors I specifically search for jobs with a blend of new cultures and backgrounds that come a long way from where I come from I'd have to lie to say there's
someone I'd refuse to work with especially if I don't even know them refusing to work with someone is a very strong statement I believe what would your friends and colleagues say about you stick to skills related to teamwork or relevant to the job you're applying for be professional at all times and keep it short use some example where you've proven your loyalty and friendship I once was with my friend Sharif on a holiday in Italy and we decided to go to these thermal baths in the countryside Shetty jumped right in and didn't noticed the water
was oddly flowing he started sliding down a stream that was headed to a small waterfall luckily I predicted it all and sprinted to the end of the stream taking him out of the water ever since that happened we talk and joke about it and he knows that I'm a very reliable person do you like working on your own or with other people teamwork is a requirement for the flight attendant position answer the teamwork is a daily bread and butter I mainly like team cooperation but I won't refuse solo tasks if any come my way I'm
super flexible when it comes down to this I'm confident that most problems can and should be quickly solved with teamwork rather than alone [Music] do you have any weaknesses yes which ones now nobody has no weaknesses don't say you have none or you'll be hammered questioned don't give your flaws to the recruiter though or she'll use them to her advantage avoid the details to your weaknesses by starting a conversation on how you overcame a challenge successfully and learn new skills and strengths within the process I was told that work that my attention to detail and
urge of doing things right 100% don't allow me to see the bigger picture of what needs priority and what not I prefer completing tasks rather than letting them go I understand that's a flaw so once I was told that I realized that I had to work on it hard so I decided to attend several workshops to improve self-awareness skills that allowed me to take up higher responsibility tasks higher priority tasks and multitasking the rest I'm now able to pay attention to detail multitask and efficiently label tasks with the right priority [Music] have you dealt recently
or not with any tough challenge at work [Music] don't put any of your colleagues in a bad light don't attribute faults to others focus entirely on issues complaints and problems you have to solve pay 100% of your attention to the problem-solving side your workarounds and strategies use to solve the issues don't pay attention to the problem itself [Music] our company recently introduced new bakery items such as croissants garlic bread doughnuts on board that indeed improved our service but being wrapped in plastic made it so much slower getting passengers upset and so impatient so we gave
feedback to our seniors and encouraged a plastic free catering that would not only save money and time to the company but also would pollute less and get passengers less upset we also recommended management to open a messaging system between catering and our department to address simple problems like these just a little bit faster this messaging system is now implemented and adopted and yeah it's a direct communication between both departments and I go quite proud about it because as my idea now that's it for today's video we want to thank you for watching till the very
