[Music] [Music] another verse We examined this before so I'll just remind you of the verse you know the verse that says we talked about this before when Allah say when Allah says obey God and the messenger and the Guardians the Guardians from amongst you this in itself ensures their infallibility because when Allah says obey God is that conditional or unconditional unconditional you obey God in all circumstances now Allah uses the same context and sentence to give you the ruling for the prophet Allah says goey God and the messenger that means unconditionally as well Allah uses
the same verb he just brings a conun wow and that means you follow them unconditionally without any conditions just like you follow God and the messenger that can only be sound and acceptable if what if they're infallible otherwise how can God ask you to unconditionally follow someone if he makes sins and he uh you know is prone to make mistakes so we talked about this verse before but this is also one verse that proves the infallibility of the Guardians who are the peace be upon them number three a third verse that proves the infallibility of
the or a second verse because the first one was or is the verse in which Allah tala declares Prophet ibraim as the IM when he completed his test what did Allah give him what position did he Grant him the grant the position of IM the first question that asked Allah when he got this position what did he ask him oh Allah this position of will you grant it to anyone from my progeny what is the response of Allah subhana tala Allah clearly tells him this Covenant that I have which Covenant IM this position of IM
this that I have shall not be given to theim the one who oppressed they are not qualified to be an IM who represents the faith of Allah subhah wa ta'ala now come to the the first four the nonim the one who never committed is eligible for that ah eligible but if someone did committed in his life he's disqualified from the status of IM according to this verse okay the first three cffs Abu Bakr Omar andman before Islam what were they worshiping grapes Idols what have you right and the Quran says inah when L tells tells
his son my dear son do not commit do not worship idols do not ascribe Partners to God the biggest form of and oppression is sh is to worship the idols and the first three worship the idols most of their lives Abu Bak died at age 63 they say okay same age of the Prophet sallallahu alaih maybe one or two years difference around the same age that means 40 Years of his life before Islam he was on and the Quran says it's a great you know Injustice and and oppression now the one who for decades committed
and oppression is he qualified for the Covenant of Allah of being an IM disqualified the only one out of those four who never worshiped an idol was who IM Ali and that's why they say may Allah honor his face because he never prostrated to an idol yes see if someone converts to Islam and they're sincere about it true Allah T forgives but the verse is not talking about the one who was forgiven or not forgiven Allah says the one who committed Allah is a who committed a his Covenant cannot reach him his Covenant cannot reach
him he's disqualified from achieving that position so even if later let's say they did Toba and they became Muslim and Allah T forgave them when they committed and they were disqualified from that position and the Quran is very clear about that anyone who commits is not qualified Allah May forgive them for their do we do we argue that aim that's it it's the doors of God are closed in his face no one says that we believe aim can be forgiven by God if Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala you know if if he repents Allah can forgive
him of course of course not to that extent so we're not discussing whether the person can be forgiven or not of course there's nothing that cannot be forgiven Allah will forgive you as long as you repent sincerely but Allah is telling ibraim the one who's a who committed is not qualified anymore that's it they don't have the capacity to be a global IM to be a leader for all generations for all Muslims they're disqualified from that status that me and that's why if once if you commit once you're not qualified for that yes Allah can
forgive you for that v no problem but that Covenant with Allah you're disqualified from it the Quran is very clear about that look Prophet ibraim when he was asking Allah for IM do you think he was really asking it for one of his progenies in the state of his yeah you think ibraim would do a Dua like that oh Allah one of my progeny one of one people from my progeny he's actively in the state of and Sh and killing and Corruption and he and I still want him to be an IM which prophet makes
a Dua like that obviously Prophet ibraim when he asked it for his progeny he didn't ask it for those who were actively doing he was obviously asking even for those who may have repented you know those good ones Allah says fine but the one who did even once is disqualified so if they'll come and tell you yeah but the Quran isn't saying that if you repented you're not qualified anymore if you repent you can be qualified ibim didn't ask it for those who were actively doing them for Allah to tell him hey those liims I'm
not going to give them he never made a prayer like that that would be silly to make a prayer like that for you to get a response like that from Allah subhana wa tala so this is another clue that Allah is not not talking about the one who's now doing no anyone who did in his life anyone is disqualified from this so this is another proof that we have which establishes the infallibility of theit peace be upon them [Music]
