Meetings and Comments
Thank you very much brother Josh for getting us off to a a really good start we might just get the brothers to come and look at the iPad because it's echoing in my side ear here yeah okay so tonight we have a a lovely meeting ahead of us um we can as mentioned in the prayer we'll be able to note the reasons that we can trust our heavenly father it's always good to stop Pause and really meditate deeply why we can because that'll help us in the future we're going to enjoy the student parts and
that'll help us have ideas for our own Ministry and helping us to preach the good news this week we'll see as mentioned too in our prayer how our donations are having a powerful effect so it's a a wonderful privilege to be able to support uh Kingdom work in that regard as well are you Noble minded so tonight we'll see how we can Continue to be noble-minded spiritually noble-minded in the congregation Bible study so look out for that as well but let's uh get into things let's have a look at our Treasures he remembers his Covenant
forever and uh brother krupi is going to take us through that thanks brother krupi have you ever made a promise only to find something maybe your circumstances change and your ability to uh fulfill that promise Becomes either improbable or uh impossible it's a little bit disappointing when that happens doesn't it you know politicians are famous for their promises they're not so famous for keeping their promises though they've got a little thing they call flip-flopping which uh is a way to maneuver out of a a promise but this stands in stark contrast with Uh our heavenly
father Jehovah who when he makes a promise not he's never going to forget it and he's going to remind us about that promise and if he's made a promise to an individual he's going to remind that individual about the promise as well until that promise is finally fulfilled what we're going to talk about tonight might just plant in our mind this question how does Jehovah's trustworthiness affect me because it Should um you know if you can't rely on a politician or even a human to fulfill a promise but you can rely on Jehovah that has
an impact on how we see him doesn't it and how we serve him so it's very important first of all let's open up to Psalm 105 and we want to look at verse uh 11 five to not five 8-1 and he simply says there he remembers his Covenant Forever The Promise he made to a thousand Generations the Covenant he made with Abraham and the oath he swore to Isaac which he established as a decree to Jacob and as a lasting Covenant to Israel saying I will give you the land of Canaan as your allotted inheritance
so not only did he make that promise to Abraham but through the generations he uh reiterated the promise and made it a covenant promise to the nation of Israel and finally we know he he certainly fulfilled That but it's interesting you know some of Jehovah's promises uh on the surface might seem improbable if you take that promise for instance he was talking to not a mighty nation at that stage we're talking about a few people and in fact in verse 12 and 13 of Psalm 105 he says and this when they were few in number
yes very few and they were foreigners in the land they walked about from Nation to Nation from one Kingdom To another people so they were like Nomads if you like and they wouldn't have had the wherewith all to subdue the land of Canaan not by any stretch of the imagination this is something they would have had to uh rely and wait upon Jehovah this seemingly impossible promise yet Jehovah remembers it and fulfills it this promise to Abraham's descendants um to give them the land of Canaan for many years Abraham's Descendants were noad and then they
end up in the land of Egypt where they are enslaved to the Egyptians So This Promise of Jehovah may not have even been Forefront in their mind by this stage they may have forgotten it or it would have seemed to them to be an impossibility and yet in Jehovah's eyes he didn't see it as an impossibility at all he didn't forget he assured Abraham and Sarah sorry he assured Abraham and the Generations that followed that he would fulfill his word and we know he did he uh he brought the nation out of Israel and finally
brought them up to what he promised them that land and handed it over to them now Jehovah made many promises and most of them seemed at the time to be a bit strange a bit hard to achieve for instance he assured Abraham and Sarah that they would have a son in their old age how did Abraham respond to This he was 100 years old I have a look at Genesis 17: 177 it says there at this Abraham fell down and began to laugh and to say in his heart will a man of a hundred years
uh a man 100 years old have a child born to him and will Sarah a woman 90 years old give birth well he knew the reality of uh reproduction and they were past that so it seemed like something that was impossible but it wasn't was it Jehovah Fulfilled his promise he remembered it and made it come true in their case later on down the stream of time Jehovah made a promise to an aged Woman by the name of Elizabeth Beyond age bearing age again that she would have a son and she did that was John
the Baptist and to a relative of hers Mary uh he sent the angel Gabriel to appear to Mary and make another promise that just seemed to be extraordinary that she a virgin would Bear God's own son and that that son would actually fulfill a promise made back in the Garden of Eden thousand years before 2,000 years before so did Jehovah forget no he didn't he fulfilled his word word now it's interesting throughout history those who were closely associated with Jehovah and served him faithful witness with their own eyes that Jehovah truly is one who never
forgets his promise and always is true to his word the faithful Man Joshua is a sterling example of this and he records in Joshua 23 verse 14 he said now look I'm about to die and you well know that uh with all your heart and with all your soul that not one word out of all the good promises that Jehovah your God has spoken to you has failed they have all come true for you not one word has failed now that was from his personal experience but faithful men always saw This reality in the promises
of Jehovah a little wonder that the prophet Isaiah uh like God's word to the rain when it falls accomplishes what it is sent for and that's for growth to occur a refreshing of the earth and he said this is like God's word that will not return to him unless it accomplishes the results that it's been sent forward to so when we reflect on that our Pro our faith in the promises of Jehovah are not misplaced are they you know Sometimes when we open up the scriptures and we read some of these promises to people what's
their reaction it's like oh that's that'd be lovely but that's just a dream you know that's a pipe dream fantasy but we don't want to let that uh kind of thinking influence us into deceiving us that that's what it is because that's not what it is what Jehovah has said he will certainly fulfill and this is why we want to help people come to know God's promises don't We we want them to see for themselves that Jehovah is a God who remembers his promises and fulfills them and this gives us the determination to help other
people Jehovah himself after describing the promised New World in the Book of Revelation in chapter uh 21 when you scroll down to verse 5 there we find the guarantee these words are faithful and true again a guarantee that these words will come true we can put confidence in these Things well the example of Jehovah's promises that we've briefly looked at uh surely just reinforce in our thinking and our minds the reliability of his promises and that he never forgets what he has said and that he will do that Psalm 105: 42 to 44 brings this
to a full Circle it says for he remembered the holy promise he made to Abraham his servant so he brought out his people with exaltation his chosen ones with a joyful cry he Gave them the lands of Nations they inherited what other people had worked hard to produce Jehovah was true to his word and the nation of Israel saw that with their own eyes so let us remember everything all creation whether it's animate or inanimate is in Jehovah's hands he has control over these things and he's able to make extraordinary things what seem to be
extraordinary promises come true in behalf of fulfilling his purpose and Will towards Mankind and his people don't we rejoice in that that uh reality he's word is Dependable what God promises he will always remember to do he himself s said his words will never return without accomplishing their purpose and maybe just a final point in Isaiah 40:8 and this kind of underscores this reality and really gives us utmost confidence in the promises of Jehovah it says green grass dries up the blossoms Wither but the word of God endures forever thank you very much brother Phil
