[Music] hey this is johnny here i'm just gonna go over today the difference between internally threaded jewelry and push pin jewelry we carry both types what i have here in my hand is a internally threaded labret an implant gray titanium you can see we just unscrew by screwing off the top of the internally threaded jewelry and you can see the threads there on the jewel itself and then the receiver is inside the bar that's to protect you from the thread so that they can't touch your skin as it's being pulled in and out the second
piece of jewelry i have here is the pushpin jewelry um generally i like to use these for people that have a hard time unscrewing them they're really easy you just push them together and pull them apart um the bar itself is uh on the jewel and what you're gonna do is that's gonna be slightly bent you can see there is it's slightly bent um it's got a little bit of a curve to it and then when you push it into the bar the post itself it actually straightens that and the friction of both of those
together uh are what hold it in place you can see here just push it in just pushes right together and you can loosen it or tighten it by bending the bar itself a little bit and uh it's pretty strong it doesn't pull out it won't twist off like the internally threaded one will but the internally threaded has the benefit of it not being able to be pulled apart uh the push pin can be pulled apart so um just to put back together the internally threaded jewelry here it screws together so obviously it's going to be
harder to pull apart but it can twist apart where the push pin can be pulled apart but it won't twist off so it's just a preference both are great um some are easier to take on and off than others um generally there's more jewelry available like different heads for the uh internally threaded than the push pin but you can see here i'm spinning off the push pin it doesn't just unscrew and fall off so depending on where it is one piece might be better than the other so thank you very much if you have any
