Conor man for the victory. Hey, don't cry. I say what I say.
Damn. I said it. No, you did not.
No, you did not. No, you did not. No, you did not.
I say Hold up. Hold up. Hold up.
Congratulations, Ray. He did. He did what he did.
I'm loving it. Hey. Hey.
I know a man with a plan. I know when he laying low and playing slow. Yes, sir.
You hear me? You know. I know, bud.
Yeah, I know. I know. You know, cuz he want to fight you for real, though.
Everybody want to fight him. No, this this guy mean he say he called you out. I said you be hating on him and he tired of you hating on him.
Say he going to put a stop to that, [laughter] man. Who that? Ryan Terren Crawford.
No, not at all. He uh I despise him. So inspiration, despising, just, you know, kind of go together in a way.
Well, the reason the reason I'm asking is you obviously had a pretty lively exchange online where he's he's he's a little bit of a hater, Pierce. Um he he just doesn't like my success. He watches my fights with um he hate watches my fights.
Um him and his little crew, him Shakur, you know, they don't like how successful I am. They don't they don't think I deserve it or whatever they think, but they they definitely watch with hate. He's had a very long back and forth with Terrence Crawford.
Um it looks like he's positioning himself in the pool of fighters to be available if Crawford decides to return. What are your thoughts on that, man? He being a businessman.
Once again, he's active. He don't give a [ __ ] whether he win or lose with Terrence Crawford. Um I seen him talking about Terrence and then while he's talking about Terrence, he shits on Terren resume and he shits on the fighters that he fought.
What was your message? You know, as good as they say she is, she's probably uh stupid for saying what she did cuz she's got all this experience. How can a guy that just only had 22 amateur fights challenge a guy, my son, that has 200 over 225 fights and a 15 time national champion.
I mean, for her to say that, that's got to be stupid. I'm sorry. She's stupid.
Yeah, you're about to count them out. Come on, Ryan. You can get it.
Oh. Oh. Oh.
Oh. Come on. What you think, Floyd?
Come on. Keep going. Keep going.
Keep going. Ryan whooping his ass going. Yes.
See, I told you. Oh. [screaming] Oh.
Oh. I told you. Told you.
Told you. That's it. I told you.
What? Told you. Ryan won.
That was great. Most fighters who just secured the most devastating knockout of their career would be popping champagne and soaking in the glory. But the moment the referee pulled Ryan Garcia off a battered Connor Ben in Las Vegas, Ryan had zero interest in celebrating.
Instead, he grabbed the microphone, stared directly into the cameras, and unleashed pure venom on a man who wasn't even in the ring that night. The target wasn't an active contender hunting for his belt. It was Terrence Crawford, a retired pound-for-pound legend whose lingering disrespect finally pushed Garcia over the edge.
What followed was a savage verbal takedown that directly attacked Crawford's legacy. Is a hater, you know, and I really don't like him. What about huh?
You mean Big Mac? The same. The same thing.
They're haters. But you know what? We proved them wrong.
And that makes me the happiest man on earth. And you know what? Shut up if you don't know my son.
My son, he's 100%. It's hard. He's hard to beat.
So, I hope they didn't bet because if they did, they lost. And I'm so glad. I don't even got animosity anymore.
After you win, kick ass. You ain't nothing to say. What do you got to say?
The thing is when hate messes your um your lenses that bad, you can't even be mad at them. I would respect them more if they told the truth. Brian should win this fight.
I don't really [ __ ] with him, but he should win. That makes sense. When you go and try to say Connor is going to knock me out, do all this [ __ ] Like, bro, I always, no matter even if I don't really like you and what you're saying, I will always know what to say because I I follow the truth.
This is what it's going to be, bro. He's a great fighter. I don't think you fought the best.
I don't think that you fought everybody at their prime. Now, is that me being hater or just speaking facts, bro? To understand why Ryan exploded, you have to realize what just went down inside that ring.
For months, critics swore Connor Ben's raw physicality and relentless forward pressure would drag Garcia into deep waters. Ben had the size, the relentless engine, and a chip on his shoulder that convinced half the boxing world an upset was brewing. Now, I know you've had some back and forth with Terren Crawford.
Uh, what do you think of him backing Ben on this fight? Hater, that's how bad that that haterade he's drinking. It's probably that extreme version.
