outer Wilds a game you probably heard me mentioned before but if you have asked about it from a person who has played the game you honestly failed to have them elaborate on what the game is actually about or even what it's like many fans deeply impacted by the experience of other Wilds can relate to the urge to share the entire story of the bizarre Universe in the game but choose not to for the same reason that I'll give it this disclaimer even though this video is largely spoiler free it practically has no spoilers at all
I do recommend that you play the game without actually watching any videos about it knowing nothing is the best Star for this game so if you haven't put the game I recommend you click off the video you don't look up anything else on the game and then you just play the game and maybe come back after you play at least you know give it like 30 minutes otherwise is a unique progression as the game won't lock you away from anything you are free to do as you wish and you're allowed the passage to every nook
and cranny of the game right off the bat the only thing holding you back is your lack of knowledge I remember playing other Wilds for the first time feeling a little bit overwhelmed by how much there was to find and how little Direction I had if I could go back I I simply tell myself to just go anywhere there is no wrong direction in this game no matter where you go what you do that is progression this is largely why no one wants to tell you about their playthrough the lack of Direction and knowledge not
knowing what you're even supposed to do is a part of the experience it allows for a unique playthroughs for each person you know giving direction to another it's kind of like taking away their chance of having their own adventure and I think that people have the empathy to realize that their experience was great and they wouldn't want to ruin that for someone else which is why you probably haven't heard people talk about all of the gameplay aspects and stuff like that otherwise takes the opportunity given by his media as a game to tell an amazing
Tale in a way that a movie or book never could much of the story is unraveled in fragments as you find Snippets of information that won't even necessarily make any sense to you otherwise does web these fragments together quite nicely though so it's not really necessary to Google things or look up anything on YouTube to figure it out see other Wilds chooses to tell you a grander story so the individual experiences of the things inhabitating its universe making them seem insignificant in the adventure you're having but then end up being the puzzle of pieces you
needed the most I think this is truly what plays a greater role in the message the game hopes to tell now this next part is a little bit personal but um I think it's important to talk about it because you know it's it's a part of the game A Game's experience you know so yeah let's see I I remember cleaning up after a small sauna evening yeah I was hosting it and uh everyone went home and it was late at night and I had just finished throwing all of the cans of whatever beverage you know
you could ever imagine [Music] as I was walking back to the front door of my house I took the chance to look into the sky just to witness the Stars you know and they were beautiful or beautiful than usual I think you do wasn't the perspective I had gained and I had this realization that I often thought about before I am tiny I am on fathomably small in comparison to almost anything that I can see up there is something insane happening out there at all times energy and mass in such Grand excellence and I'm down
here as a very small part of it which struck me the most was how elated and happy I felt about it at that moment usually waking up to how small you are doesn't motivate you nor does it make you feel like an importance to the universe but just then in that moment felt significant and small at the same time [Music] I think that one of the most important messages that alter Wiles gave to me was that no matter how insignificant you might feel in the overwhelming size of the cosmos Your Existence and your experience are