for bolstering our confidence in Jehovah's promises so now we'll invite brother ilino he's going to take us through the gems thanks brother Pablo we welcome you all to our spiritual GS for this week from the psalm 105 and to start um considering them uh we're going to read Psalm 105 vers 17 to 19 and we have um a hand on Zoom to read The scripture sister wadwani if you would like to read the scripture for us thank you he sent ahead of them a man who was so to be a slave Joseph with feathers they
bound his feet his neck was put in irons until the time that his word proved true the saying of Jehovah is what refined him thank you very much uh sister rannie for the excellent reading and uh the question is uh for those verses is how did the saying of Jehovah Refined Joseph sister maraha thank you yes uh the Saints of Jehovah refined Joseph from his experience as a slave and a prisoner for 13 years and this is how he was refined his fine qualities brought to maturity he developed the needed patience humility and spiritual strength
to handle the difficult assignment and Joseph came out as cold from the refiner fire purer and even more precious to God who used him Wonderfully there thereafter yes very good excellent yes um the sister at the back thank you cold smelted with pure gold now 99.9% pure gold first that temperature is over 10,000 de then over 3,000 degrees like Joseph he brings to him fine qualities despite being in fiery adversity therefore he is pre precious to God thank you very much really appreciate your thoughts as well thank you very much for covering this Point and
now uh we um would like to go to the next section what spiritual gems from this week's Bible reading would you like to share sister Jasmine Cox thank you in Psalms 105:4 in part it says search for Jehovah and his strength and to search for something we know it requires a diligent effort and likely we wouldn't stop looking for something until we find it so we should show earnest Us an show an Earnest search for the strength that only God provides because it sustains us and gives power gives us the power to help others and
while Jesus was on Earth he used his god-given power to benefit others and not to Pro promote himself so today we can use the strength from God as we preach with boldness but we can first pray for the power beyond what is normal very good thank you very much Jasmine um sister bang here thank you We sometimes might feel intimidated by people in position of Authority or or power when striving to live by Jehovah's principle yet Psalm chapter 105 ver1 14-15 reassure us that Jehovah protect those who are faithful to him even reproving powerful Kings
to keep them safe so it is comforting for me personally to know that Jehovah closely watches over his people stepping in when necessary to prevent harm and deliver them from oppression this is part of his Covenant his promise to save guard the well-being and security of those who trust in him very good thank you very much uh sister kryer thank you verse three says boast about His holy name our clear view of our identity and our relationship with the creator of the universe motivates us to boast in Jehovah and tell others about His holy name
as true Christians we are proud to have Jehovah as our God and we boast in the privilege of knowing him and of Being used by him to assist others so let us always take pride in our Christian identity remembering that Jehovah takes pride in those who belong to him and will continue to pour out his Blessing and approval on his people excellent very good thank you uh sister Smith Angelina thank you well Psalms 104 :39 says he spread a cloud to screen them off and a fire to give them light by night so we know
that Jehovah miraculously guided the Israelites out of Egypt by means of providing a pillar of fire and Cloud that would normally appear as a cloud in the daytime and as a fire in the night that pillar actually represented Jehovah and he spoke out of it to give guidance and direction to his people so today although we don't have that physical pillar of cloud to guide us we have Jehovah's loving provision of his word the Bible and this provides Ides us with all the direction that we need to be Able to have Jehovah's promise of pro
protection as long as we follow and apply the guidance that he gives us yes very good thank you uh brother Lim Steven thank you yeah I also found verse four quite interesting where it says to seek his face constantly and if you look at the footnote it says to seek his face uh or presence and we actually learned from the scriptures that we could actually enter and and also leave Jehovah's Presence and this scripture reminded me of course we can to his presence through prayer but how often am I actually going to see Jehovah and
of course it made me think you know the more I get to be in his presence the closer I can get to him so it was a good reminder for me excellent thank you for sharing that uh brother Steven Nicholson the very first verse says give thanks to Jehovah call on his name and I thought how privileged we are it's already been Mentioned to have his name upon us but to think how many bibles actually read like this most Bibles remove Jehovah's name and this is the Hebrew Scriptures it would have been there and so
it would have been quoted too in the Christian scriptures so who are they giving thanks to who do they call upon so part of our role is to help them to call upon the true god Jehovah yeah real privilege for us thank you um brother George arus at the 105th Psalm in verse two uh The part B says ponder over all his wonderful works this was an opportunity for the nation of Israel to uh consider and remember the many acts that Jehovah carried out in order to free Israel from in slavery and to take them
into a promised land today we live at a time where perhaps the difficulties we Face uh might seem that the new systems a bit far away yet when we start to ponder about Jehovah's promises and what he will do for us very shortly perhaps in The new system a new Psalms might be written where he allows us to ponder as to how he Deliver Us from this wicked system as well very good thank you lovely thoughts too and um this part we really appreciate your preparation and your excellent comment thank you some beautiful gems so
now we have a Bible reading Psalm 105 20 veres 24- 45 and uh brother gibu will take us through that thanks brother gibu Thank God made his people very fruitful he made them mightier than their adversary who hurt he late change to hate people to Plate against his service he sent this service Moses and Aaron who he had chosen they performed his sign among them his miracle in the land of H he sent darkness and the land be became dark they did not repel against these Hords he changed their water into blood and he killed
with the fish their land seed with frogs even in the Royal Chambers he ordered the god fly to invade and not in all the territory he turned their rain to hell and sent light on the land he track their being and and threats fly trees and shut the tree of their territory he said that the loest should invite young loest without Number they devowed all the vitation in the land and they devouted the Protectors of the ground then he strick down every firsty bord in the land the beginning of their procreative power he brought his
people out with silver and gold and no one among these Tri tribes stumbled Egypt rejoice when they left for the direct of Israel had fall on them he SPID on cloth to Screen them off and Fa to give light by night they asked and brought qua they kept to stfy them with bread from Heaven he opened a rock and the water flowed out this flowed through the desert like a river for he remember the holy prous he had made to Abraham his servant so he B out this people with exilation he chasen once with a
joyful cry he gives them land of nation they inhered what other people And work hard to protest so that they would keep this darkness and observes his law praise thank you very much brother GBU so the uh study you working on was accurate reading and the three main points there are prepare well pronounce each word correctly and speak clearly so you did all of those um but I just want to focus on one um some in our audience would really appreciate how much work goes Into you giving a a Bible reading like that but a
lot of us wouldn't you prepared so well but to think that it's your second language that you're really striving to learn English the amount of preparation that goes into uh a few minutes of Bible reading would be quite incredible so we appreciate your hard work and the way you delivered it you were looking up you held your Bible up and at certain times you even were able to look at the audience so you've come a Long way and uh we know with Jehovah's help you'll continue to grow in your ability to the deliver in English
so thank you brother gibu okay so next we have our apply yourself to the field Ministry part of our meeting and our first part is starting a conversation it's house to house and uh the householder is busy so let's look in on this as sister bow takes us through it so do you think it's possible to live Forever uh thanks for calling but I'm busy at the moment I must get back uh I um no problem I see that um you're preparing dinner it smells delicious oh thank you it's a Philip a traditional Filipino dish
