you know, their their technology, they're putting it in space. And so for us doing the same, I have a problem if we don't. Yeah.

In this episode, we have Bill Maher bringing on yet another idiot Democrat onto his show and shutting him down in front of a live audience.
Let's get into this clip here where Bill Maher shuts down yet another idiot Democrat. Live on Real Time with Bill Maher. Wants to build a new missile defense system called the Golden Dome.
Ah, yes. I read about this that could cost hundreds of billions of dollars. Is that a good use of money?
[laughter] Well, I mean, look, he's building uh he wants to build an arch uh on the mall. Uh you know, he he's building a place he can dance at the White House [laughter] and and do the YMCA. He's going to do that there.
And he wants to build a dome. I mean, uh you got to protect the dance hall. True.
By the way, [applause] I I'm very excited. I'm very excited, you know, when when the Democrats take the White House in 28, the when we have the ballroom, you know, the the pride pride month in February is going to be great in that ballroom. [cheering] [applause] But yeah, if we can have I don't know how serious you are because he's not he's not being serious.
Well, then I wasn't being serious. Uh look, the missile defense system that we have a lot of technology in space that you know that are these advanced technology programs, some of which we don't know how we fund because they're not funded by Congress. We move money around in the Pentagon.
Uh but I I don't have a problem with that. I I think that that's totally fine. I mean, China is military capability is absolutely increasing and I don't have a problem if we do a missile defense program.
China's, you know, their their technology, they're putting it in space and so for us doing the same I have a problem if we don't. Yeah. Like just because Trump thought of it, I'm not against it.

You know, I read, you know, he says that it'll take at least somebody's being truthful about this thing. You know, it's funny how Bill Maher brings up the topic of is it a good idea to build a missile defense system for the United States of America and these idiot Democrats just cannot possibly say that Donald Trump ever has a good idea ever. So, what do they make it about?
They make it about culture war topics. Oh, well, I also heard he's building a ballroom. Pride month sure is going to be fun in that ballroom.
[laughter] But we were talking about like a serious like issue, like a serious question. So, can you answer? And of course, Bill Maher has to get it back on track in a nice way and say, "Well, like I know you're making fun of this thing, but I personally have no issue with a missile defense system being built so that I don't get incinerated.
We don't know what's going on right now. " You know, we don't know what's going on in space. Nobody can see like we don't we can't visit space to see what's going on.
What if China is developing some things that is going undetected in space to where they can launch missiles from space? Who who the hell knows what's going on? Nobody knows what's going on.
So, you might as well just air on the side of caution. Maybe they should be more transparent about, you know, where the money is spent, how the Pentagon is getting its money, like, you know, where where the tax dollars are going. Maybe they should be more transparent.
But I don't have a problem with my tax dollars being spent on a missile defense system. Why the hell would I have a problem with that? I have a problem with my tax dollars being spent on a missile defense system for Israel.
I can I can promise you that. Or, you know, just meddling in foreign affairs whenever our borders are aren't, you know, the most secure and there's a lot of, you know, a lot of things, a lot of promises that were not being fulfilled. Um, you know, I'd rather my tax dollars not go to to Israel whenever that's the case.
But one place that I wouldn't mind it going definitely a missile defense system or any sort of defense system. 3 years and 180 billion and they say, "Well, that's [ __ ] It's going to take whatever it is of course everything is over scheduled and over that's never comes in on time or on budget but that's to me a worthy thing the and the ballroom I don't give a [ __ ] I really don't give a [ __ ] uh I was reading this shows you like how the media is everything is always on one side or the other when he's first mentioned it was like all about oh my god he's desecrating the white house then I finally read oh well you know they've done [ __ ] to the white house before it's just a building I think also like I realized after reading other people. We don't have a place when they have state dinners.
They're doing it in a tent. This is America. So, do I give a [ __ ] that he's doing this to the White House?
I really don't. Well, look, he raised the money privately. [applause] Yeah.
And it's private money, you know. And if uh Newsome wants to knock it down when he's president, then he can knock it down, right? Get save your eye for the things that matter.
That's right. They don't know what matter. Well, [applause] well, you know as well as I do.
