Namaste. Namaste Radi. Namaste Dr. Yatenko. And uh do you want to wait for a couple of minutes or uh [clears throat] we should go ahead and start whatever you would like. Uh we have about um 24 people who have joined us. So should we wait or maybe if you would want to invoke the mother and uh then we can start anything. Yeah, [clears throat] we can start with the invocation in um in few seconds. It's not yet totally Yeah. Now it is time. Okay. [laughter] Minute to minute. Yeah. [clears throat] Some state. for shant. Oh
sh Oh no Oh sh Oh shanty shanty shanty. Thank you so much for that. So um good morning everyone. Good evening for people joining from other parts of the world. And my name is Pragya. I am director admissions at HUA and I'll be hosting today's webinar. Today's webinar is uh about integral yoga the inner worlds and hidden forces of life. So um this is uh about Shri Orurabindo's u vision the tradition that he started about transformation. We have with us Dr. Ladimir Yatsenko and Radhi FA. I will quickly introduce them and then we can start
the webinar. Radh Fa is the executive director of L Grace Shri Orurabendo integral life center and visiting faculty at the Hindu University of America. She integrates her Harvard trained financial expertise with Ayurveda integral yoga and sharabindu's teachings to foster holistic education and transformation. We have um Dr. Ladri Senko who is a PhD in Indian philosophy is a Sanskrit scholar, educator and visiting faculty at the Hindu University of America. He specializes in Vic studies, integral yoga, psychology and Indian philosophical traditions inspired by Shri Orurabindu and the mother. So I will not take much of your time
and over to you Dr. Yateno and Radi. So you can start the webinar. Just a small request with all the audience we have today. Thank you so much for joining us, taking out the time. Please put in all your questions in the Q&A box. it will be easier for us to take that uh after the presentation. And uh any other um anything that you would want us um to tell you, you can just keep asking us. I'll be answering uh any logistical related questions. Thank you. Over to you. [clears throat] Thank you. Thank you so
much. And yes, we would also like to welcome and thank everyone for joining us on this Sunday and of course uh extend that uh gratitude to HUA who has been hosting us uh this year uh for uh third three uh quarters so far on integral yoga and as you mentioned Shria Bindo and the mother and we are very much looking forward to the fourth quarter course which is integral yoga the inner world and hidden forces of life where we'll be exploring some of the invisible psychological and occult architect of the universe and we'll focus specifically
on hidden forces that are constantly shaping our thoughts and our feelings and our actions and all behind sort of this veil of our surface consciousness. So it's grounded in the vision of Shirrobindo's integral yoga and we'll be examining this critical distinction also between hostile and beneficial forces along with various other aspects of the inner worlds. We'll include a discussion on dreams. We'll look at inner visions and where they come from. We'll examine the subtle senses in the subliminal world and also a very unique principle of mirroring as explained by the mother. So for today we
wanted to take a look at uh very specifically around what we call the environmental consciousness and do a few fun exercises to really emphasize uh what this environmental consciousness or envelope is all about. Um, most of us go through our days with kind of a belief that we're in total control of our life and we make our choices through planning, through checklist, through our personal willpower. Yet, if we really pause and examine our lives closely, looking past kind of these neat explanations that we do for kind of why we have a sudden life decision made
or why we suddenly flare up an anger at a friend or even why we fall back on an old habit that we thought we conquered years ago. We start to catch a glimpse of this invisible current that's operating just beneath the surface of our waking consciousness. And what we mistake for our independent choices are often subtle universal forces that are acting through us without our knowledge. And when we attempt to change our lives using our personal willpower alone, we often find ourselves frustrated by these forces that we don't really fully comprehend. So again today what
we'd like to do is just take a sneak preview at Shribindo's integral psychology and explore how these subtle mental and vital influences are constantly impinging on our field of awareness and driving everything from you know a sudden mood swing that we might have to uh a sudden uh energy slump or even sudden flashes of inspiration. So when we uncover these influences where we start to break free from their kind of what really are unconscious reactions and habits that previously we probably had difficulty in in breaking. So again I'd like to circle back very specifically on
what we call environmental envelope or the circumconient consciousness and my colleague Dr. Vladimir Yatsenko will expand upon the vast dynamics that feed into it such as the cosmic consciousness at large. So most of us is f are familiar with this term we call aura right it's a modern concept we've all heard the term and it's used to define kind of this invisible energy field that envelopes our physical body interestingly shria knew of this energy field years before figures like Charles Lebecker or Rudolfph Steiner or Edgar Casey or other modern figures kind of commercialized this concept