I have my family from overseas and they just arrived and I'm so excited I'm so happy to see them oh I can imagine it's especially true family that live far away from us um and it sounds like it's going to be a fun evening I can hear the laughing yes oh We really need this them special um they have had many unexpected challenges lately I worry about them a lot I'm sorry to hear that you know the struggling um it is hard for a lot of people at the moment and I can appreciate that you're
busy so instead um maybe I can leave this small leaflet with you um it discusses the Bible's view of the future you might find it interesting and then perhaps in a week a few weeks I can come back and see what You thought yeah sure okay short but sweet well done sister Renee I could even smell the adobo cooking in the background I thought oh maybe we'll get invited over no it was very well done uh sister Rena you're working on uh lesson 2.5 be adaptable so um and that's a common one someone's busy so
we're expecting to be able to have a conver ation but we have to expect that we're going to get all sorts of responses and you responded very well so that being Adaptable being able to consider the householders situation just leave a track but also then a followup to say I'll come back and then that way we can gauge the interest and so we're leaving it up to the householder and if they say yeah come back of course then we have to do that so um that's important part but very well done thanks sister Rene so
our next one is uh starting a conversation it's house to house end the conversation on a Positive note when a person begins to argue so we're going to see how uh brother Vino handles this uh hello who are you hello my name's Lucas how are you okay uh so what are you doing here well I was just talking to your neighbors and I was asking the question do you think that one one day it will be possible to enjoy life forever um I mean that sounds terrific but um I guess maybe but what's what's This
all about anyways we're just sharing something from the Bible so there's just a Psalm here um 37: 29 it just says that the righteous will possess the Earth and they will live on it forever and we were just sharing that hope uh really uh so God would remove the aging process but what happens if I get into an accident or or get sick well the Bible shows in Revelation 21:4 that death will be no more neither Will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore the former things have passed away so according to the Bible God's
government will solve Mankind's problems yeah okay but when will they be resolved but personally I can't really even I can't even wait 10 years for anything to like for these things to change change you know you know you heard about the election it's that's happening soon uh it's going to determine like whether We end Wars or start new ones and it also affect the economy I can't lose my job I need to support myself and also pay my bills unfortunately I really just think we need a solution now what was your name sir uh Jason
Jason I can understand where you're coming from and I can really see that you want things to get better and so do I what if on another occasion we discuss how God's government can change the life of millions of People sorry if I sound a bit Brash I just recently have a lot of things going on but I do generally uh see that you want to uh kind of encourage people and share what you believe and I am uh interested but maybe around like next week Sunday that's all right yeah maybe Sunday afternoon oh yeah
sure sounds good well done brother Lucas I must say though that brother Jason was the friendliest argumentative person that That we've had for a while but still still uh handled very well and we thank you very much because you uh only found out about the part yesterday so you did did very well and I have to say too that um you've come a long way when I seen how you've grown uh in your ability to handle parts so really appreciate the spiritual growth that we as a congregation are seeing in you so thank you and
uh in what you're working on remaining mild so you did that you're Kind of mild all the all the time you're a very laid-back brother so I I can imagine you being uh very nice and relaxed at the door but what we're always trying to do is leave it open for the future and we're not there to argue so that it takes the pressure off us as soon as it starts getting a little bit heated we just Proverbs 17:14 we want to have the discernment to see when the conversation's going down a path that Might
turn into a confrontation and remove ourselves so that we can leave it on a positive note so that's what it's all about really loving people and giving them that opportunity okay let's have a look at our next one this is a a followup so we've got uh ready to go is uh where are we there we go a and it's uh house to house offer a magazine on a topic that the per person previously showed interest In hey Emily how are you I'm good thanks I'm glad to hear that during our last conversation I remember
you mentioned that with the precies of Life anxiety and stress is something that you've been really struggling with yeah I've still really been finding it difficult especially now with recently losing my job I'm worried now how I'm going to make ends meet I'm really sorry to hear that there must must be very stressful for you actually after our conversation Last time I found something that I thought might be helpful for you it's a magazine fine relief from stress and it has a really nice article inside how to deal with stress oh that sounds nice yeah
it has some really practical points that I wanted to share with you um if you look here there are some suggestions about how to cope when we feel stressed was there a particular one that stood out to you H I like this one try to live one day at a time um I think I can Really take that on board um it's something I really struggle with yeah that's a really good one and there's a nice scripture underneath that point if you wanted to read it it's at Matthew 6:34 y it says so never be
anxious about the next day for the next day will have its own anxieties each day has enough of its own troubles thanks for that so how do you think the scripture can be helpful for you yeah I really like that scripture cuz I think it would be Beneficial for me to try and take things one day at a time rather than Focus focusing on what could happen tomorrow especially cuz it seems like everything's just getting more and more worse yeah that's a great point cuz we're all going to face stressful situations at some point in
our life but worrying about what may or may not happen tomorrow is it going to be helpful and could actually add to our anxiety that's so true well I really had No idea that the Bible could provide advice on these sorts of topics yeah the Bible gives us so much practical and relevant advice on a variety of different topics and one similar to what we discussed today and you know Emily we actually offer free home Bible studies um where you can learn more about the Bible and the wisdom it contains would that be something that
you would be interested in uh um I'm not really sure I really don't know how it would all Work and if it would be able to fit into my schedule yeah that's completely fine no pressure but if you would like to know more about this program I can show you a quick 2-minute video what happens at a Bible study that might answer some of your questions yeah sure so what did you think yeah that was interesting it definitely cleared up some of my concerns I also would like to know what else the Bible says but
I may have to Get back to you about it if that's okay yeah of course not a problem for the meantime could I leave this Magazine with you and um feel free to have a look at some of the other points in this article yeah that would be great thank you for sharing this with me I definitely will very well done sister Amelia excellent in fact so you're working on lesson 8.3 try a different approach so you uh ticked all the boxes with what we're Trying to achieve here of course we're trying to start a
Bible study we're always Bible study conscious so helps us to understand that demonstration helped us to understand well what's our literature for what's all the other literature for well that's for tailoring the kingdom message to the individual we're speaking to so if if they've got an issue with stress or something like that well as sister Amelia did she offered a magazine on the topic that was Of interest to the householder but then at the end she was able to Pivot to trying to start a Bible study and uh using the videos so if we can
get really familiar with our love people brochure and the application of it it really helps us to be able to uh have that Bible study conscious but focus on the individual in front of us so well done sister Amelia so our last uh part or student part tonight is informal witnessing tell the person about the JW Library app and help them to download it so we've got uh sister lavenir to do this for us hey I'm glad we got to have lunch today lossa how's your day been H it's been so hectic but I'm so
