you know, she said, "We're completely unbiased. Give me a break, lady. " I mean, they're crazy far-left.
So, I mean, I think we're past, my view, we're past the age really where the government, first of all, they why do we need to subsidize? Why can't we have outlets like this? And we're so polarized.
Th the these these outlets became popular at a time when Republicans and Democrats didn't hate each other and weren't at each other's throats. Bill Maher brings this woke idiot Jasmine Crockett onto his show real time with Bill Maher and has to put her in her in her place for the ridiculous comments that she was making specifically about Greg Abbott and making fun of him for being in a wheelchair. And then also they go on to discuss other things that of course this woke idiot is not agreeing with Bill Maher on.
Bill Maher is forced to put her and the other guy in their place. Let's get to this clip here where Bill Maher goes after Jasmine Crockett for her ridiculous statements. Think of Democratic Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett calling Texas governor.
Okay, she's from Texas. The governor Greg Abbott who is paralyzed and uses a wheelchair. She called him Governor Hot Wheels.
What do you you [clears throat] Congressperson Crockett is part of the new trend where informality is okay, where formality used to reign. Okay, fine. That's been going on since the 60s.
So, her routine is that she wants to bring a little bit of what I might quaintly call the ghetto cat fight into these spaces. I get it. You know, bring a black exploitation movie or something into Congress.
Great. [cheering] Work it. But you do not make fun of the fact that somebody lives their life in a wheelchair.
That doesn't work. [applause] If if she thinks that being black and fabulous gives her a pass on that, then she's got a really unfortunate sense of what black is. Um, well, what do you think, Ricky?
I I mean, I think this is just an example of when they go low, we go lower. And the Democratic party is going to lose if they try to use kind of magaw world tactics back at them. I think that if the Democrats want to to succeed in the future, they need to be the party that is normal, that are standup people that do not take the cheap shots back.
[applause] Yeah. We're never going to exist in that world where the Democrats are the standup people. Like, what are we talking about?
like that that's never going to be the case. Democrats have been the ones that always go the low route. They always take the low blows.
They're always the people who are trying to to off the other side, you know, like and look, you can say, well, look, these people who are commit committing these, you know, the assassination attempts and everything, they're reg registered Republicans and all this stuff, right? But let's be real, it's only right-wingers that the assassination attempts are going against. Like, they're trying to off.
They're right-wingers. and the president of the, you know, the United States who's who's a Republican. So, they're the ones that are doing this, right?
They're the ones that are fireballing malls and, you know, during the summer of love and they're the ones with Antifa. Like, they're the ones that do this stuff. So, we're never going to exist in a world where the leftwing is taking the high road.
Let's be real. And let's see what Bill Mer has to say in response to that ridiculous statement. But I I don't know.
I I'm not that upset about it. I'm really not. You know why?
Because I'm a big fan of Family Guy. And they have, [cheering] am I wrong? Every week, I mean, [applause] one of the characters, Joe the cop, is in a wheelchair and every week there's 20 jokes about him being in a wheelchair and nobody died.
And and like I I just think everybody has to like lighten up a little. Yeah, it's terrible to be in a wheelchair, but you know, it's not like it's news to him. Um, and I I I don't know.
adore family guy. I've seen every episode, but that wasn't a cartoon. This is this is real life.
And she was saying it with dismissive hostility as opposed to the cartoonish, huh, we can get away with it because we're drawn. Jasmine Crockett is not drawn and neither is Abbott. I see a distinction, although I see what you mean.
Okay. All right. Um, the heads of NPR and PBS testified before Congress this week amid accusations of liberal bias.
Should the government continue to send taxpayer dollars to public broadcasters? Well, a little background here. I mean, they've been after them for the Republicans have wanted to get rid of PBS for as long as I can remember.
Um, this crowd will probably do it. I mean, I also read my namesake. Katherine Maher is was head of NPR and you know, she said, "We're completely unbiased.
Give me a break, lady. " I mean, they're crazy far-left. So, I mean, I think we're past, my view, we're past the age really where the government, first of all, they why do we need to subsidize?
