hello I'm delighted that you guys are back um I'm going to be talking about how to make the most of capitaltrades. com when sourcing new trades and I just want to set the record straight with you guys on a few points regarding political trading before we get into the details so without further Ado let's get started without any more delay um first off in order to address and actually trade based upon the trading habits that members of Congress and other Federal officials have there was a thing called the stock act and this stock act required all Securities transactions with a value of over one thousand dollars to be disclosed by those individuals within 30 days of receiving notice of the transaction and within 45 days of the transaction date furthermore it mandated that the filings be published online so for anybody that doesn't understand let me just put this in simple terms let's just say we have a House member Nancy Pelosi and either her or her husband because we actually track both um the actual politician and their spouse they're both legally required to send all of their information to these online sources such as the SEC all right they have basically 45 days to disclose the trades to the SEC they can they can disclose it and most of them actually disclose it within a week believe it or not some of them also disclose them 400 Days Later and they get penalized for that uh but we don't get to see any of their trades that are less than a thousand dollars and that's okay with me honestly because you know people are making trades within their accounts and especially these politicians they have millions of dollars if they buy or sell a thousand dollars of a stock do we really want to see that no we want to see the big purchases you know when they spend fifteen thousand dollars fifty thousand dollars a million dollars we want to see those transactions now before we get into Capital trades and there is a lot of stuff that we're going to be covering in today's video so in order to help you guys understand I have created an article and I'll actually pull it up right now to access this article you need to scroll down to the politician trading section and then there's a subsection called learn more about the following subjects and this stock act link right here will take you to that article so we are now here and I have said this in every single video with every article that I present to you in any articles that you find um on this program you need to read them you need to understand them read them three times if that's what it takes look up any stock terminology you don't understand there's going to be a lot of words in here that make no sense you need to understand everything before actually going through and sourcing these trades because the more you understand how the market works the more you understand how to actually make money okay it is interlinked and that's just how it works so like we've got a pretty lengthy article here for you guys just about the stock act so I'm going to start off with the introduction here and then we're going to look at the key takeaways and then we will jump in and actually show you how to use this website to your advantage all right so the stock act what is it the stop trading on Congressional knowledge Act of 2012 also known as the stock Act was passed into law in response to Media stories that criticized members of the US Congress for trading stocks particularly during the 2008 financial crisis in the 2009 and 2010 debate over the Affordable Care Act and if you guys are wondering is actually Barack Obama that passed this bill he was president in 2012. the stock Act passed in 1978 significantly increased the reporting requirements for Securities transactions by congressmen and other high-ranking Federal officials so this was just the beginning of all of this so in 1978 they started to put restrictions on politicians when it comes to trading the stock market additionally it was made clear that congressmen and women are prohibited from trading on material non-public information by U.
S Securities laws okay so let's go to the key takeaways following repeated admissions by some members of Congress of engaging in extensive stock trading the stock Act was passed in April 2012 with strong bipartisan support by requiring monthly reports it significantly increased the disclosure specifications of congressional Representatives Securities and transactions the Law's Provisions have not always been followed and new Congressional trading disputes have surfaced in connection with the kova 19 pandemic and you drop everything right now pause this video I want you guys to go on Google and look up politicians that traded stocks uh during the covid-19 uh pandemic there were several politicians that were on private committees that had you know meetings because they said on private committees these people have meetings that isn't made public so these people were obviously talking about a potential lockdown in this country in January and February and they went ahead and sold all of their stocks and they started buying up all of these manufacturers of you know PPE equipment protective gear equipment uh and all this stuff and it was blatant insider trading and nobody got in trouble it is ridiculous so regardless of the fact that they still that they have to report their stock transactions yes that might have scared off the mo like the majority of politicians that would have you know done insider trading or committed insider trading that doesn't eliminate the you know the politicians that got some real balls if you will uh some of these politicians just do not care like Nancy Pelosi and her husband and you know a lot of these other politicians they just don't care and we can profit off of it all day and there has been talks of uh potentially Banning trading period this is coming from both both parties but weirdly enough as of now it's just Josh Hawley and AOC complete Polar Opposites but they are both trying to pass the same bill and nobody else wants to because everybody's taking advantage of it and you know these two politicians in particular don't trade the stock market they just buy regular bonds but anyway to close my point here there are politicians that still exist that trade the stock market and they just don't care they blatantly inside a trade all the time and we can see that um as of February 2022 there were several bills in Congress that would forbid members from Trading individual stocks and mandate that they Place their Assets in blind trusts okay so that's going to wrap up the stock act there's a lot of information a lot of important information that you guys need to learn learn about and read and take notes and like I said read it a lot read it over and over until you fully understand what's going on all right let's jump into capitaltrades. com all right this is a packed website I'm basically just going to go through how I would even begin so I'll just go on this website I may or may not already have a stock in mind that I want to research but I want to show you how to do everything and this like I said this is probably the longest video I make because there's so much to