What is up, boys? What is up? I am going going to try out a new gym.
Uh, I just got off of work. I'm going to try this new gym. I'm going to try Elevation is what it's called.
Um, I am in the middle of a situation. I'm actually changing while I'm driving. I do not recommend y'all do this.
Um, [ __ ] Oh, it's elevate. Elevate elevation, bro. Yeah, we're going to try out this gym here to avoid the traffic, bro.
So, I'm going to do a little day pass and see how it is. But, god damn, I'm in my goddamn boxes, bro. Oh, man.
What do I do? All right, I found a little spot. I was trying to change while I was driving.
Yeah, do not recommend it, boys. [ __ ] this is awkward. Oh no, there's a lady coming.
Oh [ __ ] This is [ __ ] awkward. Yep. You guys don't believe me.
There's my pants. Oh, there's a lady coming. All right.
All right. Take off the belt. All right.
We're good. We're good. We're good.
We're good. I should have changed after work, bro, but I forgot. Um yeah, we're going to try out this gym, guys, because man, I am not feeling these.
Um, now I don't if you guys have seen the other videos, the new job I'm at, it's about an hour away, but when there's crashes, it takes me like an hour and a half to get home, bro. And that's just a lot of wasted time that I don't want to uh continue doing, bro. I hate wasting time, bro.
I'm already be so I always feel so behind already in life in general, you know, wasting a lot of time doing a bunch of [ __ ] boy activities and just just not being productive. So I cannot waste time. So we are going to Oh, I did bring my headphones.
Oh [ __ ] Actually didn't think I brought my headphones. I actually did. Okay, now I got to use these cheap ass AirPods that don't even work.
Awesome. Okay, all I needed was an energy drink or something, bro. Maybe they'll have something there.
Uh, we'll see. But yeah, we're going to try out this date pass, see how it is because uh around 6 around 7 the traffic dies down going from St. Pete to Tampa.
So my mindset or idea or thought process I should say is to you know go directly to the gym after work. By the time I get out the traffic dies down and then I'll be able to go and save like almost an hour of time, bro. Um for something I have to do anyways.
I have to go to the gym anyways. You know what I'm saying? So that's going to save me some time there.
Uh so I could avoid the traffic. So, that's the plan. I'm going to check this gym out.
Uh, if it sucks, I I'm going to keep trying different gyms, but this one had really good reviews, man. So, we're going to try it out. So, I'll see y'all in there.
But yeah, always try to waste time, man. Make decisions that will wa that will save you time. Stop wasting time, bro.
You do not get it back. So, let's go in there and lock in. Man, I wish I had some energy, bro.
Well, that was a fun gym session. No, I didn't. I went guys and uh they said they just do group classes.
No open gym. That's the first gym I ever hear doing that. I mean I not surprised it exists, but that's just that's just not a smart business model in my opinion.
Like you're not going to let like you're not going to have open gym, not even like certain hours, you know what I mean? So we're going to try out this other uh gym that's near here. It's like 2 miles away.
Uh, we're going to go ahead and check that out. Um, yeah, bro. But we're that all they do is group classes.
Not interested. No, thank you. No offense to the group classes, guys, but I used to work at a lot of gyms.
Um, and I'm going to be honest, bro. The group classes, they're all right. Like, like if it's like boxing or like you're learning something like that, maybe like it's cool.
um when you're beginning in anything, but will you get like as much value? So, yeah, like if it's boxing, something like that, that's fine. That's different.
But when you just want to work out, you're trying to lose weight or you're trying to hit some fitness goals. H my opinion, bro, group classes, they just don't really, especially the coaches, there just not a lot of good quality coaches out there, bro. and group classes, they they kind of train you like like some type of CrossFit um circuit style of a structure.
And I've seen a lot of people, a lot of people would complain to me about their injuries and about coaches just pushing them too hard and [ __ ] like that. So, oh my goodness, this is a terrible parking. I don't know why I cannot park with this vehicle, bro.
This is kind of embarrassing. kind of embarrassing. Let me straighten out a little bit.
Straighten out a little bit. I miss my Mustang, bro. Need to go get my Mustang.
I just feel like I'm going to hit everything with this thing. It's not even that big. I'm just used to my little ass Mustang.
All right, we're good. We're good. We're good.
Let's go get uh an energy drink or something, bro. And then we'll go to this gym. All right, guys.
So, I actually didn't take my mic in this session. I don't know why. I I just didn't do it.
Okay. I I didn't have a lot of energy. I drank a little monster and I just didn't feel it.
Or I forgot. One of the two. But anyways, I'm starting off the session with some skill work, handstands.
This is how it looks like, guys. I mean, it's not the most exciting thing, but this is what it is. Don't let all these fitness influencers fool you into thinking they're just amazing at everything they do on the first try.
All right, this is what it looks like, bro. So, we start off with some handstand work and then uh you know, there's a baddy in the back putting some weight. Oh, Lord have mercy.