in the west and what he termed it termed it was again the environmental consciousness or environmental envelope or also the circumcient. These are the different terms that he used for this kind of what we now think of as aura but he understood it in a much broader perspective than just how we think about auras. He recognized it as both uh individual in nature, meaning very specific to a person's unique state and also external in nature. It's always constantly being influenced by broader environmental energies and and waves including right people that we interact with on on
a daily basis as well as more universal or cosmic influences. So, how does this environmental consciousness operate in our daily life? When something impacts us, whether it's an incoming thought or an emotional feeling or a psychological suggestion or even a physical illness, it actually doesn't strike our mind or emotions or our body immediately. It first has to penetrate into this environmental consciousness, environmental envelope if you will, before it can enter our mind and emotions or physical bodies. So Sha Bindo describes the process in this way. He says ideas, beliefs, feelings, forces do not get into
the body, mind and vital all at once. The person carries about with him an environmental consciousness into which they first enter. If you can become conscious of this environmental self of yours, then you can catch the thought, passion, suggestion or force of illness and prevent it from entering into you. So here he's not only defining it, but he's also giving us our first clue as to how we can prevent those things that we don't want to impact our mind or our emotions or our body from actually getting into this environmental envelope to begin with. So
I'd like to pause here for a moment and test this concept of environmental envelope through just a quick experiment with you. Um, and I'd like to invite everyone wherever you're sitting to get comfortable. And before we do this exercise, just to take a couple deep inhales and exhales. And now what we want you to do is shift your attention away from your thoughts. Drop the awareness down into your body and feel your physical frame sitting in the chair. And we want to begin by exploring the space around you using only your hands. You can put
your hands out in front. You want to try to sense how far out your environmental energy naturally extends at this particular point in time today. And so starting with your hands about hip wide, first see if you can feel the energy around you. Once you can feel it, try to sense how far out your environmental energy naturally extends. Just begin to move your hands further and further away until you can no longer feel that energy. Now, sometimes it's only about 6 in wide. Other times we can fill it two feet, maybe even three feet or
more. So now holding that space, just gently put your hands back on your lap, keeping in mind that space, see if you can continue to feel or visualize your extended energy field. See it as a bubble that completely encloses you on all sides. This bubble is above your head, behind your back, and in front. And some of you may even feel it extend below your feet. And this bubble is your personal energetic boundary as you walk through life. Sometimes it's narrow, sometimes it's wide. We're going to run through a mental experiment. Staying inside this bubble.
So, if everyone can kindly close your eyes for a minute, keeping your awareness on your personal bubble or energetic field. Now imagine you are walking down a quiet hallway, feeling calm and spacious. And perhaps you feel your environmental consciousness extended four or five ft around you. Then you notice a door to your right which you turn and open. And as you step inside, unexpectedly, the space is extremely crowded with people talking, loud music playing, overlapping conversations, constant movement of people. Notice what happens to your bubble in that exact moment as you enter the room. Can
you feel your bubble immediately shrink or contract inward? Or do you feel a heavy noise of the room pressing against the outer surface of your bubble? Or maybe the bubble gets punctured and the room's energy and noise floods right into your emotions and mind. Keep your eyes closed gently and just stay with what just happened as you walked into that room. And notice how that bubble changed from the hallway as you were walking down, peaceful, quiet, versus as you entered that room. And when we become aware of this physical radius of our bubble, we gain
an extraordinary tool. Instead of letting this crowded room collapse our field or actually enter our system, we can consciously hold the boundary of our bubble intact. You can gently open your eyes now. And I'll be interested when we open up for questions what uh some of the things that you experienced with your bubble and especially as you entered into that room. And now we want to just take a quick look at how some of these different forces actually try to breach through our bubble in three different ways. and a mental and a vital or what
we call emotional vital emotional and the physical. So most of what you call kind of my thought actually I think we we are aware of this now we actually don't originate inside our brains right thoughts travel through the universe outside of us and even in kind of vast waves if you will and many of us we've been kind of sitting peacefully at one time or another feeling completely calm and we suddenly get this kind of anxious or strange or or kind of self-critical thought that pops into our mind and we didn't create it out of
