Couple of things too also. Um 24 well going to be 25 years ago now. Uh I was on the Sid Roth program and at the end of the program he had me pray and for the people that were listening both on the television and the radio broadcast and I prayed a prayer and then I guess it was a year last year before I guess it was uh we were going back to South Africa again. And we'd been in South Africa every year since 2008, which was the 100red-year anniversary of the founding of the Apostolic Faith
Mission of South Africa that John Lake started when he went there in 1908. And so we went over for that and we've been going every year since then, like I said. And a year or two ago, I guess it was, we were going to an area called Fish Hook. Fish Hook. And the pastor invited us to come there for a meeting. And so of course we agreed and to get His people ready to be able to understand me when I speak. Okay. He pulled up some of the old videos and one of them was from
Sid Roth and they he had all of his people watch it. He had on a big screen and I was obviously this is 24 25 years ago at that point. And so there was a man there that had a neck brace on. Couldn't move his neck. His neck was fused together. He was in constant pain. I mean, very severe pain. He was taking Some of the heaviest pain medication that's prescribable. And he was taking that and it still didn't kill the pain. He was still in tremendous pain all the time. Could not move his head
at all. If he wanted to look another way, he had to turn his whole body because his neck was literally fused together. And so they were sitting there watching and the man said, well he as he was watching uh the Sid Roth interview at the end when I Prayed now and this man wasn't expecting anything but when I prayed at the end all of a sudden he heard this snap, crackle and pop in his neck and the pain was gone and he could move his head. >> Now that was from a 24year-old prayer. >> God's
word is not dead. It is alive. It's always alive. You can you can go back. You can go online. You can go on YouTube and various other places like that and you Can pull up videos and still receive the same blessing of the word of God. I don't care how long ago that was. I'll be honest with you, very often I am pulling up on YouTube TL Osborne. >> Yeah. >> Dr. Dr. Lester Summerall, who was my mentor and the greatest man of God I've to this day I've ever met. And I told some people
one time, I said, you know, I hope someday to be half the man he was. And they said, well, you're about Half the man he was. And I said, I don't know, but I I don't but he he was amazing. And one of the things about him was that his mentor was Smith Wigglesworth. So when I was up in South Bend and we were there several years and I got to spend time with Dr. Summerall and really it wasn't so much his teaching because we we had received his teaching where we were at in Dallas
but it was watching him getting around him and watching and Being right off to the side when he was praying for somebody when he was ministering to somebody cuz he would cast a devil out in one second and turn around and hold a baby and just love the baby and be so gentle. It was amazing how he could just flow like that. And so I got to to watch him and then listen to him and he he was the first person I mean I'd read John Lakes's material and he exuded dominion and everything that he
taught. There was Always a spirit of dominion there that was the what he called the the spirit of primitive Christianity. And but Dr. Simro was the first person I ever saw really walk in that. He didn't hit it at times. He walked in it. This is how he lived his life. And I got to see that while I was there. And so there's, you know, Wigglesworth was known for being very gruff and, you know, just honest or just no nonsense. I mean, just he would not put up with Nonsense. And of course, as I said,
he was Dr. Summer's mentor. And so Dr. Summer was the same way. He just wouldn't put up with any nonsense. So he was just here it is, that's it. And there was no difference between, how can I say this? There was no difference between the spiritual and the carnal in the sense that wherever he was, it was spiritual. >> Yeah. >> There was never a carnal thing. It It's not like he switched gears like I see so many Christians do that they'll switch gears from the spiritual to the carnal. That wasn't that way with him.
Whatever he touched was spiritual. Whatever he did was spiritual. Uh to be honest with you, that's the way it is in the natural realm too to some degrees. You take some of the greatest uh sports figures and honestly I'm not a sports guy so you know I can't give you a whole lot of Details on that but I do know this there are people that are so good in their sport that they have transcended over into the spiritual and that it becomes a spiritual thing to them and and to the point where they can't mess
up. Why? Because they call it in the zone. Well, guess what? That's called being in the spirit. that it's it's the nearest thing the natural has to that. And so you you when I was around Dr. Summerall, that's the way he Was. He didn't switch. He was just always on. He was always who he was. He didn't have a different personality behind the pulpit. What you saw behind the pulpit was the way he was all the time. And so I was blessed to see that. There's a lot of stuff I gleaned from him. I didn't
even know I gleaned it at the time. actually it was several years later when things started coming out my mouth and I'm like whoa that was Dr. Summerall and I realized that's when I Got that. So there are things that when you're sitting in these meetings some things get packed away and you're getting stuff and you don't even know you're getting it. >> That's right. >> And then whenever the crisis comes it'll come out >> and then you'll go whoa wait what is that right? Is that I hope that's right. You know and so there's
there's these areas. Now a couple things I do want to Mention real quick. um you know we are uh in the process also of planting a church in Sarasota. We are seeing meeting you know with some of the fellow church planters you know even while we're here this time um and and throughout. Now the reason I'm saying that is because what we're seeing now this isn't just a ministry. It's not just John Jul Ministries. It's a movement. It is a movement. >> And how do I know that? Because people Are doing it without me there.
if it if I had to be there then it's just about a you know a man a ministry quote unquote anointing or whatever you want to call it but just recent a matter of fact it was so recent it was this morning that uh I received a text where few days ago they had a I guess it was like a zoom call type meeting and I don't know how many hundreds or even thousands of people were on it I didn't even know anything about it but was it was our Representatives and we see we don't
have country representatives. We have language representatives. Why? Because a country has many languages in it. And so we have a Russian language leader that does everything in Russian and people all over the world that are Russian or speak Russian can hear it and they go online and they listen to this message in Russian or you know Spanish, Italian, we've got it in all the German, we've Got it in all these different languages. And now our language leaders because they get results. You don't get to be a leader with us unless you get results. That's the
thing. All right? Uh if and if you don't produce results in 90 days, we'll find someone to replace you. It's that simple. Why? Because people are dying. >> And we don't have time to play games. We don't have time to, you know, uh give titles just to, you know, stroke Somebody's ego. >> This is about results. And so these people they it was a Frenchspeaking uh leader and he got online and they held this meeting and like I said I didn't know anything about it but even on the meeting uh many other pastors joined in
to the meeting that did not know anything about what we preach and then they started praying for people and people started getting healed all online. These people were not in the same area. They weren't laying hands. They were speaking the word and they were commanding in the name of Jesus sickness and disease to leave and people were getting healed. And so these other pastors started seeing it and now they want to they've joined in. They said we want to be part of this. And so we're seeing a movement around the world. Now right now we
have approximately 600 uh life team churches around the world that We oversee from Dallas at this point. As soon as I get done here, like I've already said, we're going to the UK. Well, as soon as I get done here, I go back to Dallas, do a three-day meeting. That's why, see, three days, 9 to 9 to noon, 2:00 to 5 every day, uh, for three days. So, when I come to meetings like this, this is a vacation, you know, when I only have to speak one or twice a day, that's that's vacation. That's not
nothing. And so, I go back to Dallas, I Do those three days. Sunday, I minister at the church there. And then Sunday afternoon, we fly to the UK and I'm meeting with our European leaders there. I think we got 70 some odd that are meeting with us at this point. And so we are uh and the primary reason for meeting with them is to see what the enemy is trying to do, have a time together prophetically, praying for one another, praying and honestly praying in tongues and then praying out the Interpretation. John Lake said that
uh praying in other tongues was the making of his ministry. All of his sermons that you've read, by the way, uh technically at this point, they are all still edited. They were edited before the other people got them. Uh I have the original unedited versions and now we are working with Harrison House and they're going to start publishing those. So we have a we're working on a contract with them. We're also working on a Contract with Sirius XM. How many of you got SiriusXM on your car radio? Anybody here? Okay. Well, we're getting a channel
247 365 will be this message and you can get it anywhere across the United States. So, we're doing everything we can to get it out there. We're starting the divine healing capital there just outside of Dallas. Uh it's going to be approximately at this point looks like it'll be around 50 acres, possibly more. We don't know yet, But we know about at least 50. And uh in that we are going to have a place where healing is practiced, taught, and and experienced every day. And we're actually opening something called Dominion Ranch, which is actually going
