hey everyone welcome back to lumber capital lug yard this week the boss bought a new skitter today i'm going to give you a sneak peek of his first day on this new machine so the skater was delivered to the log yard and then the boss actually drove it to the log site fortunately our current log site is just down the road from our log yard [Music] let's head into the woods and see what this thing can do [Music] this skitter is a 648 john deere and so much larger than the other one so he spent
a couple days making the skid roads wide enough for it to fit and still it's a tight squeeze [Music] so [Music] this thing has a 237 horsepower engine and a grapple capacity of 17 square feet [Music] [Music] do although it can haul up to three times more than the previous skitter i think that the selling feature for him was the heat and ac you might not agree but this improvement of work environment can seriously change anyone's outlook on a hard day [Music] [Music] [Music] [Music] meanwhile zach is busy felling trees so while the boss takes