thin air. It was actually a universal thought wave passing through your environmental envelope. And if we actually identify with it, which we normally do, right? Why am I thinking this terrible thing? Why suddenly am I anxious or nervous or fearful? The minute we claim it as ours, well, we give it ownership, right? and it sinks into our active mind. But as Shirroindo had mentioned that if we can catch it in the envelope then we can realize that it's just passing passing like a cloud in the sky. And there's another trick also that we'll speak about
in uh in the course that shindo the mother mentioned which is even catching it before it enters the envelope which is the real trick at the end of the day. They also mention about uh physical a physical gateway into this environmental envelope. uh the mother made an interesting observation regarding physical illness and what she says is that before a virus or an infection or a headache physically manifests in our bodies that its subtle energetic vibration enters this environmental envelope first. And this happens especially if we are exhausted or we're emotionally drained or for some reason
we're anxious. uh and in a state of anxiety because when we're in these conditions then that environmental envelope thins if you will. And it's much easier for physical uh vibration such as illness to penetrate and eventually actually impact the physical cells in the body. But if we can learn how to keep this envelope strong, if we can be aware of it at all times and instead we fill it with quiet energy, then illness vibrations tend to bounce off without taking root. And again, these are some tools that we'll review in our course coming up. So
I wanted to take one more example, something that we're probably all familiar with. We've all gone through trying to break old habits. So, what happens? What happens if one day we finally decide that we're going to reject an unhealthy or a bad habit? Maybe something that we've carried around for a while. Uh it could be a ne it could be a negative thought pattern. It could be kind of an unhealthy health habit uh that we've had and we just one day wake up and we say enough is enough. and we refuse to have it or
the reject it reject the thought. So what actually happens to that thought or habit? Where does it go? Does the energy supporting it simply fizzle out and fade away and never to enter your life again? So Shria Bindo explains that when you reject or change a habit or a belief or a negative feeling using our ordinary willpower, it often doesn't leave us altogether. It actually instead takes refuge in our environmental consciousness, that environmental envelope. And that ingrained habit or wrong thought retreats just outside our physical being and it waits it waits in our envelope for
an opportune moment to strike again and re-enter our system. one one example that um I often uh give even though people these days tend not to smoke but if uh if you've ever smoked at one time or know somebody that has it's a particularly difficult habit to break and what happens often is that you know we may smoke for years or even decades and then one day we or a friend of ours decides to quit and actually does quit you know with a lot of personal effort stops smoking avoid cigarettes for a year, two years,
three years and that person he or she believes that the habit is completely destroyed and then one afternoon right something happens some something stressful in life perhaps occurs or we become particularly nervous and rattled and our energy drops and then there's that voice inside right we've all heard it all have just one that's all right so what happens Right? That old and great habit had remained the entire time, the 2, three, four years in this person's environmental consciousness. It wasn't destroyed. It was simply hovering outside the gate. And the moment her vigilance dropped down to
dropped down due to stress, that forced her envelope to open and accept kind of that suggestion. I'll have just one more. And then she finds herself again struggling against this habit. So this is why uh addictions and bad habits once they become ingrained in that vibration is is is solid within our environmental envelope very difficult to to quit. Oh it's actually easy to quit but but we we quit four or five or six times right and even once we finally do quit for several years back up it comes. So the other thing I wanted to
talk about and actually before I guess I move on it really um Shir Bindo mentions that this is kind of the difference between rejection and disillusion that when we merely reject something through a mental force or our own willpower that's all we're doing. We're pushing it out into the envelope where it continues to linger. But in integral yoga again there's this practice of bringing down higher spiritual light and peace and a higher awareness. And so when we do this we actually can remove the force from our environmental field. And uh this is a technique that
can be used any time during the day um at just about any any habit any negative uh emotion or negative thought. So the last thing I wanted to mention regarding I just I find these uh the concept of environmental envelopes so powerful and uh helps to explain so many things that perhaps we didn't understand before and with that understanding integral yoga gives us tools to be able to to manage it in a way that kind of supports our higher self. So the other thing I wanted to mention is uh you know it's also our kind