to be have some horses and dogs so that we can work with special needs children. Uh we're not using the h horses and dogs as therapy. We're using it as bait. Uh so that we can get the secular community To bring their special needs children and adults to us. And the real secret is we want to get our hands on them. And so we're we're going to have a place where they can come and stay where the sick uh I most of my life is dealing every day is dealing with the sick and dying. And
so people are trying to die all the time. We have to convince them not to and go back in there and show them why they shouldn't and then get the life of God to them. But some people want to Fight you for it. Some of them, you know, they just want to go be with the Lord. And uh you know, we try to tell them, you still got work here to do. And so we we've we're setting these things up where people can come and uh stay there uh if they're sick regardless of how serious
it is where they can come and stay and be there and be ministered to every day. Now this is kind of a if you want to have a natural way to look at or a a reference. It's kind of a Combination as I said between Miracle Valley that a Allen had but also what John Alexander Dowy had at one time. And so we are putting uh kind of that together. But the difference is this. Now here's the key. Our message is different from most messages. Same it was the same thing with John Lake. His his
message was different. When he died, his message pretty much died with him. Some of the sermons were collected by Gordon Lindseay and a few other people And they were edited. main reason they were edited is because the things that were edited out were things that the current religious people didn't like. And see, that's that's the thing about dead people. You get to quote the part you like and and and you can leave out the part you don't like, you know. And whenever Wigglesworth was alive, nobody visited him. He was at his home there on 70
Victor Road there in uh Bradford. And so Dr. Some Ross said Every time he went there, there was never anybody else there. You would think with a man of of Wigglesworth's stature in the church, there would have been a line down the street at least of young ministers at least just going in there. Just put your hands on me and just pray for me. But there was none of that. Why? They didn't like him. They only liked him when he was on the platform. Why? Because that's whenever he would be Ministering in power and they
would get what they wanted from him. See, people have a habit of coming to get what they want, not coming to get what they need. >> And that's why if you can give them what they want, then hopefully at the same time you have a chance to give them what they need. That's what I do, right? You come for healing, we can get you healed. That's not a problem, right? But what you need to do is learn how to minister healing To others. Why? Because sewing and reaping works. >> And if you'll sew healing, you'll
stay healed. So the more you sow healing, the less you need healing. It really works that way. Now there are times when the enemy, you know, will try to attack to shut you up or shut you down or take you out or whatever it is. One of the things we found is that if many times if you're very aggressive, then the enemy will try To hit you with something that is quick, sudden, and try to kill you. But if you're more of a passive person, which is probably 95% of the church because the whole atmosphere
of church as we know it is geared to create passive people. That's what it does. Why? Because pastors don't like aggressive people. Why? Because they got to deal with them. And so, uh, but when that happens, the enemy doesn't try to kill you quickly. He'll give you some slow, debilitating thing, something that'll wear you down, something that'll just drag on and on. Why? Because he feeds off of that. He loves to see you suffer. He loves He'll feed off your sickness and you become a host to a parasite >> called Satan and sickness and disease
and all these other things that are there. And so that's why he'll he'll try to hit you with something that won't kill you. Because especially if you're a Christian, because if you're a Christian and especially if you're a spiritfilled Christian, you believe God can heal and you talk about God healing, then whenever you have a long, slow, debilitating thing, you're a walking billboard that God doesn't keep his word. And the devil loves that. >> He loves to use Christians say, "Well, what about them?" >> And see, when you hear somebody say, "Well, okay, that healing
stuff, but What what about so- and so? and I know so and so and they didn't get healed. Well, guess what? That's the voice of Satan. What's he saying? Did God really? Hath God really said that healing is in the atonement? See, that's the way the devil works. I I love how you talk about from the green room to the to the pulpit. You can things can change this and you go out there with notes and all that. And then I think sometime God lets us do notes just to give us a false Sense of
security. you know, just it's like, okay, if you don't show up, I can always go back to my notes, I guess. I I don't know. But if you look at my notes, it's all just scripture and then you go there. So now, but and and it's that's beautiful because what you do, see, that's a principle of spiritual warfare. It's called the the principle of surprise. There roughly nine different principles in warfare and in spiritual warfare as well as in natural warfare. They they they're identical and that's a principle of surprise. The devil doesn't know what
you're going to do. So, he can't prepare a defense. Okay, let me give you an example. We went to Jacksonville, Florida years ago. And I went in there, they said, "Would you come in and minister?" And I said, "Yeah, come in." But we didn't have time to stay there for three days and really train people. So really what they wanted was just a healing service. So we went In, talked a little bit, I think half of the day or whatever, and then did a healing service and it was amazing. I mean, people coming out of
wheelchairs, throwing crutches down. He's just And then reports coming back. Cancer was gone. I mean, you you name it. Just all kinds of things. So, we're leaving there and the pastor was telling me, "Please come back. When can you come back and do a full training?" I'm like, "It'll be at least six months." He said, "Okay, let's Schedule it." So, we scheduled it. Six months later, we're getting ready to go back down there. We show up. We found out and I see I went to the meeting and when we got there, we found out that
every other church in town were having meetings the same week. Now, now they didn't coordinate it amongst themselves, >> but there was a coordination taking place. >> Why? Because the enemy was trying to Keep people away from our meetings. >> So, he tries to do other meetings around there to keep the people back. Cuz some pastors when they find out you're coming to town, they'll set up a meeting on purpose >> to keep their people there because they're afraid you're going to try to steal them. And I'm like Dr. Somerall. I said, "I'm not a
a sheep stealer, but if they wander into my pasture, I ain't known for sending them back." So anyway, So that's kind of the way I feel. So I actually got that out. Did you notice that guy? I got that out. Sheep stealer. Last time I said that, I said it was a steep sheer. I don't know. But so but we had these meetings and we're great. And the pastor said, "Please come back." So we said, "Okay." So we come back in. I do the first part of the meeting and then by the time it gets
to the healings, I mean, the even the teaching and the ministry of the word was just Like swimming through mud. I mean, it was the hardest thing. Everything I'd throw out just came right back to me >> and like just hitting a wall and sticking if if it stuck. Nothing nothing stuck with the people. And so, finally, we had the healing service. Healing service, people got healed. But it wasn't just the ease. It wasn't the flow that happened before that. We had to fight through everything. And that fighting through, you know, There's different words for
healing that's used in the New Testament. One is therapeu, which is where we get the word therapy. That's the number one way Jesus healed people was through therapo. Not therapy like a physical therapist, but it means it's a it's a way of healing that re there's a touch that requires corresponding action or a response. That's why Jesus said, "Stretch forth your hand." The man could have said, "Uh, duh. You what do you how do you Think you think I would have done?" So, but he had to do something >> to get to that right when
Jesus told the man take your bed and walk right the man had to take up his bed if he had just laid I can't do that >> then see he wouldn't have he wouldn't have received now the power was there but nothing would have happened per sake do do you get that and so there's different ways now so we we're going through all this stuff and so finally we Get done things happen it was good uh wasn't as good as the first time and so I went back to the hotel room and I'm talking to
God about it and I'm saying, "What's going on here? What is happening? Why was it like this?" He said, "You gave the enemy six months notice that you were going to come back here." And he's had six months to build up a defense. He said, "You broke through it, but you had to fight through it." He Said if you'd have kept it to yourself, he said it would have been ease like the first time because there are territorial things and ter and spirits in some areas don't communicate with spirits in the other areas. So, okay,
I might need it. I don't know. Okay, there we go. But the [clears throat] spirits in Jacksonville, Florida didn't communicate with the spirits of other places we had been. Why? Because they don't work together. That's why their kingdom has to fall. You get that? They're not they're not in union. Now, sometimes in a certain area, they will work together a little bit when it's for their benefit. But I'm saying all that to get back really to this point because I want to take you I want to show you where we're going to go here real
quick. Uh the sirenian woman with the crumbs. Love that. Do you realize that that woman? Well, Jesus told her, he said, "Man, Because of your faith." That great faith. Two people to had great faith. The Roman centurion and this woman. Why was that great faith? Number one, she didn't have a covenant. She had no right to ask. She had no reason to ask. The gospel had to be preached to the Jew first and then to the Gentile. She was a Gentile. That's why Jesus said, "Ch, this is for the children's bread. This is children's bread."