You know, he's he's clearly disrupted by the things I'm saying. You know, if it they weren't true, he wouldn't have responded. The fact is, they are true.
And I'm sorry that the truth hurts at times, but it is true. You didn't have the opportunities to fight the hungry young lions. That's just what it is.
And that's going to be facts. And we want you to stay retired. Just stay retired, bro, because life is good for you.
You [ __ ] Canelo. You made a bunch of money. Go on a big ass vacation.
Do something, bro. Leave us alone, bro. You're annoying.
Nobody knows who the [ __ ] you are, and I'm tired of hearing you. It's just annoying. Yet, inside of two rounds, Garcia completely shattered that illusion.
A lightning fast combination pinned Ben against the ropes, followed by a heavy assault that left the challenger totally defenseless. The referee leaped in to halt the beatdown. Ben had to be checked out in the hospital and Garcia walked away holding the WBC welterweight title in dominant fashion.
It was the kind of clinical destruction that should have silenced every single doubter across the globe. Ryan right here. Uh initial thoughts on the victory.
Um overall thoughts on the performance as quick as it was. Uh I think that um it kind of went exactly how I uh imagined it. Um he was gonna decide to put pressure on me right away.
um kind of baking on the uh banking on the idea that I may just start folding somehow. Um and just maybe get a little bit tired, but you know, you can't jump in like that. Just not not the move.
All throughout the week, you kind of I don't want to say you downplayed his skill set, but you know, you questioned his level compared to yours. So, after spending time with him actually in the ring, was he as good as you thought? Were Were you better?
Like, was he as like worse than you thought? I kind of want to say. So, like overall, what do you think of his performance?
Uh, no, he's exactly what I thought he was. And, um, you know, he just needs to gain a little bit more experience. Uh, I don't think he has enough experience at this point.
I don't like this. And, um, yeah, I just don't don't think he was as experienced as me, but I think he will be back. and uh you know he he went and tried to fight me.
Yet for Garcia, this victory wasn't just about Connor Ben. This was personal vengeance against the boxing establishment, specifically Terrence Bud Crawford. In the weeks leading up to fight night, Crawford didn't just pick Ben to pull off the upset.
He and his trainer Boac actively threw their support behind him. Crawford had spent months taking cheap shots at Ryan online, labeling him erratic, dismissing his boxing IQ and calling him stupid as s in public interviews. And Ryan Garcia vers Connor Ben.
I think Connor Ben, you know, I think Rley showed us all if you don't get hit with the left hook and and you land your big shots that you can neutralize Ryan and his ability to land his left hook. So, I I think Connor been, [music] you know, going in with a a great game plan. Uh Garcia even sat down on Club Sha Shay days before the fight and laid out the dynamic plainly, claiming Crawford operates like an entitled bully who simply cannot stand fighters who refuse to bow down and kiss the ring.
Ryan carried that disrespect directly into fight camp, turning Crawford's skepticism into pure fuel. Bro just hates on me. What he hating on you about?
I don't know. The man is a is is a three division undisputed champ. He just he's like a bully.
He likes to bully people and he just don't like how I just don't bow down to him. And I'm not saying that I don't respect his greatness. I do.
I respect what he's done. I just call it how I see it. You You left the game too early.
You don't really rumble with nobody that was hot and cra and ready to go like you are. And I keep it real. If you don't like it, then bro, Crimea River, you're out of the game, bro.
Stop having opinions on everybody else, bro. Shut up. Go to St.
Tropz and just shut the hell up. You know what I mean? Go hunt a little yacht and relax, bro.
Who Who you Who Who do you think is a beat? Boots. He didn't fight Boots.
He didn't fight Virgil. You think Boots could beat him? For sure.
100% Boots could beat him, bro. Terrence is [snorts] I'm just being real, bro. Like, he just took down the King.
Who? What? Canelo was slow.
You ain't been with like you don't get what no like he he had problems with Gamboa cuz Gambo boom boom boom boom. But did he beat Gamboa? Yes.
But look at he had problems. I'm just saying like you need a fast fighter to beat him. You can't have Aerrol Spence moving at 2 miles hour.
[ __ ] Canelo. Every shot is a load up. Like come on bro.
He knows what I'm talking about. That's why he be hating on me cuz I know boxing and I'm calling it how I see it. When the final bell rang and Ben was dismantled in under six minutes, everyone turned their eyes toward Crawford's social media.
