A man who knows exactly what falls between toughness and outright dirty play. Having received more punishment on a basketball court than nearly anyone alive. You can be sure that the WNBA will pay attention when even Shaq, the biggest fan of Angel Reese in basketball, declares, "Enough is enough.

" after witnessing what Alyssa Thomas did to Caitlyn [music] Clark. Now, let's get started. You women out there, y'all petty, man.

Hey, LeBron, you 100% right on these girls hating on Caitlyn Clark. He merely responded because enough is enough. When asked why he intervened, "Enough is enough.

" What Shaq has stated about Caitlyn Clark on the record is as follows. He wasn't always on her side. He freely acknowledged it.

Regarding Clark, Shaq stated on Angel Reese's podcast, "I was a hater because you know I'm down with you. She's not going to hit that shot. Then all of a sudden, if I tell you 10 times that you won't hit the shot and you do, then you're telling the truth.

" After witnessing what he witnessed with his own eyes, a man who had previously declared himself to be a hater of Clark completely altered his views. After seeing Clark in person, Shaq stated in an interview with Sports Illustrated, "She does everything right. " Since Angel is my girl, I never mentioned her before, but I can honestly state that Caitlyn Clark is real.

I'm trying to be angry while I watch her play, but she makes the right play and pass, and she doesn't really complain when girls try to beat her up. [music] She's fantastic. Even at this early stage of her career, she's the real deal.

What I would love Caitlyn to do is get up one time and then just slap the the She doesn't really complain when girls try to beat her up. Shaq uttered those words. [music] He observed the physicality.

He admitted it. He commended Clark for managing it with poise. And now on June 24th, 2026, Alyssa Thomas went too far in every way that even Shaq's toughness standards acknowledge.

The video is obvious, so let's make sure everyone who watches it knows exactly what Alyssa Thomas did. [music] There is no question about the facts. Players were fighting for a loose ball that was on the floor a little over 3 minutes [music] into the second quarter.

A typical basketball game in competition. However, as Clark was still down on the court, Thomas struck her neck with her hand after the ball had left the action. Thomas then went ahead and stepped over her.

There was no foul called. According to a replay, Thomas struck Clark's neck with her fist and slammed her knee into his leg while he was on the ground. Two purposeful contact points [music] on a player who was already down after the ball was gone with a referee standing right there on the baseline.

Nothing at all was called due to a back injury. Clark exited the game and did not come back. Due to an uncalled fist to the throat, the most significant player in the WNBA was sent off the field.

Now, consider what Shaq said. Clark doesn't protest when girls try to beat her up. He told Sports Illustrated.

He has observed this trend. He knows it's real and a fist to the throat while a player is defenseless on the ground. Physicality is not that.

"I believe she is being pursued by numerous individuals. The hostility persisted because some other players in the league failed to defend themselves. Therefore, I would advise her to safeguard herself.

" Then Horry made an obvious reference to Shaq. Don't let nobody try to punk you. I think I played with one of the greatest players in Shaquille O'Neal.

He remarked [music] he was pummeled. He reached a point where he just started fighting back [music] even though I am aware that he is larger and stronger than Caitlyn. You know, [music] you elbow the person who elbowed you back.

Shaq's teammate, Robert Horry, cited Shaq as the model for withstanding this kind of targeting. 2 weeks later, Alyssa Thomas strikes Clark in the throat with her fist while the referee stands by and does nothing. This is precisely what Horry cautioned about.

Additionally, Alyssa Thomas' fist striking Caitlyn Clark's throat on national television in 2026 gave them their first impression of women's professional basketball with no repercussions. Completely unacceptable. Not one, but two cheap shots. After looking at the second one on the monitor, the officials did nothing.

Physical supremacy was the foundation of Shaquille O'Neal's legacy. Every night, he was hammered. He retaliated.
