[Music] hello my name is Julie welcome to my channel you're watching Treasures made from yarn and in this video just right off of a Shen Sheen shine Shen sh sh yarn Hall it's now time for t- so I'm going to try to spare you and I'll probably take everything out of the plastic before I show everything cuz I was editing last video when I was unwrapping my last one the plastic was was unrailed so just going to unwrap everything but before we get into it I know one of the things in there I'm hoping is
like an insert for like a tote speaking of totes I had finished one of the the tote bag that was on the mystery yarn challenge playlist mystery yarn challenge is hosted by Lori over at armchair Chef she was doing something different for this month she gave a playlist of projects to work on and we just finished the tote bag with a very large pocket to hold one of the a large water bottle and I gave it a little beefy bottom it extends out further the pocket does cuz in theory the insert I got will be
the phone will fit that should be a spot for like the phone and that so plus I put my phone in my pocket so I thought this would be durable it looks like we could use this for travels or day to-day use or I'll probably just like all my other totes I'll just store yarn in it but I was hoping I'm hoping that the insert will fit well in this bag if not I brought the other bag I got a couple months ago don't know right here it's small enough it might fit into this bag
which I did actually also no I didn't do this did I do this for no was the it's the things we're making Thursday project because it's a yeah it was bags so this was a things were're making Thursday project I think March was March was bags so it's too small for this bag it might fit into that one so thought I'd show you the finished bag before I went on to my t- project so I'm kind of hoping the insert will fit in here so but not a big deal if it doesn't all right I
will open up this stuff and get rid of I'll take everything out and show you what I got all right well I took out the insert first oh oh I got two of them I got two inserts I think this was one of my free items for or they oh actually no they're both different but they both would go they both okay I got two different ones here I got hold on hold on I'm confused what do we got here this okay I got there is looks like Velcro on the ends here and it's got
the three Pockets that way and I got unzips pockets that way I'm not sure if it goes and I got this one oh I think it's oh yeah it goes in here because all right this opens up like this and then this there's the Vel there's velcro in here so velcro okay so it velcro into that there we got that so then I'm not sure what this is for other than it potentially I can hook this onto maybe keep it in the bag right let's see how well it fits in here oh actually fits quite
nicely well I'm going to take the water bottle out for a minute I almost wish I made it okay I think if I made it slightly taller so yeah it fits actually almost fits perfectly in here it says I'm not sure what do with the strap let me know in the comments what to do with the strap CU it won't yeah it don't it'll fit around so I got an extra strap for something not sure what that's for but yeah fits fits very well in into this tote now the tote itself is kind of the
my tote is kind of not kind of little bit flimsy and I wish I made it slightly taller because it's just tall enough to put in there yeah but this tow itself has like you can fit your phone or something in there plus it's got three other Pockets inside and plus you got a zipper pocket and here plus it's got like another yeah it's got another pocket here and another pocket here so now if I'm wonder if this would fit in the I think it might be too big for my smaller bag because I got
this bag this one might be a little harder to fit on yeah that's yeah that's it's not going to fit in this tote but I know for if I get these ahead if I get more of these I know about approximately what size to make the tote yeah this one this one fits Rel it fits pretty good in here yeah the thing is that my my bag itself is yes does not much structure to this bag yeah try but it will fit in here and I think there's a little more room in here I think
I had water bottle got the water bottle in there so yeah I'm excited that that the the tote insert actually fits in the bag I got done I might try to figure out a way if I want to make this actually part of the bag to get it to attach maybe some velcro maybe if I find some velcro I can attach velcro to to this and velcro to to that and you can velcro this in we somehow get this to fit around that I don't know if I want that showing on the outside yeah that
might be interesting I get some look at look into some velcro and putel girl that this to the somehow get somehow get this to stay I know with the water bottle the water bottle just is waiting that down so all right but for the most part the insert the insert fits in here the quality of the insert is kind of like now that I feel it it's kind of well it's not felt but this it feels like something that if we use with a lot of use it could wear out but yeah fit it fits
in there now I got to figure out like I says how if I can maybe maybe I'll look into some velcro and then I can put Velcro on this other and then it would velcro to the sides and hold that in place I don't think I can sew it in place I do have carpet tape but with velro I think with the velcro I can I want to at least be able to take this out and make other totes and I can go on that tote so all right that enough for the tote insert that's
my bag toad insert okay but now I have some yarn too yeah so I got yarn on that that I knew that I liked already and I got two pack two different color packages of that okay I know all plastic so I've gotten this yarn before it's a 50 gr ball it's been it's been cozy one of my favorite Yarns that come out of China it is it is very it is very soft I like it is very soft let's see 100% acrylic I already said it was 50 grams that's kind of I don't see
a how many meters this is or how many yards but they do recommend 4.5 to a 5.5 MIM Hook is about a ihook I think no I think IH hooks I I don't know anyway 4.5 to a 5.5 Miller so I'll probably like I would probably use a g or an H hook with this probably no higher than a i so yeah these are these are definitely one of my favorites so here we go we got one of pink I had two packages so I got one that's pink so I'm I'm going to put it
in this other bag it's like right now here's a red one oh is that a okay that's that's an end oh like I was hope not hoping it's a knot oh we do have a knot or something we got something there but I know sometimes that happens but red one oh favorite color purple purple one for gotten this color before is a yellow one yellow all right I think one package had this had one was in one package I think one is in the other I don't think I and it just coincidence that they look
like I got two orange ones two are orange dark blue kind of a offwhite beigy color one got a green one right oh white one blue one and a black one yeah well yeah I just zoom them in this bag so so that is it for this t- hul and as of right now I'm not expecting any I hav no more packages from them trying not to buy too much if I don't have to so that was it for this yarn haul from teu so let me know in the comments if you've gotten this yarn