The boxing community waited to see if Bud would own his bad prediction and give the young champion his flowers. Instead, Crawford logged on to X and dropped three cold, bitter words. Congrats, Meth.
[music] [music] There was no acknowledgement of Ryan's sharper timing, no credit for the devastating power, and certainly no apology. It was a sour, dismissive reaction that made it painfully obvious Crawford couldn't bring himself to respect Ryan, even when the proof was lying flat on the canvas. Fans immediately roasted the retired champion, calling him out for hiding behind a screen while making excuses.
Want to fight? No, this this guy mean he say he called you out say you be hating on him and he tired of you hating on him. So he going to put a stop to that, [laughter] man.
Who that? Ryan, something wrong with Ryan. Ryan do this before all his fights, you know.
Uh Ryan said, "I ain't never fought no fast young hungry lions, right? " You know, he must ain't paid attention to my career and looked at the people that I fought coming up, right? You know, u from 140 to 7 135 147.
Like it's cool, you know, for him to [clears throat] try to diminish, you know, the things that I've accomplished, but he How How old is Ryan? I don't even How old is Ryan? Ryan Ryan been, you know, a big name in a sport for for for a long time, right?
you know, and he's a one-time world champion at 28, you know, just one time. Yeah. You know, and he's fought, you know, some some some marquee names, but dude, this your first title defense, you know, and, you know, you'll be you'll be blessed if you accomplish half of what I've accomplished in the sport of boxing, right?
you know, so why you sitting over there talking, you know, and trying to take credit away from one of the goats, you need to, you know, keep stirring up some great wins and, [snorts] you know, get on that level. Garcia saw the reaction almost immediately, and during the post-fight press conference, the gloves came off. He didn't scream or act reckless.
He spoke with a cold, piercing clarity that caught everyone in the room off guard. Ryan pointed out that when pure hatred clouds someone's lenses that badly, you can't even take them seriously anymore. He told the media that he would have respected Crawford if he simply told the truth.
Even if Crawford couldn't stand him as a person, any honest boxing purist knew Ryan was supposed to outclass Ben. Crawford picking Ben wasn't an analytical breakdown. It was petty personal bias masquerading as boxing wisdom.
By the way, I saw Crawford hang out at the gym with Conor Ben on Friday. I heard that, too. Bro, what?
Goofy, man. Like, he's the biggest weirdo. Go Gucci.
Like I already stated before, like, bro is really a hater. Like, bad, bro. It's crazy.
He needs he needs to get out of retirement already. Just go. I agree.
But you think you would help prevent him being there? [ __ ] no, bro. He He I think I could be proper.
I don't give a [ __ ] about no counter man. No. No.
I know you could be proper. Exactly. That's the point.
Like I don't care who's training him. I don't give a [ __ ] who's giving the advice. Roy Mayweather.
[ __ ] anybody could give him advice. Roy was just in the gym with Shakor Stevenson. The goofy Avengers, bro.
Let's all perform this. At the end of the day, man, I'm here solo dooo riding by myself. Gunslinger.
You There's no friends in boxing. I learned that at heart. I hung out with Floyd before.
I hung out with everybody. I learned very quick. No friends in boxing, bro.
Pick to yourself. Have your team and that's it, man. Move forward.
That's it. I'm not here to shake hands and be loveydovey. I'll see you later.
Then Garcia went somewhere almost no active fighter dares to go. He took a sledgehammer directly to Terrence Crawford's untouchable resume. Ryan boldly questioned whether Bud ever truly went to war with elite killers while they were at the peak of their powers.
Crawford retired on top with a spotless record. But Garcia threw cold water on the entire narrative. He argued Crawford walked away from the sport far too early, carefully picking his spots and facing big names only when age or severe wear and tear had already diminished them.
Errol Spence was coming off a career-threatening car accident and long layoffs. Shawn Porter was on the verge of retirement and other top names were past their primes. Garcia called it speaking uncomfortable facts that the boxing media was simply to scared to utter out loud.
You notice what they all have in common. They all sound bitter and hateful. Bro, none of that nothing good comes out of that ever.
You know, they're obviously bitter, which I don't really care what they think. You know, at the end of the day, they can't fight for Connor Ben at all. They can't punch for him.
I know Crawford's at Connor Ben's gym trying to give him every technique he could give him. That [ __ ] ain't going to help cuz I feel like I'll beat your ass. So what you going to teach him, you know?