thankful for my lunch break me too L the last time we spoke um at the end of the conversation you mentioned that the Bible's promise for the future was appealing but you raised a question as to whether we can actually trust the Bible yeah I remember okay that's good cuz what I wanted to do today is share with you an app called JW library and you can download that onto your device and that will give you access to a very informative brochure in a digital format with an active link to the Bible for the cited
scriptures and also the video content is linked as well the brochure that I'm talking about is entitled enjoy life forever and it has um three introductory Bible lessons can I show You on my device yeah I would really like that okay so this is the app here and when I open it you can see the link to this brocher can you see that yeah I can great so if we tap on that link then we scroll down to lesson one and we tap on that and it takes us to the lesson and then notice there's
a scripture there in 2 Timothy 3:16 at the end of paragraph 2 it's partially quoted but When we tap on that then the whole verse appears on the right hand side of the page ah okay so that seems fairly straightforward um and as you say I can get this on my device too right can we do this now yes of course Losa it's a free app so you just need to go to your App Store and type in search for JW Library um and then I think you've got it now so now you click the
download button and confirm and then it will download the App okay it's downloaded will I just open it yes it'll take um a little time to download the content so that you can have that access to everything so maybe while we're waiting for that perhaps we can take a look at lesson one uh just in the hard copy version of the brochure it's actually a very easy process we read the paragraphs and then we consider the questions that are raised and we find the answer to those questions within the paragraph but if There's some other
additional thought that you want to share you're welcome to share that also if there are any scriptures um it's good to read them too are you okay if we do that now lossa yeah sounds good okay I'll I'll start by reading the first paragraph thank you very much sister krupi that was a a model of how it should be done so that was excellent so it was uh working on lesson n and 0.5 share information that addresses uh his Needs so it's very much about empathy sitting underneath the to of empathy um when we look
at this how the brothers are taking us through these individual points one from patients this one from M we we're seeing how it builds how we can help ones to have a Bible study and in fact when we look at this lesson under that subheading uh5 share information that addresses his needs it says as soon as possible address uh um try to show the Bible study so that was really well Done um so as soon as we can we want to do that and the other advantages which came through in the demonstration is that the
quicker we get to the digital version um for most ones that we're calling on that's going to have the most power one they can watch the videos and and uh see the links themselves and that means when we're not there they can feed themselves and then prepare and build so it's much more powerful than the hard copy and I'm sure we're doing that but If we can use the videos and tools we are to help prepare ones um to do this that would be great okay well done students four we did it all within time
well done that was excellent so let's have a look at our next part of the meeting living as Christians and to introduce that let's sing together reaching out so now we're going to look at the part expressions of your love and brother John Barnett will take us Through that I'm sure to all agree with me friends if I said that no one knows and loves our god Jehovah like us his people and one of Jehovah's most appealing and beautiful qualities is his generosity yes Jehovah is a generous God he's our father and in one way
or another everything we have is from him all of this planet's precious resources he gives to us the whole planet he's given to the Human family so then when we Think about all that Jehovah has done for us doesn't that touch the deepest part of your heart but it's interesting when we look back at the history of Jehovah's people the ancient Israelites the early Christians he actually invites his servants to give something back to him and when we look at our part tonight why would the one who has given us everything ask us in turn
to use our valuable things to give something back to him well the answer lies in the title Of this part expression of your love we give to Jehovah because we love and appreciate him and that's a beautiful thing Jehovah gives us the opportunity to demonstrate the depth of our love for him through our generosity it's a little bit like a father gives his little boy a small allowance then the same little boy turns around and he buys his father a gift out of his small allowance why well because he loves his father and also for
us in 2024 when we Use our time energy and financial resources to support Kingdom activities well we're showing just how much we love and support our King Jesus Christ so we have an encouraging video to watch detailing how our valuable and generous donations are used be followed by some questions so we have our video played please Brothers [Music] Jehovah appreciates the effort made by his worshippers each day to show their Love for his son Jesus in his statement recorded at John 14:23 Jesus himself made this point clear if anyone loves me he will observe my
word and my father will love him it is truly beautiful to observe how you have EMB embrace the word you are tirelessly devoting time and physical power to advance the work of preaching about the kingdom as loyal friends of Jesus and Jehovah you have also shown steadfast support for the kingdom Through your monetary donations within your means you have given generously Jehovah highly esteems these powerful gifts which are expressions of love for what his son is doing the brothers of the governing body have asked me to express their deep appreciation for the love you have
shown we want to reassure you your donations have a powerful impact since June 2020 the article series how your donations Are used has chronicled this power each one tells a story highlighting how donations are being used to further the kingdom work have you ever wondered what happened after the article was published in the following video notice how your donations continue to have a powerful [Music] effect after an indigenous Community opposed the freedom of worship of our brothers in Ecuador the Constitutional Court heard a court court case regarding this fundamental issue should the indigenous communities respect
international human rights the court accepted our reasoning and decided yes with a loving support through the donations from our Brotherhood and Jehovah's blessing on this issue the Court ruling is available and has already been used for legal argument in other similar cases and in other parts Of the [Music] world this court decision was a great victory for our brothers and sisters around the world but if we think about the community where the opposition arose we can see encouraging progress the community was surprised by the size of the organization behind the small group of local Publishers
the more the community got to know Jehovah's Witnesses the more they respected and Valued us now instead of experiencing opposition our brothers enjoy a peaceful relationship with the community for example the congregation of 53 Publishers enjoyed a memorial attendance of 106 in 2024 due to tremendous growth Africa has about the same need for new kingdom halls and major Innovations as all other continents combined the cost of Construction in Africa continues to be a Challenge in Tanzania for example where about 25 million tanzanians live on less than $2 a day building a new Kingdom Hall can
cost over $50,000 thanks to the donations of local Publishers along with those from the global Brotherhood Publishers are able to enjoy new and renovated Kingdom Halls in all parts of the world here in mafinga we benefited from a renovation on our Kingdom Hall it is a place of worship that is Respectable now we even get the videos easily truly it has given a very good witness in the community and attracted many to the meetings we thank Jehovah for this provision of support through our worldwide [Music] Brotherhood translating the Bible takes many years therefore it requires
thousands of hours of work by the translators through the donations made By the brothers and sisters we use a translation tool developed by the organization this tool helps us to translate the Bible in a clear and understandable way in certain remote areas access to the Bible is a big challenge in TBE for example a congregation had only one Bible to share among all the Publishers and that translation of the Bible was difficult to understand after the release of the kiluba new world Translation of the Holy scriptures in 2018 we had an increase of more than