of broader environmental uh situation that influences us other people that we're around. We're constantly over overlapping and intersecting with other environmental fields of our friends of our family members of strangers. And so when our environmental consciousness contains certain subtle vibrations or energetic patterns, maybe it's specific ideas or uh certain beliefs and emotional tendencies or spiritual aspirations that are identical in frequency to those in another person's field. Right? So when you come into proximity with that other person, what happens? there's this immediate attraction or resonance relative to that shared state. And so when this occurs, there's
sort of this interlocking that takes place that instantly kind of magnifies and intensifies the shared thought or feeling. And this is this kind of mechanism is behind what we often refer to as law of attraction. Right? The principle that like attracts light. So what resides in your environmental consciousness naturally resonates with and attracts like kind energy from the surrounding environment. And this is you know precisely why a sunga you know a group of spiritually like-minded individuals that are coming together with the shared aspiration. Why a sa is a powerful support for spiritual progress. And when
individual environmental fields are filled with goodwill, with peace, with aspiration, and they overlap and they interlock, they kind of create a an amplified field of high energy that supports everyone in the room. But of course it also works just the opposite that the same mechanism of interlocking is also behind mass rioting, mob hysteria, panic buying, irrational group behavior. And so when instead we get thousands of individuals and their envelopes carrying unexpressed fear or anger overlap during a public crisis, then they interlock into this wave of collective hysteria that is magnified and exaggerated. And so we
find people in mobs who routinely committing acts that they never dreamed of doing individually simply because their environmental consciousness was overwhelmed and hijacked by the collective emotional wave. So the big question in all this is of course how do we practically protect clear master or environmental envelope in daily life? And this is just one of many questions when it comes to the unseen forces and the subliminal inner worlds. So, Shir bindo and the mother we will be uh returning to in our course and explaining more about these subliminal realms, but also more importantly giving very
concrete practices that um you can use in your in your daily life to counter negative forces as well as to bring in light forces. So, with that, I think I'd like to just go ahead and turn it over to my colleague, Dr. Vladimir Yatsenko to maybe elaborate a bit more on the subliminal or inner worlds and some of these unseen forces that we are constantly exposed to. Vladimir, thank you. Rad. Yes. Um, well, when we think of this envelope as Rad presented, there are several questions here. I do not know whether we keep them till
the end, I guess. And if you are patient enough batteries williams then we will address them at the end. Um if you think about this envelope uh this envelope is not by itself it's something which which is coming to our physical consciousness and dwells in the subtle physical and vital realms closer to our in our aura as it were or around in the environmental consciousness. It holds onto our own vibrations, waits for its opportunity to come back and it since it already had the route to come in, it built the road, it knows the door
onto which to knock or which to knock out [laughter] or open when you are ready to open. Then um of course these forces return and this is very very common for especially people doing yoga who clean their inner being and then kind of uncherished [clears throat] guest as Shibbindu says come back. Um our cherished guests come back cherished before and um since they remember then they come back to that uh clear space and occupy it again and we are again starting from um from the beginning our journey to clean up the house. Um in this
subliminal realms are much greater and much vaster than we know them. Um we think about envelope and that is what we immediately perceive and how rather beautifully described as mother says about the the the disease when the illness comes in you could feel it that something enters into your uh envelope. You could feel something enters. If in that moment you brush it away mother says you will not get illness. If you become less conscious and allow it to come and to settle then there there will be some kind of penetration of that force. But if
you notice that it didn't enter yet into your very body but it is only in your environmental envelope. It may take you two three days to clear up the atmosphere and get rid of disease. But if you missed that point, mother says, then it will enter and once it has entered, then it's much more difficult to fight it. So it will take a week or so to really fight the disease within your uh system. So if you think of this even in Sanskrit language um how the diseases are called Yes. Um vada vadi interesting the