And she, look at this. This woman wasn't even a covenant Person. and she says, "No, listen. I don't want the whole loaf. >> Just a crumb, >> will get my daughter healed." >> And yet we got Christians. I need a double portion. I need this. I need that. I need hands laid on me 10 different times. I need these. At least be as smart as a non-venant person. >> Yeah. >> And say, "You know what? Just a touch. >> Just a touch." I I've done that all over The world. I tell people, look, it's just
a touch. It's not I don't have to force it into you. I tried that. It's too strenuous, >> right? I did that in the beginning. I mean, I would grab people by the head and I'm straining blood vessels. They're puffing them. Take take it, receive it, you know, and they're standing there looking at me like, you know, [laughter] >> and then, you know, finally I saw this Guy the way he ministered and I'm like, that's the way to do it. And I'm like, that's the way I'm doing it next time. You see, you don't have
to be original. I'm not an original. I'm a conglomeration, right, of Wigglesworth and Lake and and all of those that have come before us. Why? Because all of their DNA has come up. That's why I read their books. I I don't read a lot of new books. I read the books from the old. And the good thing about reading the old books, the best books are in the clearance section and they're half price. You know that? See, I I I read John Wesley. I read uh his testimonies, his the things that went on with him.
Uh Charles Finny, you know, some of these different people. Uh George Mueller is another one. Uh how he lived by faith, fed and clothed and educated over 10,000 orphans in his lifetime and and didn't ask for Money, trusted God, and matter of fact, didn't even feel called to do an orphanage. He said, "I'm choosing to do this because I want to show the world that God is still the father to the fatherless and that he will take care of the orphan." >> He didn't even say he had a calling to it. >> And yet, look
what he did over those years. It's amazing. And George Mueller, Hudson Taylor, all these guys learned to live by faith. That's what uh Pentecostals called living by faith in the early days of Pentecost. And so I I've gathered these things up. John Alexander Dowi, yes, he went off at the end, but at least, you know, we went off. You don't have to follow that. >> Look what all he accomplished with God before he went off, right? And he did more uh honestly for the body of Christ in roughly 10, 15 years. And and he did
it all without any form of mass communication. That's amazing what he did all over the world. Now, and and the beauty of that is you can you can glean from these people. Listen, if you can't glean, then the the word disciplehip means nothing. A disciple is supposed to be like his master. Paul said, "Follow me as I follow Christ." Well, guess what? I follow Paul as he follows Christ, right? And I read his stuff. I follow John Lake as he follows Christ. I I follow Dr. Simmerall as he followed Christ. And so, I look at
these and that they become my disciplers, right? Why? because there's not a lot of people around that you can go to and be discipled. And so that's one of the things now that God has seen fit to put me into more of a fathering situation. And I'm not saying I'm all that thrilled about it, but I'm just saying that that's the case that he has started using me in those areas. So I'm going to Give you a scripture, give you a couple of them here. First off, in 1 Corinthians chapter 16 verse 13, it says
this. Now, the reason I'm saying all this is because you have to realize, man, listen, if you get around me and we're talking stuff, I am joyful. I am happy. Um I I enjoy uh you know, a good joke. I mean, come on. I mean, I enjoy I en I enjoy the the grace of God in my life >> and I live in it and I and I and I thank God for it. And but when you're around sickness and disease every day and when you have a grave in McKini, Texas, like I do where
I buried my daughter, there's a very realness. There's a very solemnness, somnity, as they would say, that you're always brought back to that and a lot of the levity sometimes loses its allure. Why? Because I actually had a person that wanted to work with me one time. He and His wife, they we sat down. My wife was with me. We sat at a table at a restaurant. We were talking about it and this person wanted to come and travel with me and and but and he he was saying, you know, how much you wanted to
travel with me. And then his wife started and she said, "Well, now but what we need to know is, you know, we're we're very family oriented and and he he needs to make sure he has holidays off uh you know, and the these different Holidays he needs to be at home and not travel and you know cuz you know he needs this time off and and she just kept on going on. It was talking about every holiday and all these kind of stuff." And I said, "Well, first off," said I can't promise you that. I
said, "But number two," and she goes, "Well, you know, he he needs these days off." And I said, "Uh," and I was sitting there. I was getting mad at her by the second. I'm not kidding. I was getting Mad. This was years ago. And I was getting mad. And I'm sitting there and my wife could tell, you know, some of you might not tell it when I'm mad, but she knows. She can look at me and go, "Oh." And so she reached over and started tapping my leg. Calm down. Calm down. And I'm I'm just
And I said, "Let me tell you something." And she goes, "Curry." So And I said, "Let me tell you something." And I said, "Why you want to hang all your little You you want your white picket fence, you want your little house, you want your 2.3 kids, you want your all these little things, and you want to hang your decorations, and you want to take time off from God to hang these decorations and do all that and have your good little time." I said, "While you're taking time off, cancer is still eating. It's still killing
people. It's still working on people." I said, "Cancer doesn't take a day off." >> That's right. >> And well, well, I mean, I said, "No, no, no. you had your time. I said, "How's my time?" And I started telling her and I started telling her, I said, "And when you start to get serious with God, maybe your husband will travel with me." I said, "Till then, he ain't going nowhere." Well, then later on, I'm a big softy, >> right? [cough] He um I let him go with Me on a trip and as we were going,
he said, "Uh well, before we left, he said, "Uh yeah, my wife would like to come on the trip." I said, "No." And he he he said, 'Well, you know, it's just I mean this, you know, my life would my my wife would like to No. I said, "It's just going to be me and you guys, right? We're usually how we travel most of the time on the road." And I said, "No, she's not going to she she's not going to come. She's not going to go With us." So, we get there, we start having
the meeting. We're in the hotel next door to each other. We're in the hotel. Uh we go off to the meeting, preach all day, come back in. When I get back in, she's there. She followed him up in her car later. Why? Because she wasn't going to be told what she could do. And so I looked at him and I said, "Go home." And I sent him home. And trying to think if we've spoke since Then. I don't know. This was years ago, right? Why? Because I will tell you, I don't play. >> I am
serious about this, right? There is a seriousness. I had a God speaks to me in like pictures, flashes at time, just a and there it is. And in that picture, it's worth a thousand words, right? And so I s and what I saw was this woman, a little woman, not really elderly, but just a little woman, uh, you know, middle-aged or beyond. And she was Carrying and she she had this weight. You could see she was trying to brace herself up and she was carrying what looked like a somewhere between a 35 and a 40
year old man and it was her son and she was carrying him and as she's carrying him she's got a bottle in his mouth >> and that was the picture and then immediately God reminded me of some of the you know TV sitcoms and things now and if you've ever seen one of those Where A like a man can be married, have a family, have a wife, children, all that, be successful, and his mother shows up >> and the minute his mother shows up, he becomes that little boy again. >> That's right. >> All of
a sudden, everything and the mom's always, "Oh, you're my son. You're good." And, you know, always doing on him and that kind of stuff. And he just loves that, you know, the attention, all That. And all of a sudden, he starts becoming a little boy and acting like a little boy again. And so when I saw that, I knew what God was pointing me to. That's the church. >> The church is this 35, 40 year old man being carried with a bottle in its mouth. Whenever this scripture that I'm fixing to read to you tells
you the opposite because he says in 1 Corinthians chapter 16 and verse verse 13, it says, "Watch ye stand fast in the Faith. Quit you like men. Be strong. See, we have to rise up. We can't keep as ministers, we can't keep treating you like babies. >> We can't. >> You'll never grow up. >> If we keep treating you like babies, >> that's the truth. >> We have to start treating you like people that know better. >> That's right. which means there's too many times we Have to rebuke and times that we have to say
things that that honestly we don't want to say. But if we're going to be faithful to God and to you, we have to say things sometimes. And sometimes it's uh, you know, like a slap in the face. And so, but Paul had no problem with that if you believe Paul wrote the book of Hebrews because in the book of Hebrews, Paul said, and actually, you know what? I'm I'm not going to do that. I'm not going to do that. Okay. I was going to take a poll. I was going to say, how many of you