20% of Publishers in just one year it is clear that the word of God in kuuba has had a big impact on our brothers and sisters we are confident that seeing the impact of your donations strengthens your faith but what if you have little materially perhaps perhaps you wish you could give more if that is how you feel remember What the Bible says about our gifts to Jehovah it is especially acceptable according to what a person has not according to what a person does not have your generosity with what you have is what shows how
much you love the Christ and rest assured your donations are meaningful appreciated and they have power it is our prayer that you will continue to see the power that your love of the Christ has on your brothers thank you for all you have done And will continue to [Applause] do so we have some questions to ask brothers and sisters so the first question is how has the use of donated funds to defend religious freedom benefits our benefited our brothers sister hega please yes it benefited the brothers especially the local Publishers they're not that many Publishers
so usually the people are They think that they can just kind of oppose them but then they took it to to the court and um the Court ruled in favor of Jehovah's Witnesses and as a result the the people got to have a better relationship with the community they got to know Jehovah's Witnesses better and they were so surprised as how great the organization is because they were only looking at few locals in the community but then they can see uh later on and respected these um local Jehovah's Witnesses and it is a great benefit
for them as a result even they are rulings uh legal rulings of in favor of Jehovah's Witnesses is still can be used legally in same cases in different countries because um they can see that they can be more respected jovas Witnesses are known better in a better light and better relationship with the community as well yeah so a lot of good come from that court case didn't It well we'll go on to our second question so how has an equalizing of funds assisted in the construction of Kingdom Halls brother Cox you can see from the
example of our brothers in Africa there's a great need there for kingdom halls and he mentioned that and Tanzania there's an average wage of $2 a day so you can imagine a Kingdom Horse costing $50,000 to build so you can imagine how difficult it Would be for them but because of that Surplus they're able to do the and build these Kingdom Halls yes excellent thanks brother limb so we can see maybe for them $2 a day is is all they have but for us perhaps circumstances are different and we could offer some more and we
can imagine the impact that could have for places like in Tanzania and other parts of the world whether it's not possible yes thanks brother Krippy yeah they just made the point although the brothers don't have a lot of means yet that they are actively contributing uh to those Kingdom Halls being built in their communities as as well as what's able to come from the worldwide uh funds so uh it dignifies them but uh in turn gives them a resource that probably exceeds anything they could have done on their own yeah thanks well we'll move on
to our third question what benefits have come from Using donated funds to support the work of translating the Bible into many languages Sister Sarah uh translating the Bible take many years of work to translator but through the donation with the brothers and sisters they able to use translated tools developed by organization and this tool helps them to translate the Bible clear and also understandable way and also to have big impact on the brothers and sisters yes thank You brother Nicholson please and we see how we're having a share in that our contributions um further that
work and there's a real focus on translation work uh the brothers really focus on that because it fulfills prophecy reaching people of all tongues and and we see practically weekly all these releases in languages we've never heard of but that's Jehovah reaching people's hearts it's Jehovah's blessing on our generosity Um can we have our sister Renee please um it was really helpful that the video guided you to the article on the particular um particular benefit or the story about what happened um in regarding the translation one there were more experiences of how um for example
Braille um is trans translated into several um volumes I can't remember the length but um it's quite a large um output of um data for the brothers to Produce but they you know really put the work in because they love Jehovah yeah yes thanks sister Rene and if we can just have our box up please brother lamb how how do we donate online it's quite easy if you go to the donation um icon down in the bottom left hand corner that's what you're going to see and you'll have those options there and you can pick
which one you'd like to donate to and if you would like any help on Using the online donation um up you can just speak to any of the um Elders they'll help you so when you think about it friends our expressions of generosity they are an expression of our worship and they greatly benefit our brothers and sisters worldwide but our generosity is also an expression of our love and appreciation towards Jehovah and his son Christ Jesus we'll hand back over to chairman brother John lovely part so now we can Enjoy the congregation Bible study together
and uh brother Jerry Le is going to take us through that thanks brother Jerry tonight we'll be looking at paragraphs 13-9 and we'll finish off uh chapter 17 with the theme was he reasoned with them from the scriptures and tonight we're looking at the conclusion of uh some became Believers that's the last subheading second last subheading and there we'll See why did the mob fail in its attack also see how did Paul demonstrate Christlike caution and how we can imitate that fine example then we will go into uh they were more noble-minded in that last
heading there and they will see uh we will see the bans respond to the good news then we'll also see the bans how fittingly they were described as noble-minded we'll see that as well and we finally we'll see uh why did Paul leave Berea and how can we Show that perseverance that's worth of imitation and what the lesson we can learn from all that we'll look at that tonight so uh let's begin our study for tonight we'll ask brother Michael J Cox Michael J Cox Marco Coos Jr to read for us uh paragraph 13 and
14 thank you Mar the M failed to put a stop to the preaching work in thessalonica why for one thing Paul and tus could not be found furthermore the City rulers were evidently not convinced of the truthfulness of the charges after requiring sufficient security perhaps in the form of baale they released Jason and other brothers who had been brought before them following jesus' counsel to be cautious as serpents and yet innocent as doves Paul prudently kept out of Harm's Way so that he could continue preaching elsewhere clearly the boldness that Paul must it up did
not mean recklessness how can Christians today Follow his example in modern times the clergy of Christendom have often insided mobs against Jehovah's Witnesses with cries of sedition and treason they have manipulated rulers to act against Witnesses like those first century persecutors modern day opposers are driven by jealousy at any rate true Christians do not caught trouble we avoid confrontations with such angry unreasonable people whenever possible Seeking rather to continue our work in peace perhaps returning later when things have calmed down thank you ra Michael the question now for paragraph 13- 14 part A it says
that why did the mob fail in its attack Sister Charlotte please in the back the mob failed in its attack because Poland cus was not found while the city rulers were evidently not convinced of the truthfulness of the Charges that's right very good excellent very good so that that's why they F the attack and uh um it mentions in the paragraph that Jason was released and other brothers were brought they were brought before them do you remember what why he was released what happened there the passage there sister Rene please um so the scripture says
that the city roles were alarmed so obviously they weren't on the side of um the Jews who Were um wanting to cause our brothers harm and the brothers were released on bail yes very good thank you also um I don't know if you had a chance to study the previous uh week but the mentions there in paragra 10 as well it says that U when when the mob proceeded to throw U the cing to uproar see they assaulted the house of Jason because they're seeking Paul and silus and they dragged Jason they couldn't find Paul
