This guy spent $500,000 for this machine to 3D print his entire house. It prints the walls in layers using concrete, which is durable enough to last up to 300 years. The hollow walls allow for easier installation of plumbing and wiring.
Steel reinforcements and spray foam add strength, soundproofing, and insulation. Because the machine does most of the work, minimal labor is needed, saving up to 45% in costs. And it's also much faster to build.
