So, Photoshop just got the craziest update ever because you can now edit your photos using Google's brand new Nano Banana Pro as well as Flux Context Pro, all inside [music] of Photoshop. Meaning, you can now select an area you want, type in what you want to edit, and poof. And this is crazy because now you can instantly change people's clothes, change the branding of an object, or even turn a sketch into a finished product.
Now, in this video, I'm partnering with Adobe Photoshop to show you exactly how you can use these new models natively inside of Photoshop. the best ways to use them and show you exactly why this is changing the game. Now, if you didn't know or you're new to AI, Nano Banana Pro and Flux Context Pro are AI image models that enable you to make precise photo edits using just prompts.
Now, the beauty of these being built directly inside of Photoshop is you now have exact control as of where and when to use it. And this is super important because when you use tools on other platforms, it kind of edits half of your image in the process. And because you're using these tools right inside of Photoshop, you're not rolling the dice anymore cuz you can draw a clean selection, type your instructions, and Nano Banana Pro and Flux Context Pro only touch those regions.
Now, before jumping into all, if you're new to AI or want to actually learn how to use all the best AI tools to create content for yourself or your brand, or you just want to stay ahead of the curve, then be sure to check out my AI community down below. With all that said, let's go ahead and jump right into it. Now, as you can see, we're inside of Photoshop, but I do really want to quickly show you some of my favorite use cases before we jump into how to use it, because these might actually blow your mind and make you come up with some really cool use cases for yourself.
So, the first one is selective swap. So, this one is incredibly cool because you can now instantly change the color of a car, for example. You could even change the fabric of a sofa or even change the entire painting in an image.
You can essentially use this method just to swap out anything you want in your images with precise edits. Now, the second one is easy mockups from assets. So, essentially, you just grab your asset and then a mockup that you found online and then you can just go ahead and place your logo on that product or [music] you could place it on a hat.
It's incredibly easy to use and honestly just saves you so much time. Now, the third one is scene adjustments beyond just lighting. So, for example, you could turn a clear city photo into a super foggy cinematic image or even change it from daytime to nighttime.
And the fourth one has got to be just changing your clothes. So, as you can see, we've got an image here of me wearing something completely basic and then poof, we can instantly transform it and it looks so good. And you got to remember because this is all inside of Photoshop, everything's done with layers.
So you can still use Photoshop's native core tools like adjustment layers to refine outputs. Okay, so let's now jump into it. And if you haven't already, make sure you've updated to the latest version of Photoshop in order to get access to Nano Banana Pro Flux Context Pro.
You will see that I am on the Photoshop beta, but at the time of releasing this video, it is now fully live in the main version of Photoshop. So, if you need to update your Photoshop, head over to your Creative Cloud, click on photo, and then you'll see you have a nice update button that you can go ahead and click, and then you'll be fully up to date with Nano Banana Prolex Context Pro. Okay, so now you're all updated.
Let's go ahead and show you how to use these models because it's incredibly simple. So, you can use any of these tools up here. So, you got the marquee, you got the selection brush, as well as the quick selections, [music] and you can essentially just draw over the objects that you want to edit.
But if you don't want to, you can also be pretty vague. So, for example, if we select the entire image, we can now click on generative fill. And then here, you'll see you've got this Firefly button.
And if you click on that, you'll see you now have access to Flux Context Pro as well as Google Nano Banana Pro. We can just go ahead and use this prompt. So, change the color of the books and gloves from red to green.
Now, we go ahead and click on generate. You'll see it's now generating with Google Nano Banana Pro and poof. As you can see, it's perfectly changed [music] the color of the gloves.
Now, you can go as far as to use the brush. So, if we go ahead onto these eyes right here, this time we're going to click on generative fill and we're going to do add some sunglasses. And then this time, we can go ahead and change the model to flux context pro.
Go ahead and hit on generate. And poof. Now, it is pretty wild because you can literally just select whichever part of the image you want and then instantly make images.
So, let's move on to the next one. Here you can see we've got an image of a man. And as you can see, he's not looking at the camera.
So, let's go ahead and change that. Again, if you don't want to be precise, you can select the entire object, hit on generative fill, and then we can say make the man look directly into the camera. Then we can go ahead and hit on generate and then wow.
And I've got to be honest, it is pretty wild. You can just change the angle of your face with a quick text prompt. But this next one is pretty incredible.
As you can see here, we have a picture or a sketch of a smoothie. So if we go ahead and select all of this object just because we want to change everything, we can go ahead and say turn this sketch of a blender into a realistic mockup and give it a blurry kitchen background. Go ahead and hit generate.
And this is absolutely wild. But it doesn't stop here because I've just selected this liquid right here and then I've asked it to change it. And as you can see, it's now changed it to an orange liquid.
But the crazy thing is is you can still see the background of it. Like you can still see behind it. You can see it's a clear liquid.
And then you can even go as far as to change the color of the button. So it's pretty incredible. You can make some really fine tweaks without it even disrupting your main image.
And you can also redesign your images completely. So here we've got a normal food photography image of some bagels. And then we just say turn this image into a cartoon style.
And boom. Pretty incredible. Now again, let's say you have a mockup of a product, but you have no idea what you want to do.
Let's go ahead and select this. Just like that. And now we can click on generative fill.
And we can just say create a background for my product. Hit generate. And boom.
Okay. So, as we can see here, it's only made changes to the actual part of that. We've brushed it in, but it's kept everything else the same.
So, if we actually go ahead and delete this this time because it's a white background, maybe it'll be better if we did a transparent background. But then we go ahead and do the same thing. So, I actually forgot what I said in the original prompt.
So, I just went ahead and do make a cool mockup design for my product and then boom. Absolutely crazy. Now, you can just do simple stuff like obviously changing the color of your top.
So here we can select the top right here and then we can say add a jacket. Let's go replace the white top with a jacket. This time let's go ahead and use flux context.
And then let's check this out. Absolutely amazing. Now these models work extremely well with text because check this out.
Let's grab our brush. Make sure we have our background selected. Now, we're just going to brush over this text right here.
Then again, generate [music] fill. Going to paste in our prompt. Then go ahead and hit on generate.
And boom. As you can see, it has perfectly [music] kept the same style of the text, but it's just changed what's written, which is absolutely crazy cuz if you were to do this traditionally, I mean, I don't even think I could do it. And I've used Photoshop for like 5 years, so pretty crazy.
Let me show you a quick before and after. Boom. Boom.
It's kept the text exactly the same, but it's just changed the words, which is crazy. So, there you have it. That's how you can use Nanaban Pro and Flex Context Pro right inside of Photoshop, giving you [music] pixel perfect control with incredible speeds.
Because some of this stuff would have taken me [music] hours to do. And as you just saw, I just did it all in one video, super quickly. So, just select the object you want to change, describe the change, hit generate, and boom, it's done.
Now, if you want to try this out for yourself and be sure to update Photoshop so you can try it out today.