disease is that which penetrates which comes from through the envelope to your within it's like a vibration which wants to settle and disturb your equilibrium but where it um is it coming from and here I have some ideas to share with you from Shri Obinda's point of view from the from the view of knowledge um he speaks For Shir Rubindu, knowledge is nothing but the the operation of consciousness. Yes. And the more we are aware of our innermost being, the more we are how to say the more we see and manage any environmental or any
subliminal consciousness. Now what is subliminal or universal consciousness? So we have our surface mind, our surface vital emotions, feelings, sensation and our surface being uh [clears throat] physical being. It is our physicality, vitality and mentality which we know as ourselves. It's a amalgam of all possible vibrations which we identify with and think about them as our own selfidentity, our ego sense. Yeah. But behind them or within them or around them if you will including them there is a greater subliminal realms and the there is the subliminal mental or universal mental which is not operating on
the level of the separated separative consciousness which our surface mind operates with. Our ego sense is viewing ourselves only as a separate being from other beings. But it operates differently. It doesn't have that separation. It is fluid and open to all kinds of forces. Higher and lower forces. Higher and lower to our range of perception. We do not perceive neither higher nor deeper nor lower forces. We just register them when they come into our envelope. uh in some form or some language we start speaking about them. So this viewing of how consciousness operates from the
separative on the surface to more um separative but already direct having direct access to the higher universal powers and then finally direct consciousness and consciousness or knowledge by identity. These four forms of knowledge I wanted to address because they will build our subliminal consciousness and uh if we look at this world I have the here the quotation can I have a projection could you allow me to or it's too late to ask and then I read oh no of course you can you can share your screen okay uh here I prepared some quotations which are
important from the live divine. Our surface cognition says Shri Rubinda. Our limited and restricted mental way of looking at ourself, at our inner movements and our world outside us and its objects and happenings [clears throat] is so constituted that it derives in different degrees from a four-fold order of knowledge. That's what I was mentioning. The original and fundamental way of knowing native to the occult self in things is a knowledge by identity. This is when we recovered the ourselves. When our one being views oneself in all selves and all selves in oneself, the complete and
direct knowledge with that knowledge there is no problem. You see all the separations. The second derivative that's derived from this is a knowledge by direct contact associated at its roots with a secret knowledge by identity or starting from it but actually separated from its source and therefore powerful but incomplete in its cognition. So there is starting this kind of deviation from the from the recognition of oneself only. So we are not looking for oneself in other selves anymore. We start viewing other other selves more as not self. We are we are beginning to cognize not
self rather than self. It's also important part of knowledge and manifestation. And what Shabbindra says but actually separated from its source and therefore powerful but incomplete in its cognition. There is still a shadow of knowledge of by identity but already separation started to take place. We are more drawn to nonself not self than to recognition of the self. The third is a knowledge by separation from object of observation but still with a direct contact. So separated with direct contact is still direct contact as its support or even a partial identity and the fourth is a
completely separated knowledge uh which relies on machinery of indirect contact. So there is no more direct contact. We need some tools by which we will have relations. Yes, we are all relating to one another through the many tools. Yes, boxes. Even this what we do today our zoom conference relies on this particular device [laughter] where we have a contact with one another. Yeah. So we are totally separate and we separate to the extent that I even don't see to whom I talk. Yeah. So there is this webinar. Um so which relies on machinery of indirect
contact a knowledge by acquisition which is yet without being conscious of it a rendering or bringing up of the contents of a preexistent inner awareness and knowledge. So it has no idea a knowledge by identity, a knowledge by intimate direct contact, a knowledge by separative direct contact and holy separative knowledge by indirect contact are the four cognitive methods of nature. It's not only our human ways of knowing cognition but it is in nature from innermost to outermost. So here they are listed in a very simple way. I took it from Matias's uh presentations. He was
deeply diving into these uh four different uh modalities of knowledge cognition in his articles. So um here we see this in the depth. So in the horizontal way we were presenting this in our previous sessions horizontal way of knowing and vertical way of knowing. So horizontal outer nature inner nature true nature and this is vertical way of knowing rising in consciousness and deepening consciousness from the outermost to the inner to the true to the innermost. So here in this scheme it's quite visible outer mind outer vital outer physical operated by ego. Ego is managing these