silus so They dragged uh Paul out sorry Paul Jason out of the house and and because of that they couldn't find him they threw him in jail and now he was released and later in the paragraph mentions that he was released was UN bile because I imagine that they couldn't find Paul but they dragged him because that was a house of worship and they dragged him out imagine that being dragged out like an animal that would have been very uh intimidating wouldn't It so now the part B says uh how did Paul demonstrate Christlike caution
and how can we imitate his example sister Yong Shing Lim please Matthew 106 said look I sending you out as sheep among OES so prove yourself cautious as servant and yet innocent as dos so to be cautious here means to be prudent sens sensible and Sh so je just noted that most snake are we preferring to flee rather than attack so likewise Jesus wants his disciples to Remain cautious toward the Oppo toward opposers and avoid the uh possible dangers as they carry out their preaching work so following Jesus counsel to be cautious as servant and
yet innocent as those Paul prudently kept out of Harm's Way so that he could continue preaching uh elsewhere that's right very good thank you and brother k please yeah there's a pattern here we see how even when Jesus when he the mob Turned on him uh they came after him they were going to throw him off the cliff but he disappeared he removed himself uh from the situation and here Paul's doing the same thing uh being cautious removing himself from the situation so he can preach elsewhere and that's exactly what we want to do we
want to be cautious and remove ourselves from any dangerous situation so we can continue to do the important work that we do that's exactly Rob very good That's the point and brother Nicholson please as I like that sentence the brothers have bold the boldness that Paul mustered up did not mean recklessness so it's good to know well we need boldness to preach so Paul certainly did he there was times he couldn't escape the persecution but he didn't look for it and in between when he's traveling he certainly didn't dwell on it because he continued to
have Boldness and preach even sometimes in the same cities where he was persecuted so we want to have that beautiful balance we want to be bold and rely on Jehovah and he'll look after us but we're not Reckless exactly that's the point is it very good so now let's now continue with the paragraph um other new sub heading there says they were uh more noble-minded let's listen to paragraph uh perhaps before we do That um can I have a reader to read Acts chapter 15 sorry 17 10-15 you'd like to read that for me um
pleas Angelina Schmid please act 1710 to15 please immediately By Night the brothers sent both Paul and Silas to Berea on arriving they went into the synagogue of the Jews now these were more noble-minded than those in thessalonica for they accepted the word with greatest eagerness of Mind carefully Examining The Scriptures Daily to see whether these things were so therefore many of them became believers and so did quite a few of the reputable Greek women as well as some of the men but when the Jews from thessalonica learned that the word of God was also being
proclaimed by Paul in Berea they came there to incite and agitate the crowds then the brothers immediately sent Paul away to the sea but both Silas and Timothy remained behind there however those accompanying Paul brought him as far as Athens and they departed after receiving instructions that Silas and Timothy should come to Paul as quickly as possible very good thanks for your fine reading there then now let's listen to paragraph 15 please Mar for safety's sake Paul and Silas were sent to Berea about 65 km away upon arriving there Paul went to the synagogue and
spoke to those assembled what a delight to find receptive a receptive audience Luke wrote that the Jews of Berea were more noble-minded than those in Thessalon for they accepted the word with the greatest eagerness of Mind carefully Examining the Scriptures Daily to see whether these things were so did those words reflect unfavorably on the ones in thessalonica who had embraced the truth not at all Paul later wrote to them we also thank God unceasingly because when you receive God's word which you heard From us you accepted it not as the word of men but just
as it truthfully is as the word of God which is also at work in you Believers what though made those Jews and Bara so noble-minded thank you so paragraph 15 question is how did the bans respond to the good news sister Ashley Lim on Zoom please get her comment um if we look in the study note for acts 1711 it says um the Greek term For carefully examining um conveys the idea of doing careful and exact research as in a legal process um so the examination that um the Jews in bua did was um not
superficial but they applied themselves to a diligent ongoing study daily um so we can see how seriously they they took this that's right very good thank you and brother nebil Hub please Apostle Paul is not making comparison here between the brothers and The brothers in thessalonica because the brothers in thessalonica they accepted God's word as from God not from man and uh they acted on what they learned so they were also zealous brothers that's right very good thank you and brother um Nicholson yeah just adding to brother nabil's comment that the comparison um was with
the Thessalonian Jewish people Jew Jews in Thessalonica um in general not with the brothers there so the Berean Jews examined the scriptures carefully and then became Believers um so many in thessalonica did but they didn't have that same nobl mindedness the Jews themselves as the ones in Maria that's right very good thank you that's the point isn't it so why we can say what's the twofold lesson we can learn from the ban JY there's two lessons we can learn from Them what's one of the lessons we can learn brother Andrew Wilson thank you one of
them would be to uh read the Bible daily and uh while we're reading it we've got some great references on the side we can be looking at that so we're truly Examining the Scriptures Daily yeah excellent thank you and what would the other one be brother KY please yeah as they learned these truths after their careful examination they uh Accepted them with great eagerness so it wasn't like oh yeah that's interesting and we'll get on but rather they allowed it to touch their heart and change their lives exactly that's the point isn't it beautiful thank
you very much for that now let's continue with paragraph 16 please brother Michael though the bans were hearing something new they were not suspicious or harshly critical neither were they gullible first they listened carefully to what Paul had to say then they verified what they had learned by turning to the scriptures which Paul had opened up to their understanding moreover they diligently studied the word of God not just on the Sabbath but daily and they did so with great eagerness of Mind devoting themselves to finding out what the scriptures revealed in the light of this
new teaching then they proved humble enough to make changes for many of them became Believers no wonder Luke Describes them as noble-minded thank you so paragraph 16 why did the bans fittingly described as noble-minded why they described as that sister uh Emily an please because they listen to carefully to post message without being suspicious or gable they examine the Scriptures Daily to verify what they learned and did so with eager needs their humility allowed them to accept the truth leading Many to become Believers this thoughtful and sincere approach to Understanding God's word is what makes
them fittingly noble-minded that's very good thank you and sister Deb please and the bans were hearing something new perhaps about Christianity for the first time and it might have sounded too good to be true but rather than dismiss it they carefully examined the scriptures checking to see what are the things Paul Said uh sorry checking to see the things Paul was saying were so and they did this with eagerness of Mind hence making them noble-minded excellent very good thank you and brother kupi so we we have to think these people this reading the Bible wasn't
something new to them they seem to be students of God's word um but then to have to change their thinking from what they may have understood before to something new required humility on their part and uh That's a real asset for someone searching for truth that they can humbly set aside what they may have previously uh thought and accept uh reveal truth exactly very good thank you and brother George harus please also get an insight as to their spiritual maturity with regards to these people because it wasn't just about uh studying God's word on a
Sabbath and that should be enough no for them it was a daily occurence that needed to take Place in order to become firm in the truth very good excellent and brother CR just having this approach and having the humility to change uh in light of this new new teaching uh just looking up noble-minded in the Oxford dictionary says having an honorable generous character so we see how this was exactly how they were they had that honorable uh honorable generous character because they really looked into it and they were humble enough to make that change Excellent