have been Christians for a month? No, please don't raise your hand. Nobody. Okay. In any of these, how many of you have been Christians for six months? How many of you have been Christians for a year, five years, 10 years, 20 years, 30 years? See, I was going to get and get you ready, but I'm not going to do that. I'm going to be Nice, right? Why? Because Paul said, "When by reason of time you should be teaching others, you have need of another to come and teach you which be the very basic principles of
faith." >> Listen, John Lake is a legend in the body of Christ in the Pentecostal charismatic camps. He's a legend. People love his testimonies and most of them they get half right, right? Why? Because testimonies things They kind of grow over time if you're not real careful. John Lake never stopped the bubanic plague in South Africa. There was never a bubanic plague outbreak in South Africa. Be kind of hard to start one if or to solve one, finish one if one was never there. However, he did stop what was called the Blackwater fever plague, which
was actually a deadly strain of malaria. He did stop that and he did hold the foam in his hand and they looked at it Under a microscope and first it was alive and when he held it, it was dead. And they said, "How'd you do it?" And he said, "The law of the spirit of life in Christ Jesus has set me free, made me free of the law of sin and death." And so now that legend grew to where now it's a bubonic plague and now it's this thing and that thing. And all you got
to do is do some research, right? It's it's very simple. But he still had over a 100,000 healings In a 5-year period. Not just him. Him and 16 other people he trained. He trained them how to minister healing. And most of the testimonies, the really good testimonies weren't even under his hands. It was under those 16 men and women that most people don't even know their names. And two of them even came with him or came to him from Zion had been under Dowi and he called them and said, "Hey, come help me do this."
Because they had a good solid foundation In healing under Dowi. So they went there and worked together and he trained them. See, most people don't think you can be trained to minister healing. You can. Jesus trained his disciples. They watched what he did. He discipled them. That's what a disciple does. A disciple watches their disciper and they become like their master and then they go do it. And we see that in the world today. I mean, come on. If anybody has sat under brother Hagen's Kennethy Hagen's Teaching, you know, for any length of time and
then they get up to preach, you can tell it. You know it right away. I mean, the first thing, half the time, the first thing they're going to do is they're going to open your Bibles. Mark the 11th chapter, 22nd verse. you're going to go Kenneth Hagen, right? And so you can tell who people sat under at times, right? Why? Because they become like their their master, like their discipler. And that's the way Jesus intended it. He intended us to look like the people that we sat under to glean from their DNA to become like
them, but to surpass them. Well, [snorts] with John Lake, f 100,000 healings in five years in Spokane, moved to Portland. People were saying, "Oh, that's because this is a spiritual place." And they said uh he said I can do it anywhere. So he moved to Portland, did the exact same thing. Another 100,000 healings in five years. He did The exact same proved it was not a spiritual place that it was the word of God. And so now the the the ministry, the teaching that that really birthed a legend, now that same ministry is literally launching
and raising an army. We have ways to train now that they did not have when John Lake was alive. >> I can disciple people in South Africa. >> Why? Over the internet. And and we have Done that. And we've got disciples all over the world to be honest with you. And they're getting results and testimonies that are coming in. That's why we're trying to get this message out to more and more people. And it's very simple because I can get you what you need. Why? Because I have the spirit of God in me and he
has what you need. But at some point, you got to quit coming and drinking from the well and start handing out water from the well. And you Got to start taking it to others and rise up and be the ones be the deliverers and not just the receivers. >> Amen. So when I speak to you, I don't speak to you as little babies. Now, if you're a little baby, that's fine. Guess what? The you you'll grow up quick. Why? Because I don't just give you the milk, per se. Right? Now, it's very simple. The word,
the Bible says to desire the sincere milk of the word that you may grow thereby. So milk is good. The word Is milk. Right? Paul said, "I wish I could give you meat, but I can't." Ain't that right? He said, "I have to give you milk." You know what that means? There's no meat in Corinthians. Why? Because he said he couldn't give it to you. He said he couldn't put it in there. So don't go in there and go, "Oh, I'm digging into Corinthians. I'm getting the meat out." No. Listen. The word is the milk.
Doing the word is when the milk becomes meat. >> When you start doing it. Why? Because what is the meat? Jesus said, "My meat is to do the will of him that sent me." >> So meat is not what you're learning. need is what you're doing with what you learned. >> That's growing up. As long as you're a baby, you need milk. As you start doing the word, you'll start growing up and you start recognizing the meat. You start recognizing now you can tell that's true, that's false. Why? Because By reason of time, now get
this. You have to realize that actually it's by reason of of you exercise your senses so that you can discern between good and evil. That's what the Bible says. Isn't that right? So, how do you discern between good and evil? By exercising your senses. In other words, you get in the word. You do the word. And you go, I've done this. I know that's true. That right there, that can't be true because I've done this, and it is true. So, the Word is true, and now I've exercised my senses to be able to discern good
and evil, right? Why? Because, see, you come to me, I listen, I've fired almost every kind of weapon you can imagine, right? I have several, okay, to be honest with you. So, you tell me that a particular type of gun or something like that. Oh, that's this and it'll do that and that. Well, guess what? I probably shot it and I can tell if you're lying or not. Now, you may not be lying on purpose. You may Just be repeating what you heard before from somebody else. But the one thing I'll know for sure, you
ain't never shot it. >> Why? Because you keep repeating the lie or the wrong information. I'll be nice, right? But once you've fired it, you can't be fooled. That's right. >> That's why there's so many isms and schisms and and and and doctrines of devils out there that the church embraces. >> Why? Because they're constantly doing or hearing and never being a doer. And as long as you're a hearer and not a doer, you can be fooled. >> But once you start doing, you can't be fooled anymore. You come to me and say, "Well, healing
passed away. Don't waste your time." >> Why? Well, I I I do it every day. You get it? I do it. People in front of me, people on the telephone, people over internet, I mean email, you name it. Tell me how God won't do this or won't do that. No, he is looking for ways to get it done. He's not looking for how to cut you out of it. He's looking for more laborers. >> Why? Because the harvest is ripe. >> It's riper now than it's ever been. Are you getting this? >> Yes, sir. That's
why when I come to anywhere, when I go anywhere, everything I do is to try to raise the body of Christ so that when I leave, there's Somebody there that can carry on what I did while I was there. >> That's the whole purpose. My purpose, listen, I'm not looking for a place to preach. I got invitations. We could stay busy the next three or four, five years, easy, right? I'm not looking for a place to preach. I'm looking for people that want to do something. What I'm looking for is people that has ears to
hear. And if you have ears to hear, then you hear what I'm saying. Because listen, I do not expect if I speak God's word, I do not expect one of his words to fall to the ground. That means I don't expect one of my words to fall to the ground. That means now it's a matter of soil, not word. Why? Because you are born again of incorruptible word. Isn't that right? The word of God, incorruptible seed, the word of God. Now you have to realize your soil which is you see the the seed is always
the same. There's no difference in the seed. The Seed is incorruptible. There's life in the seed. As soon like we heard as soon as seed gets in the soil it'll start to grow. As long as it's not in soil it won't grow. >> But you put it in soil. Now there's four kinds of soil according to Mark chapter 4. So you got to decide what kind of soil you are. First three produce nothing. >> Yeah. Only the last one produced anything. And now in that last one, it Produced 30, 60 or 100fold. Which means that
last soil is a type of soil. It's not an individual person. It's a type of soil that produces. And the people in that soil, the people of that soil, they produce 30, 60 or 100fold. But that's the word. So the word has to go in. So whenever I speak the word, I expect it to go into your hearts. Now, the reason I get so detailed is because you have to understand it. It's not my preaching. It's your understanding. >> Do you get that? >> It's not about me preaching. >> I mean, I got lots of