unpack here and unravel so first thing I want to show you is all of these sub sections on your front screen here they can all be quickly accessed on these front tabs here so basically if I clicked latest stock trades it would actually just take me to the trade section if I clicked issuers it would take me to the featured issuers if I clicked had clicked this so basically all you need to do is Click these these are just little heat maps and you know quick information it's not everything so the first thing I want to show you is the buzz section now this is where you can actually do some of the news trading I don't know if you've seen the news trading video yet but I'm probably going to mention that you can actually get a lot of your news from Capital trades um because there's so much information here and the cool thing is when there is a piece of information that comes out like let's just read one of these just just for now let's see here Congress wants gold standard back while tupperville is profiting okay what why why why would they want the gold standard to come back well you have this whole situation with bricks and you know China Russia Brazil South Africa all these countries are now you know teaming up together and they're no longer trading with the US dollar when it comes to oil and energy okay that's a big deal and the US dollar is pretty much backed by oil right now and Saudi Arabia is not looking like it's gonna hang on it's hanging on by a thread so we have to change something now the cool thing is you can see all of the politicians that are involved in trading with gold has to do with something with gold all right so you can see all of these these traders in here it actually shows the stock that they've been trading Gold Corporation so let's go ahead and click this and just take a look um this week three congressmen introduced the gold standard restoration act to bring back the gold standard if U. S banknotes were backed by gold again we'd see less money printing which would mean less inflation less national debt all right uh let's read this remember when uh we shared that Senator tupperville was stacking up on three hundred thousand dollars of gold since 2022 well gold just hit an all-time high the cool thing is that you would have been able to see this trade on Capital trades well before any of these games were made they're up 15 but you could have saw that he bought right here maybe 45 days later or just five days later which could have been here you don't necessarily have to get in exactly when they got in okay because the the trades are going to be delayed no matter what the circumstances are all these politicians trades are going to be delayed so you have to take that into account so when they buy a stock at 16 a share and then they disclose it 45 days later and the Stock's at 18 a share that doesn't necessarily mean that the reasoning behind the actual purchasing of the stock has occurred yet they might have the intuition that something great is going to happen to the industry to that specific company but it doesn't mean that it has to happen within the month okay it can happen over the course of several years even so you you just see what price they got in you take a look at why they might have gotten into it this whole gold standard situation you also take into account uh maybe what are the dark pools doing what are the people in the dark pools doing are they doing the same thing that they're are they buying the stock are they you know not shorting the stock as much as usual are are there any like is there anything news related like you have all of these strategies are all interconnected it's all art alternative data so I'm gonna flip through the pages here and I'm gonna try to find a good one for you guys um like like this one right here this is one that's actually really picking my interest and we'll break this one down um because this this example here might have not you know been the greatest so let's take a look at this one in a historic first taiwan's president met uh U.
S House speaker Kevin McCarthy this has never happened before the meeting marks the first for Taiwanese leader to meet a speaker on U. S soil while tensions between the US and China Rising on the Forefront and the crazy thing that happened was uh China actually condemned this meeting China believes that Taiwan is theirs rightfully so guess what China does they deploy warships right on the coast of Taiwan this is crazy stuff and if you if you do dive a little bit deeper you'd understand and realize what what were they even meeting about in the first place they were meeting about getting more weapons getting more War equipment over to Taiwan ASAP okay now you can start to connect the dots a little bit why don't we go back and I'll actually look this up right now what company has been supplying Taiwan with all of their fighter jets maybe some of their their Naval equipment let's look this up right now and I already knew this I just wanted to look it up for you Raytheon Technologies and Lockheed Martin they're the one they win all the government contracts okay there's actually a website where you can you can look and see what companies are winning government contracts and a really good one is quiver quantitative you've probably heard about this website it's got so much stuff it's it's a very good website the whole reason why I'm even using Capital trades well first of all capital trades is a really good website for specifically just the the politicians Trading but quiver quantitative has a whole lot of other stuff but when it comes to like you know really specific things quiver quants really not the best they're really good at bringing everything together on one page and also the fact that quiver Quant they could disappear tomorrow and then all of these videos just you know aren't going to be effective so you can actually go right here to corporate corporate Lobby LMT for Lockheed Martin all right this is Lockheed Martin this is everything okay uh you can see the last one April 1st it is April 10th right now and I don't know how delayed these are and honestly I don't use them a whole lot but I'm just showing you that it's possible to actually see this stuff so Lockheed Martin uh won a government contract for thirty one thousand dollars uh banking Foreign Relations budget if we go back here taiwan's military they just got uh 619 million dollar U. S arms boost let's read about this and this is this is how you do this stuff you have to dive deep look into articles this is directly tied with news trading the news trading video is probably going to be the exact same like you're just gonna see a repeat basically this is this is news this is big news let's just read about it because I want to show you the steps that it actually takes this is what I do all the time the United States has approved the potential sale of 619 million dollars in new weapons to Taiwan including missiles for its F-16 Fleet all right the island reported the second day of largest scale Chinese Air Force uh insurrections nearby okay so you you just have all these tensions Rising you just dive deep what companies are going to profit off of