Why can't we have outlets like this? And we're so polarized. Th the these these outlets became popular at a time when Republicans and Democrats didn't hate each other and weren't at each other's throats and didn't think each other was an existential threat.
In that world, you can't have places like this, I think, anymore. They have to be private. Yeah.
I think Yuri Berliner, exNPR employer, his piece this week where he said that they should just they should just let go of the funding. This you I love NPR. I listen to NPR almost every day.
Have since 1975 when my parents used to play it in our Chevrolet Caprice when I was like 9 years old. I love it for its point of view, but since 2020, it has no longer been general. I remember in 2021 my then 9-year-old asked me and of course she has no sense of context.
[clears throat] I don't pump her full of things like this. She said from the back seat in very different car. She said, "Daddy, why is it that NPR is always playing the same thing?
" And I said, "What do you mean the same thing? " And I swear she said, now she doesn't have a vocabulary, but she said it's always about how somebody can't do something. And that what she was getting at was that I wouldn't have said that if about the NPR that I knew back in the day and I wouldn't have said it 10 years ago, but that is what it is now.
I will listen to it daily, but it's no longer a general audience venue. They just give up national funding. Yeah.
Okay, Ricky, why every single news outlet nowadays is extremely slanted one way or the other. It just seems like, and look, maybe I'm completely biased. Let me know in the comments.
Maybe I'm off on this, but it does seem like the ones that are slanted towards the left wing and supporting the left wing and going against the right, they lie a whole lot more often than the right wing does. And that might not be a case of like the right-wing news outlets are just better, you know, morally better. Maybe it's just a case of the left has to lie more because if they tell the truth, it doesn't go in their favor very much.
That could be the reason. But it does seem like the left-wing media lies a whole lot more than the right-wing media. Maybe, once again, maybe I'm biased because I lean more right than I do left, but it seems like even people like Bill Maher, who lean left, also agree that leftwing media is completely insufferable nowadays.
It's it's it's it's horrible. It's literally just impossible to listen to. Even this person is saying, you know, his his child is picking up on that all they talk about is negativity.
And it's always negativity obviously geared, you know, aimed at the right wing because they don't want to talk negatively about their own people that they're trying to attract. They'll never do that. Uh and and it's simply just a business move.
Once again though, it seems like in order to support the left wing, you do have to lie a whole lot more than you do in order to support the right wing. And that could, like I said, it's probably just a case of not one being morally better or, you know, anything like that. It's probably just a case of in order to support the left wing, you have to lie more because the truth is not very attractive for the left wingers.
The truth is not very very beneficial for the left wingers to tell. There are more and more women giving up on marriage. [laughter] Really?
I swear to God, that's what it says. And why why why is that directed to you? Are you are you giving up on marriage?
No, you're not. No, I I I I mean I think though I think my there's a massive disconnect between the genders in my generation and young men are going to the right, young women are going to the left. There's um it's hard to kind of meet.
Yeah, it's it's pretty it's it's pretty rough out there. Um, you know, it is. And I it's like the left or the girls are going towards the left and they're just saying like my body, my choice, and all they're fighting for is the right to have abortions as much as they want.
And then the the the men are kind of just like we just want to like get married, you know? Like we just want to have a nice family, find a nice woman, and and they just don't really exist, you know? I mean, I don't want to say they don't exist because, you know, knock on wood.
I think I think maybe I got one. I'm not sure, but [laughter] knock on wood, I don't I don't want to jinx anything, but like it seems like they might not really exist too much anymore. And um you know, all they all they care about is how much ass they can show on social media and how many abortions they can have.
And you know, I think I think people are reasonable. Men are reasonable for not wanting to get married to to women who are doing that. You have to sacrifice your own self-worth, your own self-respect in order to get married nowadays, for the most part.
And I I'm not interested in doing that. I don't think anybody else should. Anyway, let me know in the comments you guys think about what Bill Maher had to say about the Dems and about just just Democrat media, leftwing media in general.
Let me know in the comments you guys think about Bill Maher shutting down the woke idiot Jasmine Crockett for what she said about Greg Abbott in a wheelchair as well. Let know in the comments what you guys think about this whole Bill Maher versus the woke left situation.
