The mace is the most powerful weapon in all of Minecraft with the potential to deal an infinite amount of damage the higher you're falling [music] from. So, when I joined a server where every player starts with a normal mace, and getting kills with your mace upgrades it all the way up to a custom god mace with insane abilities and the power to ban other players, I knew that everyone on the SMP would be desperately trying to get it, but that I would be the only player to unlock it. Y'all ready?

So, with a little luck and some quick thinking, I had unlocked the wooden mace. The first step in my journey towards eventually getting the god [music] mace. But with eight more mace skills to go before I could finally obtain it, I needed a plan.
Okay, low key, that was way too close, man. Like, this upgrade is good and all, but like I got to get more of a head start if I want to I just got a message from Reddish. He said, "You're going to pay for that.
" Pay for what, bro? He attacked me first. But with stronger maces on the server and even stronger opponents who'd be wielding them, I had to be careful [music] since dying at any point would fully reset my progress back to a regular unenchanted mace.
However, before I could worry about all of that, I was completely broke. So, I headed to the caves. [music] Oh my, these freaking skeletons, bro.

Fire resistance. No shot. Dude, that's so clutch, bro.
That's actually clutch. Using a PvP method called breach swapping, which allows you to effectively deal double the damage to your opponents by quickly swapping to your mace just before hitting them. I was able to kill this player and upgrade my mace to copper, granting me with the fire resistance effect and saving my life.
I'm so lucky, actually. Wait. Okay, this thing has density three, breach 2, and I get wind burst.
That's sick. Okay, so now with Windburst, if I mace someone, I get launched back up into the air and then I can mace them again. So, being [music] one step closer towards eventually obtaining the god mace, I decided to begin looting the Nether.
[music] Smmithing template. Ooh, not bad. I wonder what the god mace does.
Cuz like honestly, with every mace, I don't even know what these things do. That was kind of tough. That was kind of tough.

Um, so the next thing I really need to get are wind charges. So, after trading with a ctographer villager to obtain a trial chamber map, I headed straight towards its location and began digging down. Okay, this should be the spot.
So, let's do this. Just need to get some breezes. I feel like if I farm for like an hour, I should be good.
But as I continued to dig down, I realized that I wasn't the first person to have found the trial chamber. [music] You got to be kidding me. Why is there someone every time, dude?
Like, I'm running out of time, bro. This is not good. Okay, do I just wait for him to leave?
like he could be really geared and he definitely has wind charges. So like I don't know about this, bro. Fighting this player without wind charges was a major risk since with him definitely having some, I would be at a huge disadvantage.
And [music] to make matters worse, dying this late into the server would completely throw my chances of getting the god mace off track. But then again, this could also serve as another mace upgrade. And if I waited too long, there is no telling if someone else would get the god mace first.

Since with five [music] more mace kills between me and the god mace, I needed to start getting some kills. So, with only three mace upgrades to go until I could unlock the god mace, I quickly replenished my loot and began hunting more players. However, after searching around the world for about an hour, I ran into a problem. Okay, it's been over an hour now and I haven't seen a single person.
I genuinely have no clue what to do. I need more maze kills, especially with Reddish, too, getting like a bunch more in the chat. I mean, if I got an elytra, I could track down players a lot faster, but like I'll have to go all the way to the end.
Then again, though, I'm pretty nasty with the elytra maze, so it might be worth it. [music] So, with no luck finding more players in the overworld, I decided that my best bet was obtaining an elytra since if I got one, I'd be able to fly around the server and easily [music] find players to get my last few maze kills. So, after locating a stronghold and filling in the portal, I entered the end.
Okay, I just got to quickly kill the dragon and then I can find the elytra. I got to hurry up, though, cuz like I took a short break from recording. But when I came back and saw the chat, Reddish literally got three more mace upgrades in a row.