three. This is how we know ourselves. But we are enveloped into the these greater envelopes of the inner mind which is which is not dependent on our uh self-nowledge in the our surface mind or inner vital and all those uh energies which we cast out as habits or whatever or the energies [clears throat] we don't have want to have within ourselves are there in those inner realms. Yes, these are subliminal realms of nature. When we think that we are thinking, we are feeling, we are sensing, it is very relative thing. It is something which is
actually confirmed or energetically [clears throat] coming from those realms into our envelope and that's how we perceive ourselves. Our constant interactions with these innermost worlds is um is not registered by our surface mind. We do not think of those terms. When thoughts suddenly come, aha moment, re revelation. Where is that aha moment comes from? The brain. Brain activated it or what? Oh, I thought it out. No, I was calling for something. I was opening the doors to this inner mind to this subliminal mind receiving the intuition the lightning the aha moment and that came to
me and that corresponded with our outer activities. So outer activity or outer object which I wanted to know I concentrated on it opened the gates to the innermost being to the universal mind and was waiting for the right knowledge to come for the aha moment. You most probably noticed this when we speak it happens the same way. Sometimes you have to wait for the word to say. You wait for it and it is not coming. And you have waited a little longer and here it is. It comes the right word for that you wanted to
say in the environment you wanted to charge with or to change. So this is how it works. Only we are not aware of this process. But in our course we will we will try to become aware of this environmental and this uh subliminal consciousness. And you see it is not only on the level of the mind or the vital which is even more important for us. And it is also inner physical inner physical this bubble which which you experienced in Raj has meditation. Uh and it is very powerful. Many people have this experience physical extended
vital and physical being extended to the that it helps you to react to what is coming. A mother describes this in her experience that once she was walking in Paris and the tram from the corner started very fast and could hit her but it hit her. It really hit but she she was feeling the hit by her environmental consciousness. It was pushed. He was physical body was pushed with the tram but tram didn't hit the physical body but that envelope. It's amazing to think of this. This happens to us also once in a while. Uh
and there is of course subconscious. Subconscal consciousness. Everything which was once and was not anymore used somehow found its place there in the subconscience [snorts] where it is waiting to sprout again to come back like those habits of smoking. They were dropped into subconscious and they were waiting there for few years or sometimes even many years to come back to life. Even those experiences which we had and not only our experiences but experiences of other people and not only from this time but from previous times from many times from the whole evolutionary time all the
experiences of the past evolutions of our species are there stored and come back to life. This what happens in the time of the war in this time of disaster people suddenly change and they can't recognize themselves they become something else something very different um these are the powers which are there stored and come back to life if there is an opportunity or the opening and these all these kind of this presentation today is a teaser for us to see what we will be dealing with this um in our course with these realms. Now these are
the realms we will be dealing with with inner mind, inner vital, inner physical and subconscious in our course. Beyond them there is a true being mental self, vital self, physical self, anamaya, pranaapura and manoaya in Indian tradition. And these selves connect to atman or to the being um and also there is a psychic being beyond them which is operational through them and through the inner worlds to the surface mind. Now um this operational truth which goes through the subliminal realms makes subliminal realms very interesting for us because in the subliminal realms there are truths which
we want to discover about ourselves. There is a certain correlation by the psychic by the psychic being by our embodied soul through all these realms to the surface trying to correlate our movement towards selfdiscovery towards the discovery of our innermost being soul the divine and there are many many other forces which prevented try to prevent this influence of the psychic. They are also in subliminal worlds. As Shbinda describes subliminal worlds, they are not only from below or the middle. They are also from above. From the supreme and from the inconcient. These forces join through the
subliminal worlds. And there is a battle going on between these forces there to possess our individuality and to change the course of our evolution. This is in brief. If I wanted to say few these words that we know what we are dealing with that the scheme is much greater than it looks like from the beginning that's not only psychological getting rid of some kind of you know habits or addictions. It is much more the whole evolutionary scheme of things. Yeah. Um there is a beautiful description of all these Shri Rubindu gives in the live divine.