stuff, you know, recorded. I'm not looking just to record more stuff. My goal is to get you to understand because if you don't understand, as soon before the service is over, the enemy, the devil, comes immediately to steal the word that was swn in your heart. So, I've got to explain it a way. If I only get to cover one or two scriptures, so be it. >> Because with those one or two, listen, you beat the devil with one scripture. >> That's right. >> John 3:16. >> When he owned you, he couldn't keep you from
coming to God when he owned you. Now that he doesn't own you, come on. How much how much do you think he ought to have impact in your life? >> He comes at you with sickness or disease or any of those things and you look like what is that? Not today, devil. Not Today. And not tomorrow either. >> Amen. Are you getting a hold of this? >> There has to come a time when we start to say, you know what? I'm not just a person sitting in a chair. I'm a child of God. I'm a
son. I'm an heir. I'm a joint heir with Jesus Christ. Everything he has is mine. So, devil, back off. >> That's right. >> And see, the beauty of it is this. Even the crumbs, like we talked about before, I I can You have to realize there's two there's two parts. I firmly I want everybody in here to have faith. Okay? I want you, but honestly, faith really comes when you put the word of God into effect in your life because the word can come and faith can be there. But if you don't mix that word
with faith in you, in other words, if you don't take that faith, you get faith for whatever word you hear, it's right there. But you have to decide that is mine. Amen. >> And when you do that and you mix faith with it, now you start to step out into these things. But you have to decide if you're going to step out into it or not. >> Or if you're just going to keep coming and feeding, >> right? And and some preachers are good with that. I'm not. I I'm not good with that. I'm I'm
not looking for a crowd. I'm not looking for that. I'm I'm looking for laborers that want to actually watch God do stuff through Their hands. And then I want to hear the testimonies. I It's It's more fun now for me to get testimonies of other people that have gone through the training and know what to do than it is for me to do it myself. >> It's amazing. You look see it's it's not, you know, just an anointing or or even a gift. It's the word. And there are people and like I said, I want
you to have faith. I want you to Have faith. But if you don't, you're not left out. Why? John Lake had a man come to his office one time. Man came in with a crutch. John Lake was sitting behind his desk and he's sitting there and the man comes in and and starts talking about his problems. And the man says, "Uh, it's kind of funny." He says, "I'm I'm a good Catholic." And he says, "I don't want anything that'll hurt my religion." [laughter] And he said, "I don't have Now, get this." He said that and
he said this, "I don't have faith in God." He just said he was a good Catholic. Anyway, he said, "I don't have faith in God. I don't have faith in man." He and then he asked John Lake, he said, "What can you do for me?" And John Lake pushed himself back from his desk, got up out of his chair, walked around his chair, and said, "That's okay. I got enough faith for Both of us." >> I read that in a newspaper clipping, and something happened. And then I started searching. And I went back to the
Bible and found out, yeah, you can actually have faith for other people. Now, you can't understand, you can't have faith for them, you know, to get saved. In other words, you can pray and believe God and God will bring them people around them and all that kind of stuff. So, they can't get saved on your Faith, right? Why? Because salvation has to do with you submitting your will to God. >> But healing, see, you don't need faith for healing for me to get you healed. Why? Because I have faith in God and he made a
promise to me that who I lay my hands on, they shall recover. >> That's between me and God. You hear that? That's not between me and you. >> I don't have Listen, if you have faith to get healed, what do you need my hands For? You got faith to be healed. You get healed right where you are. >> Now, I want you to have faith to be healed and live healed. But I don't that's not a requirement. So, I don't that's you know how easy my job is. I don't have to preach to you, you
know, for 10 years trying to put faith in you. >> I can preach the gospel and then demonstrate the gospel by getting you healed and then you'll believe it and jump in. See, I don't have to, well, Have you got faith? You got much faith. Have you got faith? Have you got faith? I don't know if you have faith. Maybe you have faith. Maybe together we can have faith. None of that. you know is there any sin in your life or any generational curses or you know is there anything that you know is there any
unforgiveness in your life I don't know why people say is there any sin and then unforgiveness unforgiveness is sin I don't know why they separate them but he Goes through all the you that's how most ministers have to go through my job is easy what can I do for you that's all I what what do you want that I should do unto you I want to receive my eyesight oh God please come down in power and No. How did Jesus answer? Receive your eyesight. >> There you go. That's what we've done around the world. See,
he's the thing in the world. >> Do you get it? This is what you've got If you're a believer. I'm not telling you something I got. And I'm not talking about anointings and gifting. We ain't got time to go into all that. Mark, do you realize in in the and I got to hurry here, I guess. Well, kind of hurry. In Matthew chapter 9, starting in verse 35 and going to Matthew chap 10:1, Jesus sees the multitude, has compassion, heals every sickness and every disease among the the people. Then he tells his disciples, listen guys,
the harvest is Too right. Pray the father, pray the lord of the harvest that he will send forth. That word send forth. You would think that word send forth would be the Greek word aposto. Why? To apostle to send forth with a mission, with a message. No, no, no. It's the Greek word echbalo. Echbalo is the exact same word used by Jesus or used about Jesus when he cast out devils. Ebalo means to cast out. Do you get that? So what he was saying was pray the lord of the harvest that he will cast out
laborers >> into the harvest. >> Yeah. >> Now I I have found and this is true. It is easier to cast out a devil than it is to cast out a Christian. I'm telling you because devils know they must obey. Christians think they get to pick and choose. But that's the word he used that he would send forth, thrust out, cast out laborers into his field. And then he turns around and it's funny because then he turns around to his own disciples and goes, "Oh, thank you, Father. That was quick. Here's 12 right here. Let's
start." And he goes, "Now I'm getting what it says. He gave them power, exusia, authority. The right to govern. He gave them power. Authority, right? To do what? Cast out devils. It says Against devils. Notice he didn't give them power over devils. He gave them power against devils. There's a difference. Anyway, I ain't got time to go into but then [clears throat] it said and he gave them power and he gave them power, okay, to heal every sickness and every disease among the people. He he duplicated himself. That's exactly what it says in verse chapter
9:35 of what he was doing. He just duplicated himself. Now get This. This is before the day of Pentecost. They didn't have the Holy Spirit. You know him. He is with you and shall be in you which means he was not in them at the time. >> Right? >> And you'll notice there it does not say that at that point that he gave them authority exusia and power dunamis. All they had was authority. Oh, you already get a hold of this. People think, well, I just don't have power. Oh, okay. Forget that authority. >> They
went out and cast out devils and healed the sick with nothing but authority. >> Do you get that? Yes, >> he gave them the right to govern. That's what they went out for. Now, if you're watching by internet or whatever any other way that you're watching, go ahead and switch over into social media and we're going to carry on Just for a few more minutes. And if you don't do that, then you're not real serious anyway. So, bye. Anyway, okay. So, I'm being as nice as I can. All right. But I ain't got time for
people that don't want to do something. Yeah. Yeah. >> See, that was my problem in the early in my early days of learning. Man, I had I was around people that wanted to do something for God. And we'd go to church and we'd hear these great things that God could and would and wanted to do. And then we go, "All right, let's go do this." Oh, well, >> you're not anointed. >> You're not called. You don't have a gift. You don't have a prophecy. I mean, it's like might not be the will of God. And
it put the brakes. people that really wanted to do something for God, the doctrines of the church put the brakes on that and goes, "Okay." And then we just said, "Okay, we'll just sit Here till we die." >> Well, I didn't listen to that. I was at least smart enough at that point to leave that dumb dead thing and go out and I had to go literally outside the church and go to God's generals and look at what they said and start doing what they did. And when I did that, I started seeing it working.