But, uh we're here trying to do some negative handstand push-ups, right? Or some shorties for the handstand push-up, right? So, I'm practicing uh the same I'm practicing the movement and trying to just shorten the range so I could go ahead and get some volume in.
But, as you can see on this day, my handstand was not really optimal. Um, kicking up has always been the hardest thing for me, bro. Like, my feet just fall forward, you know?
It's a lot of shoulder mobility [ __ ] you know what I mean? tight lats, all that. But just got to practice it more.
So, yeah, just continuing to do some shorties, some negatives, whatever work I can just to get some more volume in. And, uh, went ahead and shortened the r or actually made the range bigger, the range of motion bigger by moving up on the platform here as you could see. So with skills, you ideally want to train them with high volume, so high sets and intensity fairly low, right?
Depending on like the cycle and, you know, whatever it is you're doing. But that seems to work the most, especially for handstand things like this. And Lord have mercy, the baddy walks in.
And uh here I am just trying to really focus. You know what I'm saying? Uh, she's about to do squats.
So, I got to do a prayer real quick and make sure that God guides me and gives me the energy. There I am doing my prayer to not glance. You know what I'm saying?
And I'll still squeeze in a little glance or two. I'm a man, baby. I'm a man and a single one at that.
What? Don't judge me. Goddamn it.
It's a little glance. But see, this is a difference between you and me. I'll take a little glance and then I'll stay locked in on my workout.
While you mother truckers are glancing and drooling, she looks at you, she catches you, looking at her, and you're still staring her down, looking at that booty, looking at those titties like, "Bro, no, bro. Lock in. " Look, I'm not saying never look at a chick, but damn.
So, here I am hanging up some rings. Now, that was the end of my skill training. But, um, but yeah, man, when you're in the gym, guys, don't don't be you could t talk to girls a little here and there, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time on it.
All right. Um, stay locked in, focused, and they'll actually like you more and you'll be a lot more attractive when you when they see that you're not like every other guy in there just gawking at them. You know what I mean?
And there's, you know, nice looking female. Take a little glance, but do not, I repeat, do not let her catch you guys. As soon as she catches you, you're done.
It's over. See, look at her. She's checking me out now.
All right. She's check checking me out, looking at me, putting this weight on the belt as I do my ring pipe push-ups. Baby, we are getting into my strength training.
You're going to see my nice voluumptuous flat ass on camera. I do not know why I use this camera angle. Really awkward.
My camera skills have improved. Okay, they were garbage here. So, this is how you could use a weight.
Uh, try not to smack yourself in the face here, though, when you do these weighted pike push-ups, guys. Um, here I didn't do a good job of, you know, showing you, but ideally, you want the weight stuck to your chest. So that belt.
So the way I have my belt right there, I would loop it around. That's usually what I do. Twice.
Loop it around twice. So that way it brings the weight closer to your chest, closer to your stomach body. So that way it's not dangling like that.
You see what I'm saying? You know, do another little loop or maybe um you know, figure something out like tie a knot around the the waist of the belt or the other end of the belt. You know what I'm saying?
But yeah, so we're focusing on these ring pike push-ups. Just, you know, hypertrophy work. About two sets.
I use the box to elevate my feet. Always got to be creative with calisthenics, guys. You know what I mean?
Not too much weight. I didn't feel, like I said at the beginning of the video, I didn't feel optimal here. Uh, I didn't even want to do the workout, to be honest.
And this was a new gym that I tried out, which is cool. It had it had some pretty cool [ __ ] So, did a couple sets of that. Now, I'm going to do some ring turned out push-ups right at the bottom.
Uh, you could also turn them out at the top. I chose to just do them at the bottom here to get a little more reps. Extremely difficult movement, bro.
Extremely difficult. the voluumptuous um the voluumptuous batty in the back is gone. So now I could really lock in, get that maximum stretch on the chest, turn the rings out and and push back up.
Something that I do need to work on, as you can see here, I always get I always move my neck forward, bro. I need to remember that. And I'm still working on it today.
But that causes a lot of nerve pain. That'll cause a lot of, you know, back pain. A lot of just a lot of pain um around your your neck area, trap pain.
Try to always tuck your chin back, bro. Don't let your neck go forward. Zeno, that [ __ ] up your posture, but that's also that will also harm everything you got going on in that area, bro.
There's nerves, bunch of [ __ ] going on. Uh, so we get another set of ring push-ups, finish this workout, and it it was a pretty it was a pretty good gym session, guys. Um, sorry for the lack of audio on the entire clip.
Usually I or the entire uh video, usually I have my mic with me. You know, I'm going to pump a lot of these out in succession. So these days might be you might see two uploads in a day and it's like what the hell bro?
Um I'm behind a lot of these videos but we're locked in now. So I'm going to try to get you guys up to date to where I am now in my progress in my handstand push-up journey. And you guys stay locked in.