I will leave it for you to read separately. And now I want to stop and to open to the questions and interaction with you and Radhi if you have any questions. There were some questions in there. Yeah, there are a couple of Do you want me to read the questions and you one of you answers? I think it is Tur mainly because when she was talking this was these questions were put up. Yeah, I can I can read. It looks like they are all from uh Patrice. Yeah. Um so Patrice I I guess I would
be interested maybe you can just even raise your hand. When we were going through the exercise you have a lot of questions here. Does the bubble get bigger? if you enjoy letting people in, how to stay quiet in the loud room, what about peer influence, etc. When when we were doing this exercise around the bubble and you were trying to determine kind of how far the bubble went out, were you able and I meant when you to raise your hand that to raise your hand if you can mention in the chat, were you able to
feel that energy source around you? Were you able to feel that environmental consciousness or that aura? And if you were were able to, then that's the first step is just that awareness. Once you're aware of that, then if you know that you're going to be going into a room that's loud and noisy and people arguing, you can protect yourself by keeping the awareness on that uh bubble, if you will, and actually infusing it before you go in with calm and light, right? And so we can go through uh we'll be going through a practice how
to bring down that that calmness, that light, that kind of power to remain still and centered and you enter the room with that. Now, if you just walk on in and you're surprised and you're caught off guard and you're just wide open, then of course um you don't it's going to be hard to close back up. But you always, if you notice when you go to, you know, a gathering where there's lots of people and loud music and maybe lights and all, you'll always notice at least one or two people that seem totally unaffected by
all the commotion going around. And that person or people, whether they're consciously aware or not, they have built up kind of this bubble and they know when it can be activated or they keep it activated all the time, you know, calm and protected, right? But normally to answer your other question to let other people in, you know, typically when we're in a safe environment with we're with family, we're with loved ones, you know, we're not as concerned about having a seven or eight or 10 feet wide bubble, right? We relax that bubble so that we
can bring in and connect with with others. So, it's a way of both connecting as you kind of bring in that bubble, but it's also a way of protecting as you uh kind of fill out that that bubble or extend your your bubble. It's totally in your in your control as long as you are conscious. And again, that first step is just realizing, feeling, knowing that you've got that bub. So, I don't know if uh looks like some other questions. What's a good first book to read about Shri Arabindo? Uh Vladimir, what would you say
for that? Well, the letters on yoga of course the are the best and you can always ask what you want for reference to and so you can learn a lot from there. Um, regarding the bubble, I want to say also most probably you noticed that some people especially saints or those you know like u Ramana Maharushi had such a powerful bubble environmental consciousness then when you come close even to the room where even when it where he was sitting before long years before and he's no more there still you feel the presence The same happens.
This is environmental consciousness which is holding to those you know realizations of spirit. Mother describes this with Shri Robbindu that he had such a powerful environmental consciousness. Then even physical storm which is storms are very strong in Pondicherryi. Those who lived in Punjerry know that it can really wipe up the whole thing. And she rushed because there was such a storm and she wanted to close his windows. And he sitted there, seated there. She she entered and it was so dense peace that no drop of water or wind could enter into the open room. This
is the power of the environmental consciousness charged with the spirit. So there is a way to go about it. Yes, this aura can be enlightened, can be charged with peace, presence, bliss. Even animals come to these beings, they are not afraid, they feel friendly, though they are predators and they would attack any human being. But not these beings because they build up something very solid within themselves and it is shining without you. So this is the way to think about it. Yes, there are more questions. So, you answered those I think. Rather, what about peer
influence? Yeah. Friends and family and Yeah. What is the correction correlation between awareness and consciousness is subliminal awareness and consciousness? Sorry, I thought I was [laughter] I thought I was addressing I was saying Patrice definitely needs to take our class. Lots of good questions here [laughter] in lots of ways that we can go about uh giving you tools for this. But um yeah, I I I think we pretty much um I'm continuously evolving consciously. Why some forces want Oh, okay. That's um that's a huge uh topic into itself. these these unseen forces that are both
benefic I think Vladimir you were saying this as we open ourselves to yoga right then we open ourselves to these forces and so there's protection and grace and light that we need to keep around us as we do this yoga um we've had stories of multiple people who are new to especially new to the yoga and unaware of some of these forces And as they're opening up to spirit or going within, they go through these universal fields, these subliminal fields. And everything and everyone is out there. All forces are out there. So knowledge and awareness