>> And then guess what? I go back into the church and church is, "Oh, this is great. This is wonderful. You're so Anointed. You're so gifted." And I'm like, >> I fill myself with the word of God. >> And when I open my mouth, that's what comes out. And his word, his word, he sent his word and healed them, >> delivered them of their destructions. Amen. He sent his word and his word in his word is health and and well life and health to all their flesh. His word. See, even even while I'm speaking, his
word is going out. And if you have Ears to hear and you receive it, you can get healed sitting there. You don't need my hands. You can you just get healed. You just right. I believe this. This is me. This is who I'm supposed to be. I'm supposed to rise up and be this. And you know, one of the things I loved about Dr. relate was that uh when I started doing research for him and I got all the names of the people that was in his church and People that was around him that were
still alive u even up into the 90 1990s when I was doing a lot of my 80s and 90s and I talked to over 125 people that had been in his church and the these people were in their 90s and so I'm asking him well what about this how'd he pray what did he do all and they said oh well you know back in in March of 1933 we were at a meeting on that Sunday which was the the the 14th and and I'm talking to 90 year old people and I'm like wait how do
you remember this and they gave details and they go oh and this had happened through several people so I was amazed I said how how do you how do you remember this and they said oh Dr. Lake used to teach us that when he teaches the word, the word goes out and that word is life and that life gets into the very cells of our brain and the memory of the righteous [snorts] is blessed. >> Now, if you go back and read that, that's not really the context, but they believed it >> and that life
went into them. And I was talking, I mean, many of them were over 90 and they had perfect recall. It was amazing. Why? because that's the word of God. That seed of the word of God goes into the person and brings life. See, that's why I don't need, you know, cancer healing power, uh, leukemia healing power, um, you know, HIV healing Power and deliverance power to cast out de. No, no, no. It's all life. That's what we have. He said, I came to give you life and that and abundance. That life, that life takes whatever
form it needs. That's why see if I only had one kind of power then I would have to stand in front of people and go what can I oh I'm sorry I can't have you have to go down I know a person let me give you a number you can call them no no no why because it's no Longer I that live it's Christ who is in me and he can meet every need so no matter what they have he's there and whatever they need he puts in my hand as they need it >> and
I don't have I don't even have to know what they need >> that's the why because I'm not the healer >> I'm not a doctor I don't need your medical stuff, right? >> All I need to do is get my hands on you. >> And I can do that with hand. I can do that with words. Let me tell you, you can you can release the spirit of God through a look. >> Peter fastening his eyes upon them said, "Look on us." You can release the power of God through a look through your eyes. There
is power that can be released through a look. And every husband knows I'm telling the truth. Amen. I mean, come on. You know that look. You know that look. And that look Conveys a message, does it not? >> I'm just telling you. And I will tell you, you know, uh we were Mark and then Mark Henkins the other day was talking about how long he and Trina have been married. And uh we've been married almost the same length of time. Actually, this year will be my wife and I's 49th anniversary. 49 years. Right. Amen. And
um when when people ask how ask her how long we've been married, she goes, "Well, it's 49 years, but it's a life sentence." So So and she tells me all the time, "Living with you or living with Curry is what she'll say. It's like living with Patton." And I'm like, "Ah, Patton was a wimp." No, no, seriously. No. But but see the thing okay you know just for a second what is it about patent everybody knows oh blood and guts right Why because he didn't put up with foolishness Dr. Summer, Smith, Wigglesworth, they were the
closest thing to a spiritual patent. And you know what the amazing thing is? Patent if it had not been for World War II, patent wouldn't even be in our vocabulary. >> Sure. >> Why? Because the Great War caused a great response. >> Yeah. >> Patton had to rise to the occasion. >> We have to realize all see great victories. We talk about this year coming and what's going to happen is listen for the body of Christ it's going to be the it's going to be a great year. Now that does not mean it's going to
be great stuff around all the time but for the body of Christ that knows how to stand. >> It's going to be a great year. Why? Because great testimonies come from great tests. Great victories come from great battles. You should not be praying for an easier life. You should be praying for stronger faith and developing a stronger faith to be able to stand no matter what. Amen. Because faith, listen, you have to understand, remember what I said about Matthew 10:1 and how he gave them power. And they didn't even have they had Authority and didn't
even have dunamis, didn't have the the power of the Holy Spirit in them like they received in Acts chapter one. Acts chapter 2 actually Jesus told about it in one. But think about that. All they went out with was authority. You know what that means? That means they didn't feel a thing. Why? Because authority doesn't have a feeling. You get that? Authority does not have a feeling. It has a knowing. That's where authority gets its power from. It knows. Okay. Are you a king and a priest? Made a king and a priest under your God.