any situation that's happening in the world it doesn't even necessarily have to be about war it could be anything it could be a natural disaster okay if there's a huge tsunami that comes through and everything's destroyed buildings broken down what companies are going to benefit construction companies uh maybe some sort of marine biology company uh there's a whole lot of stuff that could be going on you just have to do the digging and figure out who in this situation is going to be profiting off of this who's going to be making the money and then you can dive deeper and look into the dark pools look into the politicians and looking into the news it is all interlinked I'll keep saying interlinked all of it is so that right there is the bulk of how you you know conduct a research when it comes to Capital trades it's it's like the best of all worlds it's where all of our uh you know indicators meet in one because we can get news here too in a lot of trade ideas so let's go to insights here what do we got insights are they're basically going to be the same thing it's basically news and it shows you which uh you know politicians are directly uh connected and what stocks are trading like we have three Democrat three Democrats here uh trading Airbnb stock okay Airbnb stock drops on a short report okay uh let's go to the Committees now this is really cool so we have multiple politicians not all of them by the way but a lot of politicians that are in the house and in the Senate they sit on private committees that allow them to see you know special information about the United States and what what they're going to do in the future and a lot of information if you think about it the government is a huge company all right they tax us we're their customers we're their brain dead customers and we give them our money willingly so they can protect us and provide us with health care and all you know all this garbage okay most of it's just spent on trash to be honest with you they they do waste a lot of money they spent like over a trillion dollars in Afghanistan and they pulled out and they left billions of dollars of equipment in Afghanistan and the Taliban just retail control like there's so much BS that goes on with our government and it's really ridiculous but like just for an example and this is a conspiracy theory here let's just say that right now in the armed services committee there were 13 politicians actually eight politicians in the armed services committee that actually trade the stock market they're having secret meetings for the past week and they're all thinking about putting in a trillion dollars which is a lot of money by the way they put in a trillion dollars into Taiwan to supply them with ships uh Aviation missiles bombs protective gear equipment all of this stuff Nobody Knows the public doesn't even know and then right before they and like present the bill to you know the senate or whatever or before they vote on an actual law they start trading stocks before they even announce it to the public okay and we can see that we won't be able to see it immediately but you can you can understand what what they are thinking because seven days later when they actually go public with this but and now it's now it's releasing that they actually you know we're trading these stocks you can see if they were buying it or if they were selling a lot of it you can just understand what what is going through their brains because I can tell you this right now there is no politician in office right now that trades the stock market and they have information that is so compelling that this is certain to happen that is going to trade the opposite of unless they're trying to cover something up they're going they're going to trade based upon their own their own Financial benefit so the whole reason why I'm even pressing these committees here is because these people have insights that people actually don't have the majority of people actually don't have these insights so the fact that we can actually see into their trades even if it is 45 days out or whatever most of them disclose it within 10 to 20 days even though it is that far out these are 20 people only the only 20 people in the United States in this Appropriations Committee that actually have information no one else has not even Elon Musk doesn't even have this information it is vitally important that you do look into these people's trades even if it is 30 days out you can get a really good gauge on what is happening in this world just by looking at at these 20 people's trades even if it is 30 days out or a month out all right and a lot of people are are on Instagram and they comment on our poster like you know that it's like 45 days until they have to you know disclose it doesn't matter these people have information no one else has in the entire world period done son and we can see that there's no way I'm not letting this slide under my belt so some of the other things that Capital trades has they this is just another way to filter it down I don't even use this uh you can just filter it by uh what politicians are actually trading in the stock market based on State doesn't really matter to be honest then you have a section where you can filter down just uh the politicians Pelosi and you can pull all of her stock trades up her last trade was published on the 7th of April that was three days ago uh she filed it after 20 days and it's cool because you can see this one here was only five days after and you can see that it was it was a thousand dollars but you can also see how much money that you know they they invested like 500 000 to 1 million dollars you can see if it was a buy or a sell a buy would be they actually purchased the stock all right and this one was they actually sold the stock so it's very simple buy sell you know it's very self-explanatory and you can really pick up and figure out what these politicians are thinking the more you look into this stuff and then issuers this is just going to be your companies the most popular companies that are traded amongst politicians it looks like probably the most popular as of now right now is Apple stock you have so many politicians uh trading this one 63 politicians shredding this one but as far as the most trades period we have 450 trades on Microsoft Corporation right now so you can just see the most traded stocks which again really you know this this is just another way to filter it down uh really the the big ones you're going to want to look into is Buzz committees and okay here's another one trades this is just all the latest trades that have happened overall so you're gonna have Nancy Pelosi was the last one to disclose any trades on April 7th and see if it was their spouse and believe it or not Nancy Pelosi really doesn't even trade the market it's her husband uh yeah so her husband what what a lot of people believe is Nancy Pelosi's feeding her husband Insider information he's trading and making basically better Trader than Warren Buffett okay that's how good this guy is so you can you can really make some money trading based upon you know this dude's trades so that's gonna wrap up this capitaltrades.