I feel like I'll beat you. So at the end of the day, they're they're trying to all come together, try to tear me down because they know I'm here and I'm about to take over. I potentially can be the face of boxing after this fight.
You're making here, Ryan. when you look back at where you were like 3 years ago, couple losses thrown in there, but you here you are and everyone else, Tank Davis gone, Deon Heiny, you know, turning down fights and here you are. I think it was my resilience and my uh passion for all elements of the sport, you know, from entertaining, from, you know, creating content to being a great fighter.
You got to be able to do it all in this day, you know. Um, times change, so you have to adjust and evolve with the times and make sure that you get good at everything. Content, you get good at, you know, your sport, being the best at your sport.
You got to be the best at everything you do or at least give effort into everything. If you don't, you're going to be falling behind the wheel. That's just the truth.
To pour even more gasoline on the fire, Ryan brought up the one name Crawford repeatedly avoided before hanging up the gloves. Jiren Boots Enis Garcia flatly claimed that if Crawford ever tried to step out of retirement to prove a point, Boots would dismantle him without question. Ryan then closed his rant with a line that instantly set social media ablaze.
He told Crawford that since he decided to walk away, he needed to pack his bags, head out to San Tropé, sip his drinks, and shut the H up. The message was unmistakable. If you don't have the stomach to strap on the 8 oz gloves anymore, keep your opinions off the internet.
Ryan Bulmarmac had You know, kind of doing Bo Crack on crack. You mean Big Mac? Oh [ __ ] Big Mac is his new name.
Yeah, Big Mac is crazy. That one's better than mine. I was going to say Bo Crack cuz he sounds like he on crack, but Big Mac is crazy.
Big Mac is tripping, bro. Ain't he changed it to Debo? Well, Mac changed it to Big Mac again.
Hateful dude. He don't know nothing about me. And then he just wants to say I'm trash.
that c don't wake up a sleeping giant. Like my god, one, I'm not afraid of giants. And two, I never even talked really.
I gave my honest opinion saying that he left a lot on the table. That's all I said. Crawford the is the one that's coming up and always, you know, slight hating on me little by little.
So if they want to come back, they can. But in the meantime, you're retired. You should be in Turks and Caos chilling on a yacht, right?
You know, enjoying your family doing why you, you know, because he's desperate, bro. Nobody knows him outside of boxing. So, he's doing everything he can to continue his name.
He's actually, he actually likes the attention. I used to think Crawford didn't, but now he now I know he does. He realized nobody cares after you retired.
Nobody cares. But if you want to come out of retirement, we're all here waiting. Virgil Ortiz, Booth Andis, all these guys that wanted to fight you.
If you really want to come back, come back. If not, just be quiet. It's not your turn anymore.
You had your turn. You had your run. There should be no more talking, bro.
This explosive exchange signals a massive shift in boxing's cultural hierarchy. For years, Crawford sat comfortably as the untouchable wizard of the welterweight division, immune to real criticism. But by destroying Connor Ben in breathtaking fashion, Ryan Garcia not only defended his title, he earned the leverage to say what many insiders had only whispered behind closed doors.
With this win today with the knockout, does this officially put you as the face of boxing. You got to say so, right? I mean, you have to say so.
You got to respect it. Um, you know, I'm going to hold that hold that [snorts] as as high as I can and try to always be the best champion and the b the best, you know, face of boxing I can possibly be. And I'm going to continue maturing, continue evolving.
The wisdom will get deeper. And I just want to thank God for everything he's done for me. Thank the Lord um for, you know, dying on that cross for me and giving me this opportunity.
It's it's amazing. And I'm going to keep going. And they say once you become a champion, you be you get 20% better.
Do you after this performance, do you feel like that's true? And do you do you feel like you got 20% better? I was just getting started in there, guys.
Um there's a lot of things that um I've been working on. But um you know, that's just uh another opportunity to show that in another fight. But yeah, I mean, me as a champion, it's much different.
I feel a deeper level of responsibility and um I can't wait to keep going. Crawford's salty reactions have painted him less like a revered Hall of Famer and more like a bitter bystander struggling with life on the sidelines. The only real question left is whether Ryan was simply venting post-fight adrenaline or if he finally expose the uncomfortable truth about one of boxing's biggest icons.
But what do you think? Would you love to see Ryan Garcia fight Terren Crawford? Who wins this fight?
