what's up space pirates this is your Admiral The Dread pirate doctor disaster and for some reason the game devs in the gaming industry these days just cannot seem to get it through their thick heads that crapping on Gamers is going to lose them customers do you love me no these days and it wasn't always this way but these days the relationship between gamers and game developers is fairly contentious because too many of these developers are out there in the social media landscape being deliberately provocative and offensive to a large chunk of people like religious Fanatics
they are convinced down to their bones that they have seen the light that progressivism is the way to go and that everybody else is evil so they have to preach the good word and they just cannot bring themselves to shut the hell up that is what we're seeing here with the level designer for the upcoming Perfect Dark game this dude has said a series of really awful [ __ ] about Gamers which brings natural scrutiny to his employer and the game that they're working on I shouldn't have said that I should not have said that
yeah a series of social media posts of this guy have been making the rounds on social media in which he's going to war with Gamers calling us a bunch of names for not blindly going along with the pandering woke [ __ ] that we see in games these days it's bad enough when this nonsense is confined to social media though but time and time again we see that the attitudes of these people these ideologically captured woke scolds their attitudes bleed out into the projects they work on that is why this guy's Studio took a character
design that originally looked like this this is Joanna dark from the OG Perfect Dark games and they transformed her into Joseph dark with a chin that could enter into and win a giant pumpkin contest you're ugly these people are convinced that showing female characters who aren't nasty looking dudes is some kind of cardinal sin but anyhow between this employee of theirs at Crystal Dynamics the developer of the game between this employee and the design of the character which is clearly meant to be resistant to the evil male gaze these show the beginnings of a pattern
the likelihood that Perfect Dark will be good when it comes out has gone down drastically this level designer for the game has now deleted his Twitter account once his tweets became known and we're going to look at those in a few moments because I have screenshots but it's too late the damage is done it's becoming fairly obvious this is one more game that was made for the modern audience You Found Me Beautiful once honey you got real ugly [Music] [ __ ] [ __ ] sh all right folks let's talk about the unhinged [ __
] that this developer said about Gamers but before I show you what this Looney Tune decided to say I should point out that in a sane world where studios are actually interested in making money instead of making enemies in that saane world these companies would issue an apology for what this person said mind you they wouldn't have probably hired such a person anyhow in that sane world but there was a time when businesses would issue a statement after an employee said something stupid they'd say something along the lines of we respect the views and dignity
of all of our customers and the statements made by this one employee do not reflect our values as a company now it was always a bit of a cold and stodgy way that they said this it didn't feel particularly sincere coming from these big soulless corporations but at least you knew as a customer that they wanted your business and it really did go a long way toward calming people down and diffusing situations it sure beat the hell out of what amounts to outright hostility at times these days for whatever reason the people advising these companies
nowadays are telling them to just hide their employees and be quiet after something like this goes down which in my mind reads as a tacit approval of what was said I'm fairly sure this is a consequence of the entire industry being Infested by screeching feminists who can't bring themselves to denounce the radical [ __ ] coming out of their employees mouths and it's also a consequence of the fact that these big companies know that they have the mainstream media in their back pockets all they have to do is snap their fingers and those people are
going to put out spin they will do the work that's needed to contain the situation so yeah that is why in my mind these companies are no longer actually apologizing to customers and trying to make us feel better about what their stupid employees are saying saying but speaking of radical [ __ ] coming out of employees mouths let's have a peek at some of what this guy had to say these were all the screenshots I could find before the guy deleted his account like a chicken [ __ ] this first one here shows a post
talking about the actress for Abby from The Last of Us two claiming that she got death threats and this level designer for Perfect Dark responded by saying that Gamers were a mistake now let me start off by saying that if if someone was sending this lady death threats then those people are jackasses and I absolutely believe they deserve scorn we don't do that I encourage mockery because these progressives Wilt under the pressure of it they demand to be taken super serial and if you don't then the only thing they have left is throwing little Tantrums
but that is what most of us do most of us Gamers out here who didn't care for the Abby car in the last of us we rolled our eyes we voiced our displeasure and we didn't support the game lumping all of us together and insulting the entire group of people based on the actions the supposed actions of a few is a level of bigotry aimed at this guy's prospective customers that is just foolish beyond belief but here's another screenshot of what this guy said on Twitter he quote tweeted the official Halo accounts Pride month announcement
saying seeing a lot of comments turned off for pride month posts I wish all bigots to kindly F off and learn to love others for who they are gaming is for everyone everyone except the bigots and let me just say that 99% of Gamers out here by my estimation they do not give a rat's ass if someone is gay or straight or by or whatever the hell they might be we sincerely do not care but constantly shoving this rainbow [ __ ] into our faces is insufferable and the negative comments that I see aimed at
things like pride month announcements that is because people are tired of being force-fed this nonsense because not caring isn't enough for people like this guy they want us to wear our own rainbow colored [ __ ] and wave their flags and all that other stuff the worst is how people like this claim to speak for the entire LGBT community I have a lesbian friend who cannot stand this [ __ ] she's a real one and just is who she is you wouldn't have any idea that she's gay unless you knew her personally and she despises
people like this guy who's trying to speak on her behalf but moving on here's another tweet where he shows the utter contempt that he has for gamers we've got a picture of the Kung Fu Panda screaming and being scared with the caption when upset Gamers see a woman as the main character in a video game and yeah maybe when we see the woman from your game my dude Joanna dark from the new Perfect Dark is not representative of real women she looks like a dude with a square jaw but somehow these same Gamers were okay
with Joanna dark back in the day how do you explain that how do you explain how we loved Stellar Blade with Eve or heck since we know these people want to claim we only like females with sex appeal let's use Ellie from The Last of Us she is categorically not talked about in those terms at all she's not a sex icon or anything like that but at least in the first game people really enjoyed the character so yeah this dude just fundamentally misunderstands Gamers and I suspect it's purposely for the intent of furthering his victimhood
claims but in this last screen shot the dude showed a picture of angra from God of War and then he wrote this here the fact that it's 2021 and Gamers still get mad over a character being black just boggles my mind it's time to grow up you racist pigs angra looks absolutely stunning once again this dude is insufferable yes angra is lovely I have no problem with the design of this character in the slightest in a vacuum the problem is Miz as so many of us have pointed out she sticks out like a sore thumb
in a game that's about Norse mythology and she takes you out of the experience she takes away the immersion she was only included for the pandering in the same way that I'm convinced this guy wrote what he wrote for the same reason for the pandering this dude clearly wants to get his brownie points with the HR ladies at all these corporations who push this garbage and circling back around to what I said earlier this dude's employer has an opportunity now that these tweets are making the rounds on social media they have the chance to make
some sort of amends they could say that they respect their employee for having his views but they also respect Gamers and they want to distance themselves from his comments they don't even have to apologize they could just basically say that but they won't because I'm sure that 90% of the people working in that studio do agree or at least they think that they must degree at least publicly because otherwise they're going to be ostracized so anyhow I think it's safe at this point to assume that the majority of this studio is infested with Progressive crap
they're compromised I'll bet that if we got a leaked slack message as we did from the obsidian Studio the other day it would be filled with damning [ __ ] in any event the only reason I'm now looking forward to the new Perfect Dark which I used to play Perfect Dark on the N64 all the time way back in the day the multiplayer versus mode was freaking Stellar but anyhow the only reason I look forward to this new game is to laugh at it but I'm going to leave it there drop your mockery of new