very good that's a point beautiful Let's uh move on then to paragraph uh 17 please brother Mar little did those bans realize that the record of their reaction to the good news would be preserved in God's word as a shining example of spiritual noble-minded they did precisely what Paul had hoped they would do and what Jehovah God wanted them to do likewise it is what we encourage people to do to examine the Bible carefully so that Their faith is solidly based on God's word after we become Believers though does the need to be noble-minded come
to an end on the contrary it becomes ever more important that we be eager to learn from Jehovah and quick to apply his teachings in that way we allow Jehovah to mold us and train us according to his will with usus remain useful and fully pleasing to our heavenly father thank you brother mle so paragraph 17 the question is uh we'll Divide the question into two the first SE part of the question is why is the example of the bans so commendable why is the example so commendable sister Ted sander in the back because they
did what uh Paul had hoped to do so precisely that uh they learned about Jehovah God and they did what Jehovah God wanted which is like to examine the Bible carefully so that their faith is solidly based on God's word that's right very good thank You h brother kupi yeah for somebody to learn the truth this is kind of like the gold standard to have that mindset and that desire and uh uh wanting to embrace the truths that they readily learned little one wonder that this has been um included in the Bible as a a
shining example of the right approach that others can follow and this is what we uh hope to find with people that we share the truth with exactly very good thank You so the second part of the question is uh how can we continue to imitate it long after becoming Believers sister Mar higga please yes um we never stop learning and adjusting as we can see in Isaiah 64:8 that Jehovah contined to train us to mold us and so that we keep on improving things that needed Improvement or adjustment and that's what we are going through
at the moment with all the new updates and probably New things learned to and so we have to be like the burans that are noble-minded instead of complaining or finding that we have sufficient knowledge we allow Jehovah to continue to teach us instruct us that's right very good thank you and brother D the back please thank you sister Higa and our father in Heaven Jehovah knows how important important it is to continue to carefully examine the Scriptures Daily that's why I recorded the example of the berance here in that chapter of Acts uh 17 for
an example for us to follow also if if we uh remember our daily text is based on that scripture act 1711 so this is a good reminder for us how it's important to continue probing the scriptures not to go only on the surface of it but if we go deep will feed ourselves properly and that will bring us close to Jehovah that's right Very good thank you and uh sister Giza please in the back and when we think of uh the scripture in in Isaiah 64 it says but now oh Jehovah you are our father
we are the cly and you are our Potter we are we are all the work of your your hand so we can see every one of us uh or most of us come from this system of thing and we were not according to what Jehovah designed and so Jehovah actually guided us to the truth and uh allowed we Allowed him to actually Rec cultivate uh re um remik us uh in our attitude and the way we were before and we became something that was in a way beautiful to Jehovah because we changed away from this
system of thing from the world we were before to something that Jehovah actually admire in us that's very good so many fine lessons we can learn from this paragraph from this study tonight isn't it about the Bans and how we can apply that ourselves too are you willing to make adjustments in your life if you read if you go through a an article or some passage in the Bible and you see you're doing something that's not right are you willing to make the change like Ians are they Noble are you Noble enough to do that
there fun lessons we can learn here isn't there let's continue now with paragraph um 18 and 19 Michael Paul did not stay in Berea for long we read when The Jews from thessalonica learned that the word of God was also being proclaimed by Paul in Berea they came there to incite and agitate the crowds then the brothers immediately sent Paul away to the sea but both Silas and Timothy remained behind there however those accompany in Paul brought him as far as Athens and they departed after receiving instructions that Silas and Timothy should come to Paul
as quickly as possible how persistent those enemies Of the good news were it was not enough to chase Paul out of thessalonica they traveled to Berea and tried to stir up the same sort of trouble there all to no avail poor knew that his territory was vast he simply moved on to preach elsewhere may we today prove equally determined to frustrate the efforts of those who want to stop the preaching work having borne thorough witness to the Jews in thessalonica and Berea Paul had surely learned to much about the Importance of witnessing with boldness and
reasoning from the scriptures we have two now though Paul was to face a different audience the Gentiles of Athens how would he fear in that City in the next we will see thank you very Michael brother Michael for your fine reading tonight so now paragraph 8 18 and 19 part A is why did Paul leave Berea and yet how did he show perseverance uh Sister lenty Ben in the front thank you Paul left B because the opponents from thessalonica came to disrupt his work there by steering up the crowds however Paul didn't let this stop
him or get provoked instead he moved on to continue preaching in a new area showing his determination and perseverance so his example encouraged us to be just as persistent not letting opposition hinder our efforts to share the good news That's right very good who example did Paul followay whose example was it that he that we read about before whose example was he following whose Council sister T sander in the back Place Paul um followed the example of Jesus because Jesus when faced with position he would uh techly um go to another place and preach that's
right very good thank thank you brother Nicholson and just just on the point of Why leaving so these the um opposite of noble-minded these Thessalonian Jews traveled 65 km on foot to get to Berea to just persecute Paul so we see the attitude there the opposite and uh it shows the gap between those that serve God and those that do not that's right very good excellent very good uh second part of the question it says U part B it says whom has Paul oh last part says whom was Paul to address next and where sister
Yol have Please Paul Wass to face a different audience the Gentile of atam that's right very good so what do we learn from the study tonight what can we take away from this sister Tander please um for me I would like to note it down on the word noble-minded um that noble-minded doesn't mean that we have to be so great no it's just that are we being molded by Jehovah in every aspect of our life daily uh no matter if How how long we have been baptized but we still need to thoroughly examine his scriptures
the scriptures and then like um to be molded by him as needed very good thank you and brother mlan please Paul was bold but he wasn't Reckless so Paul really followed the counsel that Jesus gave the same counsel that we should follow when it comes to our ministry to be cautious as serpents and you're innocent as doves so we see that we're in a territory maybe there's A situation arising let's not hang around Let's uh think of ourselves and be safe yeah good point excellent anybody John bnet please in the back and we see being
noble-minded doesn't end once we're baptized it's a continuing process so we knew need to be quick to apply any um new teachings from Jehovah and put them to work in our lives very good excellent so some excellent points and last one there Brother krippy please got you going brother an yeah we see those opposers um while while they were quite insistent they were thwarted as well because of the the way the brothers uh read the situation and acted accordingly and uh how important is it for us to do that and if we do that we
likewise can uh thwart Satan's Endeavors to cause problems for us too excellent very good so what a beautiful lesson we were able To enjoy tonight they really bolster us when it comes to Ministry using those fine examples that we discussed tonight so like to now hand the me thank you for your fine comments like to now hand the meeting back to brother uh Nicholson yes so we've enjoyed a a lovely meeting some beautiful um highlights it was nice to see how Jehovah trains us uh for the ministry through the student parts and the students did