Is that true? Is that what the Bible says? >> How? Okay. Everybody knows. Okay. If you know Rick Rick Rener, you know how he ends every program. >> Ecclesiastes chapter 8 vers4 where the word of a king is there is power. Ain't that right? >> Okay. How does a king reign? Are you a King? >> Yes, you are. Okay. Are you to reign in life as a king? Romans tells us. >> How do you reign? How does a king reign? If a king wants a ditch dug, does he walk outside and grab a shovel and
walk over and start digging? No. What does he do? He gives a command. Where the word of a king is, there is power. What did the centurion centurion work for the king? The emperor. What did he say? I'm a man under authority. Who put him in Authority? The emperor. He said, I tell this man to go, he goes. I tell this man to come, he comes. He said, if you just speak the word, you give a command, it'll happen. Why? Because I understand authority. And Jesus said, greatest faith I've ever seen. If you want to
walk in great faith, you must understand authority. There is no great faith without authority. Do you get that? Now you say, "Well, but do I have to speak in tongues To ask receive the baptis to heal sick?" No. They did it before. But let me tell you, it's more fun with Amen. >> Because until then, you're always waiting for something to happen. But whenever you know that you have the authority and the ability with you because that's what that dunamis is the power through you shall receive power dunamis after that the Holy Ghost comes upon
you. When you know you got that you Know you got the listen you got the badge that's your authority and you got the gun that's your ability. Do you get that? And when you give a command listen when a son of God speaks heaven hears and agrees. Hell hears and obeys. It's that simple. But you have to decide for yourself. You have to decide when I speak. I speak his words. And his words in my mouth have the same power and ability as his words did in his mouth. And then you start to Rise up
in that and you start to say, "No, this will it'll be this way and no other." Well, and I have people come all the time. I need a word, brother Curry. Okay. And I will tell them, you know, whatever need to tell them. And then they'll say, "Now, was that you or was that the Lord?" And I say, "Yes." >> Why? Because I'm not going to separate what God has put together, >> right? His I have the mind of Christ. I expect the mind of Christ to flow Through me. >> James says, "If you lack
wisdom, ask God." That's good if you're a brand new believer. But Paul said, "Guess what? Christ has been made unto us wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, redemption." Ain't that right? Yes. >> So if Jesus now, if Jesus been made in me righteous, I'm always righteous. >> Yeah. >> Well, guess what? If he's been made in me wisdom, I'm always wise. >> Do you get that? >> Yes. >> I rely on it. People think, well, he doesn't believe in being led by the spirit. I believe in it more than most of you do. Why? Because you think it
happens special at certain times. But according to Romans chapter 8, verse 14, it says, "As many as are constantly led, >> they are the sons of God." >> So I believe I'm constantly led by him. Why? Because I always do those things. I Only say what he says. I only say what Jesus said, which is what he heard the father say. So I'm only saying what the father said. And because I only do those things which please him. You say, "How do you do that?" Because everything I do is in faith. And I can only
please God with faith. So everything I do is in faith, so I always please him. And if I'm always pleasing him and I'm in faith, guess what then? The steps of a righteous man are order of the Lord. >> I'm righteous. What does that mean? That means that and and guess what else? Thanks be to God, which always causes us to triumph in Christ Jesus. So if my if I'm righteous and my steps will order the Lord, then I'm going and wherever I'm going, I'm going to triumph. I'm going to win. I'm not going Listen,
I'm not even going to fight. When I go to the hospital, I'm not to pray for people. I'm not going there to fight. This is a done deal. All [snorts] I got To do is show up. And when I show up and step into the room, I'm the highest level spiritual being in the room. Do you get that? Why? because I'm a son of the living God. >> And so when and when I know that now every sickness, every demon, whatever is in that room, as soon as I walk in, they drop their head or
probably go to a knee. Why? Because of who walked into the room. Why? Because it's no longer I that live, but Christ who lives in me. When I walk in, he walks in. Do you get that? You've heard it before. You've seen it before. It may be getting old to you, but I'm going to do it again because it is such a visual, you will not forget it. >> All right. Are you ready? Yes. >> How many of you really want to see a move of God? >> You really want to see a move of
God? >> Want to see it again? >> Why? Because when I move, >> he moves. >> Do you get that? >> He can't stay here if I move. Why? He lives in me. >> Do you get that? >> So, I'm not waiting on him to move. He's waiting on me to move. >> He's got more invested in all this than I do. He's waiting to get me to people that I can get my hands on. Do you get that? >> And he lives in me. He has filled me and He's filled you of his fullness.
Have we received? Do you get it? >> So when you move, he moves. You say, "I sure wish he'd heal the sick." Well, why don't you start moving your hand? Well, you walk through Walmart, shake hands with people. You say, "What did that do?" That's laying hands. >> That's all you got to do to lay hands and tell them, "Hey, what's going on here?" And they look at you and go, "Well," and you know, you're shaking Their hand. They're kind of like after a few minutes, they start looking at you, you know, and you say,
"I know, well, this problem." Okay. Uh, I'm I'm going to pray. Don't ask them. Nowhere in the Bible does it say to ask people to pray for them. >> It says, "Heal the sick." >> Is that right? >> Don't ask them. Can I pray for you? All right. Now, listen. If you're going to ask them, make sure you're doing this Because then they'll go, "Yes, you can." Right? So, don't shake their hand like that. because they'll go, "No, you can't. No, you can't." No. But I've I I don't even ask them. I shake their hand,
tell them who I am, and say, "You know what? I can't explain this." I could, but it would take three days or four days or whatever it is. I ain't got time for that. But I can't explain it. But I lay hands on people and God heals them. And Right now, he's healing you. >> You said, "Did you ask them if they're born again?" No. >> Jesus never healed a born again person. >> Everybody he healed was sinners. Do you get that? >> He never healed a Christian. He He was so blessed. [laughter] >> Is
this making sense to you? >> See, that's the thing. I I want you to realize we've made this thing religious. >> And God always takes me back to the to The garden to Genesis. in Genesis, no altar, >> no no no no no worship. Do you get that? >> None of that. He just walked with man in the cool of the day. >> And that's what he wants to do today. That's why he tells her, "I will walk in them and talk in them and I'll be their God and they'll be my people." >> That's
what he wants. He's not wanting the religious thing. >> He doesn't want a service. He wants Service. Yeah. He doesn't want a service. You understand what I mean? >> He wants service. He wants you to serve. >> He wants you to touch people. >> He wants to walk in you and talk in you. Wherever you go, whatever you do, he wants to be with you and and be able to talk through you. And he'll say, "Oh, look over there." He said, "I will guide you with my eye." What that means, you look over, oh, there's
a sick person. He's guiding me with his eye. I'll go to Him. >> Thank you, Lord. >> See, this is so free. It's so easy. >> It's not, oh, I got to pray. I got to pray through. Got to pray. No, listen. Listen. We we turn pray and and I I love what brother Paul's bringing out. The church needs to learn to pray. >> But we also have to remember now I say but I didn't mean discount either. I'm I'm agreeing 100%. But maybe we need to change the Terminology because prayer is really nothing more
than communion or fellowship with God. >> That's exactly right. >> And we are to pray without ceasing. >> So that means there's no Amen. You just get up in the morning, you start talking to God, you go all the way through the day and it's like get somebody on a phone call. You just never say goodbye. >> You know, if somebody comes up, yeah, You deal with that and you go, "Hang on, hang on." Okay. Yeah. And you go and you write back with them. You walk in them, right? So the the praying a lot
of times it's just communicating, just sharing. >> Does that make sense? >> Yes. >> Because if we don't change the religious terminology, we think, "Okay, it's got to be like this. I got my hands got to be right. Knees got to be okay here. I got to have my place. I go, "No, no, No." >> That's so right. >> When he showed up, he wanted man to walk with him. >> And then the reason we had an altar was because man didn't walk with him. And so man [music] sinned and there had to be an
offering. There had to be blood on an altar. And so all of that and then you look at the end result of what's going on where he's going to take us to. >> The end result is he's going to live among us. >> Yes. >> All of that is with him. It's not having religious services. You get that? >> It it's it's not doing a thing. It's living. And wherever you go, Jesus just lived. Oh, what what do you what do you need? Oh, okay. Yeah. Lord, come heal my daughter. Okay, I'll come. I'll come.
Why? Because you asked me to come. I Don't have to come. I can just send the word, but you ask me to come. I'm going to do what you say. I'm going to come. Do you see? It's a free life. It's not religious. It's not, "Oh, did I mess up today? Oh, God, please, if I messed up in any air, please for forgive me." No, Holy Spirit, if I mess up, tell me. If you don't, I'm moving forward. Unless I know it myself, unless I, you know, but it's not a matter of me being nervous.
Did I make him mad? Is he happy? If I Live just right, maybe he'll give me more power. Nope. He gave me himself. >> There's no more power to be had. And there's no feeling >> that comes with power. >> There's authority. Do you get it? >> Now, I thank God the family I was brought up in, my dad was a cop, so I was around authority. I understood authority. I saw authority in policemen. And I saw they were normal humans. >> They made mistakes. They did. And they Had families that had problems and all
kinds of stuff. I saw all of that. But then I saw when they put on that uniform and they decided to go out and take a chance with their life that they may not come back that we we have to realize and and I I saw that they were willing to put their life on the line for people they didn't even know. And and and my dad came back. He got shot. He was in car accidents and almost killed him. But by watching that, I could see how authority works. What authority works because of who
gives you the authority and what it's for. It's not even based on how good a person you are, how perfect you serve, how good character you have, all that kind of stuff. Now, we want everybody to be growing and be better and be have good character and all that, but God is not keeping Somebody sick by not using you because you kicked the cat this morning on your way out. He loves them enough to overlook that. >> That's the truth >> to help people because his son bore those stripes. >> He bore it for you.
