hey guys what's going on spitbrix here back for another lego video and today we're checking out some of the most iconic lego instruction steps now as you may know lego instructions have become gradually more simplistic and easier to follow throughout the years well most of them but some are still ridiculously tedious such as the step in the lego creator roller coaster here which quite literally tells you to put 203 chain link pieces together in order to create the roller coaster chain although building lego sets is definitely fun to do doing something like this yeah maybe
this isn't exactly everyone's cup of tea i know i wouldn't want to put 203 of these little tiny chain link pieces together the same can be said about quite a few lego technic sets in which this one in front of you is a massive set and it basically tells you to put 52 of the tread pieces put together so you can make the treads of this vehicle but wait you have to make two of them because obviously there's two treads so that's hundred and four of these pieces that you need to click together one by
one by one now from the thumbnail you most likely saw this set this is the lego ideas ship in a bottle set and there's a whole bunch of these one by one translucent light blue studs in it now as it turns out all of those are in one separate bag so bag three has all 284 of these studs in it and you have to just pour them in to this structure to make the ship in the bottle right it's the water now this is one of my favorite instruction steps just because it makes you wonder
quite a few things such as well why did they even choose 284 in the first place what's so special about that number it doesn't really have to do with making the set number round because there's 962 pieces in this set so why do they choose 284 perhaps we'll never know also if you were to dump every single stud from bag 3 into this build here wouldn't you technically be adding 285 studs because lego loves to include that one extra piece of each stud in the set so most likely in bag 3 there's 285 studs so
honestly if you're being that picky about your lego set you know just take one out and then dump the rest in but how do you know there's not a piece missing in there that's a lot of bricks that would need to be exactly right all 284 what if there's one less well i guess if you're that picky you'll have to count them all to find out that sounds like fun now something else about this set is that there are 284 studs and they're just loose within this bottle build right so if you were to pick
it up those studs would move around in it however this is not a completely unique feature to that set in fact there is this lego holiday snow globe that has some circular one by one white tiles in it to represent the snow in the snow globe where if you were to shake it up well now the snow would fly all around another lego set that exhibits this same feature of using loose bricks is the lego ninjago movie ice tank set in which there are some cylindrical light blue pieces in the very back of it and
in the instruction booklet step 123 you can see that you include those six cylindrical pieces into the sort of mixer in the very back now with saying all that this lego ship in the bottle set takes home the record for the most pieces added in a single lego step so step 59 here you include all 284 pieces that's a lot of pieces to include in one step yes it's pretty simplistic you just dump it in and it may even make a cool sound as you dump it in as well and also a side note it
would have been really cool if lego were to put a lego minifigure hand dumping in these studs instead of a human one just you know something maybe cool that they could add but with that let me know down below if you've run into any steps while building your own lego sets that are similar to those in this video leave a like if you guys did enjoy and subscribe to my channel with notifications on for more lego videos as always i'm spitbrix have a great day check out more videos on screen right now and i'll see