I think is is the uh is the first thing that needs to be done and uh protection and the mother's uh grace. Yes. The regarding this bubble they add to this what rather says if once um once you opened for your adhar your ve your you know vehicle to this force to come mother's force mother's protection you feel that this force embraces you from above and not only with time you feel that it builds the the wall around you which holds you like in cocoon you are totally protected Wherever you are, you may enter into
the place where there is epidemics or there is this or that. Nothing touches you because this wall of protection by the spirit is built around you. There's something really magical happening when you open up to the spirit and it builds up your environmental consciousness. Yes, we all want that. But truly speaking, it creates us as happy beings in whatever environment we may we may enter into the war or into the you know with this environ with this uh consciousness environmental consciousness we can face everything in life in a very different manner because it does not
penetrate us. It does not make us you know um how to say it doesn't enslave us. Doesn't make us think the same way or feel the same way as that vibration wants. So we have that support from within and from above which holds our envelope. Um one more question. Yes I'm consciously evolving why some forces want to prevent it. This is something we are coming here for the work to do and this is what we believe and in integral yoga we are not here just to enjoy ourselves and go and then reincarnate and reincarnate until
we are liberated only but we are here to face those forces with our light and our capacity to change them. That's why they are coming. They come not really to prevent. They are coming rather to provoke in us that light and to make us work for them. They want to be transformed. That's why they come to us. And if we give in to them, then of course we fail for a moment. We should really face them with light and um unchanging in will. Yes, as Shendu uses this word. How do you stay mindful in the
influence of the influence trying to penetrate you in a identity being through your environmental consciousness? Well, you have to have another connection. You have to have another protection. You have to have another opening which is much more um related to you. Inner opening. Yes. Would you like to add something? No. Once that connection is made then then you can face everything. Of course there are strong forces outside and if your inner connection is weak or not really steady or certain or you doubt or you are just the beginner then you have to be careful. But
usually once the connection is established the inner with inner being then um then the what will face what what will come to you to to challenge you in life will be in accordance with your capacity. This is something very interesting. It will never come as overwhelming uh to your capacity. So there will be always an opportunity for you to grow. And this is something also very interesting that our environment is actually reflecting something of our need of self-development. And here we can stop. So you're most welcome to this course. It is really an interesting journey.
There will be very many interesting topics and discussions and if you didn't have our previous courses we also would encourage you to to have a glimpse about them what they were about there's some material about this so you would have a continuation of the course so um I'll just uh the course is uh on every Saturday 11:00 a.m. Eastern to 12:30 p.m. Eastern. Uh starts on October 10th and uh goes on till December 19th. You all will receive a recording of this webinar along with the details of u the course and um you'll have the
number and the email ID, the meeting link of the admissions team if uh you guys have any questions that you may want to ask. Um just one more question. Uh do will the students need any required reading or whatever you're going to give them to read is all in elements. Yeah. So there will be just uh one book that will be required that's available on uh Amazon on these inner forces. So we'll be pretty much following that book and then periodically uh throughout the different weeks we will be putting in the Google Drive additional um
articles that they can read. So just publishing a very small book probably 15 16 bucks on on Amazon. Uh 90 90 minutes each session is 90 minutes. And what we what we tend to do is it's we we tend to keep it pretty informal. So we like uh to have a lot of discussion and dialogue throughout that 90 minutes. It's not all PowerPoint presentation um and you know a one-way dialogue. Um there will be lots of uh practices and reflections and sharing of those. So it tends to be very dynamic and we've just had uh
amazingly wonderful uh groups of uh students that have been in our courses and I think uh we've we've just been so appreciative of the type of individuals that Hindu University uh has reached out to and is part of your community. So it's been absolutely wonderful and it's been an honor and pleasure on our part uh to be part of your program. So we again really thank you and Hindu University for allowing us this opportunity. You're welcome. And um I would also kind of request people who are interested what is the cost and the name of
the book? Okay. Is it which book are you referring to? If you could uh let them know. Okay. Let me just I have to Oh uh the hidden forces. I don't let me just see if it's on. [laughter] But again what we'll also be doing this is an excellent book u but we'd also be supplementing with um periodic

Thank you so much and for everyone who has taken the time out on a Sunday but uh this is going to be cost of the course it will be $300 author of the book it's it's a compilation from the works of Shirindo and the mother okay so just type in uh the hidden forces of life in uh Amazon and you'll you'll see Other questions?