Amen. And now he wants you to go and do everything he did and say everything he did and live that life. And it is an amazing life. >> And that's for every person here. >> There's not one of I don't care how nobody's too young, too old, too smart, too dumb, too. None of that. >> Why? Cuz it's him. And you got to get over yourself. >> Take yourself out of the equation and just let him be him. And yeah, people are gonna say, "Who do you think you are?" You're say, "You know what? That
doesn't really matter. It's who he thinks I am. That's all that counts." >> Amen. >> Amen. >> Are did you get anything out of this this morning? >> Amen. Amen. Um, [applause] we don't need a visitation of God. We are being builded into a habitation of God. He wants to move into you, live in you, dwell in you, walk in you, talk in you. >> He don't want to just come and visit. >> See, when he comes and visits, you're on your best behavior. >> You know, everything's perfect. But the thing is, even when when
you think he leaves, he ain't leaving. He still knows. Amen. >> And guess what? He loves you anyway. Isn't that amazing? So whatever you're going through, I don't care what they've told you. >> The truth is this. By his stripes, you were healed. >> And he sent his word and delivered them from their all their destructions. Whenever you have authority, you can speak. That's what one of the things I learned from Dr. Somal. I'll never forget. He used to say, "It'll be this way and no other." And I don't mean maybe. And I'm like, who
talks like that? And he was proclaiming, he was declaring and and that's and that it happened that way. So when you have authority, you can speak And when you speak, you declare the end result. It will be this way. And I don't mean maybe. Now, usually when you do that, instantly almost symptoms or circumstances get worse. Why? Because the devil wants to see if you're going to stand or if you're going to cave. That simple. So if it happens that way, go ha. Yep. Haha. No. Okay. And just and just recognize. Ah, okay. Devil, I
see you. >> I ain't going to fall for that. I'm standing. This is the way it will be. >> By his stripes, I'm healed. >> Amen. >> I'm not going to die. I'm going to live and declare the glory of God. >> Thank you. >> Amen. Are you getting this? >> You have to decide because listen, you're not I can get you healed, but I'm not always with you. >> So, there's going to come a time when You're going to have to stand and you're going to have to make that decision. Yeah, here it is
again. This thing has tried to come back or this thing it's a new thing. Doesn't matter. There's no new thing. >> The new thing is just an old thing with new clothes. So just know no, I can stand. Why? Because it's not about who lays hands on me. >> It's about who lives in me. >> That's the key. You've got to know this. You got to settle yourself for But you don't know who I You don't know what I've done. Yeah. But God did and he still accepted you. >> Amen. >> Amen. >> Listen, every
time he answers a prayer, it brings glory to the father. >> And you know what else? It shows Satan's defeat. He doesn't Some of the things he does, He doesn't even do it just because of you. Sometimes he does it because your enemy hates you and God hates the enemy. >> And he'll do it. Listen, he doesn't even have to like you. He does. But I'm just saying he doesn't do things just because he likes you or loved you. He does things for you because of Jesus and because of an enemy. See, that's what the
church has lost. They've lost the idea that healing is warfare. Healing isn't just convincing God to Release power. Healing is warfare between two kingdoms. The devil makes people sick. God wants people well. >> And so that warfare, but he needs soldiers. >> So quit you like men. Be strong. Endure hardness as a good soldier of Jesus Christ. Don't get entangled in the affairs of life. Why? So that you may please the one who has called you >> to his warfare. >> Hallelujah. >> You get that? See, I don't worry about well my calling, your calling,
this call. None of that matters. Why? Because we're all called to be conformed to the image of Christ. >> And we're all to know his calling. Why? Because his calling is our calling. Because he put his commission on us. That's all you got to think about. Oh, but you don't understand. I need a Title. I need a tag that says apostle. I need a tag says prophet. I said I went to a meeting one time, a pro prophetic meeting. Everybody's walking around with their tags. [laughter] My friend came by. It was a Saturday morning. He
said, "Come, come visit." You know, I take her. And I'm like, "I don't want to go to that. You know, it's Saturday." And he said, "No, come on. Come on. Come on." So, we get in the car. We go. I don't even dress up. You Know, I go over there like I was. And I walked up. This one guy, actually, he walked up. We're standing there talking to my friend. And this guy walks up, nice suit, nice shoes, big tag, prophet so and so. And he walks over and he goes, "Hello, I'm prophet so and
so." He goes, "Who are you?" I said, "If he was a real prophet, you could tell me." [laughter] [applause] My my friend looks, he goes, "Curry, man, I can't take you anywhere." He goes, "We might as well leave." I said, "Good plan worked." Why? Why? Cuz Dr. Summer said, "Listen, an apple tree doesn't need a sign >> that says apple tree." >> An apple tree produces apples. >> Go produce some apples. We'll know what to call you. >> Amen. >> Why? Because when we start doing these Titles, everybody that don't think they have a title
leaves them out >> and they think, "Oh, I'm not one of those guys." No. No. We're the trainers. We're the coaches. We're we're the supposed to encourage you and lift you up and tell you how to get this done. That's why you need the five-fold ministry. >> You need an apostle to come through and that will when he leaves, he leaves that Apostolic DNA in you, that that militant, that aggressive take territory for Christ. And then and when you when he leaves, you got that in you. You're like, "Yeah, let's do something. What do we
do? What do we got to do?" And then the prophet comes through and then he shows how to operate in the prophetic. He doesn't just do it. He's not a show. He doesn't just come through and read everybody's mail and then adios, take off. No, no, No. He's got to leave that DNA. He's got to train you how to be prophetic so that you can be apostolic and now you're also prophetic. Doesn't make you a prophet, just makes you prophetic. >> Then an evangelist comes through, get everybody saved. Evangelist comes through, everybody in church gets
saved again. Right? Like brother Mark said, get saved over and over and over. Right? Why? Because that's his heart. And when he leaves, you're going to have a desire To win the lost if he trains you. If he if he leaves his DNA in you. And then the same thing with the pastor or the shepherd that the caring, the nurturing, you want to help people. And then as the teacher, why? Because that's part of disciplehip. And when you get all five, you look like Jesus because he was the the great apostle. He was that prophet.
He was an evangelist bringing good news. He was a pastor, a shepherd, and he was a teacher, a rabbi. You got to have all Five. It's not about being one thing. One thing you got to send people to other places. No, no, no. And but we got to get off of our ideas of who I am. This my ministry, and I want my market share. And because as long as you think that way, you think I can't have a disciple cuz what if he's gets better than I do? Then I'll be, you know, challenged by
him. No, no, no. Paul said, you may have 10,000 instructors, but you have not Many fathers. >> That's right. >> Why? Because instructors, they want to be seen. They got good teaching. They got this stuff, and they got the all this stuff, and they're moving forward, and it's about them. But a father wants the children to surpass him, >> to grow up. There's nothing better for a father than to watch their children be adults and live their life good and Right and be blessed. Why? Because that means you did something right, at least a little
bit, to head them in the right direction. That's the difference between a father and an instructor. A boy teacher is what that word means. >> An immature teacher. I'm I'm I'm 66. I'll be 67 in a couple of months. I don't feel like it most of the time, but God is moving me. And I didn't even recognize it at first into more of a fathering. Why? Because I started wanting to see people really grow and surpass. And I want to be able to look at him and go, "Yes." And know that this thing is going
to continue on. And that's why because this message died almost 70 years ago. Over 70 years ago now. Think about that. It can't die again. Why? This is the gospel of the kingdom. This isn't a, "Oh, I'll keep feeding you faith until you get enough and get you healed." No, no, no. This is the gospel of the kingdom. >> The kingdom has come near to you. >> Heal the sick. >> Amen. And it's for every person. That's the beauty of it. Do you get anything out of this? >> Okay. Amen. >> All right. Well,