I don't get a that the media is not in the business any longer of reporting what matters. It's not. They make their money either hating or loving Donald Trump.
That's where the cash register is. What matters doesn't matter to them. You know that.
Well, no. I mean, it's I think it's always been a business, right? there's just been a little bit more integrity in the past when it comes to their business practices.
The media business has always been a business. So, what matters to them is making money. You know, it's it's a business.
So, of course, making money is going to be what matters to them most. And right now, you know, it's in order to make the most money, in order to compete with the the marketplace, they have to do things that aren't super ethical. And they have to tell a lot of, you know, a lot of lies and they have to create outrage where outrage is not necessary.
And that's that's what they're doing. And you know, it's it's it's a ballroom. It's not really that serious.
But of course, they have to find any little opportunity they can to hate on Donald Trump and say, "Look, see, he's wasting money. See, Donald Trump bad. See, orange man bad.
Can't you see? " And it's I mean, it's it's tiring. It's the same playbook over and over again.
But there's a lot of people, man, a lot of very prominent people, a lot of people that go on Real Time with Bill Maher that also pedal these same narratives. like this other guy, not this guy right here, but the younger guy, he pedals the same narrative, man. The same exact narrative.
I'm pretty sure he's a representative, if I'm not mistaken. I'm pretty sure he's a representative uh in Congress. So, like, you know, it's it's it's very high-profile, important people that are still outraged because Donald Trump built a ballroom in the White House.
What are we doing? Uh, do you think that Ma'am Dani's election will lead more financial organizations to leave New York City for Wall Street South in Florida? Tell me, I've read that term just recently, Wall Street South.
Florida, this is your state. What What is that? A lot of Wall Street guys have moved to Palm Beach.
It's been happening really since CO. It's accelerated uh with, you know, increases in taxes. It's not just out of New York.
It's New Jersey, Connecticut, it's Chicago, it's California. So they're fleeing high tax blue states for Florida. And this is the luckiest guy in the world that Mandani got elected because his district is going to explode.
My house I live 8 miles outside of Queens has gone up 20% in value since Mandani announced. Okay. Because because people aren't going to pay the punishing taxes.
New York is the highest tax state in the union. But you you said your house value's gone up. Yeah, because they're moving to Nassau County.
Oh, they're moving out of the city. Out of the city. And they can still take the train back in the city and not pay the millionaire's tax or whatever crazy thing this guy wants.
But what people don't understand is he can't raise the taxes unless the state okays it and the state is not going to okay it. So this is just smoke. Yeah.
I mean all these states, Florida, California, sorry, not Florida, New York, California, those those states, they are just doing Florida a massive favor in terms of the government, in terms of the economy. Now, the locals in Florida, you know, people born and raised there probably not liking it too much because there's a lot of people fleeing to their state, clogging up the highways, and and people that you don't necessarily want there very much or leaving these states and these cities and and fleeing to Florida. So, they probably don't love it.
You know, I've actually I I I lived in in Florida for a little bit of time recently, the last couple years, and you know, I I whenever I would talk to the locals there, they would a lot of them would be leaving. You know, the people that I would uh talk to about buying their house or renting their house, whatever, they would be like, "Yeah, we're getting out of here. It's just too crowded.
There's too many people are moving here and we want to go out outside the city a little bit more so that we can get away from the crowd and the the insane traffic because it's just getting so clogged up. " And it's because, you know, obviously Florida are doing some things. They're doing some things right.
You know, like no state income tax, that's nice and everything, [sighs and gasps] but also it's because of how terrible California, New York, and these sorts of cities and these sorts of states are doing that. It's the blue states just driving people out. It's the blue cities driving people away, you know, and they used to move to Austin, Texas.
Used to move to Texas. And now Austin's, you know, again, they're pretty liberal out there. And so people are now moving to to Florida.
And I love Florida. I think it's one of the best states. You know, even though it is crowded, I I love living there.
You know, Tampa, Florida's probably my favorite city that I've ever been to in the US. So, I love it there. And I I I don't blame people for wanting to move there.
Like I said, these blue states doing themselves no favors, though. People are going to continue to flee as long as they continue to like Democrats. Just being blunt with you.