a beautiful job of their Parts helping us to to focus on some points that we can all uh take away so we appreciate that and and that was really nice too to see how our donations are used how Jehovah blesses that and that we're all contributing to the Fulfillment of Prophecy and the the speeding up of the work globally and finally noble-minded that's what we want to be spiritually noble-minded so I think we're achieving that okay next week what can we look Forward to next week uh how can meditating on je the ways Jehovah has
helped us in the past help us today so we can look forward to that and sort of in line with what we um studied with Paul today he was bold but he wasn't Reckless so the local needs next week will be maintain safety in the ministry so that will uh flow on or tie nicely to this week as well so now let's conclude our meeting we're going to sing together life depends on God's word and then Brother Samuel I will close in prayer so that's uh the song We'll sing is life depends on God's word
summary for the week of November 4th to 10th 2024 Jehovah always remembers his Covenant from the beginning of creation Jehovah has been a god of promises throughout history he has established significant covenants with his people demonstrating his love mercy and desire to maintain an intimate relationship With those those who are faithful to him this is a central theme that fills us with hope and encouragement Jehovah always remembers his Covenant the first Covenant mentioned in the Bible is the one he made with Noah where Jehovah promised that he would never again destroy the Earth with a
flood Genesis 9:11 This Promise was not only a commitment to Noah and his family but also a guarantee for all Humanity Jehovah seal this Covenant with a rainbow reminding us of his faithfulness despite our imperfections next we have the Covenant with Abraham in which Jehovah promised him that he would be the father of a great nation Genesis 17:4 this Covenant was not only a promise of Offspring but also an announcement of the future Messiah who would come through his lineage Abraham's faith in Jehovah's Promises became an example of loyalty for all believers Jehovah committed to
being his God and blessing all nations through him assuring us that his love extends to all Humanity over the years the people of Israel witnessed Jehovah's faithfulness even though they often strayed from his path Jehovah never forgot his Covenant in Exodus 2:24 we read and God heard their groaning and he remembered his Covenant with Abraham Isaac and Jacob this powerful statement reminds us that even in moments of suffering and oppression Jehovah is present listening and acting in favor of his people in times of Crisis such as during slavery in Egypt Jehovah did not abandon his
people in his compassion he sent Moses to guide them to Freedom this teaches us that even when we Face difficulties Jehovah is always willing to help and remind us of his Covenant of Love in the fullness of time Jehovah established a New Covenant through his son Jesus Christ in Luke 22:20 Jesus speaks of the New Covenant in my blood which serves as a reminder that Jehovah has extended his love and grace to all of us this Covenant is not limited to a specific group but is open to all nations to all who believe in him
the death and resurrection of Jesus not only provide us with forgiveness But also reconcile us with Jehovah allowing us to enjoy a personal relationship with him thus as we partake in the Lord's Supper we remember the sacrifice that secured our salvation and the promise of eternal life the fact that Jehovah remembers his Covenant also gives us a hopeful perspective on the future in Jeremiah 29:11 he tells us for I know the thoughts I think toward you says Jehovah thoughts of peace and not of evil to Give you a future and a Hope This Promise assures
us that Although our circumstances may be difficult Jehovah has a plan for us a plan that is good and full of Hope as we approach the end of this system of things we can be confident that Jehova will fulfill all his promises in Revelation 21 3:4 we are promised that God himself will be with them as their God and he will wipe away every tear from their eyes and there Will be no more death or Mourning or crying or pain this is the Fulfillment of his Covenant where we will finally enjoy eternal life in peace
and happiness under his kingdom in remembering that Jehovah always remembers his Covenant we have a responsibility we must share this good news with others in Psalm 105: 8 to10 we are told he remembered his Covenant forever the word That he commanded for a thousand Generations this statement invites us to be Heralds of Truth and hope carrying Jehovah's message to All Nations every time we speak of Jehovah's faithfulness and his Covenant we are sowing seeds of faith in the hearts of those around us we must remember that Jehovah's promises are eternal and that we can always
rely on his love and mercy so as we Face the trials of life let us remember that Jehovah always Remembers his Covenant his faithfulness sustains us and encourages us to keep moving forward by trusting in Him and his promises we find the peace that surpasses all understanding with each new day let us celebrate the certainty that Jehovah is with us guiding and protecting ing us in our walk may we always remember his Covenant and live with the hope and joy that come from knowing that Jehovah never forgets his People lessons from our Christian Life donating
is a powerful way to express our love and gratitude toward Jehovah it is not just about giving money but about offering our time skills and resources in service to him and others in 2 Corinthians 9:7 we are reminded that Jehovah loves a cheerful Giver emphasizing that the attitude with which we give is fundamental our donations reflect our gratitude for the blessings we have Received as mentioned in Psalm 116: 12-13 we should ask ourselves what shall I render to Jehovah for all his benefits in giving we not only honor God but also impact the lives of
those around us Acts 2035 teaches us that it is more blessed to give than to receive and this is manifested in the joy we feel when helping others Jesus was the best example of generosity dedicating his life to serving others in Matthew 63:4 he instructs us to give discreetly emphasizing that our donations should be a sincere Act of love not seeking recognition Jehovah promises to bless those who give generously Malachi 3:10 invites us to test God in our donations assuring us that he will open the windows of heaven and pour out blessings upon us cultivating
A Generous Heart Is key to demonstrating our love for God in first John 3:17 to18 we are Reminded that we should not just talk about love but also act with concrete actions in conclusion the power of our donations lies in their ability to reflect our love for God and make a difference in the world by giving cheerfully We join in the work of Jehovah becoming instruments of his love and compassion what we learned from the study of the book in the account of act 17:10 to15 we Are presented with the story of the bereans a
group of people who distinguished themselves by their nobility and willingness to receive the truth when Paul and Silas arrived in Berea they found men and women who not only listened to their message but examined it with an open mind and critical spirit the scripture tells us these were more noble than those in thessalonica for they received the word with all Readiness and searched the Scriptures Daily to find out whether these things were so acts 1711 this attitude reflects a noble desire to learn and understand Jehovah's will unlike others who were skeptical the bereans committed themselves
to investigating and confirming what they heard demonstrating a genuine commitment to the truth the nobility of the bereans lies in their willingness to delve deeper into the teachings they received They did not settle for accepting things without questioning instead they took the initiative to search the scriptures this approach is an excellent example for us today it teaches us the importance of investigating and studying God's word for ourselves rather than solely relying on the opinions of others by doing so we strengthen our faith and develop a deeper understanding of biblical truth the bereans response to the
truth also highlights their nobility They not only accepted Paul's message but many of them came to believe this was not only a testimony to their desire to learn but also to to their willingness to act accordingly in a world where it is easy to be influenced by false or superficial teachings the attitude of the bereans reminds us that we must be critical and reflective always seeking Jehovah's Guidance the nobility of the bereans is manifested in their love for the truth and their Desire to live in accordance with it by studying God's word diligently they demonstrated
that they valued their relationship with Jehovah this attitude is is fundamental for us as Christians as it helps us remain steadfast in our faith and share the truth with others